Funeral services for Mr. Obea Bain, age 92, of Mobile, AL, formerly Fayetteville, TN, who passed away Tuesday, July 25, 2006 in the Providence Hospital, will be conducted Saturday, July 29, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of the Gallant Funeral Home with Rev. Kirk Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Riverview Memorial Gardens. Mr. Bain was a native of Lincoln Co., TN, son of the late Acie & Myra Turner Bain, a shift supervisor, a member of the Kelso Cumberland Presbyterian Church and a WWII Army veteran. Along with his parents, Mr. Bain was preceded in death by his wife: Mamie Tucker Bain & 1 sister: Earlene Griffin. Survivors include his wife: Myra Bain of Fayetteville, TN; 1 son: Bobby Bain of Mobile, AL; 2 grandchildren: Jennifer Bain & John Thompson, Robert & Leigh Bain; 2 great grandchildren: Cailin Bain & Grant Thompson and 3 sisters: Maureen Quick of Fayetteville, TN, Druvicie & Norman Barrows of Chantilly, VA, Dorothy Swinford of Tullahoma, TN.
