MARIAN E. HUTSON
CUMBERLAND - Marian E. Soethe Hutson, 72, of Cumberland, died Tuesday, June 17, 1997, at Devlin Manor Nursing Home, Cumberland.
Born Feb. 6, 1925, in Davis, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late James Emmart and Texa Emmart Kuhns. She also was preceded in death by her stepfather, Howard M. Kuhns; first husband, Louis C. Soethe; and second husband Brace L. Hutson.

Mrs. Hutson was a former employee of the Cumberland Savings Bank. She was office secretary for the local teamsters, member of SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church, and a graduate of Allegany High School, Class of 1942.

Surviving are two daughters, Karen L. Raupach, Raleigh, N.C., and Terri L. Harper and husband Patrick, with whom she resided; one son-in-law, Earl W. Raupach Jr.; seven grandchildren, Ragan L. Raupach, Sarah Beth Raupach, Jessica L. Raupach, Mathew M. Laber, and Patrick J. "P.J." Harper.

Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, 108 Virginia Ave., Cumberland, on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Christian Wake Service will be held on Thursday at 8:45 p.m.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church on Friday at 10 a.m. with Father Vance Pastorius, OFM, CAP., as celebrant.

Interment will be in SS Peter and Paul Catholic cemetery.

LUKE PATRICK `LUCKY' GRAHAME
CUMBERLAND - Luke Patrick "Lucky" Grahame, 64, of North Mechanic Street, Cumberland, died Tuesday, Dec. 16, 1997, at his residence.
Born Dec. 13, 1933, in Cumberland, he was the son of Angela Grimes, Cumberland.

Mr. Grahame served in the U.S. Air Force and worked at ABL.

He was preceded in death by one daughter, Janet Marie Grahame.

Besides his mother, he is survived by his step-father, Cecil Grimes, Cumberland; his wife, Joycelyn (Boyd) Grahame, with whom he celebrated their 42nd wedding anniversary on Nov. 1, 1997; two sons, William Eugene Grahame, North Dakota, and Patrick Edward Graham, Cumberland; three daughters, Angela Kay Hager, Washington, Genevieve Sue Jones, Texas, and Patricia Rosetta Grahame, Cumberland; and nine grandchildren.

Friends were received at the Leasure-Stein Funeral Home on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home on Monday at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Thomas R. Bevan officiating.

Interment will be in Rest Lawn Memorial Gardens, LaVale.

FLORENCE E. FAZENBAKER
FROSTBURG - Florence E. Fazenbaker, 93, of 166 Spring St., Frostburg, died Tuesday, April 8, 1997, at Memorial Hosital
. Born Dec. 17, 1903, in Garrett County, she was the daughter of the late Marcus A. and Susan (Weitzell) Fazenbaker. She also was preceded in death by one brother, Victor Fazenbaker.

Miss Fazenbaker was a member of the Frostburg Assembly of God Church. She was a housekeeper at Potomac Animal Hospital, and had just retired on March 15, 1997, after 25 years of service.

Miss Fazenbaker was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Friends will be received at the Durst Funeral Home, Frostburg, on Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. only.

Services will be conducted at the funeral home on Friday, April 11, at 10 a.m. with the Rev. H. Eddie Schaidt officiating.

Interment will be in the Mount Zion United Methodist cemetery.

Honorary pallbearers will be Elmer Keller Jr., Richard Sterling Keller, Theresa Liz McKenzie, Conrad Filsinger, Gene Moore and Fred Morton.

WILLIAM G. GRAY, SR.
CUMBERLAND - William Glen Gray, Sr., 69, 828 Mount Royal Ave., Cumberland, died Wednesday, Aug. 20, 1997, at Memorial Hospital. He had been a patient at Lion's Manor Nursing Home.
Born March 12, 1928 at Wheeling, W.Va., he was the son of the late James William Gray and Dora (Leasure) Gray.

Mr. Gray was a Staff Sergeant with the United States Air Force, retiring on June 30, 1967; he had 20 years of service. He also served in the United States Marine Corps and the United States Army. He served his country in the China Conflict and the Korean Conflict and was a personal family liaison representative during the Vietnam Conflict; his job was to represent the U.S. Government when a loved one died in Vietnam. He attended Centre Street United Methodist Church. He was a member of the American Legion in College Park.

He is survived by three sons, William Glen Gray, Jr., and wife, Donna, Cumberland, John Wayne Gray and wife Tammy, Roy Eugene Gray, both of LaFollette, Tenn.; two daughters, Carol Lynn Gray, address unknown, Natalie Jean Dillman and husband Wayne, Salem, Va.; one brother Fred Gray and wife Allie, Germantown; one sister, Shirley Morgan and husband Jeff, Modesto, Calif.; nine grandchildren, Marjorie C. Gray, Cumberland, William G. Gray, III, Michael J. Gray, both of El Reno, Okla., Crystal Dillman, Bradford Dillman, both of Salem, Va., John Gray, Lee Gray, Joey Gray, Joshua Gray, all of LaFollette, Tenn.; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at the Kight Funeral Home, 309-311 Decatur St., Cumberland, on Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m.

Services will be at the funeral home on Friday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Lloyd B. McCanna officiating.

Interment will be at Rocky Gap Veterans cemetery. Military services will be accorded at the graveside by a combined unit of various veterans organizations.

DELMAS G. FIKE
RAWLINGS - Delmas Gene Fike, 54, of Rawlings, died Tuesday, Feb. 18, 1997, at the Washington Hospital Center, Washington, D.C.
Born March 8, 1942, at Swallow Falls, he was the son of the late Harry D. and Ruby V. (Friend) Fike.

Mr. Fike graduated from Bruce High School in 1960 and joined the U.S. Navy as an enlisted man after high school. He went through the ranks to become a chief warrant officer, and entered the officer's program. He retired as a lieutenant in 1980 with 20 years of dedicated service. He served aboard the USS Intrepid, USS Cadamus, USS Mount Vernon, USS Nanahaula, and USS Belleau Wood, retiring from San Diego, Calif., to Rawlings. He served in Cuba, Vietnam, and the Iran Crisis.

Mr. Fike was an active member of Danville Church of the Brethren, Rawlings, having served on the church board, as board chairman, Sunday school teacher, and a dedicated servant of the Lord. In addition to his active church work, Mr. Fike enjoyed woodworking, fishing and the sports activities of his children and grandchildren. A devoted husband, father and grandfather, Mr. Fike will be greatly missed by his loved ones, his fellow church family, his neighbors and friends. Surviving are his wife of 35 years, Sandra Mae (VanMeter) Fike; two daughters, Sherri L. Ziler and husband Wayne, McCoole, Shelby S. Fike and fiance Mark Fost, Potomac Park; one son, Delmas Gene Fike Jr. and wife Kelly, Short Gap, W.Va.; three beloved grandchildren, David, Amanda and Lindsey Ziler; four brothers, Lloyd F. Fike and wife Clara, McCoole, Harry E. Fike and wife Sandy, Frostburg, Blair M. Fike and wife Karen, Newport News, Va., and Blaine M. Fike and wife Patty, Biloxi, Miss.; two sisters, Linda L. Keller and husband David, Orange Park, Fla., and Janice E. Martin and husband Howard, Keyser, W.Va.; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, Cresaptown, Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

Services will be conducted at the funeral home Friday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Robert Nealis and Louise Nealis officiating.

A memorial service will be held by the McCoole VFW at the funeral home on Thursday at 7:30 p.m.

Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park, Cumberland. Military honors will be accorded by the McCoole VFW Post 6775 at the gravesite.

Pallbearers will be nephews Andy VanMeter, Jason VanMeter, Sean Ellifritz, Richard Martin, David Kenner, and Matt James.

Contributions may be made to the Danville Church of the Brethren, 20510 McMullen Highway SW, Rawlings, MD 21557.

The family of Delmas Gene Fike finds peace and comfort in knowing that our precious "D.G." has made his home with the Lord.

RALPH C. ISIMINGER
LAVALE - Ralph Carl Isiminger, 89, of LaVale, died Saturday, June 14, 1997, at Memorial Hospital, Cumberland.
Born Nov. 15, 1907, he was the son of the late Elias and Myrtle Isiminger. He also was preceded in death by his first wife, Juanita (Cook) Isiminger and one sister, Rosella Andrews.

Mr. Isiminger was a retired employee of ABL Industries, Aerospace Division, and a former manager of Sears Department Store on Baltimore Street. He was a graduate of Washington High School, Washington, Pa.; a member of Christ United Methodist Church, where he served as an usher and past trustee; a member of the Cumberland Lions Club; a member of the Review Board of the Potomac Council of the Boy Scouts of America; and a member of the Garden Club. Mr. Isiminger was a volunteer for Meals on Wheels Community Pantry, History House, and Operation Gateway.

Surviving are his wife Dorothy (Miller) Isiminger, LaVale; two sons, Ralph C. Isiminger Jr. and wife Ethel Mae, Cumberland, John M. Isiminger and wife Lucia, Massapequa, N.Y., one daughter, Carol Aaron and husband James, Acton, Mass.; seven grandchildren, James Aaron, Susan Aaron, Anita Robinette, Chip Isiminger and wife Lori, Joseph Isiminger, Heather Isiminger, Kevin Isiminger; three great-grandchldren; one stepson, James Miller and wife Sharon, Bel Air; and one stepgrandson, Jeffrey Miller.

Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, 108 Virginia Ave., Cumberland, on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be conducted at Christ United Methodist Church on Monday at 2 p.m. Friends will be received at the church one hour prior to the funeral service.

Interment will be in Hillcrest Burial Park.

The family requests contributions to Christ United Methodist Church, 4th and Race Streets, Cumberland, MD 21502.
