Clifton Coleman, a former presser at a dry cleaning business, died Monday. He was 75.
Coleman was a resident of Prichard.
Survivors include five children, Karl Coleman, Geraldine Moore, Leona Harris and Willie Coleman, all of Mobile, and Orville Bibb of Tuscaloosa; four stepchildren, Robert Jones, Janie P. Etheridge and Charles Jones, all of Mobile, and Bettie Doss of Huntsville; two sisters, Juanita Burden and Thelma Coleman; 28 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 1 p.m. until the 1:30 p.m. service at Christian Benevolent Funeral Home on North Hamilton Street. Burial will be in Gethsemane North Cemetery.

William Donald Coleman Jr.
Saturday, August 27, 2005
William Donald Coleman Jr., a heavy equipment operator, died Thursday at his residence in Chunchula. He was 39.
Survivors include two daughters, Jamie Coleman and Ashley Coleman; and two sons, William Coleman and Donald Coleman, all of Georgetown; his mother, Wanda Howard of Turnerville; his father, Donald Coleman of Aiken, S.C.; two brothers, Michael Coleman of Aiken and Clarence Coleman of Turnerville.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Freeman Funeral Home in Citronelle, where the service is set for 10 a.m. Monday. Burial will be in Turnerville Cemetery in Turnerville.

Mavis Harper Fleming

Mavis Harper Fleming, a former key punch operator, died Thursday at a local nursing facility. She was 84.
Mrs. Fleming, a native of Greenville, Ala., was a resident of Mobile for more than 60 years.
She retired after 25 years as a key punch operator at the headquarters building at the former Brookley Air Force Base in Mobile.
Survivors include two daughters, Alice F. Sprinkle and Linda K. Fleming, both of Mobile; two sisters, Bertie B. Buck and Edwina McKinney, both of Chickasaw; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 10 a.m. until the noon service at Serenity Funeral Home on Old Pascagoula Road. Burial will be in Bay Minette Cemetery.

Louise Delores Johnsey
Saturday, August 27, 2005
Louise Delores Johnsey, a homemaker, died Thursday at a local hospital. She was 95.
She was a native of Indianapolis and a longtime resident of Mobile.
Survivors include her daughter, Maxine Clark of Mobile; and two grandchildren.
The service is set for 10 a.m. Monday at Serenity Funeral Home. Burial will be in Serenity Memorial Gardens.

Georgia Ann Williams Johnson

Georgia Ann Williams Johnson, a longtime school teacher, died Sunday. She was 54.
A native of Lamison, Ala., she was raised in Fargo, Ga., and was a resident of Mobile.
She taught school for nearly 30 years before retiring from Mobile County public schools.
A graduate of Blount High School, she received her bachelor of science and master of science degrees from Alabama State University.
She attended Truelight Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Kimberly Johnson of Mobile; her father and stepmother, L.B. and Patricia Williams of Cleveland; one sister, Alice Williams of Homerville, Ga.; four half brothers, Larry Williams of Virginia, Dennis Williams, Ray Williams and Roy Williams, all of Cleveland; her half sister, Terry Moore of Cleveland; and two grandchildren.
The wake will be today from 9 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral at Truelight Missionary Baptist Church, 2001 W. Main St. in Prichard. Burial will be in Gethsemane North Cemetery. Christian Benevolent Funeral Home on North Hamilton Street in Mobile is handling arrangements.

Haley Summer Nelson

Haley Summer Nelson was born and died Sunday in an area hospital.
Survivors include her parents, Michael Shane Nelson and Tina Marie Nelson; two brothers, Shane Nelson and Tyler Nelson; her sister, Kimberly Nelson; her paternal grandmother, Lillian Harmon; and her maternal grandparents, David and Lana Stokes, all of Coden.
Visitation is set for noon to 2 p.m. today at Radney Funeral Home on Dauphin Street in Mobile. A graveside service will follow at 3 p.m. in St. Michael's Cemetery in Coden.

Eugene Varrientos Jr.
Saturday, August 27, 2005
Eugene Varrientos Jr., an employee of Wal-Mart, died Thursday. He was 23.
Varrientos was a native of Mobile and a resident of Chunchula.
Survivors include his father, Eugene Varrientos Sr. of Citronelle; his mother, Naomi Dean of Comanche, Okla.; two brothers, Salvador Varrientos of Duncan, Okla., and Ron Varrientos of Comanche; two sisters, Elizabeth Varrientos and Rebecca Varrientos, both of Comanche; and his grandmother, Jesse Mae Sullivan of Eight Mile.
Visitation will be Monday from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral at Gilmer's Funeral Home on Zeigler Circle West. Burial will be in Wilmer Cemetery.

Glen Lenard Joiner
Saturday, August 27, 2005
Glen Lenard Joiner, a native and resident of Daphne, died Tuesday at a hospital in Fairhope. He was 39.
He was a lifelong member of St. Adorka's African Universal Church.
Survivors include his mother, Flora Smart; one brother, Markeith Smart; and one sister, LaShonda Williams, all of Milwaukee; and his grandmother and caregiver, Rosie M. Longmire of Daphne.
Viewing will be 9 a.m. today at St. Adorka's African Universal Church, 9351 Highway 64 in Daphne, with visitation from 10:30 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral. Burial will be in Jubilee Memorial Garden in Fairhope. Christian Benevolent Funeral Home on North Hamilton Street in Mobile is handling arrangements.
