Irene L. (Palumbo) Ciampa, 84, died at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston on Saturday, August 7 after a period of failing health. She was the wife of the late Michael J. Ciampa. Born in Seattle, WA, Mrs. Ciampa was raised in the North End in Boston and educated in Boston Schools. Mrs. Ciampa was a resident of Stoughton since 1970. She was a homemaker at home with her family. In her free time she enjoyed knitting and cooking.
Mrs. Ciampa is survived by her children, Patricia M. Leahy of TX, Marie Molloy of Attleboro, Paula Davis of NH, Michael Ciampa of Quincy and Christopher Ciampa of Stoughton, as well as her siblings, William Palumbo of Revere and Vivian Nokes of ME. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Michael, she was preceded in death by 6 brothers and sisters.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Tuesday at 8: 15 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 9 AM. Visiting Hours Monday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Interment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden. Donations in Irene's name may be made to American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, 01701.

KENNETH M. CHURCHILL

Kenneth M. Churchill, 90, died Sunday, July 25 at the Antelope Valley Health Care Center in Lancaster, CA after a period of failing health. He was born August 19, 1913 in Stoughton. He was a graduate of Stoughton Schools, Class of 1931, and Wentworth Institute in Boston, Class of 1933. While at Wentworth he studied Architectural Construction. He was the beloved husband of Mary F. (MacCombie), married in Stoughton on December 31, 1938. Mr. Churchill was the owner of Churchill Oil, a company which he operated for over 45 years until his retirement in 1978. Along with his wife, Mr. Churchill was an extremely active member of the First United Methodist Church in Stoughton for over 72 years. He was an avid craftsman applying his skills to building his home on Churchill Avenue and many projects at church. He was a lifelong resident of Stoughton until he moved to California in June 2003.
In addition to his wife Mary, he leaves his son, Howard A. Churchill and his wife Janice (Cudmore) of Palmdale, CA. Grandfather of Keith and Lisa Churchill and Kimberly Crump, all living in California. Brother of the late Richard and Everett Churchill and Maude Turner. He is also survived by four great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held at the First United Methodist Church in Stoughton on Sunday, August 8th at 1: 00 p.m. Services will be followed by burial at Evergreen Cemetery and a collation back at the Church. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made in Ken's name to the Memorial Fund of the First United Methodist Church, c/o Ruth Fitzpatrick, 109 Pleasant St., Stoughton, MA 02072. PATRICIA C. (KENNEDY) CHISHOLM

Patricia C. (Kennedy) Chisholm, 72, died at home in Stoughton on Tuesday, August 3 after a brief illness. She was the wife of Benedict J. Chisholm. Born and educated in Inverness, Cape Breton Isle, Nova Scotia, Mrs. Chisholm moved to the U.S. at age 18 and resided in Stoughton for 33 years. She was a homemaker at home with her family. In her free time, Mrs. Chisholm enjoyed spending time with her family and traveling.
In addition to her husband, Benedict, Mrs. Chisholm is survived by her sons, Gordon B. Chisholm and his wife Kathleen of Taunton and Kenneth F. Chisholm and his wife Stacey of Raynham as well as her siblings, Allana F. Landry, Joan Tardif and Leona MacInnis all of Waltham, Alexander P. Kennedy and John M. Kennedy both of Amesbury, Donald A. Kennedy of Dedham, Margaret E. Murphy of Watertown, Mary I. Duddy and Shirley M. Sheehan both of Belmont, Joanne Sullivan of Lynnfield and Sara Roux of Stoughton. She is also survived by 26 nieces and nephews and 29 great nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Friday at 8 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 9 AM. Visiting Hours Thursday 4-8 PM. Interment will take place at Knollwood Memorial Park in Canton. Donations in Patricia's name may be made to Immaculate Conception Church, 122 Canton St. Stoughton, 02072 or Inverness Food Bank, c/o May MacNeil, Railway St., CB, NS, Canada, B0E1N0.

RITA MARIE D. "MEMERE" (BLETTE) TRACY

Rita Marie D. "Memere" (Blette) Tracy, 92, died August 1 at the Copley at Stoughton after a brief illness, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late John W. Tracy, Sr. Born in Brockton to the late Frank and Adele (Emond) Blette, she was a graduate of Sacred Heart School in Brockton. She was a resident of Stoughton for over 50 years. Mrs. Tracy was a communicant of Immaculate Conception Church in Stoughton for over 50 years and a member of its Rosary Group. A housewife at home with her family, her love for children and her faith commitment led her to years of devotion to the care of her own children and many Catholic Charities babies.
Mrs. Tracy is survived by her children, John W. Tracy, Jr. and his wife Ann of N. Easton, Philip R. Tracy and his wife Mary A. Skinski-Tracy of Norton, Cynthia A. Johnson and her husband Donald of W. Bridgewater, Judith A. Tracy of Quincy and Dr. James F. Tracy and his wife Mary Ellen of Coral Gables, FL. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, John, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Wilfred, Frank, Joseph, Ernest and Philip Blette and her sister, Mabel Smith.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Thursday at 9 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 10 AM. Visiting Hours Wednesday 4-8 PM. Interment will take place at Calvary Cemetery in Brockton. Donations in Rita's name may be made to Catholic Charities of Boston, 75 Kneeland St., Boston, 02111.

MARY E. (DUFFY) MEIER

Mary E. (Duffy) Meier, 88, died Saturday night at the LifeCare Center in West Bridgewater. She was the wife of the late Eric R. Meier. Born in Framingham, she was a graduate of St. Margaret's High School in Dorchester. Mrs. Meier was a resident of Stoughton for over 50 years. She worked as a bookkeeper for Merkert Enterprises in Canton for over 35 years and retired many years ago.
She was the mother of Eric J. of Bridgewater, David of Middleboro, Christina Altieri of FL and Elizabeth A. "Betty" Meier. She leaves her brother of Leo Duffy of Quincy. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be private. Donations in Mary's Name may be made to Alzheimer's Assn, 36 Cameron Ave, Cambridge, 02140.

MARIA deJESUS GALINHA

Maria de Jesus Galinha, 95, died at home Friday, July 30 after a period of failing health. She was the wife of the late Feliciano Galinha. Born in Caldas da Rainia, Portugal, she was a resident of Stoughton since 1958. A homemaker, Mrs. Galinha was a longtime communicant of Immaculate Conception Church in Stoughton. In her free time, she enjoyed gardening and tending to her flowers.
She leaves her stepdaughter, Lucinda Ferreira of Stoughton and her husband Augusto. She was the grandmother of Kathleen Sullivan and her husband James and Elizabeth Silveiro. She was the greatgrandmother of Ashley and Jamie Sullivan and Michael Silveirio. She was the sister of the late Arminda Figueira, Ana Rosa and Pindade Silva. She is also survived by 1 nephew.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Tuesday at 9: 15 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 10: 15 AM. Visiting Hours Monday 5-8 PM. Burial will be at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.

PATRICK B. LARGE

Patrick B. Large, a longtime resident of Stoughton, died Wednesday, July 28, at his home after a short illness. He was the husband of Carol A. (Patten). Born in Cambridge, he was a graduate of Boston Schools. Mr. Large was a WWII Veteran of the US Army. He worked as a Precision Tool & Die Maker for Rofor Machine in Brockton many years ago. He was a member of the VFW Post 1645 in Stoughton and the DAV. In his free time, he enjoyed Hunting, Fishing and using his computer.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Stephen P. of Stoughton, William F. of NH, Patrick D., Susan M. Crowley and Donna-Jeanne O'Brien all of Stoughton, Joseph C. of IA, Theresa A. Ibbitson of Brockton, John W. "Jack" Satkiewicz of Stoughton, Patrick T. of NJ and Evelyn M. St.Germain of Holbrook. He also was the brother of Charles F. of Stoughton, Thomas C. of CA and the late Harold. He is survived by 27 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Tuesday at 8 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 9 AM. Visiting Hours Monday 4-8 PM. Donations in Pat's name may be made to Hospice of Greater Brockton, 500 Belmont St., Brockton, 02301. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Stoughton.

RONALD P. WHITE

Ronald P. White , 52, died suddenly at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton after being stricken ill at his home on Wednesday, July 28. He was the husband of Julie A. (Diamond) White . Born in Dorchester, he was raised in Sharon and a graduate of Sharon Schools. Mr. White was a resident of Stoughton for the past 10 years. He was a Veteran of the US Navy during the Vietnam Era. Mr. White worked as a self employed Painter for many years. In his free time, he enjoyed spending time with his family.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Matthew P. and Chelsea L. both of Stoughton. He was the brother of John of Attleboro.
Funeral services will be held in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Monday at 10 AM. Visiting Hours Sunday 2-5 PM. Donations in Ron's name may be made to The White Children's Fund, c/o Stoughton Coop Bank, 950 Park St., Stoughton, 02072. Burial will be private.

BARBARA E. "SARGE" (THERIAULT) WALLACE

Barbara E. (Theriault) Wallace, 62, died Saturday October 9, at the home of her sister Judy after a long period of failing health. She was the wife of the late Samuel Wallace. Born in Brockton, she was raised in Stoughton and a graduate of Stoughton Schools. Mrs. Wallace, known as "Sarge" to her family and friends, was a resident of Randolph for many years befor moving to Nashua, NH 10 years ago. Mrs. Wallace worked as a Customer Service Representative for Verizon in Manchester, NH for 10 years. Previously she worked in the same capacity at Verizon in Weymouth for 10 years. She enjoyed dog grooming and was an avid collector of baseball cards and home collectibles. She was an animal lover.
She leaves her two daughters: Robyn L. Wallace and Tobie L. Wallace of NH, and one son, Earl K. also of NH. She was the daughter of Lillian L. (Lowry) Theriault of Stoughton and the late Earl J. Theriault. She was the sister of Judith M Cote' and Wayne F. Theriault both of Stoughton, Marlene Bogen of AZ and David E. Theriault of FL. Also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews including Marlene Silva of Taunton.
Funeral services will be held in the Farley Funeral Home 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Wednesday at 10 AM. Visiting Hours Tuesday from 5-8 PM. Donations in Barbara's name may be made to the Mass Society for the Prevention of Cruelty of Animals, 1300 W. Elm St. Ext., Brockton, 02301. Burial will be at Canton Corner Cemetery.

MARY E. (BRODERICK) McLAUGHLIN

Funeral Mass: Tuesday, October 12, 10: 15 AM, Immaculate Conception Church, 122 Canton St., Stoughton.
Mary E. (Broderick) McLaughlin, 84, was called home to God on Friday, October 8. She was the beloved wife of 62 years of Robert E. McLaughlin. Born in Charlestown, she was raised there and a graduate of Immaculate Conception High School in Revere. Mrs. McLaughlin was a resident of Stoughton for over 50 years. She was a homemaker. She was a former member of the Daughters of Isabella at St. Catherine's Church in Charlestown. In her free time, she enjoyed playing Bingo. She was a beloved wife, remarkable mother, caring sister, model grandmother and most importantly, friend.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Marybeth E. Rego and her husband Ron of N. Attleboro, Maureen A. Scala and her husband George of Stoughton and Kathleen of Stoughton. She was the caring Sister of James Broderick of Stoneham, Lawrence Broderick of Arlington and the late Patricia Sullivan. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and her favorite grandson and most precious pearl from heaven Georgie. She was a much beloved friend to many.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Tuesday at 9: 15 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 10: 15 AM. Visiting Hours Monday 4-8 PM.
