Saia - Frank Jr. of East Boston suddenly on August 10th, 2004 at the age of 45 years.

Loving son of the late Frank Sr. and Marion (Conlon) Saia.

Beloved father of Marissa and Natalie of Florida.

Dear brother of Lisa DiPrizio and her husband Jerry of Saugus, Diana Saia Lockhart and her husband Aaron of Peabody, and Nancy Saia Brothers and her husband Drew of East Boston.

Fond uncle of Angela, Francesca, Matthew and Carly. Also lovingly survived by many fond aunts, uncles and cousins.

Fiancé of Cindy Zirpolo. Special Papa of Gianna.

Funeral from the Ruggiero-Mazzarella Memorial Home, 971 Saratoga Street (Orient Heights) East Boston on Saturday August 14th at 8:30am. Funeral Mass in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Gove Street, East Boston at 9:30am. Visiting hours are on Friday from 4:00pm to 8:00pm. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.

Frank was born in Boston in 1958. He was a construction worker and member of Local #22. He passed away suddenly at the Massachusetts General Hospital.

The Memorial Home is handicapped accessible and a children’s lounge is available. Courtesy valet parking at the front entrance and ample off street parking is also available. For transportation to the memorial home please call 617-569-0990.

Services will conclude with Frank being laid to rest at the Woodlawn Cemetery in Everett.

Anthony R. Salvati

August 29, 1934 - March 27, 2006

Salvati - Anthony R. Jr., also known by his artistic name of 'Antonio Franco', of the North End of Boston, passed away suddenly on Monday March 27th, 2006.

Loving son of the late Anthony Sr. and Mary (Reppucci) Salvati.

Dear brother of Marie Ramos of Winthrop, Joseph Salvati and Josephine Spagnuolo, both of Boston's North End, and Ralph Salvati of Billerica.

Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Funeral from the Ruggiero-Mazzarella Memorial Home, 971 Saratoga Street (Orient Heights) East Boston on Friday March 31st at 9:00am, followed by a Funeral Mass in the Sacred Heart Church, 12 North Square, North End, Boston at 10:00am. Visiting hours are on Thursday March 30th from 4:00pm to 8:00pm. Friends and relatives are respectfully invited.

Anthony was born in Boston in 1934. He served his country in the armed forces and was the late proprietor of Antonio Franco La Gallaria in the North End. He was a well known artist and jewelry designer under his artistic name of 'Antonio Franco'. Anthony passed away suddenly at home. He was 71 years of age.

Mary Sarro

June 21, 1928 - January 25, 2002

Sarro - Mary "Mickey" of East Boston on Friday January 25, 2002.

Dear sister of James Sarro of Naples Florida, formerly of East Boston, Joseph Sarro and Josephine O'Brien both of East Boston, and the late Carmen and Frank Sarro.

Lovingly survived by many dear nieces and nephews.

Funeral service in the chapel at Ruggiero-Mazzarella Memorial Home, 971 Saratoga Street (Orient Heights) East Boston on Monday January 28 at 11:00am. Visiting hours are prior to the funeral service commencing at 9:00am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.

The Memorial Home is handicapped accessible and a children's lounge is available. Courtesy valet parking at the front entrance and ample off street parking is also available. For transportation to the memorial home please call 617-569-0990.

Memorial donations in Mary's memory made be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 102454, Atlanta GA 30368-2454.

Mary was born in Boston in 1928 and was a life-long resident of East Boston. She worked as a waitress in the food service industry for many years. Mary passed away at the Youville Hospital in Cambridge after a brief illness. She was 73 years old.

Services will conclude with Mary being laid to rest at the Woodlawn Cemetery in Everett.

Joseph C. Sarro

January 5, 1935 - June 27, 2002

Sarro - Joseph C. of Orient Heights East Boston on Thursday June 27th, 2002.

Beloved husband of Judith Ann (Jordan) Sarro.

Devoted father of Joseph Sarro of Boston, Jerry Sarro of Weymouth, Jamie Sarro of East Boston, Judy Ann Sarro of East Boston, Timothy Sarro of Methuen, and Scott Sarro of East Boston.

Dear brother of James Sarro of Naples Florida, and Josephine O'Brien of Saugus, both formerly of East Boston, and the late Carmen, Frank and Mary Sarro. Cherished grandfather of ten loving grandchildren. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Funeral from the Ruggiero-Mazzarella Memorial Home, 971 Saratoga Street (Orient Heights) East Boston on Monday July 1st at 11:00am. Funeral Mass in St.Joseph-St.Lazarus Church, 59 Ashley Street, East Boston at 12:00 noon. Visiting hours are on SATURDAY June 29th from 4:00pm to 8:00pm (PLEASE NOTE: There is no visiting hours on Sunday). Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Joseph's memory to the American Heart Association, New England Affiliate Central Processing Center, 20 Spleen Street, Framingham, MA 01701-4688.

Joseph was born in Boston in 1935 and was a lifelong resident of East Boston. He worked for many years for the City of Boston Public Works, and most recently as a driver for Special Needs. Joseph passed away after a long illness at the Jewish Memorial Hospital in Boston aged 66 years.
