Nevella Garland Kilpatrick
(June 18, 1918 - May 6, 2012)

Funeral services for Mrs. Nevella Garland Kilpatrick, age 93, will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at the Whitehall United Methodist Church with Rev. John Korlaske and Rev. Bryan Dauphin officiating. Burial will be in the Whitehall Cemetery under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home, Haynesville, LA.

Visitation will be Tuesday 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Bailey Funeral Home in Haynesville.

Mrs. Kilpatrick was born June 18, 1918 in Leton, LA to John Wesley and Mary Lee Robinson Garland and passed away Sunday, May 6, 2012 in Haynesville, LA. She was a faithful member of the Whitehall United Methodist Church, was a homemaker and will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She is preceded in death by her devoted husband of 67 years, Weldon Kilpatrick, on April 28, 2007; her parents; brother, J. O. Garland and sister, Theadis Knox.

She is survived by sons, Weldon Wayne Kilpatrick and wife, Tommie Sue of Haynesville, LA; Howard Hershel Kilpatrick and wife, Sue of Benton, LA; grandchildren, Tonya Gallaspy and husband, Lee; Sonya Sims and husband, Buddy; Scott Kilpatrick and wife, April; Shane Kilpatrick and wife, Kristen and Shannon Kilpatrick; great-grandchildren, Lauren, Caroline, Grant, Megan, Anna Grace, McCala, Dayton, Wesley, Kaylee and Khloe. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Serving as pallbearers will be her grandsons and great-grandsons.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Whitehall Cemetery Association, 760 Hwy. 521, Haynesville, LA 71038

Clara Knox Moore
(Died May 4, 2012)

Clara Knox Moore, 94, passed away May 4, 2012, from heart complications. She had been living in assisted living in the Dallas area since 2007. Clara Moore was born in Haynesville, LA in 1917 to Sallie and Tyra Knox. As a young lady, Clara moved to Shreveport where she met and married, Fred L. Moore, Jr., her husband of 63 years. Clara and Fred lived most of their life on the west side of Shreveport where they were members of Trinity Methodist Church. She was a loving and cherished wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend.

Clara was preceded in death by parents, her husband Fred and three sisters.

Survivors include son, William Moore and wife, Beth of Scottsdale, AZ; daughter, Linda Moore and husband, Ronald Stever of Dallas, TX; granddaughter, Charlotte Schmidt, of Houston, TX and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside services are planned for Clara Knox Moore, on Tuesday, May 8, at 12:00 noon at the Shady Grove Cemetery in Haynesville, LA.under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home in Haynesville, La. The family request that in lieu of flowers memorials in memory of Clara Knox Moore be made to First Methodist Church, Haynesville, La.

Terry Glen Taylor
(October 25, 1959 - April 20, 2012)

Graveside services for Mr. Terry Glen Taylor, age 52, will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, April 25, 2012, at the Forest Grove Cemetery, Taylor, AR, with Dr. Charles Payne officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home, Springhill, LA.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 24, 2012 from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at the funeral home.

Mr. Taylor was born on October 25, 1959 to Floyd and Hazel Phillips Taylor in Springhill, and passed away on April 20, 2012 in Shreveport. He loved fishing and being with his family and friends. Mr. Taylor was preceded in death by his father and step-father, Bobby "Shorty" Taylor. He is survived by his mother, Hazel Taylor; brother, Al Taylor and wife,Vonda of Sarepta, LA; sister, Kaye Berry and husband, Danny of Emerson, AR; step-brothers, Rickey Taylor and wife, Lynn of Boyce, LA, Dwayne Taylor and wife, Connie of Welch, LA; best friend, Randy Taylor of Springhill, LA; nieces and nephews, DeAnna Guillot and husband, Shannon, Hollie McHaffey and husband, Todd, Jason Taylor and wife, Lori; second mother, Rita Kinard and a host of other nieces, nephews, family and friends. Ronald E. Bobbitt
(April 1, 1945 - March 22, 2012)

Funeral services for Mr. Ronald E. Bobbitt , age 66, will be held at 2:00 pm, Sunday, March 25, 2012, at the Springhill United Methodist Church, Springhill, LA, with Rev. Bill McLain officiating. Interment will follow at Old Shongaloo Cemetery, Shongaloo, LA under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home, Springhill.

Visitation will be held Saturday, March 24, 2012 from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm at the funeral home.

Mr. Bobbitt was born on April 1, 1945 to William E. and Josephine Coleman Bobbitt in Springhill, LA and passed away on March 22, 2012 in Bossier City, LA. He was a member of the Springhill United Methodist Church and retired from International Paper Company after 30 years of service. He loved collecting Hot Wheels, Guns, and was a loving, husband , father, and grandfather.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Linda Sue Haynes Bobbitt; daughter, Rhonda Bobbitt Mouser and husband, Tim of Shongaloo; grandchildren, Jarrod F. Sawyer of Greenville, TX, Dakota L. Mouser, and Megan E. Mouser both of Shongaloo; mother, Josephine Coleman Coile; brother, Ed Bobbitt and wife, Dot of Springhill; sister-in-law, Gloria Haynes of Shreveport, LA; and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Bobbitt was preceded in death by his father and brother-in-law Terry D. Haynes.

Pallbearers will be Jacob Partain, Evan Tidwell, Joel Sawyer, James Bobbitt, Ray Maples, and Brad Haynes. Honorary pallbearers will be Tommy Clark, Harley Thomas, Larry Williams, Bobby Ward, Bob Kilpatrick, Mike Putman, Mike Deloney, and Jerry Stephens.

Peggy Lowe Robison
(June 12, 1924 - March 22, 2012)

Peggy Lowe Robison Shongaloo, Louisiana

Graveside services for Mrs. Peggy Lowe Robison , age 87, will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, March 24, 2012, in Old Shongaloo Cemetery, Shongaloo, LA with Rev. Gladney Hunt officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home, Springhill, LA.

Mrs. Robison was born on June 12, 1924 to William and Bertie Pope Lowe in Mooresville, NC and passed away on Thursday, March 22, 2012 in Springhill, LA. She was a member of New Era Methodist Church, Shongaloo, LA, was a homemaker and loved working with her flowers. Mrs. Robison was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother. She is survived by her sons, James Robison and wife, Barbara of Shongaloo, LA, John Robison and wife, Mellissa of Shongaloo, LA; two grandchildren, Tonya Dougan and husband, Victor of Shongaloo, LA, Tammy Butts and husband, Chris of Sarepta, LA; four great-grandchildren, Danny R. Boots, Jr of Shongaloo, LA, Heather D. Boots of Haynesville, LA, James M. Boots of Shongaloo, LA and Kala Jo Butts of Sarepta, LA. Mrs. Robison was preceded in death by her parents, husband, James Russell Robison and son, William Walter Robison.

Pallbearers will be Tim Beshea, David Dixon, Glenn Dixon, Frank Ponder, Danny Boots, Jr., and Michael Boots.

Denise Tinsley Harman
(June 19, 1950 - March 14, 2012)

A celebration of life for Ms. Denise Tinsley Harman, age 61, will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, March 17, 2012, at the First Presbyterian Church, Haynesville, LA, with Rev. Bruce M. Rux officiating. A private family graveside service will follow in Old Town Cemetery, under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home. Denise was born on June 19, 1950 to Percy and Laura Shepherd Tinsley in Homer, LA and passed from this life on Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at Grace Home in Shreveport. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Haynesville, LA and was a loving daughter, mother, and grandmother. Denise was a devoted mother who dedicated her life to her children. She was actively involved in their many interests. As a Boy Scout leader, she saw her three sons achieve the rank of Eagle Scout. The rest of her time was dedicated to her only daughter who was her best friend. She encouraged artistic expression in all of her children through the example of her own works. Denise was a constant seeker of knowledge who was always available to answer any trivia question thrown her way. She loved to read and learn and share her knowledge with those around her. She is survived by her mother Laura Tinsley of Haynesville, her children, Braden Harman and wife, Christie of Benton, AR, Bryce "Chip" Harman and wife, Virginia of Cut Bank, MT, Hayley Harman Ware and husband, Corbin of Haynesville; and by three grandchildren, Ava Christine Harman, Chloe Danielle Harman, and Percy Ambrose Harman. Denise was preceded in death by her father, Percy Tinsley; and son, Ross Nicholas Harman. Throughout her battle with MS, many churches, close friends and extended family supported her through acts of kindness and prayers. The family is extremely grateful for the many prayers over the years. Roger Greer
(January 21, 1948 - April 28, 2012)

Funeral services for Mr. John Roger Greer, age 64, will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, May 1, 2012, in the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel, Haynesville, LA, with Rev. Rick Frick officiating. Interment will follow in Colquitt Cemetery under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home, Haynesville.

Visitation will be held Monday, April 30, 2012 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.

Mr. Greer was born on January 21, 1948 to Dan and Frances Rogers Greer in Homer, LA and passed away on April 28, 2012 at Homer Memorial Hospital in Homer, LA. He was a member of Canaan Land Assembly of God Church, Emerson, AR, was retired from Noble Drilling Company after 25yrs. of service. Mr. Greer enjoyed riding horses, spending time with his grandkids and riding his golf cart in his later years. He is survived by his wife, Linda Vines Greer; daughter, Melissa Claunch of Haynesville, LA; son, Todd Greer and wife, Krista of Haynesville, LA; grandchildren, MaKenna Claunch, Dustin Claunch, Heather Bledsoe, Ali Bledsoe and Zach Bledsoe. Mr. Greer was preceded in death by his sister, Barbara Walker, and his parents.

Pallbearers will be Kevin Miller, Mike Delaney, Chris Delaney, Bubba Vines, Ricky Haughton and Joe Friemel.
