A resident of Roseland, he died at 8:29 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 11, 2003, at Veterans Administration Medical Center in New Orleans. He was 66 and a native of Loranger. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, having served in the U.S. Embassy in Pakistan. He lived and worked in the oil industry in Lafayette for many years and recently with Hall's Hardware in Franklinton. Visiting at McKneely Funeral Home, Amite, from 2 p.m. until religious service at 3 p.m. Wednesday. Interment in Arcola-Roseland cemetery, Arcola. Survived by two sons, Bryan Cory, Arcola, and Christopher Cory, Atlanta; a sister, Ellen Cory Davis, Zillah, Wash.; and three brothers, Walter E. Cory, Gonzales, William "Bill" Cory, Tickfaw, and Robert Cory, Zillah, Wash. preceded in death by his wife, Clara Nell Rutland Cory; and parents, Edward and Blanche Statham Cory.

GAUDET, LILLIAN MAE MARIE BOUDREAUX
A retired secretary and a resident of Plaquemine, she died early in the afternoon Saturday, Oct. 11, 2003, at her home. She was 76 and a native of White Castle. Visiting at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Plaquemine, from 10 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at noon Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2003, celebrated by the Rev. Matt Dupre. Recitation of the rosary at 11 a.m. Tuesday, led by Sister Cecile Poydras. Interment in Grace Memorial Park, Plaquemine. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Charmaine and Louis "Tootie Boy" Olivier, Plaquemine; three sons and daughters-in-law, Thomas "Yogi" and Angela Gaudet, Walker, Perry and Tammy LeBlanc Gaudet, Brusly, and Donald and Evelyn Gaudet, St. Amant; a brother, Rodney Boudreaux; 10 grandchildren, Tracey Lewis and husband Jason, Amy Gaudet, Tori Gaudet, Dena Falcon and husband Glenn, Jake Gaudet, Micah Olivier, Dane Olivier and fiancee Jennifer Boudreaux, Ryan Olivier, Mark Allen Roberson and Brandon Jade Roberson; and five great-grandchildren, Abby and Anna Grace Lewis, Mason Thomas Gaudet, Glenn P. "Tré" Falcon III and Gracie Falcon. preceded in death by her husband, Ulysses Joseph Gaudet; a daughter, Nancy G. Hamilton; a son-in-law, Terry Hamilton; two grandchildren, Neil and Sharon Hamilton; a sister, Joyce Smith; and two brothers, Gerald and Ernie Boudreaux. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Plaquemine.

GREEN, PAMELA SMITH "PAM"
A medical transportation van driver and a resident of Baton Rouge, she died Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2003, at Earl K. Long Medical Center. She was 29 and a native of St. Francisville. Religious service at Winnfield Funeral Home at 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 16, 2003. Interment in Winnfield Memorial Park. Survived by mother, Lubertha Mitchell; two daughters, Tylar Smith and Takayla Smith; a son, Trenton Smith; two sisters, Kantrelle Gwinn and Kenytta Blanchard; and three brothers, Warren Sharper Jr., Kevin Smith and Eugene Sharper. preceded in death by grandfather, Bully London; grandmothers, Mary London and Mary Jackson; and an uncle, Roosevelt London.

GUILLORY, LESSIE MARIE FONTENOT
A retired registered nurse with the East Louisiana State Hospital in Jackson and a resident of Jackson, she died at 1:10 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 12, 2003, at Country Manor Nursing Home, St. Francisville. She was 84, a native of Ville Platte and a former resident of Mamou. Visiting at Charlet Funeral Home Inc., Zachary, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday. Visiting at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Jackson, from 10 a.m. until service at 2 p.m. Friday, conducted by the Rev. Charlie Landry. Burial in Jackson cemetery. Survived by a son, John Bradley Guillory Sr. of Jackson; a brother, Harry Fontenot of Mamou; 12 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. preceded in death by her husband, Wilbert Ray Guillory; parents, Pierre and Lula Fontenot; a daughter, Cassrine Underwood; a sister, Winnie Mae Aucoin; and three brothers, Roy, Voyrice and Berkman Fontenot.

LERAY, CHARLES STANLEY
A resident of Sun and an iron worker and landscaper, he passed away at 3:15 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 11, 2003, at his residence. He was 21 and a native of Baton Rouge. Visitation will be at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs on Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2003, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m and Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2003, from 8 a.m. until religious service at noon. Graveside service will be held at the Dedon Bowman cemetery, St. Francisville, at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2003. Survived by his father and step-mother, Charles W. and Katina LeRay of Clinton; mother, Kelli L. Alonzo of Sun; stepfather, Thomas D. Kelly of Baker; four sisters, Lynn Lunday of Beaumont, Texas, Kelsey Kelly of Baker, Brittany Davis and Brandy LeRay, both of Clinton; two brothers, Robert Kelly of Baker, and Clint LeRay of Clinton; paternal grandmother, Dora LeRay of Denham Springs; maternal grandparents, Perrie and Barbara Alonzo of Denham Springs; girlfriend, Rachel Hagan of Sun; special friends, Rollon Courtney of Sun, and Bruce P. Jones, Jr. of Picayune, Miss.; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. preceded in death by paternal grandfather, Richard Stanley LeRay; stepgrandfather, Richard Chenevert; and stepbrother, Billy R. LOFTON, EFFIE WALSWORTH
A resident of St. Joseph, she died at 7:55 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 11, 2003, at Flannery Oaks in Baton Rouge. She was 97 and a native of Jonesboro. Visiting at Young's Funeral Home, Ferriday, from 9 a.m. until religious service at 10 a.m. Tuesday, conducted by the Rev. Jonathan King of St. Joseph United Methodist Church. Interment in Natchez City cemetery, Natchez, Miss. Survived by three nieces, Gwen W. Fontaine, Jervais W. Day and Marilyn W. Efferson; and two nephews, W.C. Walsworth Jr. and Ellis Fowler. preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Lofton; two brothers, Malory M. Walsworth and William C. Walsworth Sr.; and a sister, Mildred W. Haynes. Pallbearers will be Mike Lofton, Gene Lofton, Ellis Fowler, Jim Sevier, Ed Fontaine and Archie Day Sr. She was a member of St. Joseph United Methodist Church, where she served as longtime secretary/treasurer, National Association of Retired Federal Employees, Retired State Employees Association, Delta Kappa Gamma Society, and a former member of American Home Economics Association, Louisiana Home Economics Association, National Association of Extension Home Economists, Louisiana Association of Home Economists, Tensas Garden Club, Cosmopolitan Club and Order of the Eastern Star.

LOTT, FLOETTA JANE
Floetta Jane Lott, 67 and a registered nurse, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, Oct. 12, 2003, of cardiac arrest. She was a native of Caraway, Ark., and a resident of Walker. She had an extensive career in nursing and was a 1971 graduate of the School of Nursing at Arkansas State University, Jonesboro, Ark. Visitation was at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday. Visitation at the funeral home from noon until service at 2 p.m. Tuesday, conducted by the Rev. Louis Herrell. Burial in Greenoaks Memorial Park, Baton Rouge. She is survived by two daughters, Rhonda Givens and Donna Johnson; two granddaughters, Erin Givens and Rachael Johnson; a great-granddaughter, Addison Johnson; a sister, Melba Henderson; a special little friend, Mickelle Thomas; and a host of nieces and nephews in Little Rock, Ark., and Jena. She was preceded in death by her husband of 25 years, Percy "Bub" Lott; parents, Samuel Franklin and Flora Mildred Lawhead Cowsar; and two brothers. Pallbearers will be John Grimmer, Ray Massey, Pat Jeansonne, Jiles Pagan, Gene Gilcrest and John Hutchinson.

MAYEUX, JR. ALOE "JACK"
A retired draftsman and a resident of Pierre Part, he died at 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 11, 2003, in Thibodaux. He was 71 and a native of Alexandria. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean conflict. Visiting at Ourso Funeral Home, Pierre Part, from 9 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. Tuesday. Religious service at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, Pierre Part, at 3 p.m. Tuesday, conducted by the Rev. Gerald Lefebvre. Interment in Sacred Heart cemetery, Belle River. Survived by his wife, Elizabeth "Liz" Mayeux, Pierre Part; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Diane Lanier, Ponchatoula, Linda and Larry Miller, Ponchatoula, and Julie and Wayne Brashier, Denham Springs; a son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Carla Mayeux, Thibodeaux; two stepsons, Scott and wife Dana Clement, Mongolia, and Lynn Clement, Denham Springs; a sister, Marie Harris, Lake Charles; 10 grandchildren and a great-grandchild. preceded in death by his parents, Aloe Sr. and Josepha Didier Mayeux; and a son, Michael Mayeux.

MCGEE, AUDRY M.
A loving mother and grandmother, who loved Jesus and lived a life that spoke for itself, she died Saturday morning, Oct. 11, 2003, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. She was 78 and a resident of Port Allen. Visiting at Life Tabernacle Church, 8930 Plank Road, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. until religious service at 10 a.m. Wednesday, conducted by the Rev. Tony Spell. Survived by three sons, Curles McGee and wife Leanna of Baton Rouge, and Jody and wife Sue, and Glenn and wife Cathy McGee, all of Washington state; seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. preceded in death by her husband, Ewell McGee. She loved cooking and entertaining. Rabenhorst Funeral Home East in charge of arrangements.

MEDLIN, GREGORY SCOTT
A resident of Baton Rouge and a native of north Louisiana, he died Sunday, Oct. 12, 2003, at the age of 42. Visiting was held at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Monday, Oct. 13, 2003, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Visiting will be Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2003, in the funeral home chapel from 10 a.m. until service at 11 a.m. Interment will be in Marion on Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2003. Survived by his mother, Betty White Medlin; a brother, Dwain D. Medlin; a sister and brother-in-law, Timberly and George Enete; and nephews, Avery and Benjamin Enete. preceded in death by his father, Alva D. Medlin; and grandparents, Dr. Milas and Maude Medlin, and Dewey and Orene White.
