Frank Bell
1924 - 2000
Frank C. Bell, Sr., 75, of Manchester, NH died July 20, 2000 at his residence after a period of declining health.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, on July 21, 1924, he was the son of Cecilia (Belanger) Bell. He resided in Manchester for most of his life.
Mr. Bell graduated from Saint Joseph High School for Boys.
During World War II, he served with the United States Navy.
Before his retirement in 1989, Mr. Bell worked with GTE Sylvania for sixteen years.
Mr. Bell was a longtime communicant of Blessed Sacrament Church.
He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 92, and held a life membership in the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Mr. Bell was a loving husband, father and grandfather who enjoyed the pleasures of family life.
He and his wife frequently wintered in Venice, Florida. He enjoyed fishing and was an avid bowler.
Family members include his wife of fifty-two years, Theresa (Mooney) Bell of Manchester, NH, three sons, Ernest F. Bell of Manchester, NH, Daniel J. Bell of Manchester, NH, Frank C. Bell Jr. of East Highlands, CA; two daughters, Lee Anne Bell of Satellite Beach, FL, Jane Anne Langley of Manchester, NH; fourteen grandchildren, one great granddaughter; two sisters, Virginia Thompson of Wisconsin, and Marion Desrochers of Taylor, Texas , many nieces and nephews.
Services: Calling hours at the Connor-Healy Funeral Home, 537 Union Street, corner of Concord Street, Manchester, NH, are Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM.
The funeral is Monday at 9: 15 AM from the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated in Blessed Sacrament Church at 10 AM.
Burial will take place in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Manchester, NH.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Visiting Nurse and Hospice Association, 1850 Elm Street, Manchester, NH, 03103.
Courtesy local transportation for the afternoon calling hours will be provided on request by contacting Daniel J. Healy at 622-8223.

June Ingle
1930 - 2000
June E. (Clarke) Ingle, 70, of Manchester, NH, died August 1, 2000, at Catholic Medical Center, after a period of declining health.
Born in Manchester, NH, on June 21, 1930, she was the daughter of Maurice R. and Mabel F. (Runnalls) Watts. She resided in Manchester for most of her life and also lived in Philadelphia, PA for fifteen years.
She attended Manchester schools and was a graduate of Manchester High School Central.
Before her retirement, Mrs. Ingle worked as a receptionist at New Hampshire Insurance Company and AMICA Insurance Co., for many years. .
Mrs. Ingle was a loving mother and grandmother whose granddaughter, Fallon Clarke, was the center of her life.
She was an avid reader and enjoyed cooking for family and friends.
Mrs. Ingle was a communicant of Saint Anthony Church. She was a member of the Association of Marian Helpers of New Hampshire; the Manchester Historical Society and the Smithsonian Institute, Washington , DC.
She was the widow of Edward Ingle.
Family members include two sons, James F. Clarke of Manchester, NH and Michael P. Clarke of Inglewood, Colorado; a daughter, Mrs. Glenn (Lizanne M.) Barry of Manchester, NH; one granddaughter, Fallon Clarke of Manchester, NH; a brother, Maurice Joe Watts, Saint Petersburg, Florida; a sister, Mrs. Timothy (Barbara) Brennan of North Palm Beach, Florida; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services: There are no calling hours.
A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Friday at 10 AM in Saint Anthony Church, Manchester, NH.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donation may be made to Saint Jude Children’s Hospital, 1 St. Jude Place, PO Box 1000, Memphis, TN, 38148-1552; or to the charity of one’s choice.
The Connor-Healy Funeral Home, 537 Union Street, Manchester, NH is in charge of the arrangements.

Richard LaMothe
1924 - 2000
Richard P. LaMothe, 75, of East Providence, RI, died August 18, 2000, at his residence, after a period of declining health.
Born in Manchester, NH, on September 28, 1924, he was the son of Hippolyte and Laura (LaMothe) LaMothe.
In his early years, Mr. LaMothe lived in Manchester, NH. He resided in Warren, RI and Little Compton, RI before moving to East Providence a year ago.
He graduated from Manchester High School Central, Manchester, NH. Mr. LaMothe earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in teaching at Saint Anselm College and received a Masters in Educational Administration from Boston University.
Mr. LaMothe began his teaching career in Kalkaska, MI. After returning to New Hampshire, he was appointed principal of Simonds High School, Warner NH. He taught science and French at Mary V. Quirk Junior High School, Little Compton, RI, from 1960 to 1963.He was a teacher at the Wilbur School , Little Compton from 1963 to 1966. Mr. LaMothe was an original faculty member at the newly-opened Tiverton High School where he taught science and also served as science department head until his retirement in 1988. Mr. LaMothe dedicated his life to the education and advancement of his students.
He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who enjoyed the pleasures of family life. Mr. LaMothe wintered in Naples, Florida for many years.
He held membership in the National Education Association as well as the Rhode Island Education Association . He was a communicant of Saint Thomas the Apostle Church. Warren, RI.
Family member include his wife of fifty-two years, Pauline B. (Tellier) LaMothe of East Providence, RI; a son, Richard P. LaMothe of Somerset, MA; three daughters, Pamela A. White of Barrington, RI and Paulette St. John of Warren, RI and Joan E. Nevins of Barrington, RI; five grandchildren; a brother, Daniel Lamothe, DDS of Pebble Beach CA; a sister, Corinne Plante of Kensington, MD; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was predeceased by a brother Andrew LaMothe.
Services: There are no calling hours.
A memorial mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Monday, August 28th in Saint Thomas Apostle Church, Metacom Ave., Warren, RI, at 10 AM

Anna McDonald
1909 - 2001
Anna M. (OÆShaughnessy) McDonald, 91, of Manchester, NH, died January 1, 2001, at a local health care facility, after a period of failing health.
Born in Randolph, Vermont, on July 28, 1909, she was the daughter of Frederick and Minnie (Hatch) Dumas. She lived in Manchester for most of her life and also resided in Peterborough, NH for twenty years. Mrs. McDonald wintered in Tucson, Arizona.
Mrs. McDonald graduated from Manchester High School Central.
Before her retirement, she worked as a payroll clerk with Felton Brush Company for many years.
She was a former communicant of St. Peter Church, Peterborough, NH, and a longtime communicant of St. Joseph Cathedral, Manchester, NH.
Mrs. McDonald was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed the pleasures of family life.
She was married to Andrew J. O'Shaughnessy , Sr. for fifty years. He died June 20, 1978. She was also married to James McDonald. He died January 16, 1998.
Family members include two sons, Andrew J. O'Shaughnessy, Jr. of Manchester, NH, Thomas D. O'Shaughnessy of Manchester, NH; a daughter, Mrs. Paul (Eileen M.) Racette of Hooksett, NH; two stepsons, Brian McDonald of Dublin, NH, James McDonald of Boring, Oregon; ten grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren; two step grandchildren; five step great-grandchildren; a sister, Thelma Lamper of Sarasota, Florida; several nieces and nephews.
Services: Calling hours at the Connor-Healy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 537 Union Street, corner of Concord Street, Manchester, NH, are Friday from 5 to 8 PM.
The funeral is Saturday at 9: 15AM from the funeral home, followed by a mass of Christian burial to be celebrated at 10 AM in Saint Joseph Cathedral, Manchester, NH.
Urn burial will take place in Saint Joseph Cemetery, Bedford, NH.
Memorial donation may be made to the American Heart Association, New England Affiliate, 20 Merrimack Street, Suite 1, Manchester, NH, 03101.

Eleanor Hart
1918 - 2000
Eleanor Carlen Hart, 82, of Center Road, died at her son’s residence Saturday November 4, 2000 after a lengthy illness.
Born in Warwick, RI, June 4, 1918, the daughter of the late Frederick W. and Mabel (Carlen) Gay, she had lived most of her life in Warwick and Plymouth Mass before moving to Wilton last year. She was a 1935 graduate of Warwick, RI High School and a 1939 graduate of Brown University. She had been employed as a Tax Consultant for H&R Block for 25 years. She was a Founding Charter Member of the New England Carnival Glass Association and the Secretary Emeritus of the American Carnival Glass Assoc. She was a member of the Plymouth Mass Yacht Club and was, until her late 70’s, an avid upland game bird hunter. She was the widow of Linwood Earle Hart Sr. who died in 1992.
Members of her family include three sons, Linwood E. Hart Jr. of Boise, ID, Frederick M. "Rocky" Hart of Wilton, and R. Gregg Hart of Schaumburg, IL. Two daughters, Mrs Karl (Eleanor-Gay) King of Pittsburgh. NH and Mrs. Gregory (Marcia) Jamieson of Plympton, MA. Twelve grand children and seven great-grandchildren. One cousin, Marcia Davis of Milbrook. NY.
Calling hours will be held Monday 7-9 PM at the Nelson Funeral Home 32 Maple Street Wilton, NH
Funeral services will he conducted Tuesday 2 : 00 PM in the Second Congregational Church, Gregg St., Wilton, NH.
Burial will be in the family cemetery in Pawtuxet, RI.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Kings Bridge Equine Rescue League 7 Kings Bridge Road Brimfield, MA 01010.

Angela Mastropieri
1911 - 2000
Angela Mastropieri, 89, of Newton, died Friday evening July 7, 2000 in the Brigham & Women’s Hospital after a long illness. She was 89.
Born and raised in Filicudi, Italy, Mrs. Mastropieri came to the United States at a young age and resided in Waltham for many years before moving to Newton Upper Falls where she has resided for the Past 45 years. She was employed in the Textile Mills of Newton as a Stitcher for many years.
She was daughter of the late Anthony and Maria Rando. She is survived by her loving husband Michael Mastropieri, her sister-in-law Antoinetta Zaccari of Italy, and brother-in-laws Joseph and Biagio Mastropieri both of Italy.
Services will be held from the Brasco & Sons Memorial 773 Moody Street, WALTHAM, on Wednesday morning at 9: 00 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial at Sacred Heart Church, 1317 Centre Street, Newton at 10: 00 a.m. Interment will follow in Saint Joseph’s Cemetery, West Roxbury. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday 7-9 p.m. Parking attendants will be on duty.

1925 - 2000
Bacci - Of Belmont, formerly of Brockton & Watertown, July 11, 2000,
Josephine (Pellegrino) Bacci. Wife of John Bacci and mother of John Bacci of Brockton. Loving & Devoted sister of Anthony Pellegrino and Phillip Pellegrino both of Belmont, Joseph Pellegrino of Cape Cod, Mary Pellegrino and Frances Pellegrino both of Watertown, and the late Nancy Probert and Louis Pellegrino. Also survived by many loving nieces & nephews.
Services will be held from the Brasco & Sons Memorial 325 Trapelo Road, BELMONT on Friday morning at 9: 30 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial at Saint Lukes Church, Belmont at 10: 30 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Thursday 2-6 p.m. Interment Saint Patrick’s Cemetery, Watertown. Parking attendants will be on duty.
