Babin, Marcellus "Marc" Leon

Marcellus Leon "Marc" Babin, of Smyrna, passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2009, in Christiana Hospital. He was 76.

He was born on Aug. 25, 1932, in Beaumont, Texas, son of the late Darryl and Clintious Babin.

Marc served his country proudly in the USAF for 22 years achieving the rank of Staff Sergeant.

He enjoyed fishing, gardening, planting things and traveling.

Marc was a member of the VFW, Dover.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers.

He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Perdita (Pemberton) Babin; two daughters, Marcia Babin of Austin, Texas, and Lisa Babin of Dover; two sons, Harold Fisher of Florida, and William Fisher of Virginia; grandchildren, Keyla Andrews, Jeffrey Babin, Michael Williams, Carl Williams, Rahsaan Johnson, Dana Fisher, and a host of others; a nephew, Curtis Wallace and his wife Renee of Cheswold, Dion Pemberton, and Jamal Bridgeman; nieces, Sharon Wallace, Narzan Wallace, and Shanike Wallace; a sister, Barbara Jean Chapman of Portland, Ore.; two brothers-in-law, Franklin Pemberton and Dwight Pemberton, both of London, England; and a mother-in-law, Delores Pemberton of London. He will be sorely missed by all his family.

Services will be noon Tuesday, May 5, at Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, where friends may call one hour earlier. Burial will follow in the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Bear.

Iannarelli, Jr., Vincent F.

DOVER—Vincent F. Iannarelli, Jr. of Dover, died Tuesday, May 4, 2004, of natural causes in his home. He was 55.

Mr. Iannarelli was born on May 19, 1948 in Pawtucket, Rhode Island son of the late Vincent F. and Marie A. (Poirier) Iannarelli.

He had served 21 years in the United States Navy with the rank of Machinist Mate Chief E7. He had served several tours in Vietnam during the course of his Naval career.

After his retirement from the Navy, he pursued his education to become a computer programmer during which time he worked for several area businesses and also achieved his real estate license. Most recently he was employed with ClientLogic of Milford where he was working in data entry.

He is survived by his wife of 20 years Remedios Iannarelli, a sister Gail Lucas of Issaquah, WA, a brother Eugene Joseph Iannarelli of CA, twin nieces Leslie and Anna Iannarelli both of CA and a great grand niece Samantha Iannarelli of CA and his faithful Doberman Rusty.

Services with Navy honors will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday in the Delaware Veterans Memorial Chapel, Millsboro.

Arrangements are by Pippin Funeral Home, Wyoming.

Falarski, Linda L.

Linda L. Falarski of Smyrna, DE, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at home on Saturday, October 8, 2011.

She was 71.

Mrs. Falarski was born on October 9, 1939 in Cleveland, OH, the daughter of the late Louis and Edna Smith.

She was a homemaker.

Services and burial will be privately scheduled.

Maisano, John Joseph

John Joseph Maisano

Age 46, of Millsboro, DE, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, August 9, 2011 from injuries sustained from an auto accident.

Born in Wilmington, DE, John was the son of Fay (MacDonald) Maisano and the late Joseph A. Maisano. He was a graduate of Claymont High School. He worked as an auto mechanic at Matts Auto in Lewes for 10 years. Previously he worked for Quality Automotive for 15 years. He was a member of the AmVets in Long Neck.

He will be dearly missed by his wife of 19 years, Belinda M. (Carter) Maisano; his daughters, Kimberly, Heather, and Ashley, at home; his grandson, C.J. Carter; his mother, Fay Maisano; and his sister, Sheree Maisano, both of Millsboro. Also surviving are his father- and mother-in-law, Jim and Kay Griffin of New Castle, DE; his father-in-law, George Carter and his wife, Pat of Newark; his aunt and uncle, Diane and Richard Godwin of Wilmington; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends and family are invited to visitation on Monday, August 15th between 6 and 8 PM at Mealey Funeral Home, 2509 Limestone Road, Wilmington. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, August 16th at 1 PM at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 9th and DuPont Streets, Wilmington. Interment will follow at Gracelawn Memorial Park, New Castle, DE.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the American Cancer Society, 92 Reads Way, New Castle, DE 19720.

Insley, Robert W.

Robert W. Insley, 70, Beth Place, Dover, passed away Tuesday September 19, 2006 at KGH Bay Health Dover.

He was born on September 20, 1935 in Wilmington, DE to the late William and Florence Elliott Insley.

Mr. Insley graduated in 1953 from William Penn High School. He was Honorably discharge from the U S Army with the rank of SGT. He was in the Army reserves from 1953 to 1961. He was a member of UAW Local 435 and retired with 30 years do dedicated service with General Motors on Boxwood Road Wilmington. He also worked for WalMart in Dover from 1996 until his death. He loved all kinds of animals especially his cats Felix and Sunkist. He is preceded in death by his wife Margaret M. Insley in 1999.

He is survived by Son and his wife, Joseph and Lou Ann Insley of Smyrna, DE. Son and his Financee, Tracy Insley and Novella Butz of New Castle, DE. Daughter, Bridget Insley of Lewes, DE. 8, Grandchildren, 17, Great grand children, His Cats, Felix & Sunkist of home.

Remembrances Services will be held Friday 09/22/2006 11:00 AM at Trader Funeral Home in Dover, DE Burial will be at the Silverbrook Cem. Wilmington, DE

Friends may call one hour before the time of the service at the Trader Funeral Home in Dover.

The family request that memorial contributions be given to Kent County SPCA.

Robert J. Betty

Age 64, of New Castle, DE, passed away peacefully at Wilmington Hospital on Sunday, July 31, 2011.

Born in Wilmington, Bob was the son of Mary E. (Johnston) Betty and the late William F. Betty. He attended A. I. DuPont High School and was a former member of St. Joseph on the Brandywine Church. He worked in construction for Betty Brothers in his early years.

He will be dearly missed by his mother, Mary E. Betty of Ocala, FL; four brothers, William F., Jr. of Hockessin, Paul L., and his fianc? Bo Upton, both of Wilmington, Alexis S. and his wife, Letha, of Ocala, FL, and Gary M. and his wife, Lisa, of Hockessin; two sisters, Mary Alice B. Poch and her husband, Frank, of Wilmington and Caroline F. Teoli and her husband, Tony, of St. Louis, MO; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, and great great nephew.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Horizon House, Connections, and D.H.H.S. for the caring and kindness shown to Bob for many years.

In lieu of flowers any contribution should be made to Horizon House of Delaware and or Connections.

Funeral services will be private.

Miller, Dolores M

Dolores M. Miller, 83, of Georgetown passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday, June 11, 2011. Born in Granite City, Illinois, she was the daughter of the late Chester and Pearl Anna Davis Goudy, and was an only child. She was preceded by her husband of 49 years, the late Raymond A. Miller. She had seven children, and was devoted to her family. She loved to crochet, and sew and served for many years in the Mid-Sussex Rescue Squad. She was particularly fond of her years of service in the Foster Grandparents Program. She is survived by her children: Chere Riordan, and her husband Edward, of Millsboro; Susan Messick, and her husband Ted, of Millsboro; Barbara Layton, of Lewes; Deborah Miller, and her husband, Irvin Johnson, of Georgetown; Raymond "Jeff" Miller, and his wife Bonnie, of Wilmington; Patrick Miller, of Millsboro; and Stephen Miller, and his wife Beth, of Millsboro. She has 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren. She also has numerous extended family members and friends across the area. She also leaves behind her beloved canine friend, "Baby La." Friends will gather to celebrate her life on Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at the Watson Funeral Home at 211 S. Washington St., Millsboro, DE at 2:00 PM, with a viewing and visitation from Noon till 2 PM. Pastor Allen Miller will officiate. Interment follows at the Millsboro Cemetery. Flowers are welcomed, or for those wishing to contribute to a memorial in her memory, the family suggests the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company, Oak Orchard Road, Millsboro, De. 19966.
