Richard J. Smith, 60, a longtime resident of Stoughton, died Tuesday at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. He was the loving husband of Paula L. (Rawson). Born in Boston, he was educated in Mattapan Schools and a graduate of Don Bosco Technical High School in Boston, Class of 1963. He was a Boy Scout. Mr. Smith worked as a Licensed Electrician for Sarnafil Inc. in Canton. He was a member of the Stoughton Fish and Game and a member of the Board of Directors of the Mohawks Youth Hockey Association. He was a Ham Radio Operator, N1OIR, and a member of the Amateur Radio Operators Assn.
In addition to his wife, he leaves his son Kevin F. Smith of Stoughton. He was also the father of the late Richard J. "Rick" Smith Jr. Dick was the son of Elizabeth M. (Smith) Smith of Taunton and the late Harold. He was the brother of Allan Smith of Milton, Elizabeth Hayes of Canton and Edward Smith of Taunton.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Saturday at 8 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 9 AM. Visiting Hours Friday 4-8 PM. Donations in Dick's name may be made to the Richard J. Smith Jr. Scholarship Fund, Stoughton High School, 232 Pearl St., Stoughton, 02072. Burial will be at Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.

PETER J. WALDRON

Funeral Mass: Friday, December 17, 10: 15 AM, Immaculate Conception Church, 122 Canton St., Stoughton.
Peter J. Waldron, 64, died at home in Stoughton on Monday, December 13 after a period of failing health. He was the husband of Gayle A. (Soule) Waldron. Born in Boston, he was a graduate of Mission High School, Class of 1958. He has resided in Stoughton for 22 years. Mr. Waldron was Divisional Administrator at AON Corp. in Dedham for 41 years before retiring 5 years ago. In his free time he loved traveling with his wife in their motor home.
In addition to his wife Gayle, Mr. Waldron is survived by his daughters, Janet M. Smally of Foxboro and Kathie A. Ruby of Norton as well as his grandchildren, Amanda MacAskill, Zachary Ruby and Nicholas Ruby. He is also survived by his sister, Sr. Jean Waldron, SCH of Holbrook and his mother-in-law, Bertha Soule of N. Attleboro.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Friday at 9: 15 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 10: 15 AM. Visiting Hours Thursday 4-8 PM. Interment will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery in West Roxbury. Donations in Peter's name may be made to the Sisters of Charity Retirement Fund, 125 Oakland St., Wellesley Hills, 02181.

JOHN MacDONALD
Visiting Hours: Wednesday, December 15, 4-8 PM
Funeral Mass: Thursday, December 16, 10 AM, Holy Cross Church, 225 Purchase St., Easton.
John MacDonald, 45, died unexpectedly on Sunday, December 12 at the Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro. He was the husband of Colleen (Burke) MacDonald. Born in Boston, Mr. MacDonald grew up in Braintree and was a graduate of Braintree High School, Class of 1977 and Bridgewater State College, Class of 1981. He has resided in Easton for 20 years. Mr. MacDonald was District Sales Manager at Ikon Office Solution in Cumberland, RI for the last 4 years. He was a member of the MIFOA Football Assn., officiating local football games for the last 5 years. He was also a member of the Easton Recreation Department and girls basketball coach for the Easton town league. He was an avid sports fan.
In addition to his wife Colleen, Mr. MacDonald is survived by his daughters, Caitlin K. and Jaclyn K. MacDonald, both of Easton. He is also survived by his mother, Josephine (Rizzatano) MacDonald of Braintree, his sisters, Linda M. Spates of Milford and Mary Downing of Bridgewater and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, John MacDonald.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Thursday at 9 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Holy Cross Church, Easton at 10 AM. Visiting Hours Wednesday 4-8 PM. Interment will take place at Furnace Village Cemetery in Easton. Donations in John's name may be made to the Oliver Ames High School Scholarship Fund, OA Guidance Dept., 100 Lothrop St., Easton, 02356.

GLADYS E. (AMBROSE) JARDIN
Visiting Hours: Wednesday, December 15, 4-8 PM
Funeral Mass: Thursday, December 16, 10: 15 AM, Immaculate Conception Church, 122 Canton St., Stoughton.
Gladys E. (Ambrose) Jardin, 76, died at St. Joseph Manor in Brockton on Monday, December 13 after a lengthy illness. She was the wife of the late Manuel J. Jardin. Born in New Bedford, Mrs. Jardin was educated in West Bridgewater schools. She was a resident of Stoughton for over 50 years. She was a cafeteria manager for the Stoughton Public Schools, mainly the Jones Elementary School. Mrs. Jardin was active in parish activities at Immaculate Conception Church in Stoughton. She was a member of the Portuguese National Club in Stoughton.
Mrs. Jardin is survived by her children, Marie E. Gawrys, Dolores A. Leonardo and David M. Jardin, Chief SFD all of Stoughton, Theresa M. Cabral of Dartmouth and Alisa M. Cloutier of Bridgewater. She was the sister of Austin "Ozzie" Ambrose of Dartmouth and the late George Ambrose, Ernest Garcia and Frances Silva. She was the step-daughter of the late John and Mary Mello. She was the step-sister of Mary Cassazza of NH, Anna Brown of W. Bridgewater and Alberta Christopher of Brockton. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Thursday at 9: 15 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 10: 15 AM. Visiting Hours Wednesday 4-8 PM. Donations in Gladys' name may be made to the charity of your choice. Interment will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Stoughton.

DENNIS E. BENNETT
Visiting Hours: Monday, December 13, 7-9 PM.
Funeral Services: Monday, December 13, 9 PM, Farley Funeral Home.
Dennis E. Bennett, 57, died Wednesday at the Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton after a short illness. He was the husband of Leona A. "Bonnie" (Roberts) Bennett. Born in Bermuda, he moved to the US in 1956. He was educated in Stoughton Schools. Mr. Bennett lived in Brockton for many years before returning to Stoughton 4 years ago. Mr. Bennett worked as a dry cleaner at Norwood Town Plus Cleaners in Norwood for over 20 years. In his free time, he enjoyed working on cars, animals and gardening.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughters: Michele Marcos of E. Bridgewater and Kim Bird of Pembroke. He was the brother of Elizabeth Reardon of GA and is also survived by 4 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Monday Night at 9PM. Visiting Hours prior to the service from 7-9 PM. Donations in Dennis' name may be made to the MSPCA, 1300 West Elm St. Ext., Brockton, 02301. Burial will be private.

MARY L. (O'BRIEN) COLE
Visiting Hours: Sunday, December 12, 3-7 PM.
Funeral Mass: Monday, December 13, 9 AM, Immaculate Conception Church, 122 Canton St., Stoughton.
Mary L. (O'Brien) Cole, 74, died at New England Sinai Hospital in Stoughton on Thursday, December 9 after a lengthy illness. She was the wife of 50 years of William J. Cole. Born in Brockton, Mrs. Cole was a graduate of Stoughton High School, Class of 1949 and the Peter Bent Brigham Nursing School. She resided in Brockton for 48 years. She was a nurse at Quincy Adams Nursing Home in Brockton for 20 years and Brockwood Nursing Home in Brockton for 10 years before retiring 9 years ago.
In addition to her husband William, Mrs. Cole is survived by her son, William J. Cole, Jr. of Brookline and her daughters, Jan M. Cole-Uhl of Taunton, Lynne A. Cole of Lexington and Donna M. Cole of Portland, OR. She is also survived by her siblings, M. Jean McLaughlin and William O'Brien both of FL and Helen Monahan of Brockton, as well as 4 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Monday at 8: 15 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 9 AM. Visiting Hours Sunday 3-7 PM. Interment will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Stoughton. Donations in Mary's name may be made to the Parkinson's Disease Foundation, 1501 NW Ave., Bob Hope Rd., Miami, FL 33136.

JAMES ANTHONY FRANCIS CARLINO

James Anthony Francis Carlino, 34, died Wednesday at the Brockton Hospital. He was the son of Frederick J. and Cheryl (Zoglio) Carlino of Brockton. Born in Arlington, he was a lifelong resident of Brockton and a graduate of Brockton Schools. He worked as a truck driver for United Liquors for over 7 years. In his free time, he enjoyed motorcycles, sports, physical fitness and drawing.
In addition to his parents, he leaves his 2 sons, James M. and Jason F. of Brockton. He was the brother of Michelle E. Hardy and her husband Timothy, Meghan J. Carlino and her fiancé Joseph A. Beck II and Lora Gareri and her husband Scott all of Brockton. He is also survived by 2 nieces, 2 nephews, many aunts & uncles and his grandfather James J. Carlino of Arlington.
Funeral services will be private. Donations in his name may be made in honor of Joseph Anthony Beck III to the Children's Hospital, 300 Longwood Ave., Boston, 02115. Burial will be private.

HARRY E. "BUD" COLE, JR.

Harry E. "Bud" Cole, 87, a longtime mechanic for the Boston Edison, died Monday, December 6 at the Braemoor Rehabilitation and Nursing Facility in Brockton. He was the husband of Eleanor I. (Edenhofer) Cole. Born in Quincy, he was a graduate of Quincy Schools. He also attended trade schools. He was a WWII Veteran of the US Navy. He was a resident of Stoughton since 1972. Mr. Cole worked as a union Mechanic for the Boston Edison from 1959 until his retirement in 1981. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Quincy, the Shedad Club in Brockton and the New England Grotto Association. In his free time, he enjoyed golfing.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter; Karin M. Rapson and her husband J. Thomas of Stoughton. He was the grandfather of Robert G. Rapson and his wife Youngsun and Jennifer L. Collings and her husband Fred. He was the brother of the late Florence Cole. Mr. Cole is also survived by 4 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held in the Farley Funeral Home 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Friday at 11 AM. Visiting Hours prior to service from 10-11 AM. Donations in Bud's name may be made to the National Parkinson's Foundation, 1501 NW 9th Ave., Bob Hope Rd., Miami, FL 33136. Burial will follow at Mt. Wollaston Cemetery, Quincy.

ELIZABETH A. "BAMBI" (DEES) REXFORD

Funeral Mass: Thursday, December 9, 9 AM, Immaculate Conception Church, 122 Canton St., Stoughton.
Elizabeth A. "Bambi" (Dees) Rexford, 56, died Sunday, December 5 at her home in Stoughton after a period of failing health. Born in Inverness, Mississippi, she was a lifelong resident of Stoughton. Mrs. Rexford was a graduate of Stoughton Schools. She worked at Page's Market and Town Spa Pizza in Stoughton, Tip Top Café in Brockton and Charlie's Saloon in Braintree. She enjoyed Faxon Park concerts in Stoughton, Stoughton Fireworks, beach and boating and playing with her grandchildren. She was a huge Patriots fan, also.
Mrs. Rexford is survived by her daughters: Joanne M. Brown of Stoughton and Shannan McAfee Smith and her husband Gary Smith of Attleboro, as well as her father, John C. Dees of Brockton. She was the sister of John C. Dees of Stoughton. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Taylar, Courtney and Gary and her love, Richard Rexford. She was preceded in death by her mother, Elinor (Barbato) Dees.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Thursday at 8: 15 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 9 AM. Visiting Hours Wednesday 5-8 PM. Interment will take place at Evergreen Cemetery in Stoughton. Donations in Elizabeth's name may be made to her family, c/o Joanne M. Brown, 11 LaCivita Ct., #4, Stoughton, 02072.

EMILY A. (ALLEN) BRADBURY
Visiting Hours: Thursday, December 2, 4-7 PM.
Funeral Prayers: Friday, December 3, 10 AM. Ponkapoag Chapel, Rte 138, Canton.
Emily A. (Allen) Bradbury, 67, died Tuesday at the Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton after a short period of failing health. Born in Boston, she was raised in Needham and a graduate of Needham Schools and Bucknell University. Mrs. Bradbury was a resident of Stoughton since 1960. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. In her free time, she enjoyed traveling, animals and visiting with her family. She was active at the Stoughton Senior Center.
She leaves her children: Eric A. and Susan L. Bradbury both of ME. She was the sister of Stephen M. Allen of Sudbury, George B. Allen of CT and the late Beatrice D. Allen.
Funeral services will be held in the Ponkapoag Chapel, Rte 138, Canton on Friday at 10 AM. Visiting hours will be held in the Farley Funeral Home 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Thursday from 4-7 PM. Donations in Emily's name may be made to the Northeast Animal Shelter, 204 Highland Avenue, PO Box 4506, Salem, MA 01970-9849. Burial will be private.
