TINGLE February 21 (peacefully in hospital), of Blue Nile Way, Catterick Garrison. Percy, aged 82 years, beloved husband of the late Marjorie, a dear dad of Kevin and Derrick, also a devoted grandad. Funeral Friday, March 4. Will friends please meet for service 10.45 a.m. at St. Cuthbert's Church, Colburn, prior to cremation at Darlington Crematorium. Floral tributes, if so desired, to Co-operative Chapels of Rest, Memorial House, 50 St. Cuthberts Way, Darlington.

Jennifer (nee Mell), aged 65 years, beloved wife of Douglas, dearly loved mother of Kevin and Nigel, mother-in-law of Penny and Tracey, loving grandma of Matthew, Sophie, Adam and Francesca, also dear sister of Irene. Funeral Monday. Friends please meet for service at St. Matthew and St. Luke's Church at 11.00 a.m., followed by private cremation.

WALKER February 20 (in hospital), of West Chilton Terrace, Chilton. Amy Louise, aged eight days, much loved daughter of Kevin and Tracey and a dear sister. Would friends please meet for service in St. Clare's Church, Newton Aycliffe at 1.30 p.m. on Monday, February 28, followed by interment in Chilton Cemetery.

WALLACE February 20 (peacefully, after a long illness). Bernard, aged 70 years, of Egton Way, Darlington. Much loved husband of Ruth, much loved dad of Debbie. WALTON February 18 (suddenly at home), of Shadforth. Leslie, aged 82 years, a Design Engineer at Cole's Cranes and Oxford Street Engineering. Dear husband of the late Peggy and sadly missed by much loved son Chris and daughter-in-law Margaret, a dear grandfather to Kristine and Paul and a great-grandfather to Poppy Margaret. Would friends please meet for service at St. Cuthbert's Church, Shadforth on Friday, February 25 at 12.40 p.m., prior to cremation at Durham Crematorium.

WHEATLEY February 19 (peacefully in hospital), of Gilesgate, formerly of Moorsley. Pat, aged 76 years, much loved husband of Joan, a dear father of Joseph, Peter and Kevan and father-in-law to Avril, Denise and Tracey, also a much missed grandfather to Joanne, Christopher and Mark. Would friends please meet for service at Durham Crematorium on Friday, February 25 at 9.30 a.m. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu, if so desired, to the Alzheimers Society. Plate provided at crematorium.

WILKINSON February 22 (after a short illness, peacefully in hospital), of Linden Court, Spennymoor. Colin, aged 62 years. Beloved husband of Madge, a dearly loved dad of Julie and Andrew, a much loved granda of Chloe and Jack and a loving brother of Jean, Val and Linda, who will be greatly missed by all. Would friends please meet in St. Andrew's Church, Spennymoor, Monday for a service at 2.00 p.m. followed by interment in York Hill Cemetery.

WILLMORE Tom (Mathematician), died peacefully on Sunday morning, February 20, 2005, in Durham. Beloved husband, father and friend. Funeral on Monday, February 28 at 11.45 a.m. in Durham Cathedral, followed by committal at Durham Crematorium at 1.00 p.m. Family flowers only. Donations, in Tom's memory to support Studentships in pure mathematics to, 'University of Durham Willmore Fund', University of Durham, P.O. Box 43, Durham, DH1 3YA. All friends welcome for refreshments at St. Mary's College, Elvet Hill Road, Durham afterwards.

WILLS Richard Fraine Aged 79 years on February 17, in Hull Royal Infirmary. Beloved husband of Mary and father of Enid and Helen, father-in-law of Tony and Neill, grandad of Joanne, Anthony and Mandy, great-grandad of Bethany Jane. Funeral service was held on Wednesday February 23, at St. Augustine's Church, Kirby - In-Cleveland prior to interment in church yard.

Kenneth Harold, aged 65 years, dearly loved husband of Laureen, much loved dad of Stephen, Deborah and Kay and also a much loved grandad and great-grandad. Would friends please meet for service at St. Andrew's Church, Spennymoor on Thursday at 9.15 a.m., followed by cremation at Durham.

Edith (nee Ashford), aged 86 years, beloved wife of the late Mick, dearly loved mother of Edith and Michael, a dear mother-in-law of Jack and Gloria, also a devoted nana, great-nana and great-great-nana. Friends please meet for service Thornley Methodist Church on Tuesday at 12.15 p.m., followed by cremation at Durham. Refreshments afterwards at Crossways Hotel.

ADLINGTON Jean Helen (nee Parker). Suddenly, but peacefully at home, Wednesday March 9, 2005, aged 60 years. Beloved wife of Wally, loving mum of Sue, Chris, Ali and Bruce and a loving gran. Funeral service to be held Wednesday March 16, at The Parish Church of St. Peter and St. Paul, Stokesley at 12.30 p.m. followed by cremation. No flowers by request. Donations in lieu if so desired to, The National Kidney Research Fund, Kings Chambers, Priestgate, Peterborough.

Bob, aged 70 years, formerly of Hadston, South Broomhill and Morpeth, much loved husband of Margaret, dear dad of Susan and Sarah, devoted granda of Lauren, Jenna and Lewis and father-in-law of John and Paul. Funeral Friday, March 11. Would friends kindly meet for service in All Saints' Church, Hurworth 10.45 a.m., prior to cremation at Darlington Crematorium 11.45 a.m. Family flowers only please. Rhoda Ann (Nancy), aged 97 years, beloved wife of the late Rolie, devoted mother of Freda, dear mother-in-law to the late Tony, also a much loved and loving grandma of Ian and Mark. Cortege will leave her daughter's residence at 12.20 p.m. on Tuesday, March 15. Will friends please meet in Escomb Saxon Church at 12.30 p.m., followed by cremation at Durham. Family flowers only. ATKINSON On March 3 (tragically), of Reeth and formerly of Faggergill, Arkengarth-dale. Valerie, aged 70 years, dearly loved wife of the late Enoch, very dear mam of Yvonne, Jacqueline, Garry and Alison, much loved by Elizabeth and Lawrence and a very loving grandma. Funeral service to be held at Reeth Congregational Church on Monday, March 14 at 1.30 p.m., followed by private interment at St. Mary's Churchyard, Arkengarthdale. Family flowers only please. However, donations in memory of Valerie, if so desired, may be given at the service for The Yorkshire Air Ambulance and Church Funds. Will friends please meet at the church and accept this intimation.

Norman, aged 93 years, beloved husband of the late Win, dearly loved father of Norma and the late Ken, father-in-law of Barrie and a much loved grandad of Louise and Sarah. Funeral Monday. BARKER Brian Richard, aged 60 years, formerly of Richmond, died suddenly in hospital in Sydney, Australia on March 10. Dearly loved husband of Lesley, much loved dad of James and Sarah, beloved son of the late Tom and Annie Barker, loving brother to Trevor and Nigel, dear brother-in-law to Shelagh and Christine and uncle to Emma, Justin, Richard and Andrew. Will be sadly missed and always remembered by his family and his many friends in Richmond.

BARRON Newton Hall, formerly of Gilesgate. Peacefully in hospital, on March 9, aged 89 years. Martha, a devoted wife of the late Robert, a much loved mother of Pat and Joan, loving grandmother of Joanne and Jason and great-grandmother of James and Nina. Martha will be sadly missed by all her loving family and friends. Friends please meet at Durham Crematorium on Monday, March 14 at 3.00 p.m. for service prior to cremation.

BARTHRAM On March 4, peacefully at her daughter's in Edinburgh, formerly of Hutton Rudby. Edna, in her 100th year, dearly loved wife of the late Dick, loving mother of Bill and Elspeth and a dear grandma and great-grandma. Funeral service to be held in All Saints' Church, Rudby, 9.30 a.m. on Saturday, March 12, prior to cremation. Family flowers only. Donations, if wished, may be given for church funds.

BARTRAM On March 4 (peacefully in hospital after a long illness), of Northallerton. George Christopher, aged 82 years, former Manager of Northallerton Co-op Furniture and Hardware Department. Dearly loved husband of Audrey, loving father of Anne, father-in-law of Dave and dearest grandad to Sarah and Christopher. Private family cremation.

Bonita (Nita, nee Knight), aged 58 years, a dearly loved partner of Graham, a much loved mam of Mandy, Debbie and Kelly, a dear mother-in-law of Tony, Mike and Keith, a loving nana to Lewis, Matthew, Emma, Connor and newly born Ciaran and a loved sister of Jen and Dave and aunty to Kim, Zoe and Morgan. Would friends please meet in Byers Green Methodist Chapel, Thursday for a service at 2.10 p.m., followed by committal at Durham Crematorium.
