JAMES J. BERTRAM, SR.

James J. Bertram, Sr., 77, died at Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton on Wednesday, June 30 after a brief illness. He was the loving husband of Mary Dolores (Collins) Bertram. Born in Oak Park, Illinois, Mr. Bertram was a graduate of Fenwick High School Class of 1944 in Oak Park, IL and DePaul University in Chicago, where he was a member of Delta Sigma Phi. He has resided in Stoughton since 1953. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran of World War II. Mr. Bertram was a sales engineer for Micro Switch Division of Honeywell in Boston for 31 years until 1987 and then worked at Controller Sales & Service in Avon for 10 years before retiring in 1998. Mr. Bertram and his wife wintered in Siesta Key, FL for the past 20 years. An avid reader and history buff, he also enjoyed building model trains and ships and spending time with his family.
In addition to his wife Mary, Mr. Bertram is survived by his children, James J. Bertram, Jr., Cpt. Stoughton FD and his wife Paula of Stoughton, John E. "Jack" Bertram and his wife Susan of Milton, Mary Beth Meyer and her husband Gerry of Easton, Richard C. Bertram and his wife Karen of Middleboro and Paul C. Bertram and his wife Kimberly of Easton. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Y. Welter.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Wednesday at 9 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at St. James Church, Stoughton at 10 AM. Visiting Hours Tuesday 4-8 PM. Interment will take place at Evergreen Cemetery in Stoughton. Donations in Jim's name may be made to Stoughton Firefighters Local 1512, 30 Freeman St., Stoughton, 02072.

ROBERT C. DURLING
Visiting Hours: Tuesday, June 29, 5-8 PM.
Funeral Mass: Wednesday, June 30, 10: 15 AM, Immaculate Conception Church, 122 Canton St., Stoughton.
Robert C. Durling, 46, died Friday, June 25 at home in Attleboro. He was the husband of Stephanie (Saquet) Durling. Born in Brockton, he was raised in Stoughton and a graduate of Stoughton Schools. Mr. Durling was a veteran of the US Army. Mr. Durling was a resident of Attleboro for many years. He worked as a janitor. In his free time, he enjoyed all sports, including basketball and football and also playing pool.
In addition to his wife Stephanie, he is survived by his daughters, Paulette of RI and Christine of Attleboro. He is the son of Ralph E. Durllng of NH and the late Jean E. (Clark). He was the brother of Ralph M. Durling, Jr. of New Bedford, Maureen Lombardi of Taunton, James R. Durling and David J. Durling both of NH. He is also survived by 2 grandchildren.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Wednesday at 9: 30 followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 10: 15 AM. Visiting Hours Tuesday 5-8 PM. Donations in Rob's name may be made to American Heart Assoc., 20 Speen St., Framingham, 01701. Interment will take place at Rock Ridge Cemetery in Sharon.

RICHARD K. CORSON

Richard K. "Bud" Corson, 87, died Sunday at the Oak Hill Nursing & Rehabilitation Facility in Middleboro. He was the husband of the late Eleanor (Savini). Born in Toledo, OH, he was a graduate of Toledo Schools and Denison University. He had been a resident of Massachusetts for over 50 years. Mr. Corson owned Corson's Service Station in Brockton for many years and also was a salesman for Northeastern Pertoleum. He retired at age 55. He was a longtime member of Alcoholics Anonymous. In his free time, he enjoyed boating and being on the ocean.
He is survived by his children: Joan M. Del Pozzo of Pembroke, W. Kent Corson of Hanson and Marcia J. McEntee of Brockton. He was predeceased by his wife Eleanor (Savini) and his sisters Dorothy Mahoney and Margaret Husted. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Visiting Hours will be held in the Farley Funeral Home 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Thursday from 4-8 PM. Funeral Services will be private. Burial will be at a later date at VA National Cemetery, Bourne. Donations in Bud's name may be made to the Aalheimer's Assoc, 36 Cameron Ave, Cambridge, 02140.

BRADLEY M. LESSA

Funeral Mass: Thursday, September 2, 10: 15 AM, Immaculate Conception Church, 122 Canton St., Stoughton.
Bradley M. Lessa, 3, died accidently on Saturday, August 28, at his home. He was the beloved son of Kenneth J. and Lisa M. (Catherall) Lessa. Born in Newton, he was a pre-school student at the Jones School in Stoughton. He enjoyed playing outside with his big brother and puzzles.
In addition to his parents Ken and Lisa, he leaves his beloved brother and sister, Jonathon J. and Morgan E. of Stoughton. He was the grandson of Bennett and Kathleen (Mohamet) Catherall of Foxboro and the late Joseph and Alice (Rodericks) Lessa. He was the greatgrandson of Ruth Catherall of Foxboro. He was the nephew of Mark Catherall of Mansfield and Brenda Sjoquist and her husband Cliff of Stoughton. He is also survived by 3 cousins and extended family.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Thursday at 9: 15 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 10: 15 AM. Visiting Hours Wednesday 5-8 PM. His family has asked that donations in Bradley's name to be used for the purchase of books and supplies may be made to the Stoughton Public Schools Pre School Account, 232 Pearl St. Stoughton, 02072. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery, Stoughton.

JANET T. (TINKER) HEBB

Janet T. (Tinker) Hebb, 92, a longtime resident of Stoughton, died Wednesday, August 25, at the Goddard Rehabilitation Hospital in Stoughton. She was the wife of the late Winston P. Hebb. Born in Nashua, NH, she was a graduate of Nashua High and Wellesley College in Wellesley. She was very active in Stoughton Politics as both a longtime Town Meeting Rep and a member of the Zoning Board of Appeals. She was a member of the League of Women Voters, the American Civil Liberties Union, the Capen-Reynolds Farm Restoration Committee and the First United Methodist Church in Stoughton. In her free time, she enjoyed sewing, crafts and was a volunteer at the Church Fair.
She is survived by her sons, David of Cambridge and John P. and his wife Linda of Easton. She was the sister of Rebecca Taylor of VA, Joseph Tinker of ME and the late John Tinker, Robert Tinker and Charlotte Tinker. She is also survived by her grandchildren Christopher, Kathleen, Kevin and Molly Hebb.
A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday at 11 AM at the First United Methodist Church, 109 Pleasant St., Stoughton. Visiting Hours Omitted. Arrangements by Farley Funeral Home, Stoughton. Donations in her memory may be made to the American Red Cross, POB 37243, Washington , DC 20013.

ADELE L. (LUCAS) CARON

Adele L. (Lucas) Caron, 91, died Thursday at the Brockton Hospital in Brockton. She was the wife of Daniel A. Caron, Jr. Born in Stoughton, she was a lifelong resident of Stoughton. Mrs. Caron was the owner of Adele's Dress Shoppe in Stoughton for over 40 years. She retired over 10 years ago. Prior to her marriage, she was a stenographer for the New Haven Railroad. She was a member of the Stoughton Chamber of Commerce and the former President of the Lithuanian National Hall in Stoughton. She was a talented artist.
Funeral Mass will be held from the Immaculate Conception Church, 122 Canton St., Stoughton on Monday at 9 AM. Visiting Hours omitted. Interment will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Stoughton. Donations in Adele's name may be made to the Humane Society, 2100 L St. NW, Washington , DC 20037-1598.

UNWOR A. HAMDEED

Unwor A. Hamdeed, 75, died at the Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton on Thursday, August 26. He was the husband of the late Frances J. (Parker) Hamdeed. Born and educated in Boston, Mr. Hamdeed has resided in Stoughton for over 20 years. He was a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran of World War II. Mr. Hamdeed was a cab driver for ITOA in South Boston for over 40 years and then worked at Fabreeka International in Stoughton for 7 years before retiring 2 years ago.
Mr. Hamdeed is survived by his sons, Mitchell Hamdeed of CO and Ralph Hamdeed of Holbrook, his daughters, Laura Lennon of Raynham, Linda Nastar of Norton, Rosemary Mulhern of Attleboro, Diane Sheehy of NH, Kathleen Theobald of Taunton and June Vesey of E. Bridgewater and his brothers, Ralph Hamdeed of Halifax and Ali Hamdeed of Stoughton. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his brother, Mo Hamdeed.
Funeral Service will be held from the Farley Funeral Home 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Monday at 11 AM. Visiting Hours prior to service from 10-11 AM. Interment will take place at Knollwood Memorial Park in Canton.

FRANCES C. "MOM" CASS

Frances C. "Mom" Cass, 95, died at Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton on Tuesday, August 24 after a period of failing health. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Martha (Duffy) Cass. Born and educated in Boston, she was a resident of Stoughton since 1953. She was a homemaker.
Miss Cass was survived by her sisters, Madeline Fisher of Wilmington and Joan M. Cass of Stoughton. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Joseph J. Cass, Robert W. Cass and Richard J. Cass and her sister, Harriet McGrath.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Friday at 8 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at St. James Church, Stoughton at 9 AM. Visiting Hours Thursday 4-7 PM. Interment will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Stoughton.

ALICE A. (McDONALD) LEONARD

Alice A. (McDonald) Leonard, 81, died Wednesday, August 18 at the Copley at Stoughton Nursing Home in Stoughton. She was the wife of the late Michael J. Leonard. Born in Boston, she was a graduate of Boston Schools. Mrs. Leonard worked for J.W. Wood Elastic Web and the Kendall Company both in Stoughton and at the Stoughton Town Hall. Mrs. Leonard was a member of the Westgate Mall Senior Club. In her free time, she enjoyed reading.
Mrs. Leonard was the mother of Michael P. Leonard of Pocasset, Richard F. Leonard of IN and the late William J. Leonard. She was the grandmother of Robyn, April and Jeanine Leonard and Stacey Morrison and was the great-grandmother of Aryn.
Funeral services will be held in the Farley Funeral Home 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Monday, Aug. 23 at 10 AM. Visiting Hours prior to service from 9-10 AM. Interment will take place at Knollwood Memorial Park in Canton.

MURIEL C. (CUNNINGHAM) DYKEMAN

Muriel C. (Cunningham) Dykeman, 80, died at home in Stoughton on Sunday, August 8 after a period of failing health. She was the wife of the late Louis E. Dykeman. Born in Worcester, Mrs. Dykeman was a graduate of Stoughton High School and resided in Stoughton for most of her life. She was a housewife at home with her family and volunteered at the Caritas Cardinal Cushing Medical Center in Brockton. She was a former member of the Wedded Ring at First Congregational Church in Stoughton. Mrs Dykeman was also a member of the Little Theater of Stoughton, the Chicataubut Club, Braiders Club and the Republican Town Committee all in Stoughton. In her free time she enjoyed golfing and bowling.
Mrs. Dykeman is survived by her children, Pamela Demerle of Haverhill, Louis E. "Dewey" Dykeman, Jr. of Easton, George R. Dykeman of Stoughton and Candace Dykeman of Red Lodge, MT. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Scott, Elizabeth, Melissa and Louie and her great-grandson, Colin.
Funeral Service will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Wednesday at 10 AM. Visiting Hours Tuesday 6-8 PM. Interment will take place at Evergreen Cemetery in Stoughton. Donations in Muriel's name may be made to First Congregational Church, 76 Pierce St., Stoughton, 02072 or Old Colony Hospice, 14 Page Terr., Stoughton, 02072.
