HOLDEN- Selina (Rolston) Pellegrini Landino, 58, of 37 Fairview Ave., Jefferson, died Saturady, March 23, at home after an illness.

She leaves a son, Michael K. Pellegrini of Worcester; a daughter, Kim A. Riopel of Jefferson; four brothers, John, Patrick, Hugh, and Brendan Rolston, all of Port Glasgow, Scotland; five sisters, Marie Marshall of Douglas, Marge Brown of Montana, Bridget Marshall of Florida, Rosaleen Bowen of California, and Anne Walker of Louisiana; and a close friend with whom she lived, Rick Leighton. She was born in Port Glasgow, Scotland, daughter of John J. and Marjorie (McLaughlin) Rolston, and lived in Worcester before moving to Jefferson four years ago.

Mrs. Landino was a supervisor at UMass Memorial Medical Center - Memorial Campus, where she worked 15 years.

She was a member of St. Mary's Church.

The funeral will be held Wednesday, March 27, from Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main St. (www.milesfuneralhome.com), with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. George's Church, 38 Brattle St., Worcester. Calling hours are from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 26, in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.

Robert C. Langlois, 48
Friday, March 29, 2002

GARDNER- Robert C. "Farmer" Langlois, 48, of 342 Temple St., died Wednesday, March 27, at home after an illness.

He leaves his wife of 23 years, Maria (Magliacane) Langlois; two sons, Michael R. and Jeffrey C. Langlois, both of Gardner; his parents, Charles E. and M. Paulette (Allaire) Langlois of Gardner; two brothers, Joseph D. Langlois of Wimberley, Texas and Pierre R. Langlois of Ledyard, Conn.; two sisters, Suzanne M. Walker of Westminster and Michelle E. Arsenault of Gardner; several nephews and nieces. Hew was born in Gardner, and graduated from Gardner High School in 1971. He received a bachelor's degree from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst in 1975.

He became a certified public accountant in 1994, and co-owned Venning & Jacques, P.C. for several years. He previously worked for David L. Larocque, CPA.

He was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, its school golf and finance committees, and was a past member of its school board. He was a director of the Greater Gardner Chamber of Commerce, and chaired its annual golf tournament. He was a board member of GFA Federal Credit Union, and was a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He was a board member of the Gardner Museum, and was a member of the Napoleon Club and Club 25.

He was a member of Gardner Municipal Golf Course, and was a past champion of its Gardner Oldsmobile Scramble. He coached Little League, and played softball. He enjoyed playing pool.

The funeral service will be held Tuesday, April 2, from Boucher Funeral Home Inc., 110 Nichols St., with a Mass at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols St. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours are from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday, April 1, in the funeral home. Donations may be made to the Holy Rosary Education Fund, c/o Holy Rosary School Golf Tournament at GFA Federal Credit Union, 229 Parker St., Gardner, MA 01440 or Holy Rosary School Fund, 135 Nichols St., Gardner, MA 01440.

Joseph Patrick Curran
Born: Sun., May 20, 1934
Died: Sat., Oct. 4, 2014

LINWOOD ... Joseph P. Curran, 80, died Saturday, October 4, in the Webster Manor Nursing Home, following a period of declining health. He is survived by his wife, Marjorie (DeCoff) Curran, two sons; Timothy Curran and his wife Kristi, of Seattle, Washington and Stephan Curran, of Northbridge; three daughters, Christina Leighton and her husband Mark, of Pearl, Mississippi, Juliana Curran and Catherine Curran, both of Northbridge; and his granddaughters, Victoria and Emelia Leighton. He was predeceased by his son Matthew in 2008.
Mr. Curran was born in Alston, MA, May 20, 1934, the son of Patrick and Julia (Murphy) Curran, and had lived here since 1988. He was a 1952 graduate of Saint Columbkills High School in Brighton.
He was a construction supervisor at NATGUN, Co., in Wakefield, for 35 years, retiring in 2003.
Mr. Curran was a U.S. Marine Corp veteran of the Korean Conflict.
At his request, there are no funeral services scheduled at this time.

James Prendiville Sr.
Sunday, March 31, 2002

WORCESTER -- James W. Prendiville Sr., 67, of 4 Gage St., a shipper, died Friday, March 29, in St. Vincent Hospital at Worcester Medical Center.

He leaves his wife of 45 years, Alice L. (Hicks) Prendiville; a son, James W. Prendiville Jr. of Worcester; four daughters, Linda D. Prendiville, Kathleen Adams and Debra A. Villa, all of Worcester, and Nancy O'Connell of the Cherry Valley section of Leicester; three brothers, Thomas F. Prendiville of Worcester, Robert P. Prendiville of Townsend and Edward F. Prendiville of Interlachen, Fla.; a sister, Patricia Prendiville of the Rochdale section of Leicester; nine grandchildren; nephews and nieces. A brother, Joseph R. Prendiville of Worcester, predeceased him. He was born in Worcester, son of Thomas F. and Dorothy E. (Rosebush) Prendiville, and graduated from Sacred Heart Academy.

Mr. Prendiville was a shipper for 36 years for Creative Packaging Co., formerly Owens-Illinois Co., and worked until the time of his death. He was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel-St. Ann Church.

The funeral will be held Tuesday, April 2, from Dirsa-Morin Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 298 Grafton St. (worcesterfuneral.com), with a Mass at a time to be announced in Our Lady of Mount Carmel-St. Ann Church, 24 Mulberry St. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery. Calling hours are 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, April 1, in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to American Diabetes Association, 330 Congress St., Fifth Floor, Boston, MA 02210.

WEST BROOKFIELD- The memorial Mass for Victorine A. (Morrill) Lavalley, 94, of West Brookfield, formerly of North Main Street in North Brookfield and formerly of Worcester, who died Thursday, Feb. 14, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 23, in St. Joseph Church, 296 Main St., North Brookfield.

Francis L. Letendre, 80

WARE- Francis L. Letendre, 80, of 71 Duggan Road, died Thursday, March 28, in Baystate Medical Center.

He leaves his wife, Florence (Labarge) Letendre; two sons, John Letendre of Hudson and Leo Letendre of Ware; four daughters, Yvonne Banas, Claire Dowell, Lorraine Fountain and Doris Porowski, all of Ware; a sister, Gladys Parker of North Brookfield; 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Five brothers, Raymond, Arthur, Donald, Robert and Roger Letendre, predeceased him. He was born in New Braintree, son of Alcide and Delina (Wine) Letendre, and lived most of his life in Ware.

Mr. Letendre was an assembler at The Ware Machine Shop, retiring in 1984. He was a communicant of All Saints Church.

A funeral service will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday, March 30, in Charbonneau Funeral Home, 30 Pleasant St. Burial will be in Mount Carmel Cemetery. Calling hours are 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 29, in the funeral home. Donations may be made to All Saints Church, 17 North St., Ware, MA 01082.

Louis L. Lopardo, 77

WORCESTER -- Louis L. Lopardo, 77, of 158 Heywood St., a former letter carrier, died Saturday, March 30, in UMass Memorial Medical Center - University Campus.

His wife of 47 years, Domenica (DiForte) Lopardo, died in 1998. He leaves a son, Ralph L. Lopardo of Mystic, Conn.; a daughter, Donna M. Garcia of Worcester; a brother, Domenic Lopardo of Worcester; two sisters, Mary Paladino of Worcester and Rita Shelzi of Reading; five grandchildren; nieces and nephews. A daughter, Catherine Solitro, died in 1985. A brother, Michael Lopardo, also predeceased him. He was born in Worcester, son of Ralph and Carmella (Santora) Lopardo. He graduated from North High School and attended Worcester State College. He was an Army veteran of World War II.

Mr. Lopardo was a letter carrier for the United States Postal Service, delivering in the May Street neighborhoods before retiring. He was a member of Our Lady of Loreto Church, Our Lady of Mount Carmel-St. Ann Church, and East Side Post 201 American Legion.

The funeral will be held Wednesday, April 3, from Arthur S. Manzi & Son Funeral Home & Garden Chapel, 179 Shrewsbury St., with a Mass at 9:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Loreto Church, 33 Massasoit Road. Entombment will be in Notre Dame cemetery Mausoleum. Calling hours are 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 2, in the funeral home. Members of East Side Post 201 will meet at 7 p.m. during the calling hours to conduct their ritual. Memorial donations may be made to Our Lady of Loreto Church, Building Fund, 33 Massasoit Road; or to Our Lady of Mount Carmel-St. Ann Church, Building Fund, 24 Mulberry St., both Worcester, MA 01604.

Eugenio Lugo, 77

WORCESTER -- Eugenio Lugo, 77, of 1060 Main St., died Wednesday, March 20, in Providence Extended Care Center, after an illness.

He leaves his wife, Rosa Rodriguez; three sons, Julio Lugo of Bronx, N.Y., Efraim Lugo of Hartford and Rafael Lugo of Worcester; a daughter, Nilda Garcia of Worcester; two brothers, Belto and Alfredo Lugo, both of Catanio, Puerto Rico; a sister, Hipolita Lugo of Florida; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. He was born in Arecibo, Puerto Rico, son of Cipriano and Juana (Rivera) Lugo, and had lived here eight years.

He was a machine operator in Puerto Rico.

The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, March 25, in Graham-Putnam & Mahoney Funeral Parlors, 838 Main St. Burial will be Hope Cemetery. Calling hours are 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday, March 24, in the funeral home.

Janet O. Macko, 66,

SPENCER- Janet O. (Olson) Macko, 66, of 35 Lake Shore Drive, a retired nurse practitioner, died Sunday, March 31, in UMass Memorial Medical Center - Memorial Campus, Worcester.

Her husband of 16 years, Robert J. Macko, died in 1978. She leaves two daughters, Kristina M. Geenty of Worcester and Katrina L. Macko of Spencer; two grandsons; nephews and nieces. A sister, Marguerite Polson of Sandwich, predeceased her. She was born in Worcester, daughter of L. Werner and Helga E. (Hellberg) Olson, and lived many years in Worcester before moving to Spencer two years ago. She graduated from North High School, Worcester, in 1953, from Memorial Hospital School of Nursing, Worcester, in 1957 and from Northeastern University, Boston as a nurse practitioner in 1981.

Mrs. Macko was a registered nurse and worked 22 years as a school nurse at Worcester Academy, retiring two years ago. She was active at Worcester Academy since 1962 and was past president of the Worcester Academy Thimble Club. She was a member and Sunday school teacher of Zion Lutheran Church.

The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 4, in Zion Lutheran Church, 41 Whitmarsh Ave., Worcester. Burial will be in All Faiths Cemetery, Worcester. Calling hours are 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 3, in Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln St., Worcester. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Worcester Academy Scholarship Fund, 81 Providence St., Worcester, MA 01604; or to Zion Lutheran Church Scholarship Fund, 41 Whitmarsh Ave., Worcester, MA 01606.
