Dawn Michelle Kingsley, 42, of Liberty, passed away Saturday, July 7, 2012.

She was born May, 13, 1970 to her parents, Randy and Sandra Lynn Watson. She enjoyed gardening and growing flowers. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She cherished her time with her children and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Randy and Sandra Lynn Watson.

She is survived by her husband, Marvin Eiler of Liberty; children, Cameron Nelson Kingsley of Liberty, Christopher Paul Larson of Liberty, Curtis Michael Larson of Liberty and Desiree Larson Dalinger; grandchildren, Kylie Bree Frazier, Bradly Evan Leo Larson, Jordan Lyn Larson, Caydance Rain Larson, Ethan Dalinger, Hunter Dalinger, siblings, Rhonda Castilaw of Saratoga, Brad Watson of Anahuac, Cindy Joe Watson, Sheila Lois Watson, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Her family will receive friends at Faith and Family Funeral Services Chapel on Thursday July, 12, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. A service of remembrance is scheduled for Friday July 13, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Batson, officiated by Reverend Tolbert Hudspeth. Burial will follow at a private family cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Cameron Kingsley, Christopher Larson, Curtis Larson, Desiree Dalinger and Dawn Marie Fosness.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Faith and Family Funeral Services, 40847 HWY 105 E., Batson, TX, 77519, (936) 262-2100 or (936) 366-2222.

Taylor

Julia Mae Taylor age 89 died Tuesday July 10, 2012 in Houston with her beloved family by her side.

She was born in Liberty, September 22, 1922 the daughter of the late Leon Fregia and Nora Boudreaux Fregia. She enjoyed cooking for her family as well as traveling.

Julia was preceded in death by her husband James Morgan Taylor, daughter Emma Brewer, two brothers Marvin Fregia and Edgar Fregia, as well as a sister Shirley Holder.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, a daughter Mary Sellers and husband Jerry of Houston, son Eddie Taylor and wife Shirley of Damietta, a sister Wanda Mullins and husband Jerry of Longmont, CO. In addition she leaves her six grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

Visitation for Julia will be held Wednesday July 11, 2012 from 5-8PM at Allison Funeral Service, 1101 N. Travis Liberty, Texas with a funeral service to be held 2PM Thursday, July 12, 2012 at the funeral home with burial to follow in Guedry cemetery.

DeHoyos

Gabino DeHoyos, 66, of Dayton, TX, lifelong resident of Anahuac, TX died July 5, 2012 at San Jacinto Hospital in Baytown, TX.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend.

Gabino was a retired labor worker whom worked around asbestosis for many years leaving him depending on oxygen for many years.

He fought a long battle with his disease leaving behind his wife of 41 years Virtudes DeHoyos of Dayton, TX, daughter Laura DeHoyos and son Gabino DeHoyos Jr both of Dayton, his grandchildren Elexus, Luiz and Bianca Rodriguez of Dayton, and Gabriel Ramon and Mathew DeHoyos also from Dayton, brother Felipe DeHoyos and wife Maggie of Anahuac, TX Miguel DeHoyos of Sonora TX Anita Gonzalez and husband Elien of Ft. Worth TX, Socorro DeHoyos Lomas of Jimenez, Coah Mex, and lots of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 10:00 am at Proctor's Mortuary 518 Miller St. Anahuac, TX, Interment will follow in Jackson cemetery in Double Bayou, TX. A gathering of family and friends will follow after the funeral at The Double Bayou Community Building.

DeJohn

Mary Loraine Cashat DeJohn, 76, of Liberty died Saturday, July 7, 2012.

She was born August 2, 1935 in Liberty to parent Louis and Edia Duhon Cashat and had been a lifelong resident of the Dayton Liberty area. Loraine enjoyed working puzzle books and playing games on the computer.

Services for Mrs. DeJohn will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, July 12, 2012 at Palms Memorial Park cemetery with Rev. Mike Blackburn officiating. Interment will follow at Palms under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, Dayton. Visitation for Loraine will be 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Thursday before the service at the funeral home.

Loraine was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ernest DeJohn, her sons Leroy DeJohn and Jamie DeJohn, sister, Rosie Smikal, and brothers, Johnny Cashat and Junior Cashat. She is survived by her son: Randy DeJohn of Dayton; her daughters: Sandy Sanchez and husband Rogelio of Dayton, Betty Rayas and husband Juan of Dayton, and Brenda Weeks of Dayton; her sisters: Mary Schmidt and Lucy Pinkston; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren; numerous other relatives and a host of friends.

Fullwood

Chelsea Ann Fullwood, 17, of Dayton died Friday, July 6, 2012 in Liberty, Texas.

She was born November 19, 1994 in Abilene, Texas to parents Gary Lynn and Tracy Ann Kimbrell Fullwood. She had lived in the Colorado City and Dayton areas during the past few years. Chelsea enjoyed listening to music, drawing, taking pictures and doing all kinds of handcraft projects.

Services for Chelsea will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at Kenefick Southern Baptist Church with Bro. Jeff Day officiating. Also funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, July 14, 2012 at the Church of Christ in Roscoe, Texas. Interment will follow at Roscoe cemetery in Roscoe, Texas. Visitation for Chelsea will be 12:00 to 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents: Jacqueline Kimbrell, Seletino & Antonia Silva; her great-grandmothers: Irene and Raymond Fullwood, Peggy and Willie Phillips, Bunk and Chris Floyd; and her cousin Aiden Grace Kimbrell. She is survived by her mother and step-father: Tracy and Russell Antonucci of Dayton, Texas; her father and step-mother: Gary and Anita Fullwood of Big Spring, Texas; her brother: Jarrett Fullwood of Dayton; step-brothers and sisters: Matthew Eric Arellano, Adrian Lee Arellano, Felicia Monique Arellano, Adriana Jolene Martinez and Mia Preseas Silva; grandparents: Ted and Peggy Kimbrell, Jesse and Patty Fullwood, Russell and Joanne Antonucci,; close friends: Alexus Wallace, Ronnie Jeane, Toni Diaz, Cory Thompson and Michael Cox and her companion “Meep”; also numerous other relatives and a host of friends.

Wuneburger

Debra Kay Johnson Wuneburger, 55, of Highlands, formerly of Dayton, died Friday, July 6, 2012 in Houston, Texas.

Debra was born October 13, 1956 in Houston, Texas to her parents, Harry Wilber and Mary Louise Hudson Johnson. She attended C.E. King High School and was a lifelong resident of this area. Debra loved being with her family, going camping and fishing.

Services for Debra will 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July14, 2012 at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Blackburn officiating. Interment will follow 1:00 p.m. at San Jacinto cemetery in Houston. Visitation for Debra will be 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Friday, July 13, at Pace-Stancil.

Debra was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Walter Wuneburger, sisters: Norma Jean Bryant, Tina Roundtree, Corrine Abbott, Linda Crockett, Velma Reed and Harriet Thompson; also brother: Bob Johnson. She is survived by her sons: Charles Lyons and wife Abby of Houston, Lynn Langley and wife Becky of Houston, and Jason Langley of North Carolina; her daughter: Misty Creel and husband Ricky of Highlands; sisters: Anita Cook and husband Tommy of Dayton, Geneva Sullivan of Dayton; brothers: Paul Moellenkamp of Houston, Dean Moellenkamp of Houston, Dale Moellenkamp of Houston, Jimmy Mollenkamp of Maine, eight grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

McGowan

James Macon McGowan (Buddy), 75, of Wallisville died on Thursday, July 5, 2012 at his residence with his family by his side.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, July 8, 2012 in the chapel of Sterling Funeral Home in Anahuac. Masonic services will be given at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Anahuac cemetery. A gathering of Buddy's family and friends will be from 10:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. on Sunday at the funeral home.

Buddy was the past Master of Anahuac Lodge 995 for six times, past Master of Old River Lodge 1442; past District Deputy Grand Master of Masonic District 107; member of Houston Shine Temple, member of Cedar Bayou Lodge 321; Baytown Shrine; Scottish Rite and past District Education Officer; Masonic Relations Officer and Training Officer.

Buddy was preceded in death by his parent, James McGowan Sr. and Josephine Herndon McGowan; son, James Gregory McGowan; brothers, Jerry Wilbur McGowan, Dink McGowan and; nephew, Little Jerry McGowan.

Buddy is survived by his wife of 52 years, Sandra Ferguson McGowan; son, James McGowan and Candy; daughter, Darlene Mitchell; grandchildren, Kelly Marie Henicke and Adam, Jamie McGowan; great-granddaughter, Abbey Marie Henicke; sister, Marjorie Cunningham; brother, Frank R. McGowan and wife, Sue; and a host of other family and friends.

Patrick

Dorene Louise Aldridge Patrick, 89, of Liberty died Saturday, July 7, 2012 in Houston, Texas.

She was born March 16, 1923 in Douglass, Texas to parents Dock Cornelius Aldridge and Addie Thompson Rogers Aldridge. Mrs. Patrick graduated from Nederland High School and had lived in Liberty since 1976. She loved her family and enjoyed sewing, reading and crocheting.

Service for Mrs. Patrick will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at the First Baptist Church in Liberty with Rev. Ron Davis officiating. Interment will follow at Cooke Memorial cemetery under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, Dayton. Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at the First Baptist Church, Liberty.

Mrs. Patrick was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Lionel Aldridge and Bill Aldridge. She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Edward Lee “Pat” Patrick of Liberty; her daughter, Debbie Beasley and husband Dennis of Liberty; her son, Reginald Patrick and wife Linda of Liberty; her grandchildren, Patrick Beasley and wife Tiffany, Troy Beasley, and James Patrick; her great-grandchildren, Makayla Beasley and Kristen Beasley; numerous other relatives and a host of friends.

Traywick

Vernon Lee Traywick, 46, of Devers, Texas died Saturday July 7, 2012 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont.

A service of remembrance will be held Tuesday July 10, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. at First Baptist Church of Devers with Reverend Rick Edwards officiating. The family will be receiving friends also on Tuesday July 10, 2012 from 12:00 noon until time of service at the church.

Vernon was born April 24, 1966 in Conroe, TX to Lee and Jean Traywick and had lived in Devers, most of his life and was a Welder, and a member of First Baptist Church of Devers.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother Edna Jackson, and Vera Traywick also an uncle David Traywick.

Survivors are his parents Lee Traywick and Jean Traywick of Devers. Wife Patty Traywick of Devers, mother-in-law Sandra "Ma'am" Martin of Splendora. Daughters Colleen Traywick, Chelsi Traywick and husband Kevin Patterson both of Devers, brother-in- law Kenny Martin and children Thomas and Alizabeth Martin all of Splendora. Sisters Donna Traywick and husband Artie Hart of Devers, Cathy Jones and husband Anthony and daughters Cortney and Alisha Jones all of Devers. Grandchild Anthony Lee Davis Patterson of Devers and numerous nieces nephews and friends. Cremation handled under the care of Faith & Family Funeral Services of Batson. Pallbearers are Joseph Rayon, Seth Traywick, Luke Hughes, Darrin Traywick, Tevin Mouton, Fabian Galvan, Kenny Martin. Honorary pallbearers are Anthony Jones, Artie Hart, Kevin Patterson, Wayne Traywick, Robbie Traywick, Keith Lee, Kent Bautsch, Steve Bautsch, Todd Rayon, Wade Rayon, Roland Rayon, Les Williams, Ryan Hall, Jimmy Jackson.

Jackson

John “Drew” Jackson, Sr., 91, peacefully passed away Friday morning, July 6, 2012 in Baytown, Texas.

Drew was born September 12, 1920 in Dayton, Texas to parents, Calvin Pope and Sarah Olive Conner Jackson. He was a life long resident of Dayton where he graduated from Dayton High School and continued his education at Massey Business College.

He proudly served in the United States Navy as an aviator and flight instructor during World War II. He worked for Humble Oil & Refining Company and retired from Exxon Chemical after 45 years of service.

Drew was a member of the First Baptist Church of Dayton where he served many years as church clerk and a member of the Dayton Masonic Lodge #825. He was former President and board member of the Dayton ISD School Board and a member of the Magnolia Ridge Country Club. He had a great love for his family, playing bridge, golfing, the Astros, camping throughout the West, and fishing at Day Lake where he and his family built many wonderful memories. He was a kind-hearted and good-natured, generous and loving man.

Services for Drew will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, July 9, 2012 at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dale Hill officiating. Interment will follow at Magnolia Park cemetery.

The family will receive friends 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Sunday evening at the funeral home.

Mr. Jackson was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 64 years, Betty Jo Westmoreland Jackson, sisters, Jo Valle Phillips and Janet Ott, and his brother, Clyde Perry Jackson, Sr.

He is survived by his daughter, Rachel Jackson of Alexandria, Virginia; his son, John Drew Jackson, Jr. and wife, Melanie, of Baytown; his grandchildren, Sarah Jackson and fiancé, Taylor Fama, of Baytown, Kathleen Wheeler and fiancé, Joe Kurzejeski, of Nashville, Tennessee, and Alexa Jackson of Baytown; one great-grandchild on the way; also numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.

Battles

Taylor Nicole Battles age 18 of Liberty, died suddenly Tuesday July 3, 2012.

Taylor was born June 9, 1994 in Baytown the daughter of Jason Battles and Nicole Johnson Gray. She loved music and singing, a member of choir at Liberty High school, she had a great personality. One to never meet a stranger, she was the light in many lives, and a joy to be around.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her mother Nicole Gray and step-father Billy of Liberty, father Jason Battles and step-mother Hillery of Crosby, sisters Ciera Gray of Liberty and Zandra Battles of Crosby, maternal grandparents Paul and Brenda Hope of Liberty, paternal grandparents David and Tonya Tompkins of Crosby. In addition she leaves behind numerous, aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of friends.

Visitation for Taylor will be held Sunday July 8, 2012 from 5-8PM at Allison Funeral Service, 1101 N. Travis Liberty, Texas.

A funeral service will be held 2PM Monday July 9, 2012 at the funeral home.

Clapper

Jeannie Monroe Clapper, 85 of Anahuac died on Tuesday, July 2, 2012 at Kindred Hospital Baytown. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, sister-in-law and friend.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, July 7, 2012 in the chapel of Sterling Funeral Home in Anahuac. Interment will follow in Anahuac cemetery. A gathering of Jeannie's family and friends will be on Friday, July 6, 2012 from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Jeannie was preceded in death by parents, Newton E. Zartman and Frances Monroe Briggs. She lived in Anahuac since 1963. She attended Wildwood Community Church in Bowser, B.C. Canada.

Jeannie is survived by her husband, Russell W. Clapper; sons, Rob Clapper and wife, Georgia of Anahuac, Douglas Clapper and wife, Lena of Aztec, NM; grandchildren, Rob R. and wife, Melissa, Tom and wife, Amy, Matt and wife, Darleen, Stephanie and husband Marc, Chris and wife, Heather and great-grandchildren; Jacob, William, Kade, Gunner, Ryann, Caitlyn, Corey, and Chandler; and a host of other family and friends.
