Thomas J. Barbetta, 70, Dover, passed away Thursday August 26, 2010 at his home with family at his side.
He was born on November 01, 1939 in Pottsville, PA to the late Angelo and Margaret Hagerty Barbetta.
Thomas was a quiet man who was devoted to serving God, his wife, family, church and country. Thomas had a special relationship with the Alliance of the Two Hearts that added to his faith and devotion. He was an active member of Dover Knights of Columbus, and an active member of Holy Cross Catholic Church as an usher and volunteer. Tom retired from the U. S. Air Force after 26 years of service then retired with the State of Delaware after 10 years as a inspector with the DMV.
Thomas was a loving and devoted husband and father. He is survived by his Wife of 47 years, Connie Barbetta of Dover, DE. Son, Michael Barbetta of Spring, TX. Son, Timothy Barbetta of, SD. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday 09/03/2010 10:30 AM at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Dover, DE Burial will be at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cem. in Bear, DE at 2 PM.
Friends may call Friday at 9 AM till time of Mass at the Holy Cross Catholic Church in Dover.

Cox, Howard
Howard Cox, 78, Ellendale Farm Dr., Rock Hall, passed away Thursday May 06, 2010 at his home.
He was born on September 07, 1931 in Willow Grove, DE to the late Lee and Grace Glanden Cox.
He and his wife were owners of H & E Farm Equipment in the Dover area for 42 years. They jointly owned B & C Equipment with friends Ranger and Twilla Bvehlu for 18 years. After retiring in 1996, he enjoyed a leisurely lifestyle along the Chesapeake Bay at his home in Rock Hall, MD. He found great joy in the outdoors activities, grass cutting, fishing and spending time with friends and former customers that he served. He is preceded in death by his wife Emma Rosengren Cox in 2009, sister, Mary Ellen Millman, and brother, Leroy Cox.
He is survived by Son, Jeff Cox, Daughter and her husband, Becky and Tom McVan, Brother, Allen Cox, Brother, George Cox, Brother, Robert Cox, Sister, Shirley Shane, Sister, Naomi Breazeale, Sister, Cindy Sanderson, Grandsons, Ryan Cox, Conor McVan, Justin Cox.

James "Jim Buck" Hurd age 40 of Dover, Delaware died on Friday, June 11, 2010 at Kent General - Bay Health, Dover.
He was born on August 11, 1969 to James and Deborah Blanchard Hurd.
He work for Voshell Bros. Welding and enjoyed fishing.
Also survived by a son James Lee Hurd of Dover.
A brother: Mark Wayne Hurd of Dover.
A life long friend Joanne O'Neall of Dover.

Mr. Bowden was a heavy equipment operator for many years. He was a U. S. Army veteran. He is preceded in death by two children, one brother, three sisters.
He is survived by Daughter, Patricia Ann Collins of Millington, MD. Daughter, Grace Ellen Hurd of Sandtown, DE. One Half Sister, 4, Grandchildren, 2, Great grand children.

Everett, William Danny
William Daniel "Danny" Everett, 53, Sudlersville Road, Clayton, passed away Thursday April 08, 2010 at Hartland Hospice Center Wilmington.
He was born on April 13, 1956 in Dover, DE to Louise Long Everett and the late George "Lee" Everett.
During Danny's career he owned, trained and drove standard bred race horses in the tri-state area while farming along side his father. He also worked for many years in the construction field. Danny will be remembered for his love of the family farm, going to the beach, playing his guitar and his love of baseball, and animals.
He is survived by his mother, Louise Long Everett of Clayton, DE. Sister and her husband, Terri Everett Timmons and Bruce Timmons of Clayton, DE. Brother and his wife, Charlie and Renee Everett of Lexington, KY. Brother and his wife, Chad and Lee Everett of Trappe, MD. Nephew and his wife, Earl and Shannon Timmons of Clayton, DE. Baker, Helen Nellie
Helen "Nellie" M. Baker, 92, Dover, passed away Monday October 18, 2010 at KGH Bay Health Milford.
He was born on November 15, 1917 in Elkton, MD to the late James and Ardella Biddle Mentcer.
Nellie was a homemaker, but had held several jobs in her earlier years and had worked at Richardson and Robbins Co., volunteered at Kent General Hospital for over 20 years, the Golden Eagle Shop of the Modern Maturity Center and Silver Lake Nursing Home. Helen was active in her church, Capital City Church of Christ and enjoyed her church family members immensely. She is preceded in death by her husband Edwin B. Baker, Sr. in 1986, a son Marion G. Baker and a daughter Millicent Margo Baker as infants and one brother and five sisters. Helen "Nellie" (Mom/ Mom-Mom) will always be remember by the SPARKLES that she wore in her hair-"HER ANGEL DUST !!.
He is survived by Daughter, Bontia Baggett of Wilmington, DE. Daughter, Barbara Hurley of Dover, DE. Son and his wife, Edwin B. and Nancy Baker, Jr. of Dover, DE. Brother, Robert E.
