RODRIGUEZ, Salvador `Sam` M., age 82, a native of Tampa, entered into peace Saturday, September 28, 2002. He was preceded in death by his son, Salvador S. Rodriguez. Sam will be deeply missed by his wife, Delfina (Ramos) Rodriguez of Tampa; daughter and husband, Nancy and Marco Stanley of Granville, Tenn.; grandson and wife, Sam and Julie Rodriguez of Tampa; granddaughte r and husband, Kim and Bob Roth of Glendale, Mo.; great-grandchildren, Bailey, Chloe and Alexa Rodriguez of Tampa; sister, Josephine Puerta of Tampa; brother-in-law and wife, George and Daisy Ramos of Tampa; and close family friends, Jane and George Miranda and Sylvia Castillo. Sam was a baseball player and avid golfer and will be deeply missed by his golfing partners, Case Castillo, Sonny Rodrigu ez, Frank Sabella, Bob Babis and Arkie Hernandez. He retired from both Robbins and Lindsley Lumber Company where he held a position in contractor sales. Sam was a decorated United States Army Air Corps Veteran and saw action in Normandy, France. WATT, Maurice (Hoke), died September 26, 2002 at his home in Tampa. He was 81. Born in Atlanta, Illinois, Maurice served in World War II, traveled the world and then settled in the Tampa area in 1957. A 30 year Air Force veteran, Maurice loved golf, creative drawing and local sports teams. Maurice will join his beloved wife, Betty, who died in 1998, at the National Veteran's Cemetery

DETTMAN, Rita `Bonnie`, age 64, of Elcho, Wis., died suddenly September 28, 2002 at her home. She was born July 10, 1938 in Chicago to the late Rudolph and Florence (Oncay) Slater. She married the late, Herbert W. Dettman, Jr. November 23, 1957 in Chicago. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, Elcho, Wis. Following marriage she lived in Chicago until moving to Elcho in 1962. She and her husband owned and operated Dettman's Auto Salvage. After her husband's death she continued to operate the business with her sons. Since 1977 she spent winters in Florida and in 1981 she received her G.E.D. in Tampa, Florida. She enjoyed playing keno and bingo. Bonnie was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose, VFW Auxiliary and a life member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aeries #3752 in Zephyrhills, Fla. She was named Sister of the Year and in 2002, Mother of the Year of Aeries #3752. In Elcho she was a member of Noetzelman-Boodry American Legion Auxiliary Unit #377. Bonnie was an avid supporter of the National Kidney foundation and an organ donor. KITCHEL, Clara, 91, resident of Sleepy Hollow Mobile Estates, Zephyrhills, Florida, passed away September 30, 2002. Sergio was preceded in death by his father in 1992. KLUNK, Frances Marie, age 75, of Brandon, died Monday, Sept. 30, 2002 at Univ. of Maryland Shock Trauma from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Born Aug. 11, 1927 in Catonsville, Md., she was the daughter of the late Emery and Stella Hughes Sapp. Twice married, she was the wife of Maurice W. Klunk and John A. Schmidt. Mrs. Klunk was the mother of John F. Schmidt of Westminster, Md., D. Bruce Schmidt of Finksburg, Md., and Judith D. Creamer of Brandon. She was the step-mother of Jacqueline Kennedy of Sykesville, Md., Russell Klunk of Finksburg and Joyce Dixon of Hampstead, Md. She is the sister of Mary Brenner of Baltimore and is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
