Funeral service at Richmond Methodist Church on Thursday February 3 at 10.45 a.m. followed by private cremation. Friends please meet at the church. Family flowers only please, if desired donations may be given on the plate in the church for Richmond Methodist church funds.

BILES Marion (nee Harker) aged 71 years (suddenly) January 22, late of Park Hill and Bowburn. Beloved wife of the late Ken and dearest mother of Jacquelyn and John, most cherished daughter of Ruth and the late John, darling sister and best friend of Jean and Tom and a very special grandmother, mother-in-law and auntie. Will be very sadly missed by all her family. Funeral will be held on Friday January 28, 12.30 p.m. at West Road Crematorium, Newcastle.

BINKS Newton Aycliffe January 21 (passed away after a long and happy life). Marjorie, aged 80 years, beloved wife of the late William, dear mother of David Binks and Valda Myers, also a dear mother-in-law, grandma and great-grandma. Funeral Friday, January 28. Would friends kindly meet for service at Darlington Crematorium Chapel at 11.15 a.m., prior to cremation.

BOLAND January 20 (peacefully), of Cambridge Street, Leeholme. Wilf, aged 89 years. Beloved husband of Eva, a truly wonderful dad of Kevin and Pam, a dearest dad-in-law of Anne and Alex, a dearly loved grandad of Melanie, Craig, Gavin and Andrew, also a dear great-grandad of Hayley and Bradley. Will friends please meet for service at Durham Crematorium Chapel on Saturday at 9.30 a.m.

BOOCOCK On January 27, peacefully in hospital, of Newton-le-Willows. Eva, aged 88 years, much loved wife of Edwin, dearest mam of Valerie and Janet and a dear mum-in-law, gran and great-gran. Funeral service and interment at St. Patrick's Church, Patrick Brompton on Wednesday, February 2 at 1.00 p.m. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to be shared between Church Funds, Crohns Research and the Friarage Hospital (plate in church). Friends please meet at the church.

BOOTH Harry On January 20 (suddenly at home, after a short illness). Harry, aged 78 years of Sedgefield, son of the late Alf and Mary, brother of the late Madge and a much loved uncle. Funeral service to take place on Friday, January 28 at 1.15 p.m., at St. Edmund's Church, Sedgefield, prior to interment at Sedgefield Cemetery. Friends please meet at church. Fred, aged 90 years, a dearly loved husband of Mary, dearest dad of the late Margaret, dad and father-in-law of Dee and John, a loving grandpa, great-grandpa and great-great-grandpa. Service in St. David's Church, Tudhoe on Friday, January 28 at 12.15 p.m., followed by cremation at Durham Crematorium. Friends please meet at Church.

CALVERT William (Bill) January 21, suddenly at home (Fenby Avenue), after a long illness, aged 63 years. Beloved husband of Susan and a much loved father of Christine, Billy, Angela, Marilyn, John, Caroline and Colin, devoted grandfather and great-grandfather, loving father-in-law, brother, brother-in-law, uncle and friend to many. Arrangements to follow.
CALVERT William Colin (Bill) January 21. The funeral service will take place on Monday January 31, at 1.00 p.m. in St. John's Church, prior to cremation at Darlington Crematorium. Refreshments afterwards at The Lascelles. A great man who will be greatly missed.

Gary, aged 43 years, dearly loved husband of Julie, a much loved dad of Kris, beloved son of Margaret and the late Maurie, a dear son-in-law, brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and nephew, also a dear friend to many. Will friends please meet for service in St. Luke's Church on Monday, January 31 at 12.10 p.m., followed by private cremation for family and close friends at Durham. Suddenly, but peacefully in hospital, beloved daughter of the late Thomas and Elizabeth Clough, dear sister of Janet, treasured aunt of Jacqueline, Barbara and the late Andrew, great-aunt to Liam, also much loved niece and cousin. Funeral at St. Patrick's R.C. Langley Moor on Wednesday at 10.00 a.m. followed by interment in Meadowfield Cemetery.

COOKSON On January 27, peacefully in hospital, of Green Crescent, Coxhoe. Elsie, aged 85 years, dearly loved sister of Margaret and Wilf and will be sadly missed by all her loving family and friends. Cortege to leave residence on Wednesday, February 2 at 2.20 p.m. Friends please meet for service St. Mary's Church, Coxhoe 2.30 p.m., followed by interment in the churchyard.

Thomas Edmund (Tommy), aged 85 years, beloved husband of the late Amelia, devoted dad of Geoff and the late Anne, dear father-in-law to Sue, also a much loved and loving granda to Matthew.
