COLLEEN C. HUMBERTSON
FROSTBURG - Colleen Cecilia Humbertson, 69, of 10713 Catherine St., Frostburg, died Tuesday, Oct. 6, 1998, at Sacred Heart Hospital.
Born Nov. 13, 1928, in Detroit, she was the daughter of the late James and Hazel (Bruner) Dundon. She also was preceded in death by a son, Eric M. Humbertson, in 1978.

Mrs. Humbertson was a retired secretary from the Allegany County Sanitary Commission. She was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church and the Vicki Via Dotson Leukemia Advisory Board.

Surviving are her husband of 50 years, Herman F. "Herk" Humbertson; one son, Kurt Humbertson and wife Cindy, Frostburg; one daughter, Chris Cameron and husband Roy, Frostburg; one grandson, M. Chroy Cameron, Frostburg; one granddaughter, Kyra Snipes, Charleston, S.C.; one great-grandson, Justin Snipes, Charleston, S.C.; three brothers, James E. Dundon, Utica, N.Y., William P. Dundon, Lowville, N.Y., and Timothy Dundon, Utica; stepmother, Marion Bryant, Utica; and special friend, Wanda Duckworth.

Friends will be received at the Durst Funeral Home, 57 Frost Ave., Frostburg, on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Michael's Catholic Church on Friday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. William Moody as celebrant.

Interment will be in Frostburg Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be Russell Wayland, Robert Connor, Kenneth O'Rourke, Harry Seggie, Chroy Cameron and Roy Cameron. Honorary pallbearers will be Albert Via and the Honorable Miller "Goose" Bowen.

The family requests that memorials be directed to the Vicki Via Dotson Leukemia Fund, 46 Summit Place, Frostburg, MD 21532.

CHALMER "JIM" FOOR
CUMBERLAND - Chalmer James "Jim" Foor, 72, of 211 Oak St., Cumberland, died Tuesday, June 16, 1998, at his home.
Born March 20, 1926, in Bedford, Pa., he was the son of the late William Morrell Foor and the late Mary Magdaline (Kilcoin) Foor. He also was preceded in death by a wife, Clara Madeline Foor; a son, James Foor; and a daughter, Rebecca Grace Foor.

Mr. Foor was a retired employee of the B&O; Railroad, where he was a foreman. He was a member of Centenaryl United Methodist Church and the VFW Post 1101 Romney Post. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy in World War II.

Surviving are his stepfather, James Beagle, Bedford, Pa.; a wife, Wanda S. (Hardy) Foor, Cumberland; a son, Terry Foor, and wife, Maxine, Romney, W.Va.; four daughters, Debbie Cessna, and husband, Thomas, Romney, Barbara Arbogast, and husband, Randy, Cumberland, Rena Sykes, and husband, Robert, Cumberland, and Marsha Clark, and husband, John, California; a brother, Robert B. Foor, and wife, Bonnie, Baltimore; a sister, Betty Diehl, Bedford; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Friends will be received at the Merritt-Adams Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur St., Cumberland, on Wednesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.

Services will be conducted on Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Merritt-Adams Funeral Home, P.A., with the Rev. Edward Dickel and the Rev. Norman Landis officiating.

Interment will be in Maryland Veterans cemetery at Rocky Gap.

Military honors will be accorded at graveside by the Combined Veterans Honor Guard.

MARGARET V. FOREMAN
FREDERICK - Margaret Virginia Foreman, 78, of Frederick, died Tuesday, Feb. 3, 1998, at Northhampton Manor Nursing Center, Frederick.
Born Jan. 5, 1920, in Grafton, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Robert P. and Mattie (McDonald) Thompson. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Frank Weber; two brothers; one sister; and one son.

Mrs. Foreman was retired from the Howard County Maryland School Board. For a number of years, she ran a foster home for veterans in Frederick. She was a Methodist by faith, a member of the Howard County V.F.W. and Disabled American Veterans Ladies Auxiliary.

Surviving are her husband, Charles D. Foreman; one son, Bobby Weber; one brother, Jack Thompson and wife, Lou Wella, Cumberland; one brother-in-law, Frank Olinger, Cumberland; five nieces, Randy DiFonzo, Bonnie Hinkle, Cathy Olinger, Linda Bealky and Jane Ross; three nephews, Danny Olinger, Craig Olinger and David Thompson.

Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Avenue, Cumberland, on Friday from 11 a.m. to noon.

Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home on Friday at noon with the Rev. Richard H. Jewell officiating.

Interment will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park, Cumberland.

JOHN H. FORMAN
OAKLAND - John H. Forman, 80, of South Third Street, Oakland, died Tuesday, March 31, 1998, at the Garrett County Memorial Hospital, Oakland.
Born Feb. 28, 1918, in Crellin, he was the son of the late John C. and Lula L. (Kitzmiller) Forman.

From 1947 to 1952 he worked as a barber for the Bitner-Stahl Barber Shop, Oakland; from 1952 to 1956 he was employed at the Acorn Associates, Oakland; from 1957 to 1969 he owned and operated Forman's Barber Shop, Oakland; and from 1970 until his retirement he was a field representative for the Woodmen of the World Life Insurance Company.

He was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Oakland, where he served on the church council and in other capacities. He was a former member and past secretary of the Oakland Rotary Club. He was a member of Garrett Lodge #113, Knights of Pythias, Oakland, and served on the executive committee of the Potomac Council, Boy Scouts of America for many years.

An Army veteran of World War II, he was a member of Proctor Kildow Post #71, American Legion, Oakland.

He is survived by his wife, L. Susan "Sue" (Butt) Forman; one daughter, Barbara S. Booz, Westminster; two sons, Thomas E. Forman, Folkston, Ga., and John M. Forman, Oakland; four sisters, Mary K. Lewis, Loch Lynn, Marguerite A. Mazer and Jean L. Yutzy, both of Meyersdale, Pa., and Lu Ann Jackson, Zepherhills, Fla.; and five grandchildren.

Friends will be received at the Stewart Funeral Home, Oakland, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday. Services will be held at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Oakland, on Friday, April 3, 1998, at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Michael Robinson officiating. Interment will be in the Oakland cemetery.

HELEN M. FORTNEY
PINTO - Helen Merle Fortney, 79, of Orchard Mews Apartments, Pinto, died Wednesday, Dec. 9, 1998, at Sacred Heart Hospital, Cumberland.
Born May 18, 1919, in Rowlesburg, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Lola (Macomber) Wiles. She also was preceded in death by her husband, Paul M. Fortney; and one grandson, Eddie Martin Jr., in 1997.

Mrs. Fortney was a homemaker.

Surviving are three daughters, Connie Cosner, LaVale, Beverly Perdew and husband, Lee, Canton, Ohio, Linda Martin and husband, Edward, Cumberland; one sister, Lillian Teets, Elkins, W.Va.; one brother, Doyle Wiles, Weirton, W.Va.; six grandchildren, Kimberly Violette, Stephens City, Va., Mark Kenney, Fort Ashby, W.Va., Sheri Parrish, Stow, Ohio, Lisa Hawkins, Randy Perdew, both of Canton, Ohio, Mindy Pyles, Charles Town, W.Va.; and six great-grandchildren.

Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Ave., on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

Services will be conducted at the funeral home on Friday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Wayne R. Turner officiating.

Interment will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Donald Hooton, Lee Perdew, Dwayne Hawkins, Scott Pyles, Mark Kenney and Tom Violette.

She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

GLENN C. KOLBFLEISCH SR.
FREDERICK - Glenn C. Kolbfleisch Sr., 83, of Frederick, formerly of Damascus, died Thursday, Aug. 18, 1998, at the Glade Valley Nursing Home, Walkersville. He was the husband of the late Bertha Alverda (Colflesh) Kolbfleisch.
Born Feb. 10, 1915, in Accident, he was the son of the late Robert Emmanuel and Lucinda (Keim) Kolbfleisch. He also was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Whitney Case.

Mr. Kolbfleisch was a retired Montgomery County government employee. He was a member of the Mountain View United Methodist Church in Damascus, and the Woodmen of the World.

Surviving are six children, Naomi Zahniser and husband John, Leesburg, Va., Glenn Kolbfleisch Jr. and wife Ann, Accident, Jean Shafer and husband Tom, Middletown, Linda Case and husband Jack, Rockville, Gerald Kolbfleisch and wife Katherine, Frederick, and David Kolbfleisch, Martinsburg, W.Va.; 17 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at the Olin L. Molesworth P.A. Funeral Home, 26401 Ridge Road, Damascus, Thursday, Aug. 20, from 3 to 5 and 7 to 8 p.m.

Services will be held at the Molesworth Funeral Home at 8 p.m. Thursday.

Mr. Kolbfleisch will be removed to the Newman Funeral Home, 179 Miller St., Grantsville, where friends may call Friday, Aug. 21, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

Services will be held at the Newman Funeral Home on Saturday, Aug. 22, at 2 p.m. with Pastor Brenda Shreve officiating.

Interment will be in St. Paul's Lutheran cemetery, Fort Hill, Pa.
