Anne D. (Donohoe) Dunne, 74, died Tuesday, January 25 at the St. Patrick's Manor Nursing Home in Framingham after a long illness. She was the wife of the late George T. Dunne. Born in Dorchester, she was educated in St. Mark's School in Dorchester, Notre Dame Academy in Boston and Emmanuel College in Boston. Mrs. Dunne worked as an Elementary School Teacher in the Sharon School System, mainly East Elementary School, for over 25 years, . She retired in 1994. Mrs. Dunne also worked at Filene's in Braintree for 25 years, retiring in 1999. Mrs. Dunne was a longtime communicant of St. James Church in Stoughton where she was a Eucharistic Minister. She was a member of the Mass. Teachers Assn.
Mrs. Dunne leaves her children, Beth D. McLean and her husband Michael of W. Roxbury, Patrick J. Dunne and his wife Robin of Stoughton and Christopher B. Dunne of Washington , DC. She was the sister of Therese Angelis and her husband Frank of Mashpee and Edward Donohoe of Quincy. She was the beloved Nina of Tess and Emma McLean and Blaine and Brennen Sibby. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Saturday at 9 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at St. James Church, Stoughton at 10 AM. Visiting Hours Friday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Donations in Anne's name may be made to St. Patrick's Manor, 863 Central St., Framingham, 01701. Burial will follow at Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.

PAMELA W. (HUBLEY) BILLINGS

Funeral Service: Private.
Pamela W. (Hubley) Billings, 58, died at the Brockton Hospital on Monday, January 24. She was the wife of Wallace S. Billings. Born in Brockton, she was educated in Stoughton schools. She lived in Hanson since 1972 after living many years in Stoughton. Mrs. Billings was a candy maker at Sevigny Candy in Hanover for several years. She was a member of the Bulldog Club of America and the Bull Mastiff Club of America. She loved dogs and used to show dogs for many years.
In addition to her husband Wallace, Mrs. Billings is survived by her son, Scott S. Billings of Hanson.
Visiting Hours will be held from the Farley Funeral Home 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Friday from 4-8 PM. Funeral Services will be private. Donations in Pamela's name may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, 101A First Ave., Waltham, 02451-1115.

GORDON J. LYNCH

Gordon J. Lynch, 90, a longtime resident of Stoughton, died Saturday Morning at the Copley at Stoughton Nursing Home after a period of failing health and a battle with Parkinsons Disease. He was the husband of Enes V. (Grelotti) Lynch. Born in Marlboro, he was a graduate of Marlboro Schools. Mr. Lynch worked as a Sales Promoter for the food brokers Albert Solomon and for Pezrow Enterprises. Prior to that, he worked as a Manager for A & P SuperMarkets. Mr. Lynch was active at St. Ambrose Church in Dorchester and later at Our Lady of the Rosary Church in Stoughton. At St. Ambrose, he was a former member of the Holy Name Society and former Choir Director. At Our Lady of the Rosary, he was active in church affairs and served as an usher. He was a longtime member of the 4th of July Committee in Stoughton. In his free time, he enjoyed spending time with his family and musical activities.
In addition to his wife Enes, he is survived by his children Marie P. O'Brien of Raynham, Paul J. of Winchester, Kathleen E. Traficanti of Easton, Geraldine A. McCarthy of Braintree and Maureen T. Sylvia of N. Dartmouth. He was the brother of the late George Lynch and Naomi Yanosick. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren of 4 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Wednesday at 9 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Our Lady of the Rosary Church, Stoughton at 10 AM. Visiting Hours Tuesday 4-8 PM. Donations in Gordon's name may be made to the Sisters of St. Joseph, 637 Cambridge St., Brighton, MA 02135, or to My Brother's Keeper, 320 Washington St., Easton, MA 02375. Burial will be at St. Tarcisius Cemetery, Framingham.

HELEN M. (O'NEIL) "MUMSIE" CONNOLLY

Helen G. "Mumsie" (O'Neil) Connolly, 73, died suddenly at the Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton on Thursday, January 20. She was the wife of the late Francis M. "Patsy" Connolly, Boston PD. Born in Charlestown, she was raised and educated in Charlestown. She was a resident of Stoughton since 1968. She was a devoted and cherished mother and grandmother whose greatest joy was spending time with her family.
She was the mother of Susan C. Coughlin and her husband Richard, Donna M. Cotter all of Easton, Mary H. Connolly and John J. Connolly both of Stoughton, Francis M. Connolly and his wife Michelle of Lakeville, Karen A. Romaine and her husband Craig of Easton and Joyce M. Connolly of Stoughton. She was the sister of Marilyn Ahearn of E. Boston, Ann Conley of S. Boston, Barbara Broderick of Weymouth, Joyce O'Neil of Dorchester and the late Gene O'Neil, Buddy O' Neil, Edward O'Neil and Patricia Serino. She is also survived by her sister in law Margaret Melody of Weymouth. She also leaves her grandchildren of Kara Crosby, Joseph Coughlin, Danielle Cotter, Hayley Cotter, Amanda, Shawn and Ryan Connolly, Nicholas Larsen, Jake Romaine and Max Romaine. She was the great-grandmother of Michael Wurtzburger and Peyton Crosby. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Tuesday at 8 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 9 AM. Visiting Hours Monday 4-8 PM. Donations in Helen's name may be made to the St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105. Burial will follow at Blue Hills Cemetery, Braintree.

WINNIFRED M. (WHITE) CHESTNUT

Funeral Service: Tuesday, January 25, 11 AM, Farley Funeral Home.
Winnifred M. ( White ) Chestnut, 79, a longtime resident of Carver, died early Friday at her home after a long illness. She was the wife of Thomas M. Chestnut. Born in Stoughton, she was a graduate of Stoughton Schools. She was a resident of Stoughthon for 40 years before moving to Georgia for 8 years. Mrs. Chestnut worked as the manager of the Stoughton Pennysaver for many years before she moved to Carver. She was a talented artist. In her free time, she enjoyed sewing, braiding rugs, crafts and decorating.
She leaves her husband Thomas M. Chestnut. She was the sister of Fred White of FL and the aunt of Jayne Boyce of FL.
Funeral services will be held in the Farley Funeral Home 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Tuesday at 11 AM. Visiting Hours Monday 2-4 PM. Donations in Winnie's name may be made to the Cranberry Hospice, 36 Cordage Park, Plymouth, 02360. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery, Stoughton.

EUGENIE C. "JENNY" (SCHULTE-SCHREPPING) DREIST

Funeral Service: Saturday, January 21, 10 AM, Farley Funeral Home.
Eugenie C. "Jenny" Dreist, 65, died Wednesday at the Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton after a long illness. Born in Berlin, Germany, she was educated in Berlin. Married in Germany, she was the wife of 45 years of Charles F. Dreist Sr. of Stoughton. Mrs. Dreist moved to the US in 1959 and settled in Boston. She also lived in Bellingham before moving to Stoughton in 1976. Mrs. Dreist worked as a seamstress for Fidelity Products in Avon as well as in other area shops. She was a member of the National Republican Committee. In her free time, she enjoyed playing Bingo, knitting, crocheting and gardening.
In addition to her husband Charles, she is survived by her children: Patrik F.H. Dreist of Taunton, Eugenie C. Bernard of Brockton, Renate O. Petruccelli and her husband Anthony of Stoughton and Charles F. Jr. and his wife Pearl of Stoughton. She was the sister of Herbert Schulte-Schrepping and Fred Schulte-Schrepping both of Austrailia. Also survived by 10 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held in the Farley Funeral Home 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Saturday at 10 AM. Visiting Hours Friday 4-8 PM. Donations in Jenny's name may be made to the American Heart Assn, 30 Speen St., Framingham, 01701.

MARIA (FRANCO) RIBEIRO

Funeral Mass: Friday, January 21, 9 AM, Immaculate Conception Church, 122 Canton St., Stoughton.
Maria (Franco) Ribeiro, 81, died on Wednesday, January 19 at the Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton after a period of failing health. She was the wife of the late Antonio Ribeiro. Born in Madeira, Portugal, Mrs. Ribeiro was a resident of Stoughton since 1974. She was a factory worker at Elastic Web in Stoughton for several years before retiring at age 65. Mrs. Ribeiro was a member of the Portuguese National Club and a communicant of Immaculate Conception Church, both in Stoughton. She was a volunteer at the VA Medical Center in Brockton. In her free time she enjoyed flowers, playing cards, watching the Boston Bruins and spending time with her family.
Mrs. Ribeiro is survived by her children, Connie Gonsalves, Jose Manuel Ribeiro, Fatima Viveiros, Jose Antonio Ribeiro, Olivia Ramos, Margarida Spinola, John Luis Ribeiro, Emily F. Bettencourt, Rita Dias and Sally Pacheco all of Stoughton, John Afonso Ribeiro of FL, Paula Sylvia of Brockton, Grace Gibbons and Paul Ribeiro both of NH as well as her siblings, Jose Franco, Matilde Spinola, Angelina Sousa, Conceicao Spinola and Beatrice Gouveia all of Portugal. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Jerry L. Ribeiro and her brother, Manuel Franco. She is also survived by 39 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Friday at 8 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 9 AM. Visiting Hours Thursday 4-8 PM. Interment will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Stoughton.

JAMES M. KAVANAGH
Visiting Hours: Friday, January 21, 4-8 PM.
Funeral Mass: Saturday, January 22, 10 AM, Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 1262 Park St., Stoughton.
James M. Kavanagh, 83, died at home in Stoughton on Tuesday, January 18 after a period of failing health. He was the husband of the late Lydia "Lee" (Solimene) Kavanagh. Born in Boston, he was a graduate of Mission High School, Class of 1939. He was a resident of Stoughton since 1956. Mr. Kavanagh was a World War II Veteran with the U.S. Merchant Marines and survived the sinking of the U.S.S. Nevada. He worked for the New York-New Haven-Hartford Railroad and played on their baseball team after returning from the service. He then worked at Boston & Taunton Transportation Co., which became Perkins Trucking as a dispatch clerk, claims manager and finally terminal manager for 30 years before retiring in 1982. In his free time he enjoyed gardening, baking, listening to music, telling stories and woodworking where he was the inventor of the "Horseless Headmen, " which were small wooden figurines he sculpted.
Mr. Kavanagh is survived by his daughter, Judith L. Kavanagh of Stoughton. He is the brother-in-law of Norma and Robert J. Raffaele, Gus and Mary G. Solimene and Mary and the late Will Solimene. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his brothers, David Kavanagh and Thomas Kavanagh and his sister, Anna Power.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Saturday at 9 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Our Lady of the Rosary Church, Stoughton at 10 AM. Visiting Hours Friday 4-8 PM. Donations in James' name may be made to Old Colony Hospice, 14 Page Terr., Stoughton, 02072. Interment will take place at Newton Cemetery in Newton.

JOHN J. KEOHANE
Visiting Hours: Monday, January 17, 4-6 PM.
Funeral Mass: Tuesday, January 18, 10 AM, Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 1262 Park St., Stoughton.
John J. Keohane, 90, died Friday at the Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. He was the husband of 57 years of Rita H. (Dooley) Keohane. Born in Stoughton, he was a lifelong resident of Stoughton and a 1932 graduate of Stoughton Schools. Mr. Keohane was a veteran of the US Army in WWII. Mr. Keohane worked for JW Wood and the Kendall Co. in Needham for over 50 years. He retired over 20 years ago. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus in Stoughton. Mr. Keohane built his home in Stoughton as well as his Cotuit summer home. In his free time he enjoyed traveling and spending summers in Cotuit.
In addition to his wife Rita, he leaves his nephew and niece, Robert Keohane and his wife Barbara of Brockton and Barbara Gusciora of Stoughton. He is also survived by many other nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his siblings Robert F., Mary, Helen Danahy, Margaret and Mildred Barry.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Tuesday at - AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Our Lady of the Rosary Church, at - AM. Visiting Hours Monday 4-6 PM. Burial will be at Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.

PATRICIA D. (EWING) HANSLER

Funeral Mass: Tuesday, January 18, 9 AM, Immaculate Conception Church, 122 Canton St., Stoughton.
Patricia D. "Trisha" (Ewing) Hansler, 49, died unexpectedly on Friday at the Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton after suffering a heart attack. She was the Beloved Wife and friend of Scott C. Hansler. Born in Boston, she was a lifelong resident of Stoughton and a graduate of Stoughton Schools. She also attended Northeastern University. Mrs. Hansler worked as a teachers aide at the Jones Elementary School in Stoughton for many years and also was active in the Jones School PTO. She was a homemaker. In her free time, she enjoyed reading and gardening and above all spending time with her children and family.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children; Michelle D. of Marlboro, Scott M., Timothy S. and Jenna L. all of Stoughton. She was the sister of Kathleen Jondro and Albert Ewing Jr. both of Stoughton and the late Elisabeth "Betty" Demeo. She was the daughter of the late Albert C. and Stella (Koval) Ewing. She was the daughter in law of Frank M. and Olga (Perrone) Hansler of Wareham and is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Tuesday at 8 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, at 9 AM. Visiting Hours Monday 4-8 PM. Donations in Trisha's name may be made to the MSPCA, 1300 W. Elm St. Ext., Brockton, 02301. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery, Stoughton.
