LANCASTER - Sandra E. (Graves) Cheney, 51, of 87 Old State Road, Lanesboro, formerly of Lancaster, died Thursday, June 6, in College Dale, Tenn.

She leaves her husband of 32 years, Arthur Cheney; two daughters, Ginger Cheney and Julia Donohue, both of College Dale; her mother, Beryl Graves of Winchendon; a brother, Richard Graves of South Lancaster; and three sisters, Linda Lesi of Winamucca, Nev., Melody Adams of Leominster and Darlene Arsenault of Adams. She was born in Clinton, daughter of the late Marvin R. Graves. She graduated from South Lancaster Academy.

Mrs. Cheney had worked in the real estate field and the electronics field. She was the National Federation of Independent Business division leader in Wisconsin. She was a member of the Berkshire Hills Seventh - Day Adventist Church, Lanesboro, where she was a church elder and taught classes.

The funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday, June 9, in Berkshire Hills Seventh - Day Adventist Church, Lanesboro. Burial will be Monday, June 10, in Eastwood Cemetery. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Berkshire Hills Seventh - Day Adventist Church, c/o Dery Funeral Home, 54 Bradford St., Pittsfield, MA 01201.

Bella Collings, 82

SACO, Maine - Bella (Nicholopoulos) Collings, 82, of Smith Lane, formerly of Webster, Mass., died Friday, June 7, in Southern Maine Medical Center after a short illness.

Her husband of 49 years, Donald Boyd Collings, died in 1963. She leaves two sons, Donald Collings of Old Orchard Beach and Gayle Collings of Portland; a sister, Lillian Garabedian of Ocean Park; a brother, John Nicholopoulos of Webster; several nieces and nephews. She was born in Webster, daughter of Peter and Eva Canalopolous Nicholopoulos, and was educated in Webster schools.

Mrs. Collings, a homemaker, had worked in Webster shoe shops. In addition to being a hairdresser, she previously worked at John Roberts in Biddeford, and the Round Up restaurant in Old Orchard Beach, retiring in 1984. She was past president of the Daughters of Penelope in Webster. She enjoyed politics and playing cards.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, June 10, in St. Demetrios Church, 186 Bradley St., Burial will be in St. Demetrios Cemetery, Biddeford. Calling hours are 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, June 9, in Cathedral Pines Funeral Home, 156 Saco Ave., Old Orchard Beach.

Michele Cummings, 51

BRIMFIELD - Michele R. (Cinq - Mars) Cummings, 51, of Crestwood Road, died Saturday, June 1, at home.

She leaves a longtime companion, Robert Hutchinson of Brimfield; two sons, Derick and Jonathan Cummings, both of Brimfield; her father, Lawrence Cinq - Mars of Chicopee; and three sisters, Pearl Mosher - Ashley of Hatfield, Betty Cinq - Mars of Kalamazoo, Mich., and Terrie Cinq - Mars of Portland, Ore. She was born and raised in Chicopee, daughter of the late Jeanette (Bouford) Cinq - Mars, and lived 22 years in Brimfield. She attended Cathedral High School, Chicopee.

A graveside service will be private. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Salvation Army, 327 Liberty St., Springfield, MA 01101. Beers and Story Palmer Funeral Home, 1475 North Main St., Palmer, is directing arrangements.

HOLDEN - The funeral for Francis A. Cyr, 77, of 987 Wachusett St., who died Saturday, June 8, will be held Wednesday, June 12, from Arthur S. Manzi & Son Funeral Home and Garden Chapel, 179 Shrewsbury St., with a Mass at 11 a.m. in Our Lady of Mount Carmel - St. Ann Church, 24 Mulberry St. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery. Calling hours are 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 11, in the funeral home.

Mr. Cyr was a Navy veteran of World War II.

Marilyn Dansereau, 66

WORCESTER - Marilyn J. (Knapp) Dansereau, 66, formerly of 9 Merrick St., died Friday, June 7, in UMass Memorial Medical Center - University Campus after an illness.

She leaves two sons, Mitchell Dansereau of Brookfield and Andrew Gosselin of Sante Fe, N.M.; two daughters, Brenda Talbot of Portsmouth, N.H., and Amy Cook of Worcester; a sister, Jennifer Corriveau of Tampa, Fla.; 10 grandchildren; nine great - grandchildren; nieces and nephews. A son, William R. Dansereau Jr., and a daughter, Wendy J. Dansereau, predeceased her. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Clifton and Lillian (Aro) Knapp.

Mrs. Dansereau worked many years as a waitress for various restaurants in the Worcester area before retiring. She also volunteered many years at the Mustard Seed.

A memorial service will be held at a time and date to be announced. Private graveside services will be held Wednesday, June 19, in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. There are no calling hours. Donations may be made to the Mustard Seed, PO Box 2592, Worcester, MA 01613. Mercadante Funeral Home & Chapel, 370 Plantation St., is directing arrangements.

LEICESTER - Marchel L. (Gabree) Dirsa, 73, of 75 Tobin Road, Cherry Valley, died Saturday, June 8, at home after an illness.

Her husband, Philip V. Dirsa, died in 1976. She leaves a son, Michael Dirsa of Cherry Valley; three daughters, Maureen Symonowicz, Kathleen Gaucher, and Ruth Dirsa, all of Leicester; two grandchildren. A son, Philip Dirsa, died in 1950, and a brother, Clinton Gabree, died in 1993. She was born in Newburgh, N.Y., daughter of Clinton and Marion (Dempsey) Gabree.

She was a certified nurse's aide at UMass Memorial Medical Center - Memorial Campus, retiring in 1996.

She enjoyed painting and ceramics.

Anthony P. Dubsky Jr.

WORCESTER - Anthony P. Dubsky Jr., 65, of 10 Pelican Ave., died Wednesday, June 5, in UMass Memorial Medical Center - Memorial Campus.

He leaves two brothers, Richard P. Dubsky of Auburn and Robert E. Dubsky of Worcester; a sister, Kathleen A. Lagacy of Auburn; nephews and nieces. He was born in Worcester, son of Anthony P. and Catherine P. (McGuirk) Dubsky. He graduated from Worcester Boys Trade School in 1954 and Ward Business School. He was a member of the Air National Guard.

Mr. Dubsky was a purchasing agent and supervisor at Hahnemann Hospital for 18 years, retiring last year. He was a member of St. Bernard's Church and enjoyed golfing and bowling.

The funeral will be held Saturday, June 8, from Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln St., with a Mass at 11 a.m. in St. Joseph's Church, 189 Oxford St., Auburn. Burial will be at the family's convenience. Calling hours are 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 7, in the funeral home. Please omit flowers. Donations may be made to Auburn District Nurses, 191 Pakachoag St., Auburn, MA 01501.

Roland J. Dufort, 73

FITCHBURG - Roland J. Dufort, 73, of 715 Blossom St., a Korean War veteran, died Friday, June 7, at home after being stricken ill.

He leaves a brother, Herbert J. Dufort of Fitchburg; four nephews, Herbert J. Dufort Jr., Donald and Thomas Dufort, all of Fitchburg, and David Dufort of Lawrence; and a niece, Elaine Bartok of Twinsburg, Ohio. He was born in Fitchburg, son of Albert and Ruth M. (Swanson) Dufort, and attended Fitchburg High School. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War, stationed in Germany.

Mr. Dufort was a maintenance supervisor at Burbank Hospital for more than 20 years before retiring. He was an active member of Emanuel Lutheran Church, where he was a former Sunday school teacher.

A private funeral will be held Wednesday, June 12, in the Fitchburg Chapel of the Sawyer - Miller - Masciarelli Funeral Homes, 129 Elm St. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Emanuel Lutheran Parish Memorial Fund, 1200 John Fitch Hwy., Fitchburg, MA 01420.

Lillian R. Dupras, 82

GRAFTON - Lillian R. (Henault) Dupras, 82, of 252 Providence Road, South Grafton, died Tuesday, June 11, at home after a long illness.

She leaves her husband of 64 years, Arthur J. Dupras; a daughter, Joy A. Greenfield of Millbury; nieces and nephews. A brother and two sisters predeceased her. She was born and raised in Easthampton, daughter of William and Maimme (Casey) Henault, and lived in Central Falls, R.I., before moving to South Grafton more than 60 years ago.

Mrs. Dupras was a domestic for many Grafton elderly before retiring. She also worked at The House of Affirmation, Whitinsville section of Northbridge, and Millbury Engineering Co., Millbury. She was a member of St. James Church and enjoyed participating in bowling leagues.

The funeral service will be private. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, South Grafton. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to UMass Memorial Hospice, 377 Plantation St., Worcester, MA 01605. Robert C. Roney Funeral Home, 152 Worcester St., North Grafton, is directing arrangements.

Irving Peter Erickson

HOLDEN - Irving Peter Erickson, 87, of 20 Mark Circle, a retired educator, died Sunday, June 2, in Holy Trinity Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Worcester, after an illness.

He leaves his wife of 59 years, Elinor (Brown) Erickson; two sons, Peter B. Erickson of Williamstown and Robert B. Erickson of Huntington, Vt.; a sister, Alice E. Johnson of Kinnelonboro, N.J.; four grandchildren; and four nieces. Two brothers, Robert S. and Franklin C. Erickson, predeceased him. He was born in Worcester, son of Sven A. and Hilda H. (Hendrickson) Erickson, and lived 34 years in Holden. He graduated from North High School, Worcester, and received a master's degree from Clark University.

Mr. Erickson was chairman of the math department and a teacher at Doherty Memorial High School, Worcester, retiring in 1977. Previously, he taught math at Orange High School and Reading High School, was chairman of the math department at Commerce High School, Worcester, and taught part - time at Assumption College, Worcester. He was a member of St. Michael's on the Heights Episcopal Church and Clark University Alumni Association, both in Worcester, White Oaks Conservation Society, Friends of Gale Free Library, Massachusetts Retired Teachers Association, Southern Worcester County Retired Teachers Association, National Educational Association, Fitchburg Art Museum, Massachusetts Audubon Society and The Nature Conservancy. He was an accomplished watercolorist and enjoyed nature and art.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 5, in St. Michael's on the Heights Episcopal Church, 340 Burncoat St., Worcester. Burial will be private in Pine Grove Cemetery, West Brookfield. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to White Oaks Land Conservation Society, PO Box 346, Holden, MA 01520. Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main St., is directing arrangements.
