Samuel Jewell Jordan

Samuel Jewell Jordan died Sunday in Midwest City at the age of 88.

He was born Aug. 29, 1913, in Arkansas to Alice Delano (Cummings) Jordan and Henry Asa Jordan.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jessie (Springer) Jordan, parents, three brothers and one sister.

Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Larry Morphis; grandchildren, Jonathon and Gina Morphis of Edmond, Jeffrey Morphis of Oklahoma City and Larisa; two great-granddaughters; a sister and brother-in-law, Nellie and Howard Good; special nephew and niece and nephew-in-law, Debbie and Jimmie Trammell of Midwest City and Michael Jenkins of Edmond; several other nieces and nephews; three sisters-in-law and a brother-in-law, Lorene Jenkins and Alma Artis of Midwest City and Cora Lee and Greg Kolb, of Lancaster, Pa.; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Carl and LaWanda Springer of Prague.

A graveside service will be 1 p.m. today in the Garden Grove Cemetery under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service of Prague.

Ernest Edwin Clark

Ernest Edwin Clark, 78, Shawnee, died Tuesday at a local nursing home.

Survivors are his wife, Joyce Lee Clark, Shawnee, two sons and daughters-in-law, Ernest Edwin Jr. and Cassie Clark, Canyon, Texas, Casey Floyd and Carolyn Clark of Parker, Colo.; a daughter and son-in-law, George and Lyn Clark Davenport, Shawnee; sister and brother-in-law, Freda and Cecil Welch of Odessa, Texas; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A private memorial service was conducted Wednesday.

Irene Jeffcoat

Irene Jeffcoat, 72, Tecumseh, died Tuesday in Shawnee.

Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Cooper Funeral Home with the Rev. Lonnie Hurst officiating. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memorial Park.

Aline H. Stewart

Aline Hattie Stewart, 96, Oklahoma City, died Monday at her home.

Survivors include a daughter, Letha McMurty, Oklahoma City, and a son, Donald Stewart, College Station, Texas; five grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.

Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Capital Hill Assembly of God Church, Oklahoma City with the Rev. H. Franklin Cargill officiating. Burial is 2 p.m. Saturday in White Dove Cemetery, Chandler. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service, Chandler.

Eva Lee Moncrief

Former Konawa resident Eva Lee Moncrief, 87, of Tulsa died Tuesday in Tulsa.

She was born May 21, 1914, in Ada, the daughter of Ned and Grace Johnson.

Moncrief graduated from Konawa High School in 1933. Her career consisted of buying and selling antiques.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors are three sons and a daughter-in-law, Michael Moncrief and David and Jennith Moncrief, all of Tulsa, and Stephen Moncrief of Hawaii; a sister, Madge McAnally of Konawa; and two granddaughters, Julie and Katherine.

A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Sacred Heart Cemetery with the Rev. Matthew Brown, O.S.B., officiating.

Arrangements are being handled by Pickard-Swearingen Funeral Home.

Victoria Grace Judy

Victoria Grace Judy, 42 days, of Shawnee died Tuesday at an Oklahoma City hospital.

Survivors are her parents, Richard Strickland of Seminole and Amy Hartman of Shawnee; grandparents, Randy and Billa Judy of Shawnee and Dwight and Teena Roberts of Seminole; great-grandparents, Bill and Theony Slaughter, Belva Phillips and Glen and Sue Judy, all of Shawnee, and Shirley Baker of Seminole; and several other relatives.

A service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Roesch-Walker Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Larry Goins officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Park under the direction of Roesch-Walker Funeral Chapel.

Warren Johnson

Warren Johnson, 85, of Chandler died Monday.

Services are pending with Parks Brothers Funeral Service.

Rachel Marie Schofield

Rachel Marie Schofield, 88, of Chandler died Monday in Oklahoma City.

Survivors include four grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and other relatives and friends.

Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel of Chandler with the Rev. Tim Ruck officiating. Burial will follow at the Oak Park Cemetery of Chandler under the direction of the Parks Brothers Funeral Service.

Rose Mary Cuellar

Rose Mary Cuellar, 66, died Monday at a local hospital.

Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Benedict Catholic Church with the Rev. Maurus Jaeb, O.S.B., and the Rev. Pat McCool, O.S.B., officiating.

Burial will follow at Tecumseh Cemetery under the direction of Gaskill-Owens Funeral Chapel.

S.A. Woodrum Jr.

S.A. "Woody" Woodrum Jr., 71, of Shawnee died Monday at his home.

He was born Sept. 3, 1930, in Ashland, Ky., to Red and Jennie Woodrum.

He served in the U.S. Air Force for 21 years.

He was a city planner at Lakewood, Colo., and moved to Shawnee in 1978, where he served as city inspector for eight years.

He later worked as a purchasing agent for Oklahoma Baptist University.

He married Beverly Smith, who preceded him in death in 1991.

He married Nancy Lenox Sept. 20, 1991.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy Woodrum of the home; a daughter and son-in-law, Vicki and Don Kuhns of Joplin, Mo; a son, Roc Woodrum of South Euclid, Ohio; three stepdaughters and sons-in-law, Jyme McMunn and Dennis Cornelius of Del City, Jenny and Fred Satatton of Meeker and Jo and Mike Walker of Meeker; two sisters, Mona Dwinell of Denver, Colo., and Joanne Carter of Bull Head, Ariz.; and 12 grandchildren.

Services are 2 p.m. Thursday at Liberty Baptist Church with the Rev. Bill Matthews and the Rev. Phil Thompson officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Roesch-Walker Funeral Chapel.

William Stephen Keller Jr.

William Stephen Keller Jr., 64, Oklahoma City, died Sunday at his home.

He was born Aug. 2, 1937, in Shawnee to William S. and Wanda (Robb) Keller.

He graduated from Shawnee High School and attended The University of Oklahoma and the Oklahoma Military Academy. He served in the U.S. Army.

Keller worked as a real estate developer and homebuilder. He was a member of the Oklahoma City Builders Association, Shawnee Home Builders Association and the Real Estate Board of Shawnee, also serving as an officer in all of those organizations.

Keller was district land man for the Ben Franklin Stores and an officer of the Syl Goldman Properties in Oklahoma City.

He was president of Keller Enterprises and an officer of Keller Seed Store.

Preceding him in death was his father, William S. Keller Sr.

Surviving are his daughter, Kimberly Keller, Oklahoma City; two sons and daughters-in-law, William S. III and Carmen Keller, Plainfield, Ind., and Scott Dudley and Anneshia Keller of Huffman, Texas; five granddaughters and a grandson-in-law, Tiffany and Matt Waldrup, Shawnee, Sidney Keller of Austin, Texas, Jordan Keller, Brooke Keller and Taylor Keller, all of Plainfield, Ind.; grandson, Stephen Scott Keller of Huffman, Texas; one great-granddaughter, Allison Waldrup, Shawnee; mother, Wanda R. Keller, Oklahoma City; brother, David D. Keller, Oklahoma City; three aunts; and many cousins and friends.

The family has designated Hospice of Oklahoma County Inc., 4334 N.W. Expressway, Suite 106, Oklahoma City, OK, 73116, and Emmanuel Episcopal Church, P.O. Box 548, Shawnee, OK 74802, as appropriate for memorials.

Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Emmanuel Episcopal Church with the Rev. Jane Morris officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Gaskill-Owens Funeral Chapel.

Glen Martin

Prague resident Glen Martin, 76, died Saturday at Prague nursing center.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Phyllis Martin, two daughters and sons-in-law, Diana and Gary Srader, all of Prague, and Jan and Jack Taylor of Check, Va.; a sister and brother-in-law, Freda and Kenneth Holmes of Cookson, Okla.; three grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.

A graveside service will be 2 p.m. today at Prague Cemetery with the Rev. Glen Pence officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Seminole.

Violet M. Whitehead

Violet M. Whitehead, 90, Shawnee, died Sunday a local hospital.

She was born Oct. 16, 1911, in Tecumseh to James Cloud and Alice (Coulter) Cloud. She great up in Tecumseh and attended Tecumseh Public Schools.

She was a homemaker and a charter member of Temple Baptist Church, Shawnee. She had lived in Shawnee/Tecumseh area all her life.

Preceding her in death are her parents, two brothers, one sister, a son, Jimmie T. Whitehead, and daughter, Beulah Marie Mills.

Surviving are two sisters, Rosa Mae Cartwright and Minnie Tucker, both of Shawnee; two grandsons and a spouse, Don and Donna Mills and Tommy Whitehead, all of Shawnee; granddaughters and spouses, Treva and Terry Brown, Tecumseh, Sherrie Robinson and Paula Lako, Winchester, Va., Lisa Whitehead, Shawnee, and Joyce and Jeff King, Shawnee; seven great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m. today at Resthaven Memorial Park with the Rev. Mike Craig officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Resthaven Funeral Home.

Ethel L. Ritchie

Ethel L. (Coffey) Ritchie, 96, of Tecumseh died Friday in a local nursing home.

She was born April 20, 1906, in Macomb to Avery Arthur and Mary Elizabeth (Rowan) McGlasson.

She married Chattie Coffey in 1922. She later married Walter Ritchie on Jan. 26,1952, in Shawnee.

Ritchie lived in Macomb and the Shawnee area most of her life.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Walter; a daughter, Shirley Ann Coffey; a stepdaughter, Loretta Grove; four brothers, Jasper McGlasson, Jim Summers, Clyde Summers and Art McGlasson; two sisters, Mamie Buckley Harden and Iva Tripp Hardin; and a granddaughter, Belle Angela Biagi.

Survivors include her daughter Norma Biagi of Annabella, Utah; two sons, Art Coffey of Seminole and Perry Coffey of Shawnee; 19 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other family members.

Services were 2 p.m. Monday at Gaskill-Owens Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Wayne Bryant officiating. Burial was in Resthaven Memorial Park.

Arrangements were handled by Gaskill-Owens Funeral Chapel.
