Janet Robitaille, 69
NORTH ATTLEBORO - Janet Robitaille, 69, of Circle Court died Saturday
afternoon, July 7, 2001 in New England Sinai Hospital, Stoughton.

Born March 17, 1932 in Norwood, she was a daughter of the late Charlie and
Lillian (Harris) Baer. She grew up in Mansfield and was a graduate of
Mansfield High School.

Mrs. Robitaille has been a resident of Cirlce Court since 1996 and resident
of North Attleboro since 1986.

Mrs. Robitaille was an inspector and assembler at Texas Instruments for the
past 7 years. She also worked several years at Handy & Harmon.

Her survivors include two sons, Dean Robitaille of Dighton and Paul
Robitaille of Cranston, RI;
and a daughter, DeAnne Brown of Attleboro; and 9 grandchildren.

She was mother of the late Dana Robitaille and sister of the late Joyce Dixon.

A private funeral service was held in SPERRY & McHOUL FUNERAL HOME, 15 Grove
Street, North Attleboro on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.

Lyle G. Sager, 68
NORTH ATTLEBORO - Lyle G. Sager, 68, of East Street died Saturday evening,
August 25, 2001 in Madonna Manor Nursing Home. He was the husband of Shirley
(Coley) Sager.

Born August 22, 1933 in Magog, Quebec, Canada, he was a son of the late
Leland and Lila (Duquette) Sager.

Mr. Sager grew up in Magog and has been a resident of North Attleboro since
1965.

He retired from Deltran Corp in North Attleboro in February as an inspector
and he had worked in the tool & dye trade and jewelry industry for many years
at many area companies including Texas Instruments, Balfour and Plainville
Stock.

He was an avid supporter of North Attleboro High School sports attending all
of the football home and away games and also loved the Boston Red Sox.

In addition to his wife, survivors include a son, Thomas Sager of Denver,
CO.;

two daughters, Lynn Allard of North Attleboro and Dorothy Rogers of Attleboro;

a sister, Barbara Mandigo of Magog, Canada;

also 4 grandchildren.

Grandfather of Jason and Jessica Allard and Jennifer and Sean Rogers.

A memorial Mass was held on Friday, August 31st at 9 a.m. in St. Mary's
Church, Park Street, North Attleboro. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery,
Attleboro Falls.

Gerald Shaughnessy, 84
ORLEANS - Gerald Shaughnessy, 84, of Hopkins Lane died August 29, 2001 in
his home.

Born October 16, 1916 in Boston, he was a son of the late Frank J. and Mary
A. (O'Gorman) Shaughnessy.

Mrs. Shaughnessy has been a resident of Orleans for the past 15 years was was
a truck driver for the Clark & Reed Co. for many years before retiring over
20 years ago.

He was a member of the Cape Cod Bible Alliance Church in Brewster.

Survivors include two sons, Gerald Shaughnessy of Boston and Thomas M.
Shaughnessy of Canton; 6 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, several
brothers and sisters and many friends and neighbors. He was father of the
late Eileen DeMonte.

A funeral will be held on Saturday, Sept 22 at 4 O'clock p.m. in the Cape Cod
Bible Alliance Church, Rt 6a in Brewster.

Harriet B. Thrall, 63
WELLESLEY - Harriet Bloom Thrall, 63, of Simpson Road died Thursday, August
16, 2001.

Born in Sweden, she was the daughter of the late Gustav and Thyra (Almgren)
Bloom.

She leaves her companion in life, Walter Rockwood of Dover and Wellfleet
a daughter, Pamela Melone of Meredith, NH
a son, Steven Thrall and his wife, Jennifer of Holliston
a brother, Urban and his wife Karin Bloom of Sweden
also 5 grandchildren: William & Mark Melone of Meredith, NH
and Julie, Timothy, and Grant Thrall all of Holliston.

Harriet loved tennis, gardening, music, travel and anything having to do with
Sweden.

She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 9 at 2pm at her home, 14
Simpson Road, Wellesley. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.

In lieu of flowers,donations may be made to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, 295
Devonshire St.; 4th Fl.; Boston, MA 02110

Helen Leboeuf, 71, switchboard operator
ATTLEBORO -- Helen Leboeuf, 71, of Sixth Street, a retired switchboard operator, died Monday at home. She was the widow of Eugene Leboeuf.

Born in Pawtucket on Jan. 12, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Appollonia Hull. She had been raised in Pawtucket and had resided in Attleboro for nearly 50 years. She had attended the Memorial Hospital School of Nursing.

Mrs. Leboeuf had worked for Miriam Hospital in Providence for over 30 years.

She had enjoyed gardening and swimming.

She is survived by two sons, Claude Leboeuf of Warwick, R.I., and Guy Leboeuf of Attleboro; two daughters, Margot Calpin of Attleboro and Faye Leboeuf of Cranston, R.I.; two brothers, Joseph Hull of South Attleboro and John Hull of Cumberland; two sisters, Stephanie Podgurski of Cumberland, R.I., and Mary Carr of Providence; and four grandchildren.

She was the mother of the late Tod, Marc, and Claude Leboeuf.

Services are private.

Arrangements are by the Sperry & McHoul Funeral Home, 15 Grove St., North Attleboro.

Joseph Sarris, 87, business owner

MANSFIELD -- Joseph H. Sarris, 87, a Millis business owner, died Monday in the Caritas Norwood Hospital, Norwood. He was the widower of Margaret (McGirr) Sarris.

Born in Woonsocket, R.I., on March 2, 1916, he was the son of the late George and Agnes (Keegan) Sarris. He had been raised in Millis and was a graduate of Boston College High School, Boston. He received a bachelor of arts degree in 1938 the College of the Holy Cross, Worcester.

Mr. Sarris founded the Central Equipment Co. of Millis, a provider of police equipment.

He was a member of St. Mary's Church.

He is survived by two sons, Joseph Sarris Jr. of Medway and Paul Sarris of Marion; two daughters, Judith Morris of Oswego, N.Y., and Jean Cole of Mattapoisett; and three grandchildren.

A memorial Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday in St. Mary's Church, 330 Pratt St. Burial is private.

Arrangements are by the Sperry & McHoul Funeral Home, 15 Grove St., North Attleboro.

Jerome F. Schmitt Sr.
North Attleboro - Jerome F. Schmitt Sr., 81, former owner and operator of Sayles
Dairy Bar, died Saturday March 9, 2003 in the Northside Hosptal and Heart Institute,
St. Petersburg, FL.

He was the husband of Mary Schmitt, to whom he had been married 61 years.
Born in Baltimore, MD., he had wintered in Florida since 1984

Mr. Schmitt had also worked as a refrigeration and air conditioning mechanic
for Hasbro Inc. of Pawtucket, and Cumberland Farms, Canton

He was a member of the Visually Impaired Association, and was an Army veteran
of World War II

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Mary Laplante of North
Attleboro and Barbara Lumnah of Cumberland, RI.; three son,
Jerome Jr. of North Attleboro, Louis of Warick, RI., and John of South Attleboro; a brother, Herbert
of Glen Burnie, MD.; two sisters, Regina Popp and Helen Blake, both of Baltimore;
10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held in the SPERRY & MCHOUL FUNERAL HOME, 15 Grove Street,
North Attleboro on Saturday, April 5 at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the American Heart Association, 20
Speen St. Framingham, MA 01701 or Perkins Institute for the Blind, 175 North Beacon St.
Watertown, MA 02472
