CHARLES W. IZZETT
FINZEL - Charles William "Chuck" Izzett, 81, of Pocahontas Road, Finzel, died Tuesday, Jan. 27, 1998, at his residence.
Friends will be received at the Hafer Chapel of the Hills Mortuary, 1302 National Highway, LaVale, on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

Memorial services will be conducted by the Eastern Garrett County Fire Department on Friday at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

Services will be conducted in the funeral home chapel on Saturday, Jan. 31, at 11 a.m. with Pastor Jay E. West officiating.

Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park. Military rites will be accorded at graveside by the Combined Veterans Honor Guard.

DOROTHY HALL
CUMBERLAND - Dorothy (Dugan) Hall, 75, of J.F.K. Apartments, Cumberland, died Sunday at Memorial Hospital.
Born July 23, 1922, in Oak Hill, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late John Dugan and Rosella (Sharp) Dugan. She also was preceded in death by one sister, Marion Johnson.

Mrs. Hall was a member of the Cumberland Church of God.

Surviving are her husband, Zones Hall; one son, Allen Lee Hall, Potomac Park; three daughters, Nancy Reid, Victor, N.Y., Marion Brown, Frederick, and Patricia Fetters, Cumberland; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Friends will be received on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Leasure-Stein Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. C. Paul McDonald officiating.

Interment will be in the Maryland Veterans cemetery at Rocky Gap.

HELEN L. HALL
FLINTSTONE - Helen L. Hall, 66, of Flintstone, died Saturday, April 11, 1998, at Memorial Hospital.
Born Aug. 1, 1931, in Cumberland, she was the daughter of the late Matthew and Edna (Ash) Dolly.

Mrs. Hall was a homemaker.

Surviving are her husband, Frederick Hall; six sons, Keith Richard Hall, Flintstone, Frederick Hall Jr., Cumberland, William Lee Hall, Flintstone, Tom Hall and wife Carol, Rawlings, Donald Hall and wife, Reberta, Oldtown, Timmy Hall, Rawlings; two daughters, Rosie Barley and husband, Richard, Corriganville, JoAnn Puffenberger, Cumberland; two brothers, Richard Dolly, Albert Dolly, both of Cumberland; one sister, Mary Dolly, Oldtown; 12 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Ave., on Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m.

Services will be conducted at the funeral home Wednesday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Fred Iser officiating.

Interment will be in Glendale cemetery, Flintstone.

MARGARET E. HAMILTON
LONACONING - Margaret E. Hamilton, 87, of Frostburg Village Nursing Home, Frostburg, formerly of 15 East Main St., Lonaconing, died Saturday, Jan. 3, 1998, at Memorial Hospital.
Born Aug. 19, 1910, in Lonaconing, she was a daughter of the late Robert Hamilton and Mary (Schaefer) Hamilton. She also was preceded in death by two brothers, John R. Hamilton and Woodrow W. Hamilton.

Miss Hamilton was a graduate of Central High School, Lonaconing, and Western Maryland College. She had a Master's Degree in Education from Penn State University. She was a retired mathematics teacher, having taught at Oakland High School, Penn Avenue High School, Fort Hill High School, Central High School and Frostburg State University.

She was a member of Welsh Memorial Baptist Church, Frostburg. She was Past Worthy Matron of Martha Washington Chapter No. 10, Order of the Eastern Star, Lonaconing. She was a member of the Maryland State Teachers' Association, Allegany County Retired Teachers' Association, and Delta Kappa Gamma Society International.

Surviving are a brother, Robert S. Hamilton, Lonaconing; a niece, Barbara L. Hamilton, Lonaconing; and a nephew, Robert W. Hamilton, LaVale.

Friends will be received at the Eichhorn-McKenzie Funeral Home, P.A., Lonaconing, Monday, Jan. 5, 1998, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

Services will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, Jan. 6, 1998, at 11 a.m. with the Rev. William Boyer, Jr., officiating.

Martha Washington Chapter No. 10, Order of the Eastern Star will hold a memorial service on Monday at 7:30 p.m.

Interment will be in the Oak Hill cemetery, Lonaconing.

ROBERT S. HAMILTON
LONACONING - Robert S. Hamilton, 88, of 61 1/2 East Main St., Lonaconing, died Sunday, March 29, 1998, at the Egle Nursing Home in Lonaconing.
Born May 9, 1909, in Lonaconing, he was a son of the late Robert and Mary (Schaeffer) Hamilton. He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Pauline Springer Hamilton, who died Nov. 22, 1990. He also was preceded in death by two brothers, John R. Hamilton and Woodrow W. Hamilton; and one sister, Margaret E. Hamilton. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.

Mr. Hamilton was a graduate of Central High School in Lonaconing, and Catherman's Business School in Cumberland. He was employed on the company staff of the Celanese Corporation in various positions and retired in 1971 with 43 years of service. Mr. Hamilton served as chairman of the Allegany County Board of Zoning Appeals, and was a member of the Board for 12 years. He was a member and Past Master of the Georges Creek Valley Lodge #161, A.F. & A.M., the Ali Ghan Shrine Club, and the Martha Washington Chapter #10, O.E.S. He also was a member and past president of the Lonaconing Senior Citzens Club. He was a lifelong member of the First Presbyterian Church in Lonaconing.

He is survived by one daughter, Barbara Lee Hamilton, Lonaconing; one son, Robert W. Hamilton and wife, Nancy, LaVale; one grandson, Robert C. Hamilton, Centreville, Va.; and one granddaughter, Carrie E. Hamilton, LaVale.

Friends will be received at the Eichhorn-McKenzie Funeral Home, Lonaconing, on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home on Wednesday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. William Boyer Jr. officiating.

Interment will be in the Oak Hill cemetery, Lonaconing.

Georges Creek Valley Lodge #161 A.F. & A.M. will hold a memorial at the funeral home on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.

VIRGINIA F. KALLMYER
FROSTBURG - Virginia F. Kallmyer, 76, formerly of 100 Honeysuckle Lane, Frostburg, and a recent resident of the Frostburg Village Nursing Home, died Saturday, June 6, 1998, at the nursing home.
Born July 4, 1921, in Lonaconing, she was the daughter of the late Walter Kallmyer and Grace (Neat) Kallmyer. She also was preceded in death by two brothers, Irvin and Ellsworth Kallmyer; and one sister, Laura Kallmyer.

Surviving are one son, Bruce Durst and wife Janet, Frostburg; one daughter, Vivian Snoeberger and husband Bob, LaVale; two grandsons, Ron Snoberger and wife Janet, Hagerstown, and Rob Snoberger, Dover, Del.; two granddaughters, Lisa Durst, Frostburg, and Shari Durst, Frostburg; one great-grandson, Jordan; and three sisters, Nina Kemmerling, Frostburg, Thelma Ternent, Lonaconing, and Cathy Bell and husband Walter, Torrance, Calif.

There will be no visitation. The body will be cremated.

A memorial service will be conducted at the Sowers Funeral Home, P.A., 60 W. Main St., Frostburg, on Monday at 3 p.m. with the Rev. Ellis Kretschmer officiating.

Inurnment will be in Frostburg Memorial Park.

HARRY G. LEWIS JR.
FROSTBURG - Harry Grant Lewis Jr., 62, formerly of Frostburg, died Thursday, May 7, 1998, at the Trident Regional Medical Center, Charleston, S.C.
Born April 21, 1936, in Frostburg, he was the son of the late Harry G. and Emma Mabel (Spiker) Lewis Sr.

Mr. Lewis retired from the U.S. Navy and served in the Vietnam War.

He was a member of the Welsh Baptist Church, Frostburg, and he was a member of V.F.W. Post 10256 in Goosecreek, S.C.

Surviving are his wife, Nancy (Deal) Lewis; one son, Richard Lewis, and wife, Mona, Summerville, S.C.; one daughter, Patricia Lewis Fields, and husband, Dominic, Jacksonville, Fla.; five sisters, Betty Edwards, Frostburg, Alice Buckalew, LaVale, Inez Hetrick, Meyersdale, Pa., Thelma Wampler, Frostburg, Emma Jean Thomas, Pontiac, Mich.; three brothers, William J. Lewis, Frostburg, Ronald Dale Lewis, Frostburg, and Warren Lee Lewis, Cumberland; mother-in-law, Katherine N. Deal, Borden; six grandchildren, Cristina Marie Yancy, Ben Earl Yancy, Kimberlie Faith Welch, Gwendolyn Rachelle Lewis, Ashly Michelle Lewis, Joshua Dean Lewis; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at the Durst Funeral Home, 57 Frost Ave., Frostburg, on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

Services will be conducted at the Welsh Memorial Baptist Church, 19 Beall St., on Monday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. William G. Boyer officiating.

Interment will be in the Maryland Veterans cemetery at Rocky Gap. Farrady Post #24 American Legion Honor Guard and the Vietnam Veterans will accord military honors at graveside.
