Albert M. Hourihan, 74, died at home on Sunday, December 9 in College Park, MD after a period of failing health. He was the husband of the late Thelma L. (Manning) Hourihan. Born in West Roxbury, MA, Mr. Hourihan was a graduate of Boston Trade School and Northeastern University, Class of 1944 with a degree in Electrical Engineering. He lived in Avon for many years before moving to Maryland over 30 years ago. Mr. Hourihan was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II. He worked as an Electrical Engineer for NAVSEA-NAVSEC in Crystal City, VA for over 30 years after working at Fore River Shipyard in Quincy, MA and Massachusetts Institute of Technology (M.I.T.). He retired in 1995. Mr. Hourihan was an avid bowler, sportsman and golfer. He was a member of Prince William Golf Club in Prince William, VA and Washington Area Navy Golf League in Washington , DC, acting as the Secretary for the leagues for over 20 years.
Mr. Hourihan is survived by his daughters, Kathy L. Kreamer and her husband Mike of College Park, MD, Lisa E. Arch and her husband John Michael of Lusby, MD, Susan D. Cayer and her late husband Gilbert of Tyngsboro, his son, Dana W. Batchelder and his wife Catherine of Stoughton and his brother, Paul Hourihan and his wife Carolyn of Roslindale. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, 3 nephews and 2 nieces and a plethora of golfing buddies in MD, VA and Washington DC.
Funeral Service will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Saturday at 10: 15 AM. Visiting Hours prior to service from 8: 15 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations in Albert's memory may be sent to Georgetown University Hospital, Lombardi Cancer Ctr., 3800 Reservoir Rd., NW, Washington , DC 20007 or American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701. Burial will be at Melrose Cemetery, Brockton.

THOMAS M. CONNOLLY
Visiting Hours: Wednesday, December 11, 4-8 PM.
Funeral Mass: Thursday, December 12, 9 AM, Immaculate Conception Church, 122 Canton Street, Stoughton.
Thomas M. Connolly, 47, died at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston on Sunday, December 8 after a lengthy illness. He was the husband of Patricia A. (Giannone) Connolly. Born in Boston, Mr. Connolly was a graduate of Stoughton High School Class of 1972. He worked as a Computer Test Technician for Teradyne in Boston for many years. He raced stock cars and was a musician, playing guitar with several area bands.
Along with his wife Patricia, Mr. Connolly is survived by his children, Paul D. Connolly of Stoughton, Christopher J. Connolly of Taunton, Jennifer L. Connolly and Scott P. Connolly of N. Easton, as well as his grandchildren, Isaac Connolly and Savanna Nater-Connolly. He is also survived by his brother, Michael S. Connolly of Warner, NH.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Thursday at 8: 15 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 9 AM. Visiting Hours Wednesday 4-8 PM. Interment will take place at VA National Cemetery in Bourne.

HOBART J. "HOBIE" WYNANT
Visiting Hours: Monday, December 9, 6-9 PM.
Funeral Mass: Tuesday, December 10, 9 AM, Immaculate Conception Church, 122 Canton Street, Stoughton.
Hobart J. "Hobie" Wynant, 76, died at the Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton on Saturday. He was the husband of Marion L. (Sharp) Wynant. Born in Pendleton, IN, he was raised and educated in Indiana. Mr. Wynant was also a graduate of Northeastern University. He served in the US Navy in WW II. Mr. Wynant lived in Stoughton for over 50 years. He worked as an Electronics Engineer for Lakewood Communications where he was also the owner. He also worked at Raytheon for over 10 years. Mr. Wynant was a former member of the Knights of Columbus San Salvador Council 200 in Stoughton and the VFW Michael Romanuck Post 1645 in Stoughton.
In addition to his wife Marion, he is survived by his children, Michael F. of Carver, Susan T. Foulsham of Stoughton, Paul A. of Webster, Mark J. of Lakeville and Kevin G. of PA. He was the brother of Robert, Steven and Shirley Wynant all of IN and is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Tuesday at 8: 15 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 9 AM. Visiting Hours Monday 6-9 PM. Donations in Hobie's memory may be sent to American Cancer Assoc. 20 Speen St., Framingham, 01701. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Stoughton.

DOROTHY ANN (GIONET) DOUCET
Visiting Hours: Sunday, December 1, 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
Funeral Mass: Monday, December 2, 10: 15 AM, Immaculate Conception Church, 122 Canton Street, Stoughton.
Dorothy Anne (Gionet) Doucet, 83, died at home in Stoughton on Thursday, November 28 after a lengthy illness. She was the wife of the late Joseph A. "Al" Doucet. Born and educated in Boston, Mrs. Doucet has resided in Stoughton since 1955. She was a homemaker at home with her family and a longtime member of Immaculate Conception Parish in Stoughton.
Mrs. Doucet is survived by her children, Jeanne M. Nichols of Sandwich, Barbara A. Doucet of Stoughton and Robert J. Doucet of Fairborn, OH, as well as her grandchildren, Michael Hall, Stephen and Daniel Doucet and her great-grandchild, Gabriel Hall. She is also survived by her sister, Frances Gionet of Connecticut. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Along with her husband Al, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Lester Gionet, Eloise Gionet and Yvonne Ford.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Monday at 9: 30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 10: 15 AM. Visiting Hours will be held Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Donations in Dorothy's memory may be sent to Alzheimer's Adult Day Program, New England Sinai Hospital Foundation, P.O. BERNARD R. TARPEY
Visiting Hours: Saturday, November 30, 7-9 PM and Sunday, December 1, 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
Funeral Mass: Monday, December 2, 9 AM, Immaculate Conception Church, 122 Canton Street, Stoughton.
Bernard R. Tarpey, 75, died Wednesday morning at home after a lengthy illness. He was the husband of 56 years of Kathryn J. (Scully) Tarpey. Born in Roxbury, he was a graduate of Cathedral High School in Boston, Class of 1944. Mr. Tarpey served in the United States Navy during WWII. Mr. Tarpey worked for the Massachusetts Correctional Institute-Walpole as a Corrections Officer. He retired many years ago. He also worked as a Field Agent for Knights of Columbus Insurance. Mr. Tarpey was very active in the Catholic Church. Through the years, he volunteered his time at St. Patrick's Church in Roxbury, Sacred Heart in Weymouth and at Immaculate Conception Church in Stoughton. Mr. Tarpey was a talented showman and enjoyed acting. He was very active with the Knights of Columbus at a state and local level. He was Past Grand Knight of the Mt. Pleasant Council #98 in W. Roxbury, Past President of Boston Chapter, Past Faithful Navigator of Bishop Chevrus Assembly and a former district deputy. Mr. Tarpey also enjoyed all sports and played softball and basketball. In his free time, he enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles and music.
In addition to his wife Kathryn J. (Scully) Tarpey, he is survived by his children: Bernard G. and his wife Margaret (Gillis) of Brockton, Kevin M. and his wife Carmela (Riley) of S. Boston, Kathryn M. of S. Easton, Veronica M. Silva and her husband Joseph of Brockton, Elizabeth A. Silva and her husband Stephen of Taunton, Thomas R. and his wife Donna (Bello) of Randolph and John F. and his wife Darla (Fowler) of Taunton. He was the brother of Marie V. Tarpey of Fitchburg, Patricia A. Golden of Jaffrey, NH, and the late Dorothy A. Havey and John F. Tarpey. Mr. Tarpey was the brother-in-law of Dr. William B. Havey of Leominster and James G. Saunders of Braintree and is also survived by 22 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Monday at 8: 15 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 9 AM. Visiting Hours Saturday 7-9 PM and Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. JOSEPH A. GENTILE
Visiting Hours: Friday, November 29, 5-8 PM
Memorial Mass: Saturday, November 30, 9 AM, Immaculate Conception Church, 122 Canton Street, Stoughton.
Joseph A. Gentile, 79, died at South Shore Hospital in Weymouth on Tuesday, November 26 after a period of failing health. He was the husband of Maria G. (Antonino) Gentile. Born and educated in Woburn, Mr. Gentile resided in Stoughton for 35 years before moving to E. Bridgewater 3 years ago. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II. Mr. Gentile worked as a heavy equipment operator at Simeone Associates in Stoughton for over 35 years before retiring in 1981. In his free time, Mr. Gentile enjoyed gardening and sports.
In addition to his wife, Maria, Mr. Gentile is survived by his children, Joseph A. Gentile of Stoughton and Linda M. Allen and her husband Robert of E. Bridgewater, as well as his grandson, Robert J. Cattoggio. He is also survived by his brother, James Gentile of N. Attleboro and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by 10 brothers and sisters.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Saturday at 8: 15 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 9 AM. Visiting Hours will be held Friday from 5-8 PM. Interment will take place at Knollwood Memorial Park in Canton.

CLAUDIA J. ULLOCK
Visiting Hours: Monday, November 18, 10-11 AM.
Funeral Service: Monday, November 18, 11 AM, Farley Funeral Home.
Claudia J. Ullock, 49, died unexpectedly Thursday, November 21 at the Morton Hospital in Taunton after a short illness. She was the daughter of Lois M. (Harris) Ullock and the late Harry M. Ullock. Born in Stoughton, she was a long time resident of Stoughton until she moved to Taunton 7 years ago. Miss Ullock was a graduate of Stoughton Schools. She worked for NYNEX for many years. She retired several years ago and also worked for a commercial florist in Bridgewater. In her free time, she enjoyed animals and loved plants and gardening.
In addition to her mother, Lois (Harris) Ullock of Stoughton, she leaves her brother Mark S. Ullock of Stoughton. She is survived by several aunts uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by her father Harry M. Ullock.
Funeral services will be held in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Monday at 11 AM. Visiting Hours prior to service from 10-11 AM. Interment will take place at Evergreen Cemetery in Stoughton. Donations in Claudia's memory may be sent to MSPCA, 1300 W. Elm St. Ext., Brockton, 02301 or to the First Congregational Church, 76 Pierce St., Stoughton.

MARY E. HADDAD-DAVIS
Visiting Hours: Thursday, November 21, 2-4 &7-9 PM.
Funeral Mass: Friday, November 22, 9 AM, Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 1262 Park Street, Stoughton.
Mary Haddad-Davis, 35, died Monday at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston after a long courageous battle with cancer. She was the wife of Victor T. Davis. Born in Boston, she was a graduate of Brockton Schools. Mary worked as a hairdresser at Giovann in Stoughton and at other area shops for the past 18 years. She loved her profession as a hairdresser. In her free time, she enjoyed exercising and spending time with her two children, John and Victoria. Mary's laugh and light will be missed by all who knew her.
In addition to her husband Victor, she is survived by her children, John T. and Victoria E. Davis. She was the daughter of Mildred K. (McDonough) Haddad and her companion Richard Bauer of Bridgewater and Thomas A. Haddad and his wife Claire of Winthrop. She was the sister of Paul A. Haddad and Cheryl A. Haddad both of Stoughton, Stephen E. Haddad of Quincy and Nicholas Valarelli of FL. She is also survived by her best friend Michele Cappiello and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Friday at 8: 15 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Our Lady of the Rosary Church, Stoughton at 9 AM. EVELYN M. (WILLIAMSON) ALLEN
Visiting Hours: Monday, November 18, 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
Funeral Mass: Tuesday, November 19, 10: 15 AM, Immaculate Conception Church, 122 Canton Street, Stoughton.
Evelyn M. (Williamson) Allen, 82, a longtime resident of Stoughton, died unexpectedly Saturday morning at her home. She was the wife of the late Robert F. Allen. Born in E. Weymouth, she was raised in Braintree and was a graduate of Braintree Schools. Mrs. Allen worked for American Biltrite in Stoughton for many years. In her free time, she enjoyed playing bingo, traveling and the outdoors. She was active with the Stoughton Senior Citizens and enjoyed senior activities.
She is survived by her children, Jeanne F. Ebbs of Taunton, formerly of Stoughton, Roberta M. Quintiliani of Osterville and Kathiann Allen of Ware. She was the sister of Mabel Williamson and Irene Hermes both of Abington, Frederick Williamson of Braintree and the late Eleanor Delarzo, Doris Allen, Marion Finn and Harold Williamson. Also survived by 11 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Tuesday at 9: 30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 10: 15 AM. Visiting Hours Monday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Burial will be at Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.

ALAN G. BATES
Visiting Hours: Sunday, November 17, 2-5 PM.
Funeral Service: Monday, November 18, 10 AM, Farley Funeral Home.
Alan G. Bates, 49, died at home in Stoughton unexpectedly on Friday, November 15. He was the son of Ruby M. (Allen) Bates of Stoughton and the late Harold Bates. Born in Boston, Mr. Bates was educated in Boston and Stoughton Schools and graduated from Southeastern Regional School in Easton. He has resided in Stoughton since 1969. Mr. Bates was a truck driver for Rush Auto Parts in Brighton. In his free time Mr. Bates enjoyed spending time with his family and barbecuing.
In addition to his mother Ruby, Mr. Bates is survived by his daughters, Rachel Bates and Rebecca Bates, both of Stoughton, as well as his siblings, Donald Nickerson of Stoughton, Barbara Walsh of Dedham, Harold Bates and Ellen Bates.
Funeral Service will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Monday at 10 AM. Visiting Hours will be held Sunday from 2-5 PM. Interment at Evergreen Cemetery in Stoughton will be private.
