Roland J. Levasque, 65 of Brockton died Tuesday, August 6, 2002 at the Brockton Hospital after complications with pneumonia. He was the husband of the late Claire A. (Digiammo) Levesque. Roland was born May 28, 1937 in Tewksbury, Massachusetts. He was a graduate of Norwood High School class of 1956. He served in the national Guard in 1957 and then was activated into the United States Army where he served in Germany. Roland was a retired construction worker and had worked in the Randolph area for several years. He enjoyed crossword puzzles and was an avid wrestling fan. He was a Brockton resident for over 40 years. He is survived by his children, Jonathan W. Levesque and his wife E. Melanie of Harrisville, Rhode Island, Terri L. Damon and her husband David G. of North Easton, and Rose Marie Janes of Brockton; his step children, Margaret A. Murphy of Easton, David Murphy of Bridgewater, and John Murphy of Brockton; his twin brother, Raymond Levesque of Brockton; he is also survived by several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Funeral services will be held in the Russell Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Friday, August 9th at 11: 00AM. Private Cremation will follow. Calling hours in the Russell Funeral Home Thursday 5: 00-8: 00PM.

BLANCHE C. JUSZKIEWICZ, 89

Blanche C. (Harrison) Juszkiewicz, 89 of Brockton died Sunday, August 4, 2002 at the Regent Park Manor in Brockton. She was the wife of the late Norman Henry. Born January 9, 1913 in Brockton she was the daughter of the late Bernard Harrison and Amy (Croud) Harrison. Blanche was a retired Nurse and had worked at the Brockton Hospital for several years. She was a member of the VFW Auxillary unit# 1046 in Brockton and the West Bridgewater Legion Auxillary. She leaves no known relatives. She was the sister of the late Harold L. Harrison.
A graveside service will be held in Melrose Cemetery, Brockton on Wednesday, August 7th at 1: 30PM

MARY A. KILEY, 82

Mary A. (Pupello)(Fortin)(Miller) Kiley, 82 of Brockton died at her home Saturday, August 03, 2002 after a lengthy illness under the care of hospice. She was the wife of the late Edmond C. Fortin, Sr., Elmer S. Miller, and Gerard A. Kiley. Born March 16, 1920 in Avon she was the daughter of the late Leonard A. Pupello and Mary Grace (Leo) Pupello. Mary was raised in Avon and graduated from Avon High School. Mary was a garment worker for 35 years. She was a stitcher at Royal Sportswear, Nardi Sportswear, and Fisher Sportswear. She was a member of the Italian Womens Club of Brockton and she was a member of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union Association and served as the associations president for 12 years. Mary was a communicant of Our Lady of Lourdes church in Brockton and was also active in the Chapel of our Savior Friars of the Atonement at Westgate and enjoyed helping the chapel with Bake Sales. She enjoyed her family, crafts, and bizarre. She is survived by her children, David W. Miller of Tennessee, Edmond C. Fortin, Jr. and his wife Barbara of Brockton, Mary Ann Coury and her husband Michael Martsolf of California, and the late Ralph A. Miller; her brother and sister, Dominic A. Pupello and Lena Bogdanoff both of Avon; also survived by nine grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Jake Pupello.

BARBARA C. LaFOND, 57

Barbara C. LaFond, 57, of Randolph died suddenly Thursday, August 1, 2002 at the Milton Hospital. Born September 22, 1944 in Boston she was the daughter of the late Wilfred P. LaFond and Gertrude A. (Howard) LaFond. Barbara attended Cardinal Cushing School in Hanover and Kennedy Memorial Hospital. Barbara enjoyed watching TV and video's. She lived in Randolph and in Hanover at one time. She is survived by her brothers and sister, Philip H. LaFond of Brockton, Vincent H. LaFond of Randolph, and Linda A. Stewart of Florida; also survived by several nieces, nephews, and grand nieces and nephews.

GEORGES R. VALERIUS, 76

Georges R. Valerius, 76 of Brockton died Monday morning, September 30, 2002 at the Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. He was the husband of Marie A. (Bareau) Valerius. Born January 7, 1926 in Port Au Prince, Haiti he was the son of the late Laban Valerius and Rose Alassa Michel. Georges while living in Haiti worked for the Government of Haiti. He worked in the Mayors office as a clerk for several years. He moved to the United States in 1986 and lived in New York. Georges then moved to Brockton over 14 years ago and worked as a shipper for the Goodman Knitting Company of Brockton. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Brockton.
He is survived by his wife, Marie A. (Bareau) Valerius of Brockton; his children, Labranche Valerius, Marie Jeannette Valerius, Nirva Bareau, Stephene Nau, Jean Mary Valerius, Ernso Valerius; he is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, several nieces and nephews

JULIA MARSHALL, 89

Julia Marshall, 89 of Brockton died Tuesday, October 2, 2002 at the Embassy Nursing Home in Brockton. Born June 14, 1913 in Provincetown she was the daughter of Joseph Marshall and Minnie (Perry) Marshall.
Julia leaves no known relatives.
Funeral services will be held in the Russell Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Friday at 10: 00AM. Interment will follow in St. Peter's Cemetery, Provincetown.

ALFRED EASTWOOD, 76

Alfred Eastwood, 76, of Brockton died Monday evening, February 3, 2003 at the Brockton Hospital. He was the former husband of Alice C. (Trippier) Eastwood of Westport. Born March 12, 1926 in Fall River he was the son of the late John Eastwood and Sarah I. (Cox) Eastwood. Alfred was a graduate of Durfee High School. Alfred served in the United States Air Force during World War II as a Radio Technician onboard a B-54 Bomber. He was retired from the Instrom Corporation of Canton where he worked for several years as a Electronic Technician. He has been a Brockton resident for the last 20 years and had previously lived in Westport. He enjoyed photography.
He is survived by his children, Paul T. Eastwood of Westport and Carol Eastwood-DaPonte of Westport; his grandchildren, Erin Eastwood and Alyson DaPonte; his close friends, Al Grant of Dorchester, Debra Cochrane of Brockton, and Annmarie Vogell of Brockton.
A memorial service will be held in the Russell Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Friday, February 7th at 11: 00AM.

MICHAEL P. MORGAN, 50

Michael P. Morgan, 50, of Brockton died Wednesday, January 29, 2003 in Brockton. Born January 25, 1953 in Berkley, California he was the son of the late James B. Morgan and Elma F. (West) Morgan. Raised in California he attended Oakland Schools. Michael was a self-employed carpenter and had been a Brockton resident for the last 3 years. He also had lived in New Hampshire. He enjoyed building model cars.
He is survived by his children, Jonathan Morgan of California, Joel Morgan of Milton, and Ashley Morgan of California; his brothers and sister, Jeffrey Morgan of California, Judith A. Morgan of California, James B. Morgan of New Hampshire, Richard G. Morgan of New Hampshire, and Rodney L. Morgan of California; he is also survived by several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Mary Frances Morgan.
A memorial service will be held in the Russell Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., Brockton on a day and time to be announced.

LUZIA DePINA, 89

Luzia "Manidjinha" (Garcia) Depina, 89, of Brockton died Wednesday, April 9, 2003 at the Brockton Hospital. She was the wife of the late Antonio DePina.
Born September 25, 1913 in Fogo, Cape Verde she was the daughter of the late Henriqueta Garcia.
Mrs. DePina came to Brockton in 1987 from Cape Verde and she enjoyed sewing and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Joao Gracia DePina, Antonio Gracia DePina, Domingos Garcia DePina, Felizmina Monteiro, Maria Andrade, and Antonia Antunes; Also survived by 43 grandchildren, 68 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services will be held in the Russell Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Saturday, April 12th at 10: 00AM. Interment will follow in Melrose Cemetery, Brockton. Calling hours in the Russell Funeral Home Friday 5: 00-9: 00PM.

GEORGE D. GEORGE

George D. George, 84, a lifelong West Bridgewater resident, died Sunday morning, April 6, 2003 at the Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton after a short illness. Born March 15, 1919, in West Bridgewater, he was the son of the late David George and Annie (Slibe) George. He was a graduate of West Bridgewater High School. George worked as a machinist for the Altomac Corp. of Canton and then for the Foxboro Company for over 23 years. He was a member of the Atucket Rod and Gun Club in East Bridgewater, Life member of the National Rifle Association, member of the Sharon Fish and game Club where he was an Instructor for the Junior Rifle Club for many years, he was also a member of the G.O.A.L. He is survived by his Brother and Sisters, Louis George of Billerica, Sarah E George of West Bridgewater, Lila A. George of West Bridgewater, and Anfrey Phillips of Braintree; he is also survived by several nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, and cousins. He was the brother of the late Rachel Elias, Fannie Hatch, and Della Kashan.

Mark D. Borelli-Libby, 24, of Woonsocket, RI formerly of Framingham, Ma. died unexpectedly Friday April 4 2003 in Natick, Ma. after injuries he sustained in an automobile accident. Born September 6, 1978 in Framingham, he was the loving son of James and Donna (Libby) Borelli of Woonsocket, RI Mark was employed by BetterThan All Roofing Company and loved sports. He enjoyed coaching children as a coach for Framingham Pop Warner. He is survived by his parents, James and Donna (Libby) Borelli of Woonsocket, RI; his two brothers, Christopher and Daniel Borelli both of Woonsocket RI; his paternal grandmother, Edith Borelli and the late Henry Borelli of Ashland Ma.; his maternal grandfather, James Libby and the late Frances Libby of Framingham, Ma. He also leaves a host of loving friends and relatives.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 9th at 10: 30A.M. in the church of the Nazarene at trolley square, Framingham MA. Interment will follow in Wildwood Cemetery, Ashland. Calling hours in the Chesmore Funeral Home, 854 Washington St., (RT16) Holliston Tuesday evening 6: 00-9: 00PM.
