Oneida St. Knights of Columbus service 6:30 p.m. today at the funeral home. Wake service 7 p.m. today at the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the church. Survivors include his wife, Charlotte; one son, Daryl (Donna) Hronek; one daughter, Cheryl Kazik; four grandchildren; two brothers, Raymond (Gwen) Hronek, Manitowoc, Richard (Patricia) Hronek, Green Bay.

Thomas Coyle Kerrigan Sr.
Thomas Coyle Kerrigan Sr., of De Pere, died of natural causes Tuesday, June 15, 2004, in a local hospital. The son of the late Thomas O. and Mary Ann (Coyle) Kerrigan was born June 18,1910, in Green Bay. Mr. Kerrigan attended Marquette University and St. Norbert College. He married the late Dorothy Beno on May 18, 1935.

Mr. Kerrigan was a former reporter and photographer for the De Pere Journal-Democrat and the Marinette Eagle-Star. In 1956, he joined the Supreme Office of the Knights of Columbus in New Haven, Conn. He was Director of Council Accounts prior to his retirement in 1975. He was a Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus, Past Grand Knight of KC Council 719 in Marinette and KC Council 5780 in Madison, Conn.,, and Past Financial Secretary of KC Council 3955 in De Pere.

Mr. Kerrigan is survived by five of his seven children: Judith Ribbens, Green Bay; Michael (Gail) Kerrigan, Hoffman Estates, Ill.; Claire Champeau; Patrick Kerrigan of New York City; and Thomas C. (Nancy) Kerrigan, Jr. of North Providence, R.I.. Other survivors include a son-in-law, John D. Giovannini of De Pere; 13 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two daughters, Kathleen Giovannini and Jane Kerrigan; two grandsons, John and Jacob Ribbens; and one great-grandson, Joshua Ribbens.

Friends may call at Old St. Joseph Church on St, Norbert Campus, De Pere, from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, July 30. Memorial Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated at 11 a.m. with the Reverend Xavier Colavecchio, O. Praem., officiating. Private interment in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Ryan Funeral Home and Crematory of De Pere is assisting the family with arrangements. Lucile Rehder
Lucile Rehder, 93, De Pere, died Monday, July 26, 2004, at a local hospital. She was born April 20, 1911, in Green Bay to the late Walter and Marie (Christensen) Rehder. Lucile was a secretary for Standard Oil Company for 37 years, retiring in 1973.

Survivors include her sister, Elaine Rehder, De Pere; and niece, Carol (Jon) Poppy, Green Bay. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Mildred and Genevieve; and one brother-in-law, Nels Nelson.

Friends may call after 1 p.m. Thursday at Bethel Lutheran Church, 1350 Bond St., Green Bay, where the funeral service will be at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Gary Froseth officiating. Burial in Ft. Howard Memorial Park. Lyndahl Funeral Home is assisting the family. The family would like to thank the staff of Rennaissance for the years of care given to Lucile and the staffs of St. Mary's ER, Heart Cath Lab, and ICU for their outstanding care.

Survivors include her husband, Lee; five children, Lori (Rocklyn) Kay, Hartford, Julie Van Laanen, Dean (Sondra) Van Laanen, Dale (Wanda) Van Laanen, all of Green Bay, Mark Van Laanen, Beloit; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; her father and stepmother, Gordon and Tee Kellner, Green Bay; one brother, John (Nancy) Kellner, Little Sturgeon; one sister, Linda (Robert) Dickie, Green Bay.

Brigitte L. Rothe
Brigitte L. Rothe, 83, of Allouez died Thursday July 22, 2004. She was born in Berlin, Germany, to Dr. Gotthard and Anne (Meyer) Fliegel.

As a young woman, Brigitte trained and worked as a professional photographer. During World War II, while seeking refuge in the German-Swiss border town of Garmish, she fell in love with Clarence Rothe, an American soldier serving as an army surgeon. After their marriage, they settled in Green Bay to establish her husband's medical practice. As she raised her growing family, Brigitte continued her interest in photography and created many wonderful wedding albums, family portraits and landscapes. Brigitte was an excellent cook, loved gardening, flowers, music, traveling and her dog Shasta. She was a woman of tremendous style, with a sense of adventure that was admired by many who knew her.

She is survived by six children and 12 grandchildren. Kristina Rothe (Green Bay) and her children Emily, Nathan and Nikolas. Michael Rothe (Washington D.C.), Monika Fiedler (Eau Claire), her husband Dr. Thomas Fiedler and their children Adam, his wife Sara, Greta and Kristina.Dr. Peter Rothe (St. Paul) his wife Dr. Gail Amundson and their children Aaron, Karl and Julia. Stephen Rothe (Milwaukee) his wife Kathy and their children Andrew and Claire. Jonathan Rothe (Milwaukee) his wife Karen and their daughter Silvia.

Brigitte is preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Rothe M.D., and two granddaughters Brigitte and Jenna. Friends may call from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Monday July 26, 2004, at Saint Matthew Catholic Church 130 Saint Matthew St. Service of Remembrance 11 a.m. at the church with the Rev. Larry Seidl officiating. Burial at Allouez Catholic Cemetery. A memorial fund will be established for Brigitte's favorite charities.

Schauer & Schumacher Funeral Home and Cremation Services (432-4841) is assisting the family.

Mary Jane (Jeannie) Sherlock
Mary Jane (Jeannie) Sherlock, 80, Green Bay, died peacefully Thursday, July 22, 2004, at Woodside Lutheran Home. Mary Jane was born Dec. 22, 1923, in Green Bay, the daughter of the late John and Grace (Devroy) Bruyninckx. She graduated from West High School in 1942 and retired from Moore Business Forms. Mary Jane loved a good joke and had a hearty laugh which everyone enjoyed. She will be dearly missed.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Sherlock in 1991.

Friends may call at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 211 N. Maple Ave., from 9 to 10 a.m. Monday. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the church. Burial will be in Fort Howard Memorial Park. Special thanks to the staff of Woodside Lutheran Home for their care and concern.
