Savannah -- Joel Wayne Pennington, 58, died Monday at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Shackelford Funeral Home with burial in Ledbetter cemetery in McNairy County. Mr. Pennington, the husband of Lula Mae Pennington, also leaves a daughter, Katrina Delaney, and a son, Joel Wayne Pennington Jr., both of Savannah; six sisters, Eunice Raggett of Mississippi, Alice Faye McNav, Pat Andello, Sandra Brown and Paula Lynn Downing, all of Memphis, and Betty Sue McDaniel of Little Rock; a brother, Charles Pennington of Nashville, and seven grandchildren.

Somerville -- Reola Adair, 87, homemaker, died March 10 at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Collierville. Services will be at noon Saturday at New Zion Missionary Baptist Church, where she was a mother board member, with burial in the church cemetery. J.A. Lofties Funeral Home has charge. Mrs. Adair, the widow of Thomas Jackson Adair, leaves a niece who helped care for her, Lola Lomax.

Marcille Aslin, 88, of Memphis and Brownsville, Tenn., retired civil service worker for Naval Support Activity Mid-South in Millington, died Wednesday at Bells Nursing Home. Services will be at 3 p.m. today at Memorial Park Funeral Home with burial in Memorial Park. She was a member of Berclair Baptist Church. Mrs. Aslin, the widow of Ray Aslin, leaves a son, Gary Aslin of Aberdeen, Miss.; two sisters, Katherine Simmons of Milan, Tenn., and Katie Evans of Smithville, Tenn.; a brother, Raymond Arnold of Florida, four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. The family requests that any memorials be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or a charity of the donor's choice.

Bobby Lynn Bass, 65, retired truck driver for Roadway Express, died Tuesday at his home. Services will be at 11 a.m. today at Coleman Family Chapel in Corinth, Miss., with burial in Campground Methodist cemetery in Tippah County, Miss. Mr. Bass, the husband of Jone S. Bass, also leaves a daughter, Katherine Rana Glaser of Memphis; a sister, Nan Rogers of Lancaster, Pa., and a grandchild.

Kenneth Dale Bingham, 72, of Sardis, Tenn., formerly of Memphis, receiving department employee of Kimberly-Clark, died Wednesday at Methodist North Hospital. Services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Leon Johnson Funeral Home in Henderson, Tenn., with burial in Lebanon cemetery in Hardin County, Tenn. Shackelford Funeral Home in Savannah has charge. He was an Army veteran, a Scottish Rite Mason, a member of Raleigh Masonic Lodge 770 and attended Sardis Baptist Church. Mr. Bingham, the husband of Joy McCollum Bingham, also leaves two daughters, Becky Ward of Lakeland and Beth McGoldrick of Memphis; a son, Keith Bingham of Memphis; a sister, Margie Medlin of Sardis; a brother, Hollis Bingham of Bartlett, and six grandchildren.

Mercel Milton Blackwell, 77, of Memphis, retired supervisor for the old Defense Depot, died Wednesday at Methodist University Hospital. Services will be at noon Wednesday at Friendship Baptist Church, where he was a deacon and trustee, with burial in West Tennessee Veterans cemetery. He was an Army veteran. Mr. Blackwell, the husband of Velma Jean Blackwell, also leaves a son, Mercel Milton Blackwell II, and a sister, Natalie Craft, both of Memphis, and a grandchild.

Terry James Bollinger, 58, of Germantown, manager for FedEx for 21 years, died Tuesday at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Collierville. Services will be at 5 p.m. today at Memorial Park Funeral Home. He was a transplant recipient and an organ donor. Mr. Bollinger, the husband of Mary Bollinger for 25 years, also leaves a daughter, Courtney Bollinger, and a son, Bryan Bollinger, both of Germantown; his parents, Walter and Mary Constance Bollinger of Malibu, Calif., and a brother, Roger Bollinger of Sacramento, Calif. The family requests that any memorials be sent to the Kidney Foundation.
