Pastor Samuel Roger Ingram

Of Beeville, Texas, formerly of Frederica, died Friday, August 19, 2005 at Christus.Spohn Bee County Hospital, Beeville. He was 68.

Mr. Ingram was born on December 16, 1936 in Milford, son of the late Lionel and Iva Rogers Ingram.

He was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force.

Pastor Ingram started his ministry in Hurlock, Maryland at the Grace Baptist Church, were he remained for seven years. He and his family then returned to Delaware where he was the pastor of the First Baptist Church in Frederica for 23 years. For the past three years he was pastor of the Bible Baptist Church in Beeville.

Pastor Ingram's life was devoted to his savior, to his family and his church families. He enjoyed getting outdoors for long walks when ever he could.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Shirley Riggins Ingram; three sons, Keith P. Ingram, Craig S. Ingram and Kristen L. Ingram, all of Beeville; three sisters, Joan Failor of Lewes, Pearl Wilkins of Lincoln and Faye Graham of Milford and two brothers, Lionel Ingram of South Haven, Mississippi and Marvin Ingram of Lewes.

Friends may call from 6-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 23, 2005 at Rogers Funeral Home, 301 Lakeview Avenue, Milford.

Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 24, 2005 at the First Baptist Church, 4558 Bay Road, Route 1, Frederica.

Burial will be in the Milford Community Cemetery, Milford.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested contributions in memory of Pastor Ingram to the Bible Baptist Church, P.O. Box 247, Beeville, TX, 78104.

Combs, Desda M.

Desda M. Combs passed away Thursday, April 21, 2011 in her home surrounded by her loving family. She was 80.

Desda was born on April 20, 1931 in Pipestone, Minnesota, daughter of the late Emil and Alma (Bergman) Ilse.

She had worked in interior decorating.

Desda enjoyed playing cards, knitting, sewing, emailing and reading.

She is preceded in death by her husband William Combs on April 12, 2011.

Desda is survived by a son Rick Combs of Lawrence, KS, three daughters Ronda Courtemanche of Dallas, GA, Renee Combs of Aurora, CO and Robin Adkins of Dover, DE, grandchildren Jeremy Kline of Mableton, GA, Sara Combs of Seattle, WA, Patrick Courtemanche of Dallas, GA and Clyde and Johnathan Adkins of Dover, DE, great grandchildren Jesse, Justin and Jacob Kline of Waco, GA and Caden Kline of Mableton, GA, three siblings Ruth Britton of Peculiar, MO, Elva Hanson of Montevideo, MN and Dennis Ilse of Pipestone, MN.

Memorial service will be 9:00 am Tuesday, April 26 at St. John's Lutheran Church, 113 Lotus St., Dover, DE. Interment will be at a later date in Missouri.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the American Cancer Society, 92 Reads Way, Suite 20, New Castle, DE 19720-1633 or the American Heart Association, 200 Continental Dr., Suite 101, Newark, DE 19713.

Mary Lee Easter (Ignatowski)

Age 70 died Tuesday, October 8, 2002 in the Foulk Manor North Nursing Home after a long struggle with scoliosis and cancer.

Mrs. Easter was born in Wilmington September 22, 1932 to the late Frank and Margaret Eckert. She graduated from St. Elizabeth High School in 1950. Pahrump, NJ was her home for many years. She retired from the Department of Energy after working at the Nevada test site in Mercury NV. She moved back to DE to make her home with her niece, Sue Barry and her husband Rich of Millsboro. She was a member of St. Mary Mother of Peace Catholic Church. She enjoyed opera and especially loved old movies.

She was predeceased by her sister Norma Kulakowski; and her brother, Francis Eckert. She is survived by her "adopted children", her nieces and nephews, Rick Kulakowski and his wife Kathy of Newark, Sue Barry and her husband Rich of Millsboro, Karen Keller of Jacksonville, FL, Cyndy White and her husband, Gary of Milton, Dave Keller and his wife Josie of Forked River, NJ; many grandnieces and nephews as well as great grandnieces and nephews; her cousin, Pat Carter of Blain, PA; her aunt, Dorothy Huber of Elkton, MD; as well as other relatives.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial at St. Matthew's Church, 901 E. Newport Pike, Wilmington, DE 19804 onTuesday, October 15, 2002 at 10:30 am, where friends may call the church after 9:30 am. Interment will be in Cathedral Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in Mary Lee's memory to First State Hospice, 5193 Woodmill Dr., Wilmington, DE 19808 or to St. Matthew's Church.

William D. "Bill" Earl

Age 88, died Thursday, April 21, 2005 at Christiana Hospital.

William worked for Amico Chemical Co. in New Castle as a mechanic. He retired in 1981 after 20 years of service.

He was a member of St. Peter the Apostle R. C. Church He was also a member of the Bishop Monahan Council, AARP, and the Oil Chemical & Atomic Workers Local.

He was a WWII Veteran serving in the Europe & Japan Theatre 97th Infintry Division, 303 Regiment Intelligence and Recon. He served from 1943 to 1946.

William was preceded in death by his wife Rita B. Earl in 1971. He is survived by his sons, Michael A. Earl of Newark, and Kevin P. Earl of Ocean View, DE; his daughter, Patricia Ellen Earl of New Castle; and his sister, Marie G. Cadden of Jersey City, NJ.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial at St. Peter's R. C. Church, 521 Harmony St., New Castle, on Mon., Apr. 25th at 10 a.m. Friends may call at the Krienen Funeral Home, 34 West 6th St., New Castle, from 4 to 6 p.m. on Sun. Apr. 24th. Interment in Cathedral Cemetery, Wilmington.

Kathryn G. Eastburn

Age 80 of Wilmington, died Friday, July 26, 2002 in the Christiana Hospital.

Mrs. Eastburn retired from the DuPont Company in 1984, after 27 years of service. She was a Specialist 2nd Class in the Navy during WWII. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy V. Eastburn who died in 1996.

She is survived by her son, Robert L. Eastburn and his wife Beverly of Wilmington; her daughters, Carol Jenkins of Orlando, FL and Margaret Wagner of CA; 6 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends may call at the DOHERTY FUNERAL HOME, 3200 Limestone Road, Pike Creek on Monday evening, July 29, 2002 from 7-9pm. Funeral service and interment will be private.

Eannone, Nunzio P.

Nunzio P. Eannone Of New Castle, age 79, died Monday, August 18, 2003 peacefully at home.

Nunzio was a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII serving as a paratrooper in the Pacific Theatre. He attended Temple University. Nunzio worked as a service manager and television technician with Rawlins & Kincade, and also with Marcozzi Television retiring in 1986.

He was a member of the St. Peter the Apostle R.C. Church in New Castle.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Angeline Donah and Florence Saienni.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Joanna S. Eannone; his sons, Paul A. Eannone, and Michael D. Eannone and his wife, Cheryl; his daughter, Debra M. Ellis, all of New Castle; his brother, Ralph J. Eannone and his wife, Joanna of Wilmington; and 6 grandchildren, Samantha, Stephanie, Scott, Melissa, Gregory, and Jeremiah.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the service at 10 a.m. on Thurs., Aug. 21st at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cem., Bear.

Interment in adjoining cemetery.
