On Friday, February 6, 2015, Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, called home two little angels. Although our time with them was short, they had already left their mark on our family. Jaxson and Lilly will be forever in our hearts and on our minds. We will miss them, but, we are left with the knowledge that they will spend eternity playing on streets of gold. When our time on earth is done, we will make up for the time lost with them in the presence of Jesus forever and ever.
Left to cherish their memory are their parents, Jacob and Taylor Hill; paternal grandparents, Greg and Lisa HIll, maternal grandparents, Mickey Lynn Adams and Kristi Thomas Doucet; great grandparents, John and Evaughn Thomas, Lawrence (Mickey) and Matilda Adams, Brenda Strickland and Bubby Woodard; great-great grandmother, Bernice Strickland; and a host of uncle, aunts, cousins and dear friends.
A private graveside service will be handled by Myers-Colonial Funeral Home.

Earl Wayne Simmons, 55 of Rosepine, LA, passed from this life on Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at his home. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Linda Simmons of Rosepine, LA; sons, Earl W. Simmons, Jr. and wife Felicia of Rosepine, LA, and Justin Simmons and wife Kimberlee of DeRidder, LA; father, George W. Simmons of Rosepine, LA; mother, Judith Farquhar and husband James of DeRidder, LA; grandchildren, Devon Simmons, Kasen Simmons and one on the way; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his stepmother, Doris Simmons; and sister, Crista Simmons.
Visitation will be held Saturday, February 7, 2015 from 5:00pm until 9:00pm and Sunday, February 8, 2015 beginning at 10:00am until time of funeral service at 2:00pm at Diamond Baptist Church in Rosepine, LA. Burial will follow at Lewis cemetery in DeRidder, LA. Rev. James Byrd and Rev. Charlie Williams will officiate.
Delora Gill
April 17, 1935 - February 2, 2015
Delora Lee Gill, 79, of Pitkin, LA, passed from this life on Monday, February 2, 2015 in DeRidder, LA. Mrs. Gill graduated from Sugartown High School in 1953. She worked for Jouban’s Shoe Store for 20 years and was a Sunday school teacher for 50 years at Smyrna Baptist Church. Mrs. Gill was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Dennis Gill and wife Melissa of Cypress, TX; daughters, Brenda Anderson and husband David of Cole Central Community, LA, and Patty Adams and husband Serrhel of Fayetteville, AR; sisters, Jean Cox of Pitkin, LA, and June Craft and husband Glenn of DeQuincy, LA; grandchildren, Dustin Gill, Patrick Gill, Amanda Milner, David Clendening, Jody Clendening, Casey Anderson, Brandon Schales, Megan Schales, Rachael Adams, Nicholas Adams, and Kim Johnson; and `13 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Nancy Weldon; brothers, Melvin, Jimmy Joe, and Morris Weldon; and sister, Doris Slaydon.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 3, 2015 from 5:00pm until 9:00pm at Myers-Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA. Funeral service is Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at 11:00am at Smyrna Baptist Church in Sugartown, LA. Burial will follow at Smyrna cemetery. Rev. Frank Ott and Rev. Tim Lee will officiate.

Dr. Rev. Darrell Robert Zumalt, 67, of Pekin, IN, passed from this life on Saturday, January 31, 2015 at his home. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Shirley Bowman Zumalt of Pekin, IN; son, Kevin Zumalt and wife Tiarra of Henryville, IN; daughter, Christie Carter and husband Brent of Olathe, CO; stepson, Gary Martin and wife Wendy of Tulsa, OK; stepdaughter, Susan Harmon and husband Matt of Covington, OK; brothers, David Zumalt and partner Chip Walley of New Orleans, LA, and Steven Zumalt and wife Peggy of Cabot, AR; sister, Faith Ruminer of Cabot, AR; brother-in-law, Wilson Swire of Sulphur, LA; 12 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; and many special friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Berta Hoffpauir Zumalt; parents, Rev. Robert and Eva Zumalt; sister, Marcelyn Swire; granddaughter, Lacy Carter.

Glenn Kyle, 57 of Many, LA, passed from this life on Saturday, January 31, 2015 at his home. Those left to cherish his memory are his brother, Blann Kyle, Sr. and wife Yvette; and sister, Linda Sue Kyle all of DeRidder, LA; 2 nieces; 2 great nieces; and 2 great nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Woodie and Ophelia Kyle; and nephew Blann Lennard Kyle, Jr.
Visitation and Funeral service will be held Saturday, February 7, 2015 at Norris Memorial Church of God in Christ in DeRidder, LA. Visitation begins at 9:00am until time of funeral service at 10:00am. Burial will follow at Merryville Community cemetery in Merryville, LA. Pastor Murray Piper will officiate.

Those left to cherish his memory are his sons, Andy Paul Williams of DeRidder, LA, Jared Foraker & wife Justine of DeRidder, LA; brother, Michael Ray Williams & wife Jeannie of Burkeville, TX; sisters, Carolyn Bush & husband David of Leesville, LA, Renee Whiddon & husband Andy of Merryville, LA; 6 grandchildren; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jessie Ray and Gloria Williams; brother, C.J. Williams; 2 grandsons.
Mr. Williams loved riding horses and spending time with family and friends.
