Mary Lee Rochelle Stafford
TREZEVANT - Services for Mary Lee Rochelle Stafford, 93, will be at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 18 at Mt. Pleasant Church in Bradford with Bro. Dennis Beal officiating. Burial will be in Pilgrim's Rest cemetery.
Mrs. Stafford, widow of Jiles Edker Stafford, died Sunday night, July 15 at Baptist East Hospital in Memphis.
She was born October 10, 1907 in Trezevant to the late Susan Wilson Rochelle and Robert Rochelle. She was a member of the Landmark Missionary Baptist Church in Somerville.
Survivors include two daughters, Elsie Green of Whiteville and Grethel Herron of Hartford, Michigan; two sisters, Roxie Yeary of Cordova and Mildred Griffin of Memphis; a brother, Talamadge Rochelle of Frayser; and five grandchildren.
Two sons also preceded her in death, Billie Stafford and Phillip Stafford.
Visitation will be at Brummitt Funeral Home in Trezevant from 5:00-9:00 p.m., Tuesday and 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

Martha Andrews Rochelle Blow
TREZEVANT - Services for Martha Andrews Rochelle Blow, 86, were at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, July 5 at Brummitt Funeral Home in Trezevant. Burial was in McLemoresville cemetery.
Mrs. Blow, former owner of City Cafe in Trezevant and retired employee of HIS, died Tuesday afternoon, July 3 at NHC Healthcare in Dickson.
She was born October 23, 1914 in Trezevant to the late Emma Argo Rochelle and Byron Rochelle. She was the widow of William Thomas Blow and a member of First Baptist Church in Trezevant.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews.

W. C. Clark
McKENZIE - Services for W. C. Clark, 78, were at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 11 at Brummitt Funeral Home with Bro. Vance Rushing officiating. Burial was immediately following the service at Everett's Chapel cemetery.
A retired equipment operator for Spinks Clay Co. in Gleason, Mr. Clark died on Monday, July 9 at his home of heart failure.
He was born April 29, 1923 in Henry to the late Vertie Elmira Sneed Clark and John Samuel Clark.
Survivors include a daughter, Sylvia Ellis and a son, Ricky Clark, both of McKenzie; six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife Ethel E. Harris Clark.
Brummitt Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Fonnie Wheeler
CEDAR GROVE - Services for Fonnie D. Wheeler, 95 were at 5:30 p.m. Sunday, July 15 at Reed's Chapel in Lexington with Bro. Alan Judd officiating. Burial was in Pleasant Hill cemetery in Cedar Grove.
Mr. Wheeler, a farmer, died Saturday, July 14 at his home of heart failure.
Survivors include two daughters, Demetrius Wheeler and Delinda Stewart, both of Cedar Grove; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
His wife, Dora Wheeler, preceded him in death.

Charles Anthony Gilbert
McKENZIE - Services for Charles Anthony Gilbert, 40, were at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, July 15 at Olivet Missionary Baptist Church in McKenzie with the Rev. Kevin Taylor officiating. Burial was in Mt. Olivet cemetery. Trinity Funeral Home in Paris was in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Gilbert died Thursday, July 12 at Methodist Hospital in McKenzie.
He was born October 14, 1960 to the late Charles Gilbert and May Neil Sneed Gilbert. He attended McKenzie High School and was employed by Southern Star Lumber Company for several years.
Survivors include a son, Charles Anthony King of McKenzie; four sisters, Claudia Sutton of Decatur, Illinois, Leda Gilbert, Ida Gilbert and Sonia Gilbert, all of McKenzie; four brothers, Bobby Sneed, John Gilbert, Timothy Gilbert and Bernard Gilbert, all of McKenzie, several nieces and nephews.

Joanne Campbell
HUNTINGDON - Mrs. Joanne Campbell, 62, died Saturday, July 14 at her home. Funeral services were conducted on Monday, July 16 at the Faith in Christ Church with Brother Wayne Burton officiating. Interment icon following in the New Independence cemetery.
Mrs. Campbell, the daughter of the late Martin and Phoeby Scott Sego, was born September 3, 1938 in Lexington. She was a sewing machine operator for New Generations and a member of the Faith in Christ Church. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, James Sego and Lee Sego; two sisters, Dorothy Sego and Louise Sego and a grandson, Christopher Collins.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Thomas L. Campbell; three sons, Tommy Campbell of Dyersburg, Jeff Campbell of Clarksburg and Ricky Campbell of Huntingdon; three daughters, Vicky McKinney of Huntingdon and Kay Lindsey and Barbara Rigsby, both of Dyersburg; two brothers, Robert Sego of Newbern and Jessie Sego of Lexington; one sister, Irene DePriest of Friendship; 16 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Dilday Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Claudine Kelly
CEDAR GROVE - Mrs. Claudine G. Kelly, 75, died Tuesday, July 10 at her home. Funeral services were conducted on Friday, July 13 at Leach Seventh Day Adventist Church with Brother Joe Shafer officiating. Interment icon followed in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Kelly was born February 12, 1926 in Carroll County to the late Rice and Ollie Kelly Grogan. She was a homemaker and a member of the Leach Seventh Day Adventist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Raymond Kelly; one son, Terry Allen Kelly of Jackson; one sister, Josephine Rigsby of Cedar Grove; one brother, Tommie Grogan of Cedar Grove; and two granddaughters.
Dilday Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Robert Eugene Matthews
HUNTINGDON - Mr. Robert Eugene Matthews, 62, died Friday, July 13 at the Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. Funeral services were conducted on Monday, July 16 at the Dilday Funeral Home Chapel with Brothers Lee Scott and Excail Burleson officiating. Interment icon followed in the Barren Springs cemetery.
Mr. Matthews, the son of the late J. B. and Zelma Forrester Matthews, was born November 16, 1938, in Missouri. He was a truck driver for United Transportation, a navy veteran, a member of the Huntingdon Elks Lodge and member of Barron Springs Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He was also preceded in death by two sons, David Matthews and Bobby Matthews and a brother, Charles Matthews.
He is survived by his wife, Earlene Matthews; five sons, Steve Matthews, Ronnie Matthews and Larry Matthews, all of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Brad Matthews and Brian Matthews, both of Huntingdon; four stepsons, Tim Rogers, Billy Rogers, Phillip Rogers, and Jerry Wayne Rogers, all of Tupelo, Mississippi; one sister, Joyce McNutt of Paris; 11 grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren and one great-grandson.

Evie Lee Taylor Williams
McKENZIE - Services for Evie Lee Taylor Williams, 90, will be at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 18 at Pilgrim's Rest Cumberland Presbyterian Church in McKenzie with Brother Aaron Holmes officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Williams, retired cafeteria worker for Bethel College and Little General, died Sunday night, July 15 at McKenzie Health Care Center.
She was born October 2, 1910 in Atwood to the late Pearlie Langley Taylor and Obie Taylor. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Avie Taylor and a half-sister, Ocie Chandler.
Survivors include her husband, Don Williams; three daughters, Lois Vaughn and Betty Scates, both of McKenzie and Debbie Williams of Nashville; two adopted daughters, Shelly Branch and Donna Dozer, both of Nashville; five grandchildren Bob and Danette LaBare of Henry, Cathy and Bill Hargrove of McLemoresville, Mike and Joan Vaughn of Nashville, Keith and Tracee Vaughn of Austin, Texas and Daniel Scates of Martin; nine great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be at Brummitt Funeral Home on Tuesday from 4:30-9:00 p.m. and Wednesday morning until the funeral.

James Mattox
Services for James Mattox, 80, were Saturday, March 30 at 2:00 p.m. at Brummitt Funeral Home with the Reverend Ron Harber officiating. Burial was in Hopewell cemetery in Medina.
Mr. Mattox, a retired farmer and merchant marine, died Thursday, March 28 at Methodist Hospital in McKenzie.
He was born October 31, 1921 in Chester County to the late Irene Mattox Hesseltine and Dave Mattox. He was a member of the Woodmen of the World and a World War II coast guard veteran.
Survivors include his wife Beula Mattox; two daughters, Sandra Johnson of Lexington and Barbara Hayes of McKenzie; three sons, Mike Mattox of McKenzie, Warren Welch of Florida and Jimmy Mattox of California; one sister, Dora Patrick of Arkansas; and four brothers, J. D. Mattox of Memphis, Hiluard Mattox of Missouri, Franklin Mattox of Florida, and David Mattox of Texas; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Also preceding him in death were a sister, Ruth Mattox and a brother, Claude Mattox.

William R. Brooks
MEMPHIS - Services for William (Bill) R. Brooks, 78, were at 2:00 p.m., Friday, April 5 at Memphis Funeral Home Poplar Chapel. Burial was in Memorial Park Southwoods cemetery.
Mr. Brooks, a retired teacher and coach at Bellevue Junior High School from 1953-1985, died Wednesday, April 3 at Primary Health Care.
He attended Bethel College and received his masters' degree from Vanderbilt University.
He was a retired major with the Tennessee National Guard and was a U. S. Army World War II veteran and a member of the Colonial Cumberland Presbyterian Church where he was an ordained elder.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Sunshine C. Brooks; a daughter, Leslie Bobbitt of Memphis; a son, Cole Brooks of Memphis; a sister, Juanita Finley of McKenzie; a brother, Bobby Brooks of Nashville and seven grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Bethel College or Colonial Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

Stella Mae Williams
HUNTINGDON - Mrs. Stella Mae Williams, 80, died Wednesday, April 3 at her home. Funeral services were conducted on Saturday, April 6 at 2:30 p.m. in the Chase Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Bill Goodpasture officiating. Interment icon followed in the Christian Chapel cemetery.
Mrs. Williams was born October 17, 1921 in Missouri to the late Fred and Vera Prater Pritchard. She was a member of the Huntingdon Church of Christ and a retired cook for the Carroll County Hospital. Her husband, Fred Williams, who died November 17, 1993 and one brother, James Pritchard, preceded her in death.
Survivors include two daughters, Elaine Moore and Mildred Stacy; one son, Dean Williams, all of Huntingdon; four sisters, Patricia Blankenship of Cedar Grove, Grace Redden of Milan, Wilma Newsome of Brownsville, and Gladys Hill of Medon; two brothers, Gordon Pritchard of Jackson and Charles Pritchard of Murfreesboro; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

David Bruce Robinson
HOLLOW ROCK - Mr. David Bruce Robinson, 77, died Sunday, April 7 at the Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, April 10 at 1:00 p.m. in the Huntingdon First Baptist Church with Bro. Fred Ward and Bro. Jimmy Allison officiating. Interment icon will follow in the Prospect cemetery in Hollow Rock.
Mr. Robinson was born January 22, 1925 in Carroll County to the late Clarence and Ruby Russell Robinson. He was a retired railroad worker of 42 years for L & N Railroad Company and was a member of the Huntingdon First Baptist Church. A brother, Wade Robinson, also preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Ruth Robinson; one daughter, Patricia Latham of Jackson; one son, Gary Robinson of New Johnsonville; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Chase Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
