Frank Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont St. (Rte. 123), Brockton, Thursday at 11 a.m. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. COCHRANE
— In Norwood, after an extended illness, Grace E., Oct. 2, 2003, lifelong resident of Stoughton, age 78 years, beloved daughter of the late Robert L. Cochrane and Gladys M (Ward). Left to mourn by cousins, Alta Carey (Bill), Grace Durant (William), Marilyn Dewar (Jack) and their families in Canada. She was predeceased by cousins, Dwight Kinsman, William Kinsman, Harold Kinsman and Doris Jacques; also the Flaherty family, who were all a great part of her life, especially Linda. Her funeral service will be on Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2003, at 11 a.m. from the First Methodist Church, 103 Pleasant St. (Rte. 139), Stoughton, with the Rev. Henry K. James officiating. Burial will follow in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. Visiting hours are from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2003, from the Sheehan Funeral Home, 115 Monk St. (off Rte. 138 at the First Federal Savings Bank), Stoughton. In lieu of flowers, donations to the First United Methodist Church Memorial Fund, 103 Pleasant St., Stoughton, MA 02072, would be appreciated. — Anthony Peter "Tony," of Falmouth, formerly of Brockton and Newton, on Monday, Oct. 6, loving brother of Bettina Pollock (and her husband Steven) of Ann Arbor, Mich.; dear uncle of Joshua Pollock (and his wife Annette) and Aaron and Ethan Pollock; former husband of Betty Ann (Blum) of Boston; loving friend of Jayne Pope of Falmouth; also survived by many cousins. Services at Congregation Kehillath Israel, 384 Harvard St., Brookline, Thursday, Oct. 9, at 11 a.m. Interment at Crawford Street Memorial Park on Baker Street, West Roxbury. — Rudolph G., of Brockton, formerly of Stoughton, age 80, Oct. 6, husband of Marlene A. (Simonds) (Gill) Giammarco; father of John J. of Wareham, Kathleen M. Gill of Florida, Cindy L. Montello of Canton, Linda Crombie of Stoughton, Marlene P. Gill of Braintree and the late Rudolph R.; brother of James of Walpole and Lena Kenefick of Canton; also survived by nine grand-children. Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rte. 27), Stoughton, on Thursday at 8:15 a.m., followed by a funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton, at 9. Touhey of East Bridgewater and Susan M. Connelly of Hanover; beloved son of Patricia A. (Conlon) Lawlor of Hanson and the late Paul Lawlor; loving brother of David of Hanson, Michael of Medford, Jeffrey of Quincy, Patricia MacDonald of Plymouth, Lisa Leaman of Framingham and the late Stephen Lawlor; proud grandfather of Andrew and Brian Connelly and Kevin Touhey. Black of New Hampshire; also survived by his granddaughter, Ruby, and several nieces and nephews. WHOOTEN
— Helen B. (Labute), 83, of East Bridgewater died Sunday after a period of failing health. Born in Dedham, she was the loving wife of Alverdo (Dody) Whooten. Mrs. Whooten raised her family in Hyde Park and retired from the National Shoe Co. of Dedham. She had a passion for baking and enjoyed family card games. In addition to her husband, she is survived by three daughters, Shirley Kelley of Florida, Jeanne McAuley of East Bridgewater and Patricia Fandel of Walpole; two sons, Wells Whooten of Norton and Paul Whooten of Middleboro; a brother, Girard Labute of Mashpee; two sisters, Joanne Martini of Mashpee and Lillian Boyan of Medway; 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Funeral from the Wales-Prophett Funeral Home, 35 Spring St., East Bridgewater, Wednesday at 9:45 a.m., followed by a funeral Mass at 10:30 in St. John's Church, Central Street, East Bridgewater. Visiting hours Tuesday 4-8 p.m. Interment in Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne. — Of Brockton, Oct. 4, 2003, Richard A. Wolfe, 60 years, husband of Mary Ann (Condon) Wolfe; father of Marc, Vicki, Thomas, John, Donna and Renea. Funeral service in the J.
