Thompson, Robert G. "Jerry"
FELTON - Robert G. 'Jerry' Thompson passed away Monday, Oct. 18, 2010. He was 55. He was born in Chestertown, Md., to Louise Thompson and the late James Thompson.
Jerry Thompson worked for many years driving a truck. Later in life he became a trucking dispatcher for Win Transport.
Mr. Thompson loved to ride his Harley. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He absolutely loved his three dogs, Hope, Chick & Sarah, but he thought the sun rose and set with his daughter Rebecca. Mr. Thompson also felt it was his mission to spoil his grandson Darius.
Jerry was a very outgoing, happy, and friendly person. He had many friends and would drop whatever he was doing to be there when they needed help. He enjoyed life and would want everyone to celebrate his life and the memories you have of him. God saw you getting tired and the cure was not to be, so he put his arms around you and whispered come with me. With tearful eyes I watched you and saw you pass away, although I loved you dearly, I could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands at rest, God broke my heart to prove, he only takes the best. You were loved so much and will be missed.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Marsha Thompson of Felton; daughter, Rebecca Thompson Jack of Camden; sister, Faye Shahan of Harrington; and one grandchild, Darius Jack.
