Cortege leaving son's residence 82 St David's Close, Spennymoor TODAY Friday, September 17 for a service at St. David's Church, Tudhoe Village at 9.30 a.m., followed by committal at Durham Crematorium. Friends please meet at Church. No flowers by request. Donations in lieu if desired to "Lothian House Resident's Fund", Clyde Terrace, Spennymoor.

THOMPSON September 11 (suddenly at home), of Trimdon Village. Diane, aged 67 years, dearly loved wife of Bill, much loved mam of Carole, loving nanna of Martin and Lisa, also a devoted great-nanna of Luis and Sophie. Funeral to take place on Friday, September 17. Would friends please meet at St. Mary Magdalene Church, Trimdon Village for service at 10.00 a.m., prior to cremation at Durham Crematorium.

CHAD September 22 (peacefully after a short illness), of Darlington. Baby Matthew John, aged 3 months, beloved son of John and Tracey. COOK Saturday, September 18 (peacefully in hospital). Ivy (formerly of York), widow of the late Don, mother of Donald, dearest friend of Allan, a much loved sister to Dorothy. Will be sadly missed by the family. Funeral service to take place on Monday, September 27 at 10.15 a.m. in Darlington Crema-torium.

CRAGGS (nee Wood) September 21 (peacefully in hospital). Edith, aged 85 years, of Dalkeith House, Darlington, beloved wife of the late Fred, a dearly loved mother to Valerie, David, John and Julie, devoted mother-in-law, a treasured nana and great-nana, also a much loved aunt and great-aunt. Funeral Friday, September 24. Would friends please meet 10.15 a.m. for service in St. John's Church, Darlington, followed by interment in the West Cemetery.

DAVISON Stan, aged 85 years, of Middleton Tyas, died peacefully in hospital on September 16. Dearly loved husband of Marion and a much loved father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Funeral service in St. Michael and All Angels Church, Middleton Tyas, today, Friday, September 24 at 10.00 a.m., followed by cremation. Friends please meet at the church. Donations, in lieu of flowers, for the National Kidney Federation, are being accepted by John Blenkiron and Sons Ltd., 21 Queens Road, Richmond, DL10 4AJ.

DIXON Irene (nee Coatsworth) Formerly of Manor Grove, Cockfield. Died peacefully at her daughter's residence in Leeds on Monday September 20. Dearly loved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Trevor, aged 66 years, beloved husband of Hilda, dearly loved father of Kim and Craig, stepfather of Paul, Michael and the late Lawrence, loving grandad of Andrew, Ian and Jack and dear brother of Charles and Ann. Dorothy, in her 103rd year, beloved wife of the late John Henry (Harry), dearly loved mother of Betty (Holton) and much loved nana of Elizabeth. A celebration of her life will be held in All Saints' Church, Hurworth on Thursday at 10.15 a.m., followed by private cremation. Friends please meet at Church.

Colin, aged 72 years, loving husband of Winnie, dearly loved dad of John, Pat, Heather and Kevin, dear father-in-law of Geoff and Carol and a dearest grandad. Friends please meet for service in St. Thomas' Church, Stanhope on Monday, September 27 at 11.30 a.m., followed by interment in Crosshill Cemetery.

FENWICK John Ralph, of Winston, peacefully in hospital on September 16, beloved husband of Betty, dearly loved father of David, Janet, Martin and Simon, much loved step-father of Helen and son-in-law of Joan, also a dear father-in-law, loving grandad, dear brother of Tom and brother-in-law of Norma. Friends please meet for service in St. Andrew's Church, Winston on Wednesday, September 29 at 11.00 a.m., followed by a private cremation. Family flowers only. FOSTER Lesley Elaine September 15, suddenly at home. Elaine, aged 56 years, dearly loved daughter of Edna and the late Les Porter, beloved mother of Matthew and Mark and loving grandson Jay. Service and cremation took place at Teesside Crematorium St Bede's Chapel Today, September 24 at 1.30 p.m.

Dearly loved dad of Andrew, Lynsey and Victoria, dear grandad of Joshua and Alisha, beloved son of Beryl and the late Miles, much loved brother of Paul and sister-in-law Rachael, niece Paige and a dear nephew of Tommy, Eileen and Isabel. Sadly missed by all. Would friends please meet for service at St. Mary's Church, Chester-le-Street on Thursday September 23, at 1.30 p.m. Cremation at Durham to follow at 2.30 p.m. Family flowers only. Jacqui (nee Wood), aged 41 years, of Kirk-levington, dearly loved wife of Ken, loving mam of Ashleigh, Callum and Nathan, loved daughter of Avice and the late Howard, stepdaughter of Rob Melville, dear sister of the late Anne. HADRICK On September 23 (of Aycliffe Village). Thomas (Tom), aged 90 years, beloved husband of Ida and loving uncle of Leonard, Keith and Mary. The funeral service will take place on Wednesday, September 29 at 2.00 p.m. in St. Andrew's Church, Aycliffe Village, prior to interment in the churchyard.

HALSEY Peter and Maye A memorial service will be held to give thanks for the lives of Peter (died July 18, 2004) and Maye (died January 18, 2002) on Sunday, October 3, 2004 in St. Mary's Church, Richmond at 2.00 p.m. Peter's ashes will then be interred with Maye's following the service. All those who would like to join family and friends will be very welcome to attend.

HARKER On September 17 (peacefully in hospital after a difficult illness bravely borne), of Shepherds Lodge, Arkengarthdale. Elsie, aged 82 years, very dear wife of the late James Harker, dearly loved by sons Denys and Derek and also Hilda. Funeral service to be held at St. Mary's Church, Arkengarthdale on Tuesday, September 21 at 2.00 p.m., followed by private interment in the churchyard. Family flowers only please, however, donations in lieu, if so desired, may be given in memory of Elsie for church funds. Will relatives and friends please meet at the church and accept this intimation.

HEAL Jenny September 17, peacefully at her daughter Janice's home. Jenny, in her 78th year, dearly loved wife of the late Jack, precious mam of Janice and the late Jennifer, dear mother-in-law of John and Dave, much loved nana of Zoe, Ian, Shaun and also great-grandchildren. Cortege to leave Jenny's residence Nicholson Way Flats on Friday at 12.50 p.m. Service of Thanksgiving at Thornley Methodist Church at 1.15 p.m., followed by cremation at Durham. Keith, aged 70 years, dearly loved husband of Mary, much loved father of Margaret and Michael, dear father-in-law to John and Vivienne, a devoted grandad, also dearest uncle of John, June and family.
