Pedro A. Bettencourt, 82, died Thursday, October 16 at St. Joseph Manor in Brockton. He was the husband of the late Alexandrina R. (Lima) Bettencourt. Born and educated in Cape Verde, Mr. Bettencourt has resided in Stoughton since 1986 after living in New York City for several years. He was a machine operator at Royal Yarn Corp. in Brooklyn, NY for several years.
Mr. Bettencourt is survived by his children, Patrocinio Bettencourt of Holland, Maria Bettencourt of Brockton, Nory Harris of Stoughton and Pedro R. Bettencourt of Connecticut. He is also survived by 4 brothers in Cape Verde, 6 grandchildren and 1 great- grandson.
Graveside Services will be held at Knollwood Memorial Park, High St., Canton on Monday at 10 AM.

PAUL L. GAY
Visiting Hours: Sunday, June 6, 5-8 PM.
Memorial Mass: Monday, June 7, 10 AM, Farley Funeral Home.
Paul L. Gay, 96, died Tuesday, June 1 at the Life Care Center in Plymouth after a period of declining health. He was the husband of the late Amelia (DeSavage) Gay. Born in Stoughton, he was the son of the late Frank and Susan (Brock) Gay. He was a resident of Stoughton until 1973 when he moved to Buzzards Bay. He had lived at the Life Care Center in Plymouth for 3 years. Mr. Gay worked in the fabric industry for most of his life, retiring from Draper Brothers in Canton in 1972. In his free time, Mr. Gay enjoyed gardening and fishing.
Mr. Gay is survived by his children: Richard P. Gay of Brockton, Eleanor M. Corkum of Florida, Robert W. Gay of Delaware and Paul F. Gay of Brockton. He was predeceased by 9 brothers and sisters. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Monday at 10 AM. Visiting Hours Sunday 5-8 PM. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Stoughton.

ROBERT E. FAGERBERG

Funeral Mass: Tuesday, June 1, 10: 15 AM, Immaculate Conception Church, 122 Canton St., Stoughton.
Robert E. Fagerberg, 70, died Friday at the New England Sinai Hospital in Stoughton. He was the husband of Patricia A. (Levins) Fagerberg. Born in Boston, he was a graduate of Hyde Park High School. Mr. Fagerberg was a resident of Stoughton since 1959. He worked as a Machinist at Danco Manufacturing in Attleboro, a company where he was part owner. He retired 5 years ago. Mr. Fagerberg was an avid golfer and a member of Sharon Country Club.
In addition to his wife Patricia A. (Levins) Fagerberg, he leaves his children, Catherine P. Homer of Bridgewater and Richard E. of Stoughton. He was the brother of Richard E. of Brockton, Ruthanne F. Henry of FL, Pauline Jewett of Billerica, William S. of TX, Thomas G. of FL and the late John G. and Janet E. Dinn. He was the brother in law of Thomas J. Levins of Stoughton with whom he made his home, Nicholas J Levins of Hingham and William P. Levins of Oak Ridge, TN. He is also survived by his three grandchildren, Ryan Homer, Nicholas Fagerberg and Christine Homer.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Tuesday at 9: 30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 10: 15 AM. Visiting Hours Monday 4-8 PM. Donations in Bob's name may be made to New England Sinai Hospital, 150 York St., Stoughton, 02072. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery, Stoughton.

BRIAN D. CARRARA, SR.

Funeral Mass: Friday, May 28, 9 AM, Immaculate Conception Church, 122 Canton St., Stoughton.
Brian D. Carrara, Sr., 38, died at Brigham & Women's Hospital in Boston after a period of failing health. He was the husband of Karen M. (Belmont) Carrara. Born in Somerville, he was educated in Stoughton schools and graduated from Southeastern Regional Technical High School in Easton, Class of 1984. Mr. Carrara resided in Brockton since 1988 after living in Stoughton for many years. He was an Excavating Contractor for B and C Construction, the family owned business in Stoughton where he worked for 15 years. He was a member of the CW Welch Fish and Game Preserve in Stoughton. In his free time he enjoyed hunting, fishing, vacationing in Maine and restoring old vehicles.
In addition to his wife, Karen, Mr. Carrara is survived by his son, Brian D. Carrara, Jr. of Brockton, his parents, Patrick H. Carrara, Jr. of Stoughton and Janet (Gandolfo) Kendall and her husband Sherman of Austin, Texas and his brothers, Robert Peters of Anchorage, AK, Scott D. Carrara and Patrick H. Carrara, III both of Stoughton.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Friday at 8: 15 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 9 AM. Visiting Hours Thursday 2-4 & 6-9 PM. Interment will take place in Maine at a later date. Donations in Brian's name may be made to Dana Farber Cancer Institute, 44 Binney St., Boston 02215.

DOLORES T. (ANASTASIO) McSHARRY
Visiting Hours: Thursday, May 27, 5-8 PM.
Memorial Mass: Friday, May 28, 10 AM, Farley Funeral Home.
Dolores T. (Anastasio) McSharry, 71, died at the Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton on Sunday, May 23 after a period of failing health. She was the wife of the late Francis McSharry. Born and educated in Quincy, Mrs. McSharry resided in Stoughton for 35 years. She was a security guard at Goddard Hospital in Stoughton and then Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton for 27 years before retiring in June 2000. She also worked at the Conway House Homeless Shelter in Middleboro.
Mrs. McSharry is survived by her children, Brian McSharry of Las Vegas, NV, Kevin F. McSharry of North Carolina, Cheryl A. Cogan of Bridgewater, Denise Johnson and Christopher McSharry both of Florida. She is also survived by her brothers, Ronald Anastasio of Brockton and Brian Anastasio of Holbrook, her sisters, Donna Welsh of Minnesota and Deborah Anastasio of Quincy, 7 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Prayers will be offered from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Friday at 10 AM. Visiting Hours Thursday 5-8 PM. Interment will be private. Donations in Dolores' name may be made to American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, 01701.

ALBINA A. (BLAIZIS) CZYRAS

Albina A. (Blaizis) Czyras, 77, died unexpectedly on Sunday, May 23 at the Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. She was the wife of the late John Czyras. Born in Stoughton, Mrs. Czyras was a graduate of Stoughton High School and a lifelong resident of Stoughton. She was a housewife at home with her family. In her free time she enjoyed crocheting, ceramics and working in her yard.
Mrs. Czyras is survived by her children, Andrew J. Czyras of Utah, Helen A. Fontanez of E. Wareham, Edmund J. Czyras of Stoughton, Diane M. Holet of GA and Richard E. Czyras of Canton. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, John, she was preceded in death by her brother, Joseph Blaizis and her sister, Bronie Sheehan.
Memorial Mass will be held at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton on Saturday at 9 AM. Visiting Hours omitted. Interment will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Stoughton. Arrangements by Farley Funeral Home, Stoughton.

CONCEICAO D. (BRAGA) CABRAL

Funeral Service: Wednesday, May 26, 9 AM, Immaculate Conception Church, 122 Canton St., Stoughton.
Conceicao D. (Braga) Cabral, 84, died at the Copley at Stoughton on Sunday, May 23 after a lengthy illness. She was the wife of the late Antonio J. Cabral. Born and educated in Azores, Portugal, Mrs. Cabral was a resident of Stoughton since 1981. She was a housewife at home with her family.
Mrs. Cabral is survived by her son, Edward C. Cabral of Stoughton, her grandchildren, Paul E. Cabral and Krystle S. Cabral and her sisters, Maria R. Sousa, Filomena Sousa and Alexandria Soares all of Stoughton. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Wednesday at 8: 15 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 9 AM. Visiting Hours Tuesday 5-8 PM. Interment will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Stoughton.

JASON J. PULIAFICO

Jason J. Puliafico, 31, died unexpectedly at the Brockton Hospital on Friday, May 21. He was the husband of Crystal L. (Maniaci) Puliafico. Born in Newton, Mr. Puliafico was a graduate of Southeastern Regional High School in Easton, Class of 1991. He lived in Brockton for most of his life, including the last 2 years, after serving in the U.S. Air Force for 9 years. He worked as a document destruction specialist for Brinks Security in Hyde Park for the last 2 years.
In addition to his wife Crystal, Mr. Puliafico is survived by his children, Christopher R. Puliafico and Cierra A. Puliafico both of Brockton, his parents, James D. and Armida J. (Consoli) Puliafico of Brockton and his brother, Christopher J. Puliafico of Stoughton. He is also survived by his grandparents, Joseph and Frances (Vinciullo) Consoli of Brockton and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral Service will be held from the Brookville Baptist Church, 871 S. Franklin St., Holbrook on Tuesday at 11 AM. Visitation will be held at the church prior to the service from 10-11 AM. Interment will take place at VA National Cemetery in Bourne. Arrangements by Farley Funeral Home, Stoughton.

ALBERTO S. AMADO

Funeral Service: Friday, May 21, 10 AM, Seventh Day Adventist Church, 65 West Elm St., Brockton.
Alberto S. Amado, 94, died Monday, May 17, at the Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. He was the husband of 70 years of Benvinda T. (Teixeira) Amado. Born and educated in Cape Verde, he worked as a carpenter there before moving to the US in 1976. He was a resident of Brockton for 16 years before moving to Stoughton 5 years ago. He was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Brockton.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Coutinho of Dorchester, Ana and Palmira S. both of Everett, Eduarda T. and Maria Marcelina Amado both of Somerville, Francisca T. Amado Vasconcelos of FL, Caitano S. and Orlando L. of Portugal, Benvindo B. S. of Stoughton and the late Antonio T. He was the brother of Lourenca Cardoso of Cape Verde. Predeceased by 1 sister and 5 brothers. Also survived by 58 grandchildren and 95 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held in the Seventh Day Adventist Church, 65 West Elm Street, Brockton on Friday at 10 AM. Visiting hours from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Thursday from 5-9 PM. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Stoughton.

RICHARD D. STORK

Funeral Service: Friday, May 21, 10 AM, First Evangelical Lutheran Church, 900 Main St., Brockton.
Richard D. Stork, a lifelong resident of Brockton, died Monday, May 17 at home after a period of failing health. He was the husband of Barbara (Crane) Stork for 50 years. Born in Brockton, Mr. Stork was a graduate of Brockton High School Class of 1950. He was in the U.S. Army Reserve. Mr. Stork was a truck driver for Cape Cod Overland in Avon and Fowler's Express in Easton for 37 years before retiring 9 years ago. He was also a member of Teamsters 653 in Boston and the U.S. Army Reserve. In his free time Mr. Stork loved making breakfast for his family, relaxing in his backyard while listening to his music and fishing. He also loved his dog, Dooley.
In addition to his wife, Barbara, Mr. Stork is survived by his children, Cheryl Stork-Pierce of Raynham, David R. Stork of Taunton and Jodi Stork-Schultz of Boston, as well as his grandchildren, Jarad and Jill Pierce, Noelle, Aaron and Nathan Stork and Christopher Rick Schultz. He is also survived by his siblings, Lois Griffin of CT, Barbara White of Marshfield, Robert Stork and Sandra Krafton both of Sandwich, Judy LeBlanc of Easton and Diane Matta of Avon. He was preceded in death by his son, Richard B. Stork, his brother, John Stork and his sister, Mildred Champayne. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Friday at 9 AM followed by a Funeral Service at First Evangelical Lutheran Church, Brockton at 10 AM. Visiting Hours Thursday 4-8 PM. Interment will take place at Avon Cemetery in Avon.
