Thomas H. Hodge, Sr.
December 8, 1940 - February 14, 2015
Thomas H. Hodge Sr., 74, of Nazareth, PA passed away on Saturday, February 14, 2015 in St. Lukes Hospital, in Bethlehem Twp.
Born: Thomas was born in Glendon Borough, PA, a son of the late John and Helen (Briener) Hodge.
Personal: Thomas was a graduate of Wilson High School, class of 1958. He worked many years as a laborer in the steel industry and as a paint line operator at Victaulic until his retirement in 2003. Thomas enjoyed wood working, camping, country music and two step dancing. He was a proud blood donor who donated 10 gallons of blood over the past few years.
Memberships: Thomas was a member of St. Anthony of Padua, in Easton.
In addition to his parents Thomas was predeceased by his loving Wife of 49 years, Anna Keesler Hodge, who passed in 2009, and a sister Jane Kocher in 2008.
Survivors: Thomas is survived by his three sons: Nathaniel Keesler and his wife Bonnie, of Easton; Ronald Keesler and his wife Doreen, of Easton; Thomas H. Hodge Jr. and his wife Samantha, of Nazareth; two daughters: Helen Davis and her husband Thomas, of Coaldale, PA; Lisa Gudzinas and her husband Anthony, of Palmer Twp.; Seven grandchildren: Rochelle, Brian, Ryan, Daryl, Dana, Michael, and Nicholas; four great grandchildren: Avery, Vivienne, Michael, and Koen; two brothers: John Hodge and his wife June, of Easton; Mike Hodge, of Easton; four sisters: Rose Stem, from IN, Catherine Horninger and her husband Paul, of Easton, Ruth Snyder, of Easton, and Jean Saylor, of Easton.
Services: Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Morello Funeral Home Inc., 3720 Nicholas St., Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.). Additional viewing hour will be held on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. in the Morello Funeral Home Inc., followed by funeral services beginning at 10:00 a.m. in the Morello Funeral Home Inc. Interment will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Palmer Twp.

Lois B. Gambino
September 17, 1934 - February 19, 2015
Lois B. Gambino, 80, formerly of Easton and Bath, PA, earned her wings on Thursday, February 19, 2015 in Old Orchard Manor Care, comforted by her loving daughters.
Born: Lois was born in Avoca, PA, a daughter of the late William and Jeanette (Hastie) Buckingham.
Personal: Lois was a graduate of Easton High School, class of 1952. She completed the LPN Program at Vo-Tech Easton Hospital in 1969. Working at Easton, Allentown Sacred Heart Hospital, Gracedale, and Allentown State Hospital, she returned to Northampton Community College receiving her RN in 1986. She worked at Warren Hospital, retiring from there.
Memberships: Lois was a member of the Greater Shiloh Church of South Side, Easton.
Survivors: Lois is predeceased by her beloved husband, Angelo T. Gambino of 20 years; and a sister Barbara B. Clause. She is survived by her daughters Debra G. Wynn of Easton, Cynthia G. Christman of Nesquehoning; a sister Janet Silva of Easton; a brother David E. Buckingham and wife Joyce of Catasauqua; grandchildren Andrew T. Gambino, R. Wesley Deats III, Charles Dee Wynn, Thomas E. Wynn, Chad E. Wynn; great grandchildren Talon Gambino, Mya J. Jefferson, Malasia E. Wynn, Cayden E. Wynn, Cianna Wynn, and Alexander T. Gambino.
Services: Calling hours will be held on Friday from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm and also on Saturday from 10:00 am to 11:00 am in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.) followed by a funeral service at 11:00 am in the funeral home. Interment will be in Easton Heights Cemetery.
Memorial Contributions: In lieu of flowers, contributions in Lois memory may be made to the Nursing Scholarship Program at Northampton Community College, 3835 Green Pond Road, Bethlehem, PA 18020, or to a charity of ones choice.

Richard Casciole Sr.
March 6, 1936 - February 21, 2015
Richard Casciole Sr. 78, of Forks twp. passed away Saturday, February 21st, 2015 at Easton Hospital.
Richard was born in Easton, PA a son of the late Leonard and Mary (Muretta) Casciole Sr.
Richard and his wife the former Sarah Jane (DeBleyker) celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary this last May 23rd. He was employed for many years as a diesel mechanic for the former Anthony Ferrante and sons of Pattenburg, NJ.
In addition to his wife Sarah, Richard is survived by his sons; Robert Casciole and wife Kathryn of Breinigsville, PA, Richard Casciole Jr. of Forks Twp, Ronald Casciole and wife Denise of Forks Twp., daughters; Rosemarie Casciole and companion Anthony Giorgione of Wilson Borough, Roberta Smith and companion James Setcer of Easton, a brother Louis Casciole of Bethlehem Twp., grandchildren; Kyle, Christopher, Gregory, Katelyn, Cameron, James, Jessica, Zachary, Michael and a great grandson Carmine.
Richard is preceded in death by a daughter Renee Casciole who died in infancy, brothers; Anthony Sr, Nicholas, Leonard Jr., James and a sister Mary Rebmann.
Calling hours will be held Wednesday 6pm-8pm and also on Thursday from 8:15am-9:15am in the Morello Funeral Home Inc. 3720 Nicholas St. (Palmer Twp.) Easton, PA followed by a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday at 10 am in St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church 9th and Lehigh St. Easton, PA. Interment will follow in Northampton Memorial Shrine, Palmer Twp.

Olga T. Loiacono
September 7, 1921 - February 10, 2015
Olga T. Loiacono, 93, of South Abington, PA, passed away on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 in Gracedale Nursing Home.
Born: Olga was born in Pittston, PA, a daughter of the late Luigi and Ersilia (Stella) Scatena.
Personal: Olga was married to Dr. Joseph R. Loiacono, Sr., before his passing in 2006.
Memberships: Olga was a member of St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church.
Survivors: Olga is survived by her sons Dr. Joseph R. Loiacono, Jr and wife Cheryl of Clark Summit, PA, Robert Loiacono of Miami, FL; daughters Dr. Kathleen Zyskowski and husband William of Easton, PA, Maureen Guffy and husband James of Easton, PA; grandchildren Joseph David Loiacono, Sandra Jo Palonis and husband Jason, Sean David Loiacono, Lauren Nicole Loiacono, Jaime Lynn Zyskowski, Kelly Ann Zyskowski, Marissa Lynne Guffy; great-grandchildren Natalie Loiacono, Aurora Mann, Anthony Loiacono, Colton Palonis, and Cassidy Palonis. In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her siblings Theodore Corsaletti, Della Musto, Vienna Comodi, Armand Scatena, Gildo Scatena, Peter Scatena, Nello Scatena, Elmo Scatena, and Ada Rostock.
Services: A calling hour will be held on Monday from 9:00 am to 10:00 am in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.), followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am in St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church, 4049 Hartley Avenue, Easton, PA. Interment will be in Northampton Memorial Shrine, Palmer Twp.

Marian T. (Crouse) Solt
April 11, 1926 - February 27, 2016
Marian Transue (Crouse) Solt, 89, of Phillipsburg, NJ, passed away on Saturday, February 27, 2016 in Saucon Valley Manor, Hellertown.
Marian was born on April 11, 1926, in Easton, PA, a daughter of the late Floyd and Ruth Transue, the first of six children.
Marian was the wife of William M. Crouse, Sr., and William H. Solt, both deceased. She worked for Bell Telephone in Easton before retiring in 1979, and became lifetime member of the Telephone Pioneers of America. She was also a lifetime member of her beloved Our Lady of Mercy Parish, formerly St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, where she was a lifetime member of the Altar and Rosary Society. Marian volunteered at Easton Catholic Elementary School until it closed in 2009 and continued to volunteer with the Christopher Campbell Basketball Tournament and other Easton Catholic activities for many years. Known for baking for every organization and family member, her Christmas cookies were the ultimate which she began baking in November to complete the thousands of cookies needed in time for Christmas packaging. Marian was also a talented seamstress sought after by many. Each Easter season, for Lent, she would give up going to the Casinos with her son.
Marian is survived by her son William M. Jr and wife Jacqueline along with their children Christopher, Megan and Matthew who were everything to her; a brother James, brother-in-law Francis Helme, and a nephew Michael Helme and wife Anne. In addition to both her husbands, she is preceded in death by her siblings Eleanor Helme, Elizabeth Yeager, Frederick Transue, Edward Transue; and a granddaughter Kimberly Ann Crouse.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, with an additional calling hour on Friday from 8:15 am to 9:15 am in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10:00 am in St. Bernard’s Oratory, 132 South 5th Street, Easton, PA. Interment will be in Easton Cemetery.

Antonette M. Petrignani
January 23, 1926 - February 22, 2016
Antonette M. Petrignani, 90, of Easton, PA, passed away on Monday, February 22, 2016 in Easton Hospital.
She was born in Easton, PA, and grew up in Madison NJ, a daughter of the late John and Maria (Colaprico) Dalena.
Antonette was married to Nicholas Petrignani, before his passing in 2010.
She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, the Golden Age Club, and volunteered at the Festa Italiana Church.
Antonette is survived by a brother John D. Dalena and wife Ann of Jensen Beach, FL. In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her brothers Joseph, Fred and Albert.
Calling hours will be held on Friday from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm with an additional calling hour on Saturday from 8:45 am to 9:45 am in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10:30 am in St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 9th & Lehigh Streets, Easton, PA. Interment will be in St. Anthony’s Cemetery, William’s Twp.
In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 900 Washington Street, Easton, PA 18042.

Albert Difilippantonio, Sr.
February 14, 1916 - February 22, 2016
Albert Difilippantonio Sr., 100, of Easton, PA, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 22, 2016, after celebrating his 100th birthday on Valentine’s Day.
Albert was born in Martins Creek, PA, one of nine children of Giuseppe and Thomasina (Cicale) Difilippantonio and grew up in Martins Creek.
Albert was married to the former Rose M. Brunetti who passed away in 1995. They married in 1946, and made their home in Easton. He was a hard-working man, providing a very good life for his family. He loved telling jokes, playing the harmonica, and was still doing the jitterbug at age 99. Albert was employed at Lehigh Portland Cement and Nazareth Steel Fabricators. After he retired, he enjoyed woodworking and flea marketing. Since 2010, he was a resident of Gracedale Nursing Home, keeping the staff busy and dancing with nurses and residents. He was a proud and courageous veteran of World War II, serving in the Pacific Theater as part of the 158th Infantry Regiment (also known as the Bushmasters).
Albert is survived by his sons Gary and wife Marie of Newtown, CT, and Albert, Jr., of Easton, PA; a brother John and his wife Gloria; five grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. In addition to his wife, he is preceded in death by his sisters Mary Scarpantonio and Gloria Piscitello; brothers Pete, Pat, Frank, Fiore, and Thomas.
A calling hour will be held on Monday from 11:00 am to 12:00 noon in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.), followed by a funeral service at 12:00 noon in the funeral home. Interment will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Palmer Twp.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Albert’s memory may be made to the Nazareth Ambulance Corps., PO Box 326, Nazareth, PA 18064.

Constance M. DiGiacomo
June 13, 1921 - February 23, 2016
Constance M. DiGiacomo, 94, of Easton, PA, passed away on Tuesday, February 23, 2016 in Country Meadows Nursing Home.
Constance was born in Manhattan, NY, a daughter of the late Ignazio and Rosa (Errante) Stragratanio.
Constance was married to Peter DiGiacomo before his passing. She attended Mary Help of Christians School in Manhattan. Constance was a machine operator, and also co-proprietor of a grocery store in Brooklyn, NY before retiring in 1975. She enjoyed word puzzles, traveling, and reading.
Constance was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Golden Age in Easton, and the West Ward Ladies Democratic Club.
Constance is survived by a daughter-in-law Carole DiGiacomo-Giannascoli; grandchildren Heather Dennis of Miami, FL, Peter DiGiacomo of Douglasville, PA; great-grandchildren Cauley, Cameron, Christian, and Coleman Dennis; nieces Roseann Cicerello of NJ, Joanne Strenta of NY. In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her brothers Joseph and Horace Stragratanio.
A calling hour will be held on Friday from 1:00 pm to 1:30 pm in St.
Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 9th & Lehigh Streets, Easton, PA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 1:30 pm in the church. Interment will be in St. Anthony’s Cemetery, William’s Twp.

Amerigo F. Stanco
November 14, 1929 - February 23, 2016
Amerigo F. Stanco, 86 of Palmer Twp., passed away Tuesday February 23, 2016 in Moravian Village, Bethlehem.
Born: He was born on November 14, 1929 in Bronx, NY a son of the late Canio and Rosa Zirilli Stanco.
Personal: Amerigo and his wife, the former Deanna Fiorentino celebrated 59 years of marriage together. He was employed as a sales representative for Dunn and Bradstreet until his retirement in 1986. He proudly served our country in the US Army during the Korean War. Amerigo earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Pace University in NY.
Memberships: Amerigo was a member of St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church in Palmer Twp.
Survivors: In addition to his wife, Amerigo is survived by sons John Stanco and wife Deborah of Pouquag, NY, James Stanco of Peekskill, NY; daughters Lori Minasi and husband Michael of Bethany, CT, Dina Innocenti and husband Eugene of Milford, NJ, Lisa Buonora and husband John of Holand, PA; and grandchildren Joseph, Deanna, Paul, Michael, Christopher, Lauren, John, Mitchel, Raymond and Talia. A daughter Susan Stanco preceded Amerigo in death.
Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday February 29th at 10:30am in St. Jane’s Catholic Church, 4049 Hartley Ave. Palmer Twp. Interment will be private. Arrangements are under the direction of the Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas St. Palmer Twp.
Memorial Contributions: In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, Lehigh Valley Unit, 3893 Adler Place Bethlehem, PA 18017 in memory of Amerigo.
