Latham - Swaney (2004 November 22)
Penny Denise Swaney, daughter of Joe and Susan Swaney of Greenback, was united in marriage with David Alan Latham, son of Kathy Latham of Maryville, Oct. 16 at Grandview Baptist Church. The Rev. Scott White officiated.
The bride was escorted by her father.
Tammy Welshan of Maryville was maid of honor. Aleigha Welshan was flower girl and Riley Blair was ring bearer. Jama Latham kept the bride's book.
O.B. Harris of Maryville, grandfather of the bridegroom, served as best man.
A reception given by Carrie Harris and Kay Talbott was held at the church.
The couple are living in Maryville.
The bride is a graduate of Greenback High School and Tennessee School of Beauty. She works at The Hair Designers.
The bridegroom is a graduate of Heritage High School. He works at Townsend Elementary School and is also a horse trainer at Mockingbird Stables.

Phillips - Kincheloe (2004 November 22)
Kelly Jane Kincheloe, daughter of Gerald and Janie Kincheloe of Mt. Carmel, was united in marriage with Scotty Lynn Phillips, son of Wayne and Sharon Phillips of Rockford, July 24 at First United Methodist Church, Dandridge. The Rev. Dennis Robinson of Maryville officiated.
Escorted by her father, the bride wore a white satin gown featuring a hand - beaded, re - embroidered lace bodice. She carried a bouquet of red roses.
Melissa Emmette of Clinton was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Shannon Phillips of Maryville, sister - in - law of the bridegroom, Amye Hagood of Church Hill, cousin of the bride, and Toni Williams of Hampton, Va. Junior bridesmaids were Gracie Hagood and MaKenzie Hagood of Church Hill.
Haile Phillips, daughter of the bridegroom, was flower girl. Noah Botkin of Kingsport was ring bearer. Kayla Phillips of Maryville, niece of the bridegroom, kept the bride's book.
Vance Kirkpatrick of Maryville was best man. Groomsmen were Johnny Phillips of Maryville, brother of the bridegroom; Wes Kincheloe of McKenzie, brother of the bride; and Lon Fox of Maryville. Ushers were Corey Hagood of Church Hill, cousin of the bride, and Jonathan Phillips of Maryville, nephew of the bridegroom.
Program attendant was Casey Hagood of Church Hill, cousin of the bride.
After a wedding trip to New York, the couple are living in Louisville.

Marcus - Hearon (2004 November 22)
Megan Hearon, daughter of Linda and Cleon Hearon of Maryville, was united in marriage with Justin Marcus, son of Kermit and Linda Marcus of Maryville, Oct. 16 at Middlesettlements United Methodist Church. Joe Black and Randy Pasqua officiated.
Nuptial music was provided by Kelly Marcus, Emily Van Curen, David Wells, Jill Bond and Robby Clemmons.
Escorted by her father, the bride wore an ivory chiffon, empire - waist gown overlaid with sheer chiffon and accented with embroidery that extended onto the chapel - length train. She wore a finger - length veil of illusion with ivory cording and carried a hand - tied bouquet of terra cotta roses and eggplant - colored calla lilies accented with wheat and lamb's ear.
JJ Wells of Maryville was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Carrie Marcus, Shelly Webb and Rhonda Thomas, all of Maryville, and Kristi Allen and Larisa Chernish of Nashville. They wore dresses fashioned to resemble the bride's gown made of eggplant - colored casa crepe and overlaid with sheer illusion of the same color. They carried hand - tied terra cotta roses and lavender poms accented with coffeeberry, wheat and lamb's ear.
Leah Thomas was flower girl. Carson Wells was ring bearer. Candace Haile and Kati Kerr kept the bride's book.
Kermit Marcus of Maryville was best man. Groomsmen were Kelly Marcus, David Conner, John Falco and Whit Taylor, all of Maryville, and Patrick Chapman of Seattle.
A reception given by the family of the bride was held at the church. Assisting hostesses were the United Methodist Women.
After a wedding trip to Tibet Island, the couple are living in Maryville.
The bride received an undergraduate degree in social work from Middle Tennessee State University and a master's degree in social work from the University of Tennessee. She is employed by the Knox County Sheriff's Office as a counselor at the correctional facility.
The bridegroom is a graduate of Middle Tennessee State University with a degree in industrial technology. He is employed with Hickory Construction as a project manager.

Smith - Hill (2004 November 22)
Brandi N. Hill, daughter of Vickie S. Hill of Knoxville, formerly of Maryville, was united in marriage with Nicholas H. Smith of Knoxville, son of Lynn and Tomah Smith of Washburn, Oct. 15.
The bride is a 2000 graduate of Maryville High School and a 2004 graduate of Maryville College with a degree in sociology and business. She is employed at Union Planters Bank as a financial service representative. She is the granddaughter of Rollie and Charolette Swafford of Rockford and Bruce and Wanda Hill of Maryville.
The bridegroom is a 1999 graduate of Washburn High School and a 2003 graduate of Maryville College with a degree in business. He is self - employed. He is the grandson of Ella Ruth Smith of Washburn, the late Bob Smith, Shirley McGinnis of Washburn and the late Luther McGinnis.

Reynolds - Pickle (2004 November 22)
Tracee Reynolds of Alcoa is engaged to marry Greg Pickle of Knoxville at 2 p.m. Dec. 11 at Sevier Heights Baptist Church.
The future bride is the daughter of Sheila Reynolds of Alcoa and the late Steve Reynolds. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dewey Reynolds of Ashburn, Ga., John Dent of Cordele, Ga., and the late Dorothy Dent.
The future bridegroom is the son of Robert and Amy Pickle of Knoxville and the late Judy Mynatt Pickle. He is the grandson of Marion and Mary Eleanor Pickle of Knoxville, Bill Mynatt of Knoxville and the late Evelyn Mynatt.
The bride - to - be is a 2002 graduate of William Blount High School. She teaches at Precious Lamb Preschool.
The bridegroom - to - be is a 2000 graduate of Bearden High School. He is pursuing a degree in accounting from the University of Tennessee.
