Funeral services for Mr. Lemuel “Lem” England, 72, were 2 p.m. Friday, March 19, 2004 at Labby Memorial Funeral Home in DeRidder, La. with Rev. Frank Ott officiating. Interment icon followed at Shiloh cemetery in DeRidder, La.
Mr. England, of DeRidder, La., was a native of Dickson. He died Wednesday, March 18, 2004 at Westwood Nursing Center in DeRidder. He was a retired city police officer with the Ardmore, Okla., Police Department and a high school security officer in Ardmore, Okla., with the Teacher’s State Retirement.
Survivors include his wife, Marie Harper England of DeRidder, La.; sons, Dale Vore and Bobby England of Ardmore, Okla.; daughters, Sheila Vincent of Pineville, La., Rhonda Gould of Guyton, Ga., and Angelin Hopper of Fort Worth, Texas; brother, Wayne England of Winter Haven, Fla.; sister, Donna Paddis of Gene Autry, Okla.; and seven grandchildren.

Callie Mae Moss List
Funeral services for Mrs. Callie Mae Moss List, 64, were 1 p.m. Monday, March 22, 2004 at the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home in Dickson with Rev. Tommy Horner officiating. Interment icon followed in Mt. Olive cemetery in Hortense.
Mrs. List, a native of Clarksville, died Thursday, March 18, 2004 in Centennial Medical Center. She was a cook at High Point Restaurant for many years. She was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Brenda L. London and Becky A. and husband, Eric Douglas, all of Nashville; three brothers, William Moss Sr. of Indianapolis, Ind., James Thomas Moss Jr. and Donald Ray Moss Sr., both of Dickson; three sisters, Betty Darden and Nancy Marie and her husband, Ronnie Horner, all of Dickson, and Patricia Moss of Nashville; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Ellis List; her sisters, Alice A. List and Brenda K. Moss; and her parents, James Thomas Moss Sr. and Willie Mae Dixon Moss.

Thomas Russell Moore Jr.
Funeral services for Mr. Thomas Russell Moore Jr., 80, are 2 p.m., Wednesday, March 24, 2004 at Dickson Funeral Home with Bro. Dean Guye and Bro. Paul Darety officiating. Interment icon follows in Union cemetery.
Visitation will continue Wednesday, March 24 from 10 a.m. until time of service.
Mr. Moore, of Dickson, was born Nov. 1, 1923, in Dickson County. He died Monday, March 22, 2004 at his residence. He was a retired general contractor and served in the U.S. Army in World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Jean Bean Moore of Dickson; sons, Anthony Thomas Moore and Timmy Dale Moore, both of Dickson; daughter, Donna Kay Scott of Dickson; step daughters, Carolyn Brunett of Lake Jackson, Texas, Joan Vineyard of Dickson, and Dee Browning of Tennessee Ridge; brothers, Robert Moore of White Bluff and James Moore of Burns; sisters, Myrtle Ruth Stewart and Dorothy Fussell, both of Dickson; grandchildren, Christopher Scott, Alisha Scott and Allison Moore, all of Dickson; great-grandchildren, Clinton Scott, Zoie Scott and Zane Scott, all of Dickson; four step-grandchildren; and one step great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Marie Cude Moore.
Memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society.

Grady LaFayette O’Kain Jr.
Funeral services for Mr. Grady LaFayette O’Kain Jr., 76, were 8 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 31, 2004 at Weatherford Mortuary with Rev. Bob Gray officiating. Interment icon followed Sunday, Feb. 1, 2004 at Anderson Memorial Gardens.
Mr. O’Kain, a native of the Solway community in Oak Ridge, Tenn., was born Aug. 27, 1927 in Dickson County. He died Thursday, Jan. 29, 2004 at his home.
He was the son of Grady L. and Katherine Miller O’Kain. He moved to Oak Ridge in 1944 with his family. He worked for Management Services, Inc. in Oak Ridge for about 30 years. He then worked for Martin Marietta Energy Systems, where he was a maintenance supervisor until his retirement in 1992. He was a Member of Central Baptist Church and a 50-plus year member of the IBEW #270.He enjoyed fishing, gardening and playing Rook.
Survivors include his wife of seven months, Reba McGinnis O’Kain of the Solway community in Oak Ridge; three daughters and their husbands, Wanda and Russell Jackson of Oak Ridge, Karen and John Edward Moneymaker of Greenville, Tenn., and Carol and Joe Hammer of Edenton, N.C.; stepdaughter and husband, Pat and J. W. Weeks and step son-in-law, Robert Southern, all of Oak Ridge; sister, Mae O’Kain Gill of the Solway community; four brothers and their wives, Bill J. and Ruby O’Kain of Oak Ridge, Jim G. and Sybil O’Kain of Powell, Doyle C. and Linda O’Kain of Huntsville, Ala., and David U. and Mary Kate O’Kain of Oak Ridge; grandchildren, Wendy Jackson of Oak Ridge, Sarah Moneymaker, Jessica Moneymaker and John Grady “J.G.” Moneymaker, all of Greenville, Tenn., and Martha Hammer and Emily Hammer, both of Edenton, N.C.; and step-grandchildren, Kara and Kelly Weeks of Oak Ridge and Ashley Southern of Cookeville, Tenn.
Mr. O’Kain was preceded in death by his first wife, Martha Ada Ferrell O’Kain, who died April 21, 1994. They had been married 46 years.
Memorials may be made to Central Baptist Church, 130 Providence Road, Oak Ridge, TN 37830.

Donny Daryl Osborne
Funeral services for Mr. Donny Daryl Osborne, 49, were 2 p.m. Sunday, March 21, 2004 at the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home in Dickson with Bro. Wilson Wickiser officiating. Interment icon followed in Union cemetery in Dickson.
Mr. Osborne, a native of Madison, Tenn., died Thursday, March 18, 2004 in Baptist-Hickman Hospital in Centerville, Tenn. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Centerville.
Survivors include two daughters, Aubrey Osborne and Brandy Wix, both of Springfield, Tenn.; his mother and step-father, Peggy and Robert Burgess of Centerville; his father and step-mother, Ellis and Dorothy Osborne of Tennessee Ridge, Tenn.; sister, Debbie Thompson Gibbs of Ashland City, Tenn.; half-sister, Lisa Eddington and her husband, Mike, of Centerville; half-brother, George Osborne and his wife, Sheila, of Tennessee Ridge; and two granddaughters, Ireland Cross and Aleah Wix.

Robert “Bobby” Lee Siler
Funeral services for Mr. Robert “Bobby” Lee Siler, 74, were 3 p.m. Tuesday, March 23, 2004 at the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Rev. Lewis Bratton and Rev. Joe Estes officiating. Interment icon followed in Dickson Union cemetery.
Mr. Siler, a retired mechanic with the former Red Kap Garment Company, died Sunday, March 21, 2004 in National Health Care Center in Dickson. He attended First Baptist Church in Dickson.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Moore Siler of Dickson; two sons, Gary Siler and Jamie Siler, both of Dickson; daughter and son-in-law, Michelle and Derrick Smith of Lyles; brother, Joseph Siler of St. Charles, Mich.; and two grandchildren, Rachel Siler and Shelby Smith.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie Siler and Myrtle Tilson Siler, and sister-in-law, Wilma O’Neal.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.

Nellie Eileen Estelle Haynes Thomas
Funeral services for Ms. Nellie Eileen Estelle Haynes Thomas, 69, are 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 24, 2004 at West Harpeth Funeral Home with Stan Ham officiating.
Ms. Thomas died March 21, 2004.
Survivors include her son, Tim Thomas; sister, June Bursey; brothers, Frank Haynes, Mack Haynes, Roy Haynes; and grandson, Sean Thomas Ogle.

Ivadelle (Donegan) Bonnette
Funeral services for Mrs. Ivadelle (Donegan) Bonnette, 73, are 2 p.m. on Friday, March 19, 2004 at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Winnfield, La. with Rev. Dick DeBusk officiating.
Services are under the direction of Southern Funeral Home, Winnfield, La. where visitation was held on Thursday, March 18 from 4-8 p.m. and from 12-2 p.m. on March 19 at Bethlehem Baptist Church. Interment icon will follow at Garden of Memories cemetery in Winnfield, La.
Mrs. Bonnette of Winnfield, La., died on Tuesday, March 16, 2004 at Rapides General Hospital in Alexandria, La. She was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. Mrs. Bonnette was a native of Dickson, Tenn.
She is survived by her two sons, David Bonnette of Iatt Lake, La. and Steve Bonnette of San Antonio, Texas; one sister, Mildred Allmon of Kingston Springs; one brother, Billy Donegan of Nashville; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Arthur Donegan and Iva Dugan Donegan, her husband, J.D. Bonnette, five brothers and one sister.

Vivian Yvonne Crosby
Funeral services for Mrs. Vivian Yvonne Crosby, 49, are 3 p.m. Sunday, March 21, 2004 at Dickson Funeral Home with Minister Larry Graves officiating. Visitation will be on Sunday from 1 p.m. until time of service.
Mrs. Crosby of White Bluff died on Monday, March 15, 2004 at Horizon Medical Center. She was born on Feb. 18, 1955 in Robertson Co., Tenn. She was a housekeeper.
Survivors include her mother, Betty Graves of Nashville; her husband, Billy W. Crosby of White Bluff; her son, “Geno” England of Humphreys County; her daughter, Amanda Felts of Fairview; sister, Arneda Kusen of Nashville; and brothers, Dante Graves of Bellevue and Darren Graves of Nashville.
Her father, Harold Graves, preceded her in death.

David Dwight Holland
Funeral services for Mr. David Dwight Holland, 38, are 3 p.m. Saturday, March 20, 2004 at the White Bluff Church of Christ with Bro. David Peeler officiating. Visitation will be from 2-9 p.m. on Friday, March 19 and on Saturday, March 20 from 9 a.m. until time of service. Interment icon will follow at Rock Church cemetery.
Dickson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Holland of White Bluff died Monday, March 15, 2004 at Vanderbilt Hospital. He was born in Lebanon on August 1, 1965. He was a security officer with Tennessee Patrol and Security.
Survivors include his father, James Dwight Holland of Hermitage; his mother, Charlene Stewart of Smithville; his wife, Wendy S. Holland of White Bluff; son, Clayton Dwight Holland of White Bluff; daughter, Amber Michele Holland of White Bluff; brother Jeffrey Lynn Holland of Mt. Juliet who is currently serving in the U.S. Marines in Iraq; sister, Mary Stewart of Smithville; ten nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Massey and paternal grandparents, Duard and Opal Holland.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to a trust fund for his children at any NBC Bank.

Kitty Lee Simpkins (Christian)
Funeral services for Mrs. Kitty Lee Simpkins (Christian), 56, are 11 a.m. Friday, March 19, 2004 at the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home in Dickson with Bro. Calvin Parker and Miles Christian officiating. Interment icon will follow in the Forrest Hills cemetery in Ashland City,Tenn.
Mrs. Simpkins, a nurse with 30 years of service, died Tuesday, March 16, 2004 at her home. She was a member of the Demonbruen Society. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include her sons, James Christian and his wife, Ginger of Dickson, Miles Christian and his wife, Susan, also of Dickson, and Christopher Christian of Burns; one sister, Jimmie Lou Sanders and her husband, Glen of Joelton, Tenn.; grandchildren: Jeffrey, Kaitlan, Easton and Nolan; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was married to Louis Christian for over 20 years.

Melvin Glenn Crabtree
Funeral services for Mr. Melvin Glenn Crabtree, 61, were 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 16, 2004 at White Bluff Church of God of Prophecy with Rev. Jackie Searcy officiating. Interment icon followed in Middle Tennessee Veterans cemetery.
Mr. Crabtree of Dickson, died on Friday, March 12, 2004 in Dickson County Nursing Home.
Survivors include his wife, Delores Crabtree of Dickson; one son, Eric Kizer of McEwen; four daughters, Melinda Cathey of Dickson, April Claborne of White Bluff, Catrina Webb of Savannah, Ga., Christy McCartney of Stanardsville, Va.; two sisters, Frances Barber of Hendersonville, Tenn., and Ginger Johnson of Spencer, Wis.; and 11 grandchildren.
