Warren Gene Townsend, 74, of Fort Smith died Saturday, Jan. 1, 2005, at a local hospital.
Graveside service will b 2 p.m. Monday at Forest Park cemetery under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home of Fort Smith.

Danny Struble
HACKETT — Danny Struble Sr., 45, of Hackett died Friday, Dec. 31, 2004, at his home. He was retired from Stan Gray Construction of Pocola and was a member of Denver Street Baptist Church.
Graveside service will be 10 a.m. Monday at Valley View cemetery in Greenwood under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood.
He is survived by a daughter, Jessie Rhyne of Mansfield; three sons, Daniel and David Struble of Hackett and Ethan Struble of Hartford; his mother, Mary Struble of Hackett; his paternal grandmother, Grace Smith of Mountainburg; two sisters, Sue Phelan of Hackett and Linda Gothard of Greenwood; a brother, David Struble of Booneville; and five grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Charles Phelan, Terry Strozier, Stan Gray, John Blake, Richard Nichols and Manual Brasher.
The body may be viewed from 1 to 5 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Billy Kelton
Billy C. Kelton, 72, of Fort Smith, died Thursday, Dec. 30, 2004, in Fort Smith. He was a mechanic for J.D. Meyers Co., an Army veteran and lifetime member of Disabled American Veterans. He received three Bronze Stars. He was the widower of Verna Wade.
Funeral will be 1 p.m. Monday at Fentress Mortuary Chapel in Fort Smith with burial at U.S. National cemetery in Fort Smith.
He is survived by two daughters, Nancy Gregory of Van Buren and Nancy Mello of Vista, Calif.; two sons, Bill Kelton of Clinton, Okla., and Charles Kelton of Lavaca; a sister, Diane Chatman of Van Buren; three brothers, Ralph Kelton of Van Buren, Karl Kelton of Fort Smith and Dale Kelton of Bloomer; 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Larry and Robert Chatman, Jimmy Kelton, Kevin Mello, Stephen Hough and Steven McNeal.
The family will visit with friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Disabled American Veterans, 6200 Zero St., Fort Smith AR 72903.

Alta Muzingo
Alta M. Muzingo, 73, of Fort Smith died Friday, Dec. 31, 2004. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church and office manager for Children’s Case Management.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Smith with burial at Oak cemetery in Fort Smith.
She is survived by her companion, Roland Newton; four daughters, Donna Black of Hinesville, Ga., Diane Addison of Ukiah, Calif., and Denise Trewin and Patricia Nietzke, both of Fort Smith; a son, Charles Curtis of Emmett, Idaho; 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Robert and Ryan Keck, Jason and Cory Nietzke, Ron Glenn and Tom Back.

Verna Gable
LAMAR — Verna Beatrice Gable, 77, of Lamar died Thursday, Dec. 30, 2004. She was a retired factory worker and a Baptist.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel in Clarksville with burial at West Mount Zion cemetery in Hartman.
She is survived by four sons, Gerald Cable of Clarksville, Victor Hawkins and Earl Whitman, both of Boaz, Ala., and Robert Gable Jr. of Lamar; two sisters, Geraldine Oles and Loretta Porter, both of Clarksville; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Bobby Clark, Carl Porter, Dale Dabbs, Brian Crossno, Johnny Sanders and John Blackburn.
The family will visit with friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Ruby Brewer
MANSFIELD — Ruby Lea Brewer, 82, of Mansfield died Friday, Dec. 31, 2004, in a local nursing home. She was a homemaker and member of Freedom Baptist Church. She was the widow of Raymond Brewer.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Monday in Freedom Baptist Church with burial at Freedom cemetery under the direction of Martin Funeral Home of Waldron.
She is survived by a daughter, Joyce Ridenhour of Waldron; two sons, Edmond and Gene Brewer, both of Mansfield; a sister, Della Scantling of Waldron; five brothers, C.E. Hattabaugh of Lucas and Lloyd, Van, Howard and Bobby Hattabaugh, all of Mansfield; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Steve, Kenny, Jerald, Mitchell, Lance and Van Hattabaugh.
The body may be viewed from 4 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
The family will visit with friends from 4 to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Ruth Perkins
ALMA — Ruth Etta Perkins, 87, of Alma died Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2004, in a local nursing home. She was born March 24, 1917, in Lamar. She was a homemaker, member of Cumberland Presbyterian Church and the widow of Roy Perkins.
Funeral will be 11 a.m. Monday at Ocker Funeral Home Chapel in Alma with burial at Gill cemetery in Van Buren.
She is survived by four daughters, Nancy Kuhn of Muldrow, Susan Lewis and Jean Demustus, both of Alma, and Patsy Moore of Fort Smith; two sons, Carl Harmon of West Palm Beach, Fla., and John Harmon of Dyer; 18 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Cliff and Darren Beckham, Don Moore Jr., John Kuhn III, and Kevin and Keith Kuhn.
The family will visit with friends from 2 to 4 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Veryl Stricklin
COAL HILL — Veryl Bussey Stricklin, 57, of Coal Hill died Saturday, Jan. 1, 2005, in a Clarksville hospital. She was a park attendant for the Army Corps of Engineers at Piney Bay, worked at the Circle 64 store in Coal Hill and attended Coal Hill Baptist Church.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Coal Hill Baptist Church with burial at Hartman cemetery under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home of Clarksville.
She is survived by her husband, Elmer; two daughters, Jean Nagengast of Flint, Mich., and Irene Sisk of Coal Hill; a son, Jerry Stricklin of Coal Hill; two sisters, Beatrice Moelander of Huntley, Ill., and Bonita Bussey of West Dundee, Ill.; a brother, Tony Bussey of West Dundee, Ill.; and seven grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Billy Scarberry, Mike Guinnip, Ryan, Randy and Darrell Stricklin and Dustin Moffit.
The family will visit with friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Daryl Pack
MARIONVILLE, Mo. — Daryl Donovan Pack, 53, of Marionville died Friday, Dec. 31, 2004, in Springfield, Mo. He was born Jan. 19, 1951, in Charleston. He was the owner and operator of a fence company.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Smith Mortuary Chapel in Charleston with burial at Eubanks cemetery near Cecil.
He is survived by his wife, Sherry; a daughter, Leah Pack of Marionville; two sons, Christopher Pack of Marionville and Jason Pack of Verona, Mo.; two sisters, Martha Pack of Arkansas and Billie Ogle of California; three brothers, Bobby, Kenneth and Don Pack, all of Arkansas; and three grandchildren.
The body may be viewed today and Monday at the funeral home.
The family will visit with friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Ruby Morris
BOONEVILLE — Ruby Lucille Morris, 92, of Booneville died Friday, Dec. 31, 2004, in Fort Smith. She was a homemaker, attended Lakeview Pentecostal Church and was the widow of Dixie Morris.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Monday at Lakeview Pentecostal Church in Booneville with burial at Glendale cemetery near Booneville under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home in Booneville.
She is survived by three daughters, Christine Crenshaw, Sylvia Kilpatrick and Anita Tacker, all of Booneville; a son, David Morris of Booneville; four sisters, Elizabeth Sibers of McCrory, Polly Coley of Pumpkin Bend, Bonice Crenshaw of Booneville and Flora Rerrell of Grand Berry, Texas; 14 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Alfred Crenshaw, David, Jerry and Anthony Morris, Rodney and Brian Canada.
The family will visit with friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Charlene Long
PARAGOULD — Charlene Talley Long, 65, of Paragould died Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2004, at a hospital. She was born June 8, 1939, in Opal. She was a former cashier at Western Sizzlin Steak House and a member of the Assembly of God.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel in Rector with burial at Woodland Heights cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, Bobby; a daughter, Diane Wing of Barling; a son, Gene Long of California; seven sisters, Donna Edwards and Lottie Blackshear, both of Paragould, Dorothy Byrd of Fort Smith, Myrtle Ferguson and Louise Shelton, both of Rector, Rosie Modlin of Beebe and Margie Priest of California; a brother, Louie Cordell of Rector; and three grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Charlene Manckiy
GREENWOOD — Charlene Manckiy, 78, of Greenwood died Thursday, Dec. 30, 2004, at her home. She was the widow of George Manckiy.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Monday at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Smith with burial at U.S. National cemetery in Fort Smith.
She is survived by a daughter, Pam Manckiy of Pocola; a son, Johnnie Manckiy, Sr. of Greenwood; a sister, Ruby McLemore of Booneville; two grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.
The family will visit with relatives and friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Delia Brown
PEARLAND, Texas — Delia Brown of Pearland, Texas, died Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2004, in Pearland. She was born Sept. 7, 1959, in Fort Smith. She was a 1977 graduate of Pasadena High School, was an artist and writer and retired from the U.S. Marshals Service.
Graveside service will be 1 p.m. today at Mt. View cemetery in Hackett under the direction of Clayton Funeral and cemetery Services of Pearland, Texas.
She is survived by her mother, Dollie Brown.

Doyle Witherspoon
CLARKSVILLE — Doyle Witherspoon, 79, of Clarksville died Thursday, Dec. 30, 2004, at a local hospital. He was born June 22, 1925, in Norman, Ark. He was a graduate of Clarksville High School and the University of Arkansas, past president of the Clarksville-Johnson County Chamber of Commerce, a Navy veteran of World War II, president and chief executive officer of First Savings & Loan in Clarksville, and a member of Cherry Street Baptist Church and the Rotary Club.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Monday at Cherry Street Baptist Church in Clarksville with burial at Oakland cemetery under the direction of Hardwicke Funeral Home of Clarksville.
He is survived by his wife, Peggy; a daughter, Kay Schneider of Clarksville; a son, Mark Witherspoon of Little Rock; a brother, Paul Witherspoon of Conway; and four grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Patrick Park, Gary Smedley, Carroll Pruett, Gary Rhinehart, David Crockett and Darel Timmerman.
