Louise V. Faulkner

Louise V. Faulkner, 90, of Lock Haven, died Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2001.
She was a member of Covenant United Methodist Church and a former Red Cross volunteer.
She was preceded in death by sisters Freda C. Faulkner and Madelyn Shaffer.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Flemington Cemetery with Rev. James VanZandt. Helt Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
Contributions may go to the charity of ones choice.

Robert F. Paternostro

Robert F. Paternostro, 43, of 2245 Garfield Ave., West Lawn, died Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2001, at Lancaster General Hospital. He was born March 22, 1958, in Williamsport, the son of Joseph L. and Jean N. Oyster Paternostro.
He and his wife, the former Myra Y. Revak, celebrated their 24th wedding anniversary July 30, 2001.
He was employed as a Tow Motor Driver with Gai-Tronics Inc. in Mohnton. He loved carpentry and was a sports enthusiast as well as an avid gardener.
He was a former member of the Church of the Annunciation here in Williamsport and was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, West Reading.
Surviving, besides his wife, are his parents of Williamsport; three brothers, Joseph R., Thomas and Michael Paternostro, all of Williamsport; five sisters, Ann Marie Root of Manheim, Cindy Allegrucci, Mary Sutkins and Linda Moyer, all of Williamsport and Tina Paternostro of Telluride, CO.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Monday in the Church of the Annunciation, Walnut and West Fourth Sts. The Rev. John Manno, pastor of Annunciation, will officiate.
Friends may call at the Crouse Funeral Home, 133 E. Third St., on Sunday evening from 7-9 p.m. There will be a vigil service there are 8:15. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery.

Paul H. Cady

Paul H. Cady, 56, of RR2 Wellsboro, died Dec. 13, 2001. He was a Vietnam Army veteran. Surviving are his wife, Nancy; a son, Paul R. of Roebling, NJ; a daughter, Kimberly A. of Mansfield; three grandchildren; three brothers and a sister. Friends may call at Tussey-Mosher Funeral Home, "A Life Celebration Home," 139 Main St., Wellsboro on Saturday 7-9 p.m. and Sunday 2-5 p.m. The funeral will be there Monday at 10 a.m.

Leah C. Zettlemoyer

Leah C. Zettlemoyer, 75, of RR1 Brockport, formerly of Watsontown, died Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2001, in Pittsburgh. She was born near Schuyler on Jan. 11, 1926 to Franklin and Gladys Betz Umstead.
The funeral service will be conducted Saturday, Dec. 15, at 1 p.m. at Brooks Funeral Home, Turbotville. Burial will follow in Watsontown Cemetery. Friends may call from noon to 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Geraldine M. Moll

Geraldine M. Moll, 71, of 312 Main St., Turbotville, died Wednesday, Dec., 12, 2001, at Geisinger Medical Center. She and her husband, Denzil K. Moll, would have celebrated 46 years of marriage Dec. 24.
A homemaker, she was also well-known as a babysitter for many families in the Turbotville area.
She was a member of the Messiah Lutheran Church, McEwensville, and the adult Sunday school class there.
Born July 13, 1930, in Delaware Twp., she was the daughter of the late Allen and Catherine Bower Leech, Sr.
Surviving, besides her husband, are a son, Steven D. Moll and a daughter, Barbara A. Moll, both of Turbotville; a brother and his wife, Allen and Freda Leech, Jr., of RD1 Turbotville; three sisters, Helen Robenolt and Doris Temple of Watsontown and Patricia Speaks of Bloomsburg. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Debra A. Moll, who died at birth in 1958; a brother, Robert Bower and a sister, Hester Hafer.
The funeral service will be held Saturday, Dec. 15, at 10:30 a.m. at Messiah Lutheran Church, McEwensville, with the Rev. Charla M. Grieves, her pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in Green Lawn Memorial Park, RR2 Montgomery. Friends may call at the church Saturday morning from 9-10:30 a.m.
The family suggests contributions in her memory be made to the American Diabetes Association, Always and Forever Memorial and Honor Program, PO Box 2680, North Canton, OH 44720.
Arrangements are being handled by Brooks Funeral Home, Turbotville.

Donald R. Sweeley

Donald R. Sweeley, 63, a resident of Fulmer Personal Care Home, Lock Haven, died Sunday, Dec. 9, 2001, in Lock Haven, after being hit by a car. Born August 14, 1938, in Williamsport, he was the son of Frank E. and Isabel Sims Sweeley.
He had worked for Divine Providence Hospital and Hope Enterprises, Inc., both of Williamsport.
Mr. Sweeley is survived by a son, Steven T. Snyder of Trout Run, two daughters, Heather R. Snyder of Williamsport and Holly M. Ritter of Jersey Shore; three brothers, Robert and Thomas, both of Williamsport and Bernard of Fort Lauderdale, FL and eight grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents; a brother, James and a granddaughter, Sonya Hackney.
A graveside memorial service will be held Thursday, Dec. 13 at 11:30 a.m. at the Wildwood Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Arrangements by Spitler Funeral Home.

Shirley Jean Miller

Shirley Jean Miller, 65, a resident of RR3 Muncy, passed away at 10:55 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2001, in the Muncy Valley Hospital, where she was taken after being stricken at her residence. Born in New Berlin on Aug. 1, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Russell and Alma L. Wright Keister. She was the wife of Kenneth L. Miller, with whom she celebrated a 47th wedding anniversary on January 31, 2001.
She was last employed in the office at Professional Skills, Williamsport. She was formerly employed by the former Montgomery Mills.
Shirley was a member of the St. John Lutheran "Brick" Church, Montgomery. She was a member of Watsontown American Legion Post 323 Ladies Auxillary and enjoyed quilting.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Thomas G. (Marijo) Miller of Mifflintown; two daughters and a son-in-law, Diane M. (Donald) Baylor of Allenwood and Lucinda K. Crawford of Montgomery; four sisters, Pauline Renninger of Mifflinburg, Charlotte Keister of New Berlin, Janet Wiand of Middletown and Susan Weirick of Middleburg; one brother, Roger Keister; one sister-in-law, Shirley Keister; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one brother, Russell Keister.
Funeral services will be conducted from the St. John Lutheran "Brick" Church, 196 Brick Church Road, Montgomery, at 10 a.m. Saturday with Rev. Scott W. Baker, her pastor, officiating. Interment will be in Twin Hills Memorial Park. Friends may call on Friday from 7-9 p.m. at the Galen R. Betzer Funeral Service, 108 North Main St., Muncy or on Saturday from 9-10 a.m. at the church.
If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Renovation Fund at the St. Johns Lutheran "Brick" Church, 196 Brick Church Road, Montgomery, PA 17752.

Martha B. Mick

Martha B. Mick, 90, of 309 Reade Drive, Cogan Station, died Saturday, Dec. 8, 2001, at her residence. She was born in Stuttgart, Germany, January 17, 1911, a daughter of Gustav Karl and Martha Marie Schwenk Scheuermann. She was married to F. Carl Mick, who predeceased her.
Early in her life, she was a textile mill worker and later was a homemaker and raised her family. She was a former member of the Deltona, Florida garden club. She was a member of the New Covenant Church of Christ in Williamsport and was a member of the churches Womens Fellowship. She enjoyed being with her family, shopping, sewing, knitting and gardening.
Her survivors include two daughters with whom she resided, Karen M. Fisher and her husband Robert M. and Judith C. Mick; one son, John C. Mick and his wife Linda R. of Huntington, WV; two sisters, Margaret Ferenzi of Roebling, NJ and Elsie Cresswell of Badin, NC ; one brother, William Scheuermann of Stockbridge, GA; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Memorial services to celebrate her life will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 17, 2001, from New Covenant Church of Christ, 202 E. 3rd St., Williamsport, with her pastor, Rev. Bruce R. Druckenmiller, officiating. Interment will take place later in Monument Cemetery in Beverly, NJ. Friends may call at the church Monday from 10-11 a.m.
Her family suggests memorial contributions be made to Central Pennsylvania Dialysis Foundation, P.O. Box 542, Williamsport, PA 17701.
Arrangements are being handled by Rearick-Carpenter Funeral Home, "A Life Celebration Home," Jersey Shore.

Barbara C. Engler

Barbara C. Engler, 85, of Tioga, died Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2001, in Wellsboro. She is survived by a daughter, Sharon Voorhees of Sayre; two grandsons, Sean D. and Adam J. Voorhees of Sayre; a sister, Pauline Snyder of Tioga and her feline companion, Ginger.
Visitation will be 12:30-2:30 p.m. Saturday at the Jacquelyn A. Buckheit Funeral Chapel, 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, with the funeral immediately following.

John P. Blaschak Sr.

John P. Blaschak, Sr., 85, of Mill Hall, died Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2001.
cSurviving are two sons, one daughter, six grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and a sister.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Friday at St. Agnes Church, 7 East Walnut St., Lock Haven, with Rev. Fr. Robert Brown. Burial will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park. Visitation will be 9:30-10:30, Helt Funeral Chapel, 232 Hogan Boulevard, Mill Hall.

Augusta R. Fisher

Augusta R. Fisher departed this life on December 11, 2001, at Rose View Center in Williamsport. She was the wife of the late Oscar S. Fisher.
Mrs. Fisher was born in Ruckersville, VA on November 17, 1904 and recently celebrated her 97th birthday. She was the daughter of the late Adaline and General Lewis Taylor.
At an early age, Mrs. Fisher accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior and was baptized as a member of Shiloh Baptist Church in Stanardsville, VA. She moved to Williamsport in her early teens, graduated from Williamsport High School in 1927 and attended Hampton Institute in Hampton, VA.
Mrs. Fisher was a faithful, long-standing member of the Shiloh Baptist Church, where she was president of the Harmony Club and served for many years on the Missionary and Deaconness Boards.
In February 1996, the Williamsport Cultural Enrichment Committee and the Center Association recognized her for outstanding church and community service.
She is survived by five sons, George L. of Duarte, CA, J. Richard and Harold of Piscataway, NJ, Edward Lee of Oneonta, NY and Charles L. of city; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; three nieces, Betty Wilder and Virginia Taylor and one grand-niece, Denise Wilder, all of New York City. She leaves her church family and a host of friends.
Mrs. Fisher was preceded in death by two sisters, Georgiana Williams and Bertha Butler; one brother, Roy Walker and one grandson, Ronnie Fisher.
The funeral service will be Friday, December 14, at 11 a.m. at Shiloh Baptist Church, 433 Walnut St., with the Rev. Spurgeon East, her pastor, officiating. Interment will be in Wildwood Cemetery.
Visitation will be Thursday, December 13, from 7-9 p.m. at the Allen and Redmond Funeral Home, 331 Elmira St.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in her name to Shiloh Baptist Church Building Fund, 433 Walnut St., Williamsport, PA 17701.
