Lois (Buckle) Spritzer, 75, died Tuesday at the Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. She was the wife of 52 years of Joseph A. Spritzer. Born in Newton, she was a graduate of Newton Schools and a longtime resident of Stoughton. Mrs. Spritzer worked as an accountant for Landa & Altscher in Canton and Randolph and also worked as a Teacher's Aide in the Stoughton Schools. She was active with the Golden Rays Junior Drum & Bugle Corps as a coordinator and manager. In her free time, she enjoyed playing bingo.
In addition to her husband Joseph, Mrs. Spritzer is survived by her children; Annabel Toomey of Bridgewater, Kenneth Spritzer of Brockton and Karen Spritzer of CA. She was predeceased by her son Karl J. Spritzer, 2 sisters and one brother. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held from Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., Stoughton on Friday at 9 AM. Visiting Hours Thursday 5-8 PM. Donations in Lois' name may be made to American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701. Interment will be private.

SALLY G. (HANKUS) PIOTROWICZ

Funeral Mass: Friday, July 16, 10: 15 AM, Immaculate Conception Church, 122 Canton St., Stoughton.
Sally G. Piotrowicz, 88, died Monday, July 12 at Cedar Hill Health Care in Randolph after a lengthy illness. She was the wife of Stephen S. Piotrowicz. Born and educated in Lawrence, Mrs. Piotrowicz lived in Dorchester for many years before moving to Stoughton in 1972. She was a switchboard operator for the U.S. government for many years before retiring in 1980. She was a member of the VFW Post 1645 Ladies Auxiliary in Stoughton.
In addition to her husband Stephen, Mrs. Piotrowicz is survived by her son, Edward Peters of E. Campton, NH, her grandchildren, Michael, Mary and Ann Peters and her sister, Carolyn Hankus of Wilmington.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Friday at 9: 30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 10: 15 AM. Visiting Hours Thursday 4-8 PM. Interment will take place at Blue Hill Cemetery in Braintree.

JASON J. FARWELL

Funeral Mass: Monday, July 12, 10: 30 AM, St. Bridget's Church, 455 Plymouth Street, Abington.
Jason J. Farwell, 17, died Friday, July 9 at Children's Hospital in Boston after a short battle with leukemia. He was the son of James F. and Karen M. (Chalmers) Farwell of Brockton. A lifelong resident of Brockton, Jason had just completed his junior year at Southeastern Regional Technical High School in Easton, where he was a plumbing major. Jason played football and wrestled in high school. He also enjoyed biking and skateboarding.
In addition to his parents, Jason is survived by his sisters, Jamie L. Farwell and her fiancé Luke Taber of Lawrence and Jill M. Farwell and her boyfriend Luke Pedro of Brockton. He is the grandson of William F. and Rose M. (Prouty) Farwell of Brockton and Joan E. (Shannahan) Anderson of Abington. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Eugene E. Anderson and James H. Chalmers, Jr.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Monday at 9: 15 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Bridget's Church, Abington at 10: 30 AM. Visiting Hours Sunday 3-8 PM. Interment will take place at Evergreen Cemetery in Stoughton. ANNIE FREEMAN

Annie (Wihanto) Freeman, 93, died at Longmeadow of Taunton Nursing Home on Monday, July 5. She was married for 41 years to the late William H. Freeman. Born and educated in Quincy, Mrs. Freeman lived in Stoughton for most of her life. She was also a longtime resident of Norton and spent her final few years at the Longmeadow of Taunton Nursing Home. She owned Freeman's Grocery in Jackson, NH with her husband for several years before retiring over 25 years ago. Mrs. Freeman was a very talented artist and skilled seamstress. She enjoyed spending time with friends and family.
Mrs. Freeman is survived by her children, William J. Freeman of Sutton, Anna May Moss of Utah and Roberta L. Mann of Norton as well as 10 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. Along with her husband, William, she was preceded in death by her sons, James W. Freeman and Richard R. Freeman and her sisters, Bertha Backer and Martha Wihanto.
Memorial Service will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Saturday, July 17 at 2 PM. Visiting Hours omitted. Interment will be private.

EDWARD P. CICCONI

Edward P. Cicconi, 69, died at home in Stoughton on Tuesday, July 6 after a period of failing health. He was the husband of Edda R. (Mangiaratti) Cicconi. Born in Boston, Mr. Cicconi was a graduate of Milton High School, Class of 1953 and Boston College, Class of 1957. He resided in Stoughton for 39 years after growing up in East Milton. Mr. Cicconi was a U.S. Air Force Veteran early in the Vietnam Era. He was an advertising salesman for Associated Newspapers in Stoughton and Harte-Hanks Communications in Waltham for over 35 years before retiring at age 62. Mr. Cicconi was a member of the Knights of Columbus in Quincy and the Elks in Milton. In his free time he loved going to the beach and spending time with his family.
In addition to his wife Edda, Mr. Cicconi is survived by his children, Cara A. Hafferty and her husband John of Dorchester and Edward P. Cicconi, Jr. and his fiancée Rachel Wood of Stoughton, as well as his granddaughter, Cecilia R. Hafferty.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Saturday at 9: 15 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 10: 15 AM. Visiting Hours Friday 4-8 PM. Interment will take place at Knollwood Memorial Park in Canton. Donations in Ed's name may be made to American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, 01701.

ROBERT F. IVENS

Funeral Service: Friday, July 9, 10 AM, Messiah Baptist Church, 80 Legion Parkway, Brockton.
Robert F. Ivens, 66, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 6 at the Brockton Hospital. Born in Boston, he was educated in Dedham schools and has resided in Brockton for 38 years. Mr. Ivens was the owner and printer of Minuteman Press in Brockton for the past 22 years. He built and installed elevators in the Boston area for 22 years before that and was a member of the International Union of Elevator Constructors(IUEC) Local 4 in Boston. In his free time Mr. Ivens enjoyed gardening and playing the guitar. He also won an Elvis competition on a cruise in May.
Mr. Ivens is survived by his daughters, Donna M. Moffat of Middleboro, Sharon M. Halter of Brockton and Eileen A. Ivens of Westfield, as well as his fiancée, Faith Victoria Tuck of Brockton. He is the brother of Ann DiBenedetto of Melrose, Ethel G. Notrem of Weymouth, Lawrence Howland of Quincy, Eunice Farrell of Dorchester, Cynthia McKinnon of Brockton, Joseph Howland of Attleboro and Francis Howland of Braintree and the former husband of Marie T. (Leavey). He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Friday at 9 AM followed by a Funeral Service at Messiah Baptist Church, Brockton at 10 AM. Visiting Hours Thursday 4-8 PM. Interment will take place at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Dorchester. Donations in Robert's name may be made to American Heart Assn., 20 Speen St., Framingham, 01701 or MSPCA, 1300 W. Elm St. Ext., Brockton, 02301.

HAROLD D. CLINCH

Harold D. Clinch, 86, died at Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton on Saturday, July 3. He was the husband of Eleanor Z. (Alger) Clinch. Born in Brunswick, ME, Mr. Clinch was educated in Brighton and Brookline schools. He resided in Stoughton since 1956. Mr. Clinch was a U.S. Army Air Corps Veteran of World War II, serving in Burma and India. He was a security guard at M.I.T. and Draper Lab in Cambridge for over 30 years before retiring in 1983. He was also a proprietor of Jenny Gas Station in Brighton.
In addition to his wife, Eleanor, Mr. Clinch is survived by his children, Louise H. Vinton and her husband Donald of Foxboro, Guy A. Clinch of Stoughton, Jean A. O'Loughlin of N. Easton and Neal C. Clinch and his wife Nancy of Brockton as well as his sister, Doris Fetterhoff of Waltham and his sisters-in-law, Bernice Woodman of FL and Marge Clinch of Waltham. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and several nephews. He was preceded in death by his twin brother, Harland Clinch.
Funeral Service will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Friday at 10 AM. Visiting Hours Thursday 5-8 PM. Interment will take place at Evergreen Cemetery in Stoughton. NAOMI C. (KENNEDY) MARAGHY

Naomi C. (Kennedy) Maraghy, 83, formerly a teacher from Stoughton, who was known for her ready and radiant smile, died at The Edgewood Centre in Portsmouth, NH on Friday, July 2 after a long struggle with heart problems complicated by diabetes. She was the widow of Boston District Fire Chief Walter A. Maraghy, who died October 1, 1996. Born in Allentown, PA, April 24, 1921, Mrs. Maraghy was the daughter of the late Harry J. and Carrie (Kistler) Kennedy. She was a graduate of South Whitehall High School (South Whitehall Township, PA), where she was president of her class; and of Cedar Crest College in Allentown, PA, where she performed in a number of Greek plays. Following her graduation from college in 1943, she acted in summer stock at White Horse Beach Theater on Massachusetts' south shore and began her first teaching job as an instructor of high school English and Latin that fall in Coopersburg, PA.
In 1947, she married Walter A. Maraghy of Boston with whom she had corresponded during World War II at the suggestion of her cousin, who was a shipmate of Mr. Maraghy's in the Navy. After rearing her son and making a home in Charlestown, Dorchester and Stoughton, she returned to teaching-first as a substitute teacher at Stoughton High School and then as an eighth grade English teacher at Stoughton Junior High School. When her formal teaching years ended she did private tutoring, taught English as a second language, recorded Books on Tape for Stoughton Public Library and was a member of the Stoughton Women's Club. She was a breast cancer survivor.
She enjoyed playing the organ, crafts, knitting and needlework and had traveled throughout Canada and the U.S., as well as Ireland, Austria and Germany. She was a communicant of Immaculate Conception Church in Stoughton.
Mrs. Maraghy is survived by her son, Gerald M. Maraghy and his wife Helene of Brunswick, ME, her grandsons, Christopher A. Maraghy and his wife Christine of St. Petersburg, FL and Michael A. Maraghy and his significant other, Miss Reagan Campbell of Windham, ME and her brother, Cleve L. Kennedy and his wife Beverly of Salem, VA. She also leaves a niece, Judy Hallman of Macungie, PA and her family, and two nephews, David Kennedy of Macungie, PA and Kevin Ryle of Wilmington, MA and their families.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Tuesday at 8: 15 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 9 AM. Visiting Hours Monday 6-8 PM. Interment will take place at Blue Hill Cemetery in Braintree. In lieu of flowers, donations in Naomi's name may be made to American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, 01701 or American Diabetes Assn., 330 Congress St., 5th Floor, Boston, 02210.

ROBERT F. MALIFF

Funeral Mass: Tuesday, July 6, 10 AM, Holy Cross Church, 225 Purchase St., Easton.
Robert F. Maliff, 71, a longtime resident of Easton, died Thursday, July 1, at the Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston. He was the husband of Nancy B. (Burbridge) Maliff. Born in Boston, he was raised in Easton and was a graduate of Oliver Ames High School, Class of 1950 and University of Massachusetts in Amherst, Class of 1954. He was a veteran of the US Army during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Maliff was the owner of McCarthy Coal in Easton for over 40 years. He retired in 1993. Mr. Maliff was a volunteer for the Easton Fire Dept. and also was a trustee at North Easton Savings Bank in Easton. Mr. Maliff enjoyed his retirement and living in FL, where he was a resident since 1994. In his free time he enjoyed working out and gardening.
In addition to his wife, Nancy, he is survived by his children, Patricia Maliff of Taunton, Kevin Maliff of Easton, Michael Maliff of Bridgewater and Joanne Maliff of Easton and his sister, Alice DeCouto of Brewster. He is also survived by his stepsons, Shaun E. O'Hare and Timothy P. O'Hare both of FL, 5 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Tuesday at 9 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Holy Cross Church, Easton at 10 AM. Visiting Hours Monday 4-8 PM. Donations in Bob's name may be made to Pan-Mass Challenge c/o Dr. James DeCaprio, MD, Dana Farber Cancer Institute, Development Services, 10 Brookline Place West, Brookline, 02445. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery, Stoughton.

FRANCIS W. DRISCOLL

Funeral Mass: Wednesday, July 7, 10: 15 AM, Immaculate Conception Church, 122 Canton St., Stoughton.
Francis W. "Frank" Driscoll, 87, died at home in Stoughton on Thursday, July 1 after a lengthy illness. He was the husband of Rita M. (Kelley) Mabee Driscoll and the late Mary (O'Shea) Driscoll. Born in Charlestown, Mr. Driscoll was educated in Boston schools. He resided in Stoughton since 1960. He was a machinist at Gillette in S. Boston for over 25 years before retiring in 1975. In his free time he enjoyed gardening, working in his yard and traveling.
In addition to his wife Rita, Mr. Driscoll is survived by his children, Steven Driscoll of CA and Marie Phelan and her husband Jim of NH and his stepchildren, Janet Fawcett of CA and Arthur Mabee and his wife Marianne of Dedham. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Wednesday at 9: 15 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 10: 15 AM. Visiting Hours Tuesday 5-8 PM. Interment will take place at Knollwood Memorial Park in Canton. Donations in Frank's name may be made to Hospice of Greater Brockton, 500 Belmont St., Brockton, 02301.
