Unexpectedly, at home in Brockton, Nov. 7, 2004, Maxine Carol (Pina) Fowler, 58, formerly of New Bedford and Wareham; companion for 28 years of Walter Barboza Sr.; mother of Earl Fowler Jr., Eric Fowler and Mario Fowler (and his wife Rosa), all of New Bedford; stepmother of Darlene Robinson (and her husband Malcolm) of Brockton and Wanda, Walter Jr., Mary, Donna, Darren, Theodore, Sonja and Rebecca Barboza, all of Boston; sister of Lee Pina of Wareham, Donald Pina of Marion, Lenny Pina of Stoughton, Molly Pina and Marie Lee of Wareham, Darlene Cruz of New Bedford and the late Leona Dixon; also survived by 25 grandchildren and three great-grandsons. A funeral will be held at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 13, 2004, from the Stott, Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Highway. (Rt. 28), Wareham, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, Onset. Burial will follow in St. Patrick's Cemetery.
