Funeral services for Mr. Bobby Gene White, age 81, will be held at 2:00 pm, Sunday, June 3, 2012, in the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel, Springhill, LA with Rev. Don McCormick and Rev. Marty Wright officiating. Interment will follow in Old Sarepta Cemetery under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home, Springhill, LA.

Visitation will be held Saturday, June 2, 2012 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.

Mr. White was born on February 24, 1931 to Jesse Richardson and Mattie Lou Haynes White in Shongaloo, LA and passed away on Thursday, May 31, 2012 in Sarepta, LA. He was a member of Old Sarepta Missionary Baptist Church, US Veteran serving in the US Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict and was retired from International Paper after 46 of service. Mr. White loved gardening, being outdoors and bird hunting. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and brother.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Emogene White of Sarepta, LA; children, Hershel Gene White and wife, Johnette of Sarepta, LA, Cyndi White Hair and husband, Sonny of Sarepta, LA; grandchildren, Melanie Lockey and husband, Tony of Sarepta, LA, Dustin Lane Hair of Sarepta, LA, Michael Hair and wife, Shannon of Magnolia, AR; great grandchildren, Tony Ryder Lockey and Ember Rose Lockey of Sarepta, LA; sisters, Thalia Mouser of Shongaloo, LA, Julia Ann Davis of Houston, TX and a host of nieces and nephews.

Mr. White was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Quinton White, Hershel White, J.R. White, Jr., Herbert White and sisters, Odessa Sexton and Opal Burns.

Pallbearers will be Gary Sexton, Mike Hanson, Chris Honea, Johnny Dale Mouser, Gerald White, Thomas Gene Mouser and Michael Hair.

Linda Gay Dees

April 23, 1949 - May 30, 2012

Funeral services for Ms. Linda Gay Dees, age 63, will be held Saturday, June 2, 2012 at 10:00 AM in the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tim Everett officiating. Interment will follow in Western Cemetery under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home, Springhill, LA.

Visitation will begin Friday, June 01, 2012 at 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.

Ms. Dees was born April 23, 1949 in Springhill, LA to Marion Durwood and Nellie June Modisette Dees and passed away May 30, 2012 in Springhill, LA. She was a lifelong resident of this area, was of the Baptist faith and was a retired Dietary Manager, with Town and Country Nursing Home for sixteen years. She was a loving mother, grandmother and sister.

She is survived by her children, Gregory Scott Clark and wife, Beth of Minden, LA, Geff Clark of Springhill, LA, Gennifer Hall of Minden, LA; five grandchildren, Connor Clark, Logan Clark, Abby Clark, McKenzie Hall, Zachary Hall; sisters, Wanda Smith and husband, Stanley of Texarkana, AR, Pamela Dees of Springhill, LA, Vicki Carpenter and husband, Jimmy of Sarepta, LA; brothers, Mike Dees and wife, Deborah of Taylor, AR, Ronnie Dees and wife, Barbara of Springhill, LA; step-sisters, Monica Davis, Miniver Kennedy; step-brothers, Sidney Foster, Dick Foster and a host of nieces and nephews.

Ms. Dees was preceded in death by her father, Marion Durwood Dees; mother, June Dees Foster; step-father, James Foster and brother, Ricky Glenn Dees.

Serving as pallbearers will be Peyton Dees, Chance McDonald, Kyle Carpenter, Bobby Joe Hall, Duwayne Cheatham and Channing Hall. Honorary pallbearers will be Mark Clark and Tim McDonald.

A special thanks to Agape Hospice Staff, Dena, Tammy, Robin, Keela, Chaplin Buster Bailey and her sitters, Cindy, Ms. Margie, Nicole and Kay for their compassion and loving care.

Charles William Bell

June 25, 1940 - May 30, 2012

Funeral services for Mr. Charles William Bell , age 71, will be held at 10:00 am, Friday, June 1, 2012, at the Calvary Baptist Church, Homer, LA, with Rev. William Colvin officiating. Interment with Masonic Graveside Rites will follow in Bethlehem Cemetery, Homer, LA under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home, Haynesville.

Visitation will be held Thursday, May 31, 2012 from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Bailey Funeral Home, Haynesville.

Mr. Bell was born on June 25, 1940 to Gaston and Ruby Harper Bell in Jackson, MS and passed away on May 30, 2012 in Homer. He was a former resident of Leakesville, MS, member of Calvary Baptist Church and was a Gideon. He worked for David Wade Correctional, served in the US Army and National Guard. He was a mason and shriner in the Homer Masonic Lodge, and a member of the American Legion. He was loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.

He is survived by his wife of 34 years Brenda Langheld Bell; daughters, Dina B. Blackmon and husband John of Picayune, MS, Alicia B.Williamson and husband John of Crystal Springs, MS, Patricia Boone of Picayune, MS; sister, Gladys Blackney and husband Ted of Magee, MS; grandchildren, Katie Blackmon, Brent Clark, Scott Clark; great-grandchildren, Ryliegh, Haven and Austin and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mr. Bell was preceded in death by his parents and son, Michael Stewart " Mike" Bell.

Pallbearers will be Jerry English, Bryan Tucker, Gary Hunter, Bruce Sullivan.

G.L. Milhollen

April 22, 1930 - May 29, 2012

G. L. Milhollen, 82, of Junction City, LA went to sing in the heavenly choir on May 29, 2012. He was born April 22, 1930 in Palmyra, AR to Gussie Leon and Ruby McFalls Milhollen.

G.L. still enjoyed gardening and selling his produce. He was a active member of Pilgrim’s Rest Baptist Church and was a Veteran of the Korean War. He was retired from Jack Winter Garment Factory and Columbia Chemical Company.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Bobby Cecil Milhollen.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 58 years, Irma Milhollen; four children, Gail Geter and James, Gwena McLelland and Richard, LaJuanda Black and Michael all of Junction City, LA, Gary Lamont Milhollen and Karla of Winnfield, LA; ten grandchildren, Trent McLelland and Donna, Erik McLelland and Jessie, Lindsey Ramey and Michael, Kayla Foster and Trey, Kyle Black, Morgan Schaub, Whitney Milhollen, Chase Milhollen, Alexa Milhollen, Alanna Milhollen; four great grandchildren, Kenslee McLelland, Allie Foster, Colton Foster, Peyton Ramey; one sister, Maxine Mitchell of Little Rock, AR numerous nieces, nephews and host of friends.

Funeral services will be 10:30am Thursday, May 31, 2012 at Pilgrims Rest Baptist Church in Junction City with Bro. Adam Holloway, Bro. Rubin Weaver, Bro. Leroy Jones officiating. Burial will be 3:00pm at Palmyra Cemetery near Star City, AR under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home in El Dorado, AR.

Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 5pm until 8pm at the Pilgrims Rest Baptist Church in Junction City.

Pallbearers will be Erik McLelland, Kyle Black, Michael Ramey, Trey Foster, Chase Milhollen, W.H. Ashcraft and Kenny Mitchell.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Harold B. Moore, Paul Smith, Beuford Taylor, Bud McClelland, Earl Thurman, Glenn Leake, Elmer Black and Jason Tucker

Jeffrey Kent Kirkpatrick

November 21, 1963 - May 25, 2012

Funeral services for Mr. Jeffrey Kent Kirkpatrick , age 48, will be held at 10:00 am, Monday, May 28, 2012, at the Woodland Church of Christ, Haynesville, LA, with Bro. Jon Dewbre officiating. Interment will follow in Friendship Cemetery, Haynesville, under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home.

Visitation will be held Sunday, May 27, 2012 from 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm at the funeral home.

Mr. Kirkpatrick was born on November 21, 1963 to Morris and Pat Coffey Kirkpatrick in Haynesville, LA and passed away on May 25, 2012 at his home. He was a member of the Woodland Church of Christ in Haynesville, and a truck driver for Key Energy Services. Jeffrey loved hunting, fishing, and being outdoors. He is survived by his parents; brother, Jimmy Kirkpatrick and wife, Tracie; sister, Jerri Ann Christian; two children, Justin and Shaynna Kirkpatrick; grandson, Gavin Kirkpatrick all of Haynesville, LA; and a host of nieces and nephews. Mr. Martin, a lifelong resident of this area, was born on November 27, 1953 to Harvell and Alma Gordon Martin in Springhill, LA and passed away on May 9, 2012 at his home in Plain Dealing. He was a member of the Assembly of God faith and a retired pressman for an office supply company. Roger is survived by his daughters, Amy Martin Groves of Hickory, TN, Ashley Martin Broussard of TN, Tennille Stewart of Quitman, LA; six grandchildren; mother, Alma Gordon McKellar of Plain Dealing; sister, Ann Franks of Plain Dealing; brothers, Terry Martin and Buddy Martin both of Shreveport, LA and Ricky Martin of Orlando, FL; half-sisters, Cindy Livingston of MO, Debbie McClary of Hendersonville, TN; half-brother, Billy Martin of TN; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Mr. Martin was preceded in death by his father; and sister, Gail Martin Ambrose.

Funeral services for Mrs. Catherine Cline Branch, age 78, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at the First Baptist Church with Dr. Shelby Cowling officiating and a eulogy by her nephew, John R. Dickerson. Burial will be in the Old Town Cemetery under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home, Haynesville, LA.

Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. Tuesday at Bailey Funeral Home.

Mrs. Branch was born in Haynesville, LA on April 5, 1934 to Luther Fred and Ruth Axley Cline and passed away Sunday, May 6, 2012 in Shreveport, LA. She was a lifelong resident of this area, was a member of the First Baptist Church. She loved to work and serve, enjoying a 62yr. career, most of it with Dr. Eddie Butler and Stallion Oil Field Services. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She is preceded in death by her parents, sister, Brenda Caldwell and brother, Freddie Cline.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 57 years, F. M. Branch of Haynesville, LA; sons, Pat Branch of Shreveport, LA; Mike Branch and wife, Lyn of Minden, LA; grandchildren, Kaylie Branch, Jordan Branch, Blake Branch and Macie Branch; her sister’s children, Mark Caldwell, Tracy Eaglin, Cathy Fullen and Cindy Riviere and many other nieces and nephews.

Serving as pallbearers will be nephews, Mark Caldwell, Scott Kilpatrick, Mike Dickerson, James Branch, Glenn Branch and Cameron Branch. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Eddie Anglin, Mike Anglin, Dr. Edward S. Butler, Bobby Butler, Jerry Clements, David Pemberton, Phil Pemberton, Herbert Taylor and Donald Davenport.

A special thank you to Dr. Clint Butler, Dr. Sam Abshire, the staffs of Claiborne Manor and Christus Schumpert Highland for their loving care during Catherine’s illness.
