Robert Francis Jaeger, a plumber, died Thursday of cancer at his home. He was 75. Mr. Jaeger was born in New Orleans and lived in Ponchatoula for the past 15 years. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was a member of Plumbers/Steamfitters Union Local No. 60. Survivors include his wife, Lily Cabirac Jaeger; two sons, Donald H. and Robert F. Jaeger II; two brothers, Joseph A. Sr. and Charles J. Jaeger Jr.; a sister, Emily Jaeger Dennis; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. A funeral will be held Monday at 11:30 a.m. at St. Bernard Memorial Funeral Home, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette. Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. Burial will be in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.

KRAVET, KENDRA L.

Kendra L. Kravet, a waitress, died Thursday of Huntington's disease at Memorial Medical Center. She was 40. Ms. Kravet was a lifelong resident of Terrytown. Survivors include her father, Richard Kravet; two sisters, Tina Sims and Jenny Baldassaro; and a grandmother, Olga Waguespack. A funeral will be held Monday at 1 p.m. at Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 West Bank Expressway, Harvey. Visitation will begin at noon. Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park.

BULLOCK, MARY E.
January 27, 2002

Mary E. Bullock, a nurse's aide, died Jan. 17 of congestive heart failure at Touro Infirmary. She was 59. Ms. Bullock was born in Tylertown, Miss., and lived in New Orleans. Survivors include four sons, Othineil Bridges Jr. of Hammond, Aaron Bridges of San Leandro, Calif., Eugene Bridges of Europe and Darrell Bridges of Dallas; a daughter, Julia Haynes of Tickfaw; her father, Cary Welton Bullock; 24 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. A funeral will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Eastside Pentecostal Church of God in Christ in Hammond. Visitation will be today from 6 to 9 p.m. Burial will be in Holly Gardens in Hammond. Richardson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

ALLEN, DON TERRY
June 03, 2001

Don Terry Allen, a truck driver with Western Truck Co., died May 24 of a heart attack at a Red Roof Inn in Dallas. He was 44. Mr. Allen was a lifelong resident of New Orleans. He attended Gateway One High School and Southern University at New Orleans. He was a Navy veteran. He formerly worked as a security guard with Peace Lake Towers. He was a parishioner of St. David Catholic Church. Survivors include a brother, Keith V. Allen. A Mass will be said Monday at 10 a.m. at St. David Catholic Church, 5617 St. Claude Ave. Visitation will begin Monday at 9 a.m. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Park. Boissiere-Labat Family Funeral Services is in charge of arrangements.

FISHER, GLADYS LeBLANC
January 27, 2002

Gladys LeBlanc Fisher, a retired manager of League Central Credit Union, died Thursday at Colonial Oaks Nursing Home. She was 93. Mrs. Fisher was born in New Orleans and lived in Metairie for the past two years. She was past captain of Noblads Mardi Gras Club and a member of Daughters of the Desert, Dahraf Ladies, and Daughters of the Nile. She also was a member of the Rosary Altar Society of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Senior Citizens of St. Anthony of Padua and Annunciation Senior Citizens. Survivors include four grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and 13 great-great-grandchildren. A Mass will said Monday at 1 p.m. at Jacob Schoen & Son, 3827 Canal St. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Hope Mausoleum.

LANDRY, LENA SIMONEAUX
December 09, 2001

Lena Simoneaux Landry, a former telephone operator for South Central Bell, died Thursday at Pendleton Memorial Methodist Hospital. She was 77. Mrs. Landry was born in Belrose and lived in New Orleans for many years. She attended Francis T. Nicholls High School. Survivors include her husband, John A. Landry Sr.; two sons, David and John A. Landry Jr.; a daughter, Gail Landry Meyer; two brothers, George and Charles Simoneaux Jr.; a sister, Helen Sinibaldi; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Metairie cemetery, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

McGILL, MARGUERITE M. DUPONT

Marguerite M. Dupont McGill, an employee of the Orleans Stocking Mill, died Friday at Slidell Memorial Hospital. She was 91. Mrs. McGill was born in New Orleans and lived in Pearl River. Survivors include many nieces and nephews. A funeral will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at Evans Creek cemetery, Louisiana 41 in Pearl River. D.T. Williams Funeral Home in Pearl River is in charge of arrangements.

LEATHEM, MARY ALICE ARTHURS
December 09, 2001

Mary Alice Arthurs Leathem, a homemaker, died Friday of liver failure at Meadowcrest Hospital in Gretna. She was 66. Mrs. Leathem was born in New Orleans and lived in Algiers for the past 46 years. She graduated from Redemptorist High School. She received the Order of St. Louis Medallion. She was a parishioner of St. Julian Eymard Catholic Church and a volunteer with the Society for the Propagation of the Faith. Survivors include her husband, Robert C. Leathem; two daughters, Mary Leathem Elenes of Tucson, Ariz., and Laura Leathem of New Orleans; two brothers, William and John Arthurs Sr.; and two sisters, Anna Mae Facquet and Helen Toner. A Mass will be said Monday at 11 a.m. at St. Julian Eymard Catholic Church, 2701 Lawrence St., Algiers. Visitation will be today from 6 to 9 p.m. at Mothe Funeral Home, 1300 Vallette St., Algiers, and Monday at 10 a.m. at the church. Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park cemetery.

MORSE, ALICE WARNER

Alice Warner Morse, a homemaker, died Thursday of complications from diabetes and lung failure at her home. She was 43. Mrs. Morse was born in Covington and lived in Ponchatoula for many years. Survivors include two sons, James Ficco Jr. and Terry Morse Jr.; a daughter, Kisha Hoyt; her father, John David Warner; her mother, Nora Lee Sharp; her stepfather, Argyle Sharp; her stepmother, Virgie Warner; two brothers, John Allen and Paul David Warner; five sisters, Laura Lee Morse, Scheryl Warner, Carlene O'Keefe, Barbara Ann Duncan and Katherine King; and two grandchildren. A funeral will be held today at 2 p.m. at Jacob Schoen & Son Funeral Home, 1414 S. Tyler St., Covington. Visitation will begin at noon. Burial will be in Wager cemetery.

Earl Tonie Reel Sr., a retired roofer, died Tuesday of heart failure at Lakeland Medical Center. He was 71. Mr. Reel was a lifelong resident of New Orleans. He was an Army veteran of World War II. Survivors include two sons, Earl Tonie Reel Jr. and David Ivory; three daughters, Ongel Reel, Jackie LaSalle and Rosalie Martin; a brother, Albert Reel Jr.; five sisters, Betty Thomas, Myrtle Power, Ruth Braggs, Evelyn Oxley and Mable Ray; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. A funeral will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at D.W. Rhodes Funeral Home, 3933 Washington Ave. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Park.

SANFORD, SPENCER O. SR.

Spencer O. Sanford Sr., a laborer, died Wednesday of undetermined causes at his home. He was 51. Mr. Sanford was a lifelong resident of New Orleans. He graduated from Joseph S. Clark High School and attended Southern University at New Orleans. Survivors include a son, Spencer O. Sanford Jr.; his father, Samuel Sanford Sr.; and two grandchildren. A funeral will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Gertrude Geddes Willis Funeral Home, 2120 Jackson Ave. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Mount Olivet cemetery.

SMITH, ETHEL M. HUNTER

Ethel M. Hunter Smith, a retired nurse's assistant at Touro Infirmary, died Dec. 2 at Memorial Medical Center. She was 82. Mrs. Smith was born in Belle Alliance and lived in New Orleans for the past 48 years. She attended nursing school at Booker T. Washington High School. She was a member of Love and Peace Baptist Church and a former member of St. John Baptist Church. Survivors include a son, Clarence Joseph Hunter Jr., three daughters, Claudette Hunter Brewer, C'Ethel Hunter Kelly and Pat Hunter Rodney; a stepson, Edward Smith; two stepdaughters, Lee Ethel Hunter Ausama and Lydia Smith Williams; two brothers, Alfred Molden and Henry Molden Sr.; a sister, Mary Carmilla Molden Craig; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. A funeral will be held Monday at noon at Stringer Hope Missionary Baptist Church, 2401 S. Galvez St. Visitation will be today from 6 to 8 p.m. Burial will be in Mount Olivet cemetery. D.W. Rhodes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
