GEORGE D. ROBERTSON
BARTON - George D. "Shorty" Robertson Jr., 64, of Novelty, Ohio, died Wednesday, May 13, 1998, at Geauga Regional Hospital, Claridon Township, Ohio.
Born March 24, 1934, in Barton, he was the son of the late George D. Robertson Sr. and Ruth (Pysell) Robertson. He also was preceded in death by a brother, Charles E. Robertson.
Mr. Robertson was a die setter for Ford Motor Co., Walton Hills, for 30 years. He retired in 1984. Since retirement, he taxied for the Amish part-time for about 10 years. He enjoyed going to horse shows with his daughters. He also enjoyed bowling and playing softball.
Surviving are his wife, Pearl (Wilt) Robertson; three daughters, Carol R. Summers, Garrettsville, Ohio, Janet G. Krejsa, Middlefield, Ohio, and Dorothy L. Culp, Garrettsville; one brother, James C. Robertson, Barton; one sister, Ruthann Zacot, Hagerstown; seven grandchildren, Rebecca C. Wilt, Amanda S. Wilt, Philip Wilt, Joseph D. Krejsa, Sarah M. Krejsa, Heather L. Culp and Danielle N. Culp.
Friends will be received at the Boal Memorial Chapel, Barton, on Sunday, May 17, from 7 to 9 p.m.
Funeral services will be held at the chapel on Monday, May 18, at 11 a.m.
Interment will be in the Laurel Hill cemetery, Moscow Mills.
HARRY W. ROBERTSON
CORRIGANVILLE - Harry William "Robbie" "Sonny" Robertson, 62, of Corriganville, died Tuesday, June 9, 1998, at Memorial Hospice following a long illness.
Born April 11, 1936, in Cumberland, he was the son of Harry Albert Robertson, Lions Manor Nursing Home, Cumberland, and Mildred Arbutus (Piper) Robertson, who preceded him in death.
On May 22, 1965, he married
Shirley Fuller. She survives along with four sons, Harry W. "Robbie" Jr. and Richard A. "Rick," both of Cumberland, William T. "Tim" of Frostburg and Robert C. of LaVale; two daughters, Robbin R. Sweitzer of Corriganville and Shirley M. at home; two brothers, Robert C. and William C. of Bel Air; four sisters, Mary L. Oster of Wellersburg, Pa., Betty J. Redden of Saxton, Pa., Barbara Phister of Fort Worth, Texas, and Patricia Marks of Short Gap, W.Va.; and five grandchildren.
Mr. Robertson attended Allegany and Fort Hill high schools and worked for Kelly Springfield for 25 years. He was the owner and operator of Sonny's Auto Sales, Corriganville.
Friends will be received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Hyndman, Pa., on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be conducted at the funeral home on Friday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Ken L. Korns officiating.
Interment will be in the Restlawn cemetery, LaVale.
HARRY "ROBBIE" ROBERTSON
CORRIGANVILLE - Harry William "Robbie" Robertson, 62, of Corriganville, died Tuesday, June 9, 1998, in the Memorial Hospice following a long illness.

ALBERT L. "ROBBIE" ROBESON
WESTMINSTER - Albert L. "Robbie" Robeson, 82, of Westminster, formerly of Frostburg, died Sunday, Feb. 1, 1998, at his home after a lengthy illness.
Born Oct. 19, 1915, at Avilton, Garrett County, he was the son of the late Enoch O. and Lillie F. (Blocher) Robeson. He was the husband of Betty (Staup) Robeson, his wife of 51 years.
He was a 1938 graduate of Frostburg State University, formerly Frostburg State Teachers College. He retired in 1976 from Carroll County Schools after 24 years of employment. He was a past governor of the Frostburg Moose Lodge, where he became a member in 1945.
He is survived by his wife, Betty; daughter and son-in-law, Janice L. and Thomas E. Kohler, York, Pa., daughter, Kimberly L. Robeson, Westminster; brother, Vernon R. Robeson, Frostburg; sister-in-law, Zeola P. Robeson, Frostburg; one grandchild; and nieces and nephews.
Services are at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 4, 1998, at Pritts Funeral Home, 412 Washington Road, Westminster. Friends may call Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Mount Zion Methodist Church cemetery on Old Route 40, West of Frostburg, at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 5, 1998. Mr. Robeson will lie in state at the church one hour, from 10 a.m. until the time of committal.

DORTHY N. ROBEY
SPRING GAP - Dorthy N. Robey, 83, of Spring Gap, died Sunday, Oct. 25, 1998, at Sacred Heart Hospital.
Born April 5, 1915, in Spring Gap, she was the daughter of the late Lionel and Emma (Moreland) Piper. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Newton K. "Kirk" Robey; four brothers; and six sisters.
Mrs. Robey was a homemaker and a beloved wife and mother. She was a member of Bethel Assembly of God Church, Oldtown.
Surviving are two sons, Raymond K. "Joe" Robey and wife, Rita, Oldtown, Larry K. Robey and wife, Christine, Spring Gap; three daughters, Eva Mae Beckman and husband, Dan, Judith G. Wagner and husband, Alan, and Linda K. Shroyer, all of Spring Gap; 14 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Ave., on Tuesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home on Wednesday at noon with the Rev. Fred Parker officiating.
Interment will be in Mount Tabor cemetery, Spring Gap.
LAURA MAE ROBEY
CUMBERLAND - Laura Mae (Redman) Robey, 25, of Broadway Circle, Cumberland, died Saturday, Feb. 28, 1998, at Memorial Hospital, Cumberland.
Born June 2, 1972, in Baltimore, she was the daughter of Richard and Jacqueline (Corbin) Redman, both of Cumberland.
Mrs. Robey was a homemaker.
Surviving are her husband, William Robey; one son, Garrett Ketterman; one daughter, Eliana Jess Robey, both at home; one brother, Charles Edward Lapp Jr.; one sister, Kellye Lynn Lapp, both of Cumberland; paternal grandparents, Charles and Shirley Hacker, Fort Ashby, W.Va.; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Ave., on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be conducted at the funeral home on Thursday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Harold T. Shaffer officiating. Interment will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens, LaVale.
Pallbearers will be Roger Miller, William Miller, Jack Redman, Jake George, J.C. Redman and John Appold.
CHARLES W. ROBINETTE
CUMBERLAND - Charles William Robinette, 88, of East Elder Street, Cumberland, died Thursday, April 23, 1998, at the Cumberland Nursing Home, where he had been a patient the last five years.
Born Jan. 31, 1910, in Cumberland, he was the son of the late Harvey Robinette and the late Rose B. Hammersmith. He also was preceded in death by a grandson, William Robinette.
Mr. Robinette was retired from Ort's Bakery and previously was employed by the Community Bakery in Cumberland. He was a life member and past president of Cumberland Eagles Aerie 245; past president of the Owls Club; former member of the El Fidel Club; and former secretary of the bakers union. An avid duckpin bowler, he was a member on numerous teams in the area for many years.
He was a member of Fort Cumberland Lodge 211; member Cumberland Scottish Rite Bodies; and charter member and former secretary of the Ali Ghan Ritualistic Unit. He was a lifetime member of Zion United Church of Christ and served as Sunday School Superintendent for many years.
Surviving are his wife of 67 years, Mary Madeline (Ritenour) Robinette; two sons, Charles F. Robinette and wife Kandy, Glen Burnie, and Jerome F. Robinette and wife Mitzie, Cumberland; three grandsons; five granddaughters; five great-grandsons; and seven great-granddaughters.
Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Ave., Cumberland, Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Fort Cumberland Lodge 211 will conduct a memorial service at the funeral home Friday at 7:30 p.m.
Services will be conducted at the funeral home Saturday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Rosemary Baumgardner officiating.
Interment will be in the Greenmount cemetery, Baltimore Avenue, Cumberland.
Pallbearers will be grandsons David Metcalfe, Kirk Meyer, Steven Robinette, Brian Robinette, Mark Seib and Medford Alexander.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Ali Ghan Ritualistic Unit.
