Joseph Lee Hall
Joseph Lee Hall, age 86, of Buckhannon, WV died Saturday, May 28, 2011 at his home under the care of Peoples Hospice of Clarksburg, WV. He was born August 29, 1924 in Upshur County, WV, a son of the late Arthur Lee and Cora Lee Gallaher Hall. On April 8, 1950 he married Virginia Ann Miller who preceded him in death on April 29, 2009. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by one brother, Edwin Hall; one half brother, Harry J. Hall; one half sister, Alice Wentz and two sisters, Mary L. White and Evelyn M. Karickhoff. He is survived by one son, Joseph S. Hall and wife Janet K. of Buckhannon; one granddaughter, Ellen J. Foster and husband Travis of Barboursville, WV; one grandson, Jacob Scott Hall and wife Elizabeth of Buckhannon; one great-grandson, Jackson Foster and one great-granddaughter, Madeleine Hall. Mr. Hall was a Superintendent for LaRosa Fuel Company. He was a member of the Bethany Baptist Church of Hall, WV and served in the US Navy during WW II. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Joseph's name to the charitable organization of your choice. Poling-St.Clair Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Howard Mason 'Muscles' Harris
Howard Mason 'Muscles' Harris, age 79, of Buckhannon, WV died Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at his home. He was born September 30, 1931 in Century # 1, WV, a son of the late George W. and Nellie Lee Cunningham Harris. On February 23, 1953 he married Anna Louise McDaniel who preceded him in death on July 30, 1980. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by one son, Howard Timothy Harris; seven brothers and four sisters. He is survived by one daughter, T. Renee Snyder and husband Lynn of Buckhannon; two grandsons, Robert Harris of Hawaii and Ryan Snyder of Fairmont, WV; three granddaughters, Sloan Ireland and husband Mark of Buckhannon, Kara Black and husband Ricky of Philippi, WV and Shauna Snyder of Clarksville, TN; three great-grandsons; one sister, Mazie Constable and husband Joe of Grafton, WV and a niece, Nancy Kuniya of Grafton. Mr. Harris served in the US Army during the Korea Conflict. He was a coal miner for Beth Energy. He was a member of the following organizations, Franklin Lodge # 7 AF & AM, Chapter # 18 Order Eastern Star, Chapter # 34 RAM, 32nd Degree Scottish Rite Mason, Osiris Shrine of Wheeling, a Past President of Upshur County Shrine Club, a member of the Red Fez Patrol of Philippi, VFW Post # 3663, Frank B. Bartlett Post # 7 American Legion, Buckhannon Moose Lodge # 598 and a member and Past President of Local Union # 4172 District # 31. Friends will be received Friday, June 17, 2011 from 2-5 & 6-9 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 2 PM on Saturday, June 18, 2011 at the funeral home with the Rev. Rodger McCormick officiating. Burial will follow in the Upshur County Memorial Park in Tennerton, WV. Buckhannon VFW Post # 3663, Frank B. Bartlett Post # 7 American Legion, DAV Chapters # 5 & # 36 will conduct Military Honors at the graveside. Franklin Lodge # 7 AF & AM will conduct Masonic Graveside Rites. In lieu of flowers contributions, may be made to the Shriners Hospital, 1645 West 8th Street, Erie, PA 16505. Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Jeremy Ian Hall
Jeremy Ian Hall, age 28, of Moundsville, WV died Wednesday, November 30, 2011 in Moundsville. He was born May 18, 1983 in Charleston, WV, a son of Ronald Flip Hall of McHenry, IL and Amy Hamman Hall of Buckhannon. In addition to his parents, he is survived by one son, Jayden Hall of Greenville, SC; grandmother, Doris Hamman of Buckhannon; grandfather, Ronald Hall, Sr. of St. Albans, WV; one sister, Lyndsay Hall of Knoxville, TN; Fianc, Katreni Mackey of Moundsville; Uncles, David Hamman of Snowshoe, WV, Jeffrey Hamman of Bridgeport, WV, William Hamman and wife Diane of Cross Junction, VA and Les Hall and wife Mary of Doylestown, PA and two aunts, Catherine Waltz and husband Jerry of Ft. Lauderdale, FL and Stacy Nesselrotte and husband Preston of Madison, AL. Jeremy was a server for Subway Restaurant. He enjoyed the outdoors, traveling and spending time with family and friends. Friends will be received Saturday, December 3, 2011 from 12 Noon until 2 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 2 PM Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Richard William 'Bill' Hall
Richard William 'Bill' Hall, age 65, of Buckhannon, WV died Tuesday, January 10, 2012 at Monongalia General Hospital in Morgantown, WV. He was born October 7, 1946 in Buckhannon, a son of the late Richard Dick and Mary Kathleen Adams Hall. He is survived by one sister, Margaret Elaine Wright of Buckhannon; one nephew, Richard S. Wright and wife Gloria M. of Buckhannon; one niece, Leslie Wright of Buckhannon; three great nephews, Charles Chenoweth of Buckhannon, Christopher Chenoweth of Fairmont, WV and Nicholas Munro of Buckhannon and three great nieces, Jennifer Chenoweth of Absecon, NJ, Kara Chenoweth of Buckhannon and Mija Chenoweth of Dayton, OH. Bill was a salesman for Waste Management Corporation. A graveside service will be held 10 AM, Saturday, January 28, 2012 at the Buckhannon Memorial Park in Buckhannon. A memorial service will be held 11 AM, Saturday, January 28, 2012 at the Hodgesville Community Building in Hodgesville with a luncheon following. Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Matthew Steven Johnston
Matthew Steven Johnston, age 16, of Buckhannon, WV died Friday, February 5, 2010 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV. He was born October 2, 1993 in Buckhannon a son of Martha L. Stimson Johnston and Michael W. Johnston and wife Cathy all of Buckhannon; three sisters, Shannon Christoff of Weston, WV, Carmen Johnston of Morgantown and Heather Hughes of Weston; one brother, Michael Johnston, II of Buckhannon; paternal grandmother, Ethel Johnston of Holly Grove, WV; special grandmother, Margaret Riggs of French Creek, WV; several nieces and nephews and many wonderful friends. Matthew was preceded in death by paternal grandfather, Johnnie Johnston and maternal grandparents, Norman and Eunice Stimson. Matthew loved life and was loved by all. He was student at Buckhannon-Upshur High School, a member of the Buckhannon Alliance Church, FFA, BU Football and Baseball Teams. Friends will be received Sunday, February 7, 2010 from 2-9 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Monday at the Buckhannon Alliance Church with the Rev. Jack M. Bohman officiating. Burial will follow in the Heavner Cemetery in Buckhannon. In lieu of flowers contributions should be made payable to Mike Johnston and Martha Johnston c/o 1st Central Bank 14 North Locust Street Buckhannon, WV 26201. Contributions will be utilized to establish a scholarship fund for a member of the Buckhannon-Upshur Buccaneer Football Team. This fund is in memory of Buccaneer # 24 Matthew Johnston. Deborah A. 'Debbie' Moreland Harper
Deborah A. 'Debbie' Moreland Harper, age 53, of Buckhannon, WV died Sunday, January 6, 2013 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV. She was born September 23, 1959 in Warren, OH, a daughter of Rosemary Sandy Moreland of Buckhannon and the late Arthur Bennett Ben Moreland. In addition to her mother, she is survived by one son, Dustin Harper and wife Heidi of Buckhannon; one granddaughter, Hanna Harper of Buckhannon; one brother, Duane Moreland and wife Tina of Buckhannon; a niece, Jody Kuhn and husband Buddy of MD; a nephew, Michael Moreland and wife Brianna of Buckhannon; a great nephew, Remy Kuhn of MD; aunt, Doris Moore and husband John of Byesville, OH and other nieces, nephews and family. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by one brother, Benny L. Moreland. Debbie was a Home Care Aide. Friends will be received Wednesday, January 9, 2013 from 5-8 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 11 AM Thursday at the funeral home. Allen Burl Haymond, Sr.
Allen Burl Haymond, Sr., age 73, of Crawford, WV died Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at his home while under the care of Peoples Hospice. He was born September 29, 1939 at Ingo, WV, a son of the late William and Lottie Isenhart Haymond. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Ervin, Calvin, Claud and Ralph Haymond and one great granddaughter, Yesenia Rangel. He is survived by one daughter, Sherry Dirksen and fianc Abe Powers of Rock Cave, WV; two sons, Allen Burl Haymond, Jr. and Tim Haymond and wife Stephanie, both of Wichita, KS; three grandsons, Duwane Crites, Lance Gregoire and Zachary Haymond, all of Wichita; two granddaughters, Tara Rangel and husband Luis and Briana Haymond, all of Wichita; one great grandson, Yandal Rangel of Wichita; two sisters, Reba Riffle of French Creek, WV and Reva Thornton of Crawford and four brothers, Elmer Brooks Haymond and wife Norma of Buckhannon, WV, Roger Haymond and wife Irene of Rock Cave, Jerry Haymond and wife Joyce and Russell Haymond and wife Carol, all of Crawford. Mr. Haymond worked for the U. S. Postal Service as a mail truck driver. There will be no services at this time. Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Kaitlyn Jane Hamilton
Kaitlyn Jane Hamilton, age 17, of Tallmansville, WV, died Saturday, March 30, 2013 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV. She was born March 25, 1996 in Elkins, WV, a daughter of Cindy Beckner Hamilton of Tallmansville, WV and the late Donald Hamilton, Jr. In addition to her mother, she is survived by step father, Brian Barlow of Tallmansville; one son, Brody Hamilton; one brother, Donald Hamilton, III of Tallmansville; maternal grandfather, Marlin Beckner of Buckhannon; paternal grandparents, Don and Brenda Hamilton of Ellamore, WV and several aunts, uncles and cousins. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a maternal grandmother, Margaret Beckner and boyfriend, Dalton Shane Tenney. Friends will be received Thursday, April 4, 2013 from 5-7 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held 7 PM Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. J. Brody Wayne Hamilton
Brody Wayne Hamilton, age 2 Months, of Tallmansville, WV died Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV. He was born February 23, 2013 at Elkins, WV, a son of the late Dalton Tenney and Kaitlyn Hamilton. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Donald Hamilton, Jr., maternal great-grandmother, Margaret Beckner and paternal great-grandfather, Paul Tenney. He is survived by his maternal grandmother, Cindy Hamilton and Brian Barlow of Tallmansville; paternal grandparents, Rodney and Kathy Tenney of French Creek, WV; God Father, Donald Hamilton, III of Tallmansville; maternal great-grandfather, Marlin Beckner of Buckhannon, WV; maternal great-grandparents, Don and Brenda Hamilton of Ellamore, WV; paternal great-grandmother, Mildred Tenney of French Creek and paternal great-grandparents, Betty and Dannie Casto of Flemington, WV. Friends will be received Sunday, May 19, 2013 from 1-2 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM at the funeral home with the Rev. Ed McDaniels officiating. Naomi M. Harlow
Naomi M. Harlow, age 98, of Buckhannon, WV died Monday, November 18, 2013 at Valentine Personal Care Home in Elkins, WV. She was born September 28, 1915 in Falls Mills, WV, a daughter of the late Frantz and Verna Cobb Veith. On December 9, 1933 she married William Boyd Harlow who preceded her in death on January 16, 1996. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sons, Boyd Junior and Samuel Lee Harlow; one daughter, Linda Lou Harlow; five brothers, Okey, Oliver, Ray, Fred and Grant Veith and five sisters, Emma Tenney, Nora Black, Rosie Knicely, Vergie Hamilton and Ruth Martin. She is survived by two sons, James R. Harlow and wife Roxanne and Thomas L. Harlow and wife Brenda K. all of Buckhannon; two daughters, Mary Bell Lantz of Buckhannon and Martha Dotson and husband David of Tyler, TX; daughter-in-law, Karen Harlow of Buckhannon and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Mrs. Harlow was a homemaker and a member of the Adrian United Methodist Church. Friends will be received Thursday, November 21, 2013 from 5-8 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 2:30 PM Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Wease L. Day officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Olive Cemetery at Hinkleville, WV. Dessie Mae Herron Harris
Dessie Mae Herron Harris, age 86, of Buckhannon, WV died Thursday, January 9, 2014 at her home. She was born April 26, 1927 in Queens, WV, a daughter of the late Boyd and Pearl Loudin Herron. On October 4, 1947 she married Wilbur Bookie Harris who preceded her in death on February 11, 1979. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by one daughter, Delana Evans; six brothers, Leonard, George, Raymond, Lester, Ellis and Stewart Herron and two sisters, Violetta Herron and Opal Coberly. She is survived by four daughters, Marian Bailey and husband Bob of Volga, WV, Vonda Rice and husband Pete of Hodgesville, WV and Marcia Harvey and husband Dennis and Karla Harris all of Buckhannon; two sons, Dennis Harris and wife Sherry of Century, WV and Tim Harris and wife Katrina of Volga; grandsons, DJ and fianc Angie, Craig and wife Brenda, Bobby and wife Jonnie, Chris and wife Mollie, Aaron and fianc Tasha and Nic; granddaughters, Delana and husband Quinton, Brandi and husband Tommy, Collette and husband Jimmy and Kelley and husband Reggie; seventeen great-grandchildren; two brothers, Roy Herron and wife Charlene of Ivanhoe, VA and Elmer Herron of Spartansburg, PA; sister-in-law, Mabel Herron of Ashtabula, OH and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Harris was a homemaker and a member of the Heaston United Methodist Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and will be missed by all. Friends will be received Sunday, January 12, 2014 from 5-8 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 11 AM Monday at the funeral home with the Rev.
