Lucinda Woolsey
Dale resident Lucinda Mae Woolsey died Thursday, April 25, 2002 at Professional Care Rehabilitation Center. She was 93.
She was a member of the Dale United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women's Organization.
She is survived by her daughters, Barbara Sue Dotson of Henderson and Sandra Kay Hudson of Bedford; two sons, James Edward Woolsey of New Carlisle and Robert Lee Woolsey of Dale; 14 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday, April 29 at the Fuller Funeral Home and Crematory, Dale Chapel with burial in Selvin Cemetery.
Deborah K. Williams
Former Warrick County resident Deborah K. Williams died Thursday, Dec. 26, 2002 at Perry County Memorial Hospital in Tell City. She was 47.
Debbie was born August 25, 1955 in Warrick County to the late Cecil and Thelma Munday Harper. Also preceding her in death were her aunt and uncle, Helen and Albert Harper, who helped raise her, and a son, Scott Rylan Williams, in infancy in 1986. She was a former manager at Wendy's in Evansville and was a 1973 graduate of Boonville High School. Debbie was a leader with the Mount Pleasant 4-H Club and an active 4-H volunteer during many activities.
Deborah is survived by her husband of 22 years, Marty Williams of Mt. Pleasant, Ind.; a son, Jason Williams of Mt. Pleasant; and three brothers, Ronald Harper, Sr. of Chandler; Ed Harper of Snellville, Ga., and Dennis Harris of Boonville.
Funeral services were Saturday, Dec. 28 at Huber Funeral Home-Cannelton Chapel, with burial in St. Mary Cemetery
in Tell City. Rev. William Carlisle officiated.
Memorial contributions may be made to Perry County 4-H Fairgrounds.
Bobby Grant
Evansville resident Bobby Louis Grant died Monday, Dec. 31, 2001 at his home of congestive heart failure. He was 62.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Joetta (Lane); three sons, Richard and Michael, both of Evansville, and Carlus of Newburgh; two sisters, Marteen Williams and Ruby Lynn, both of Evansville; two brothers, William of Evansville and Jesse of Newburgh; two grandchildren, Sean and Brooke Grant; and nieces.
Funeral services were private with burial in Bates Hill Cemetery
in Yankeetown. Browning Funeral Home handled arrangements.

Ed Underhill
Boonville resident Ed Underhill died Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2002 at Cypress Grove Rehabilitation Center in Newburgh.
Ed was a coal miner working 36 years and retiring from Lynnville Mine and was a member of the UMWA Local 9926. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and a member of the V.F.W. Post 3418 Father's Auxiliary and Boonville American Legion Post 200. He was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Ruth Garrison Underhill in 2000.
He is survived by two daughters, Sharon Orth of Boonville and Bonnie Strange of Sealy, Texas; two sons, Randal Underhill of Boonville and Daniel Underhill of Evansville; three sisters, Sara Hendren of Mooresville, and Myrtle Osborne and Gertrude Campbell, both of Boonville; eight grandchildren, Terri Campbell, Jeffery Orth, Randal Underhill II, Thomas Underhill, Jennifer Underhill, Eddie Strange, Leah Arnold and Lisa Wilson; 15 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Saturday, March 2 at Koehler Funeral Home with burial in Freedom Cemetery
near Boonville.
Dr. David Phillips officiated.
Charles F. Murphy, Sr.
Boonville resident Charles F. Murphy, Sr. died Wednesday, Dec. 25, 2002 at his home. He was 73.
Charles is survived by a daughter, Barbara Crump of Tennyson; two sons, Charles F. Jr. and Steven Murphy, both of Boonville; a sister, Lois Jones of Evansville; a brother, Cecil Murphy of Newburgh; five grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were Saturday, Dec. 28 at Koehler Funeral Home
Myrtle Jeffries
Boonville resident Myrtle M. Jeffries died Saturday, Dec. 29, 2001 at Southwind Healthcare in Boonville. She was 95.
She was of the Methodist Faith. During WW II she worked at Briggs and Servel where she worked on airplane wings as a riveter.
She is survived by a daughter, Wilma Young of Boonville; a grandchild, Curtis Ray Young; two great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, Jan. 2, at Koehler Funeral Home, Boonville Chapel. Rev., Honna Schoss officiated. Burial was in Maple Grove Cemetery
in Boonville. Memorial contributions may be made to Warrick County Council on Aging.
Albert Stockholm
Albert I. Stockholm died peacefully from cancer at home with his family by his side on Wednesday, May 8, 2002. He was 63.
Memorial contributions may be made to Deaconess/Ohio Valley Hospice Care at 600 Mary Street, Evansville, Ind. 47747.
Arrangements are being handled by Ziemer Funeral Home East Chapel.
Rev. Marvin Whisnant
Boonville resident Rev. Marvin Whisnant died Wednesday, June 12, 2002 at his home. He was 75.
He was a retired Baptist Minister and a World War II Navy veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth; two daughters, Patricia Whisnanat and Helen W. Fisher; three sons, Michael and Revs. Mitchell and Nathan; a sister, Beatrice Blanton; a brother, J.E.; and ten grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday, June 15 at Double Springs Baptist Church, Shelby N.C., with burial in the church cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
Thelma Hartmann
Newburgh resident, Thelma E. Hartmann died Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2002 at Woodlands Convalescent Center. She was 87.
She is survived by her daughter, Lynn Hartmann O'Daniel of Newburgh; grandchildren, Scott Hartmann O'Daniel; Brett Neel O'Daniel and
Carrie Christine O' Daniel; a great-grandchild, Brittany Nicole O'Daniel; and dear loved ones, Carolyn "Babe" Humphrey, Aline "Brownie Swain, Dr.. Thomas Topper, Stephanie Thiel and Chin-Mi Schroeder.
Funeral services were held Saturday, March 2 at Alexander Memorial Park Chapel of Remembrance with burial in Alexander Memorial Park.

Coriene Carroll
Evansville resident Coriene Carroll died Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2002 at the McCurdy Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center. She was 84.
She is survived by two grandsons, Fred of Indianapolis and Charles Jr. of Chandler and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Friday, Jan. 4 at Sunset Memorial Park Chapel with burial in the cemetery.

Rita Steinkamp
Former Evansville resident Rita Steinkamp, formerly of Leopold, died Thursday, Feb. 28, 2002 at North Park Nursing Center. She was 81.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Patrick Leo Steinkamp; one son, David W. Steinkamp of Chandler; one sister, Marguerite Rogie of Leopold; one brother, Francis Goffinet of Indianapolis; and a grandchild, Amy Steinkamp.
Funeral services were held Saturday, March 2 at Pierre Funeral Home and St. Agnes Catholic Church with entombment in St. Joseph Cemetery.

Dorothy Castle
Evansville resident Dorothy Castle died Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2002 at her home of a heart condition. She was 67.
Surviving are her husband of 48 years, David O.; a daughter, Donna Dill of Evansville; two sons, David of Evansville and Dale of Boonville; five sisters, Lois Caron of Florida and Ruby Cullman, Ethel Reeves, Louise Nickel and Linda Hook, all of Mount Vernon; three brothers, Jimmy, Eddy, and Ricky Howard, all of Mt. Vernon; five grandchildren, Denise Dill and Tina, Eric, Joshua and Jordan Castle; and a great-grandchild.
Funeral services were held Friday, Jan. 4 at Alexander Funeral Home with burial in Greenwood Cemetery
in Chandler.
