Caine, Mrs. R. Joyce Walker
Mrs. R. Joyce Walker Caine of Ocean City died Monday, March 25, 2002 in the Berlin Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Born in Washington, D.C. in 1925, a 5th Generation Washingtonian, she was the daughter of Professor Ernest T. Walker, Electrical Engineer and College Educator for forty-three years and Edna Cooper Walker, who was a concert pianist from Denver, Colorado. She was a great grandniece of General Robert E. Lee. Mrs. Caine's grandfather, John H. Cooper was a friend of William (Wild Bill) Cody, (known as Buffalo Bill).
Mrs. Caine attended schools in Montgomery County, Maryland and Washington College in Chestertown, Maryland, majoring in Mathematics and Chemistry. Later, she graduated from The International Accounting College of Chicago, Illinois. She worked at National Bureau of Standards and Federal Bureau of Investigation both in Washington, D.C. during college summers. After marriage to James B. Caine, Sr., her college sweetheart, she worked for eight years at Wilmington Trust Company, Wilmington, Delaware as a Securities Analysis Writer. She has a MD RE License for thirty-five years. Mrs. Caine and Mr. Caine were divorced after 30 years of marriage.
From the age of ten, Mrs. Caine's main love was horses. Mrs. Caine accompanied the horses from Caine's Winter Place Farm when they traveled through the United States and Europe in the late 1960's and 1970's.
A funeral service will be held Friday, March 29, 2002 at 11:00 AM at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Ocean City; friends may call from 10:30 to 11:00 AM. Rev. Dr. Harry L. Wolpert will officiate. Entombment will be in the Evergreen Cemetery in Berlin.

Cabaud, Esther D.
Esther D. Cabaud, age 91, of Avondale, PA, passed away peacefully at the home she shared with her daughter and son-in-law surrounded by her loving family on Friday, August 22, 2008. She grew up in Jamaica, Long Island, and also lived in Rockville Centre, Setauket, Ridge & Shelter Island, all on Long Island, NY, and Green Hill Beach, Rhode Island.
Mrs. Cabaud is survived by her son, Philip G. Cabaud, Jr. & wife, Karen; daughter, Jeanne C. Pousson & husband, Ronald; sister, Dorothy H. Brown & husband, Hector; sister-in-law, Gertrude Cabaud; 6 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and many loving nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Philip G. Cabaud, M.D.; parents, James A. & Ruth I. Deakin; brother, James A Deakin, Jr. & wife, Adele; brother-in-law, Henry E. Cabaud; and sister-in-law, Mary Behrens.
Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, September 6, 2008 at Strano & Feeley Family Funeral Home, 635 Churchmans Road, Newark, DE 19702 from 10-11 am. A family memorial service will follow. Cafarella, Michael J.
Michael J. Cafarella, 86, died December 3, 2004 at the Barkley Nursing Home, West Chester, PA.
Mr. Cafarella worked for Pyrofax Gas Corporation, a subsidiary of TEPPCo., for 44 years retiring as an assistant to the Vice President. He was an Army veteran of World War II serving in the Corps of Engineers. Michael was decorated for Distinguished Service in the Battle of the Bulge and Pearl Harbor.
Other than his love for his family his second passion was the game of tennis. Mike played on the Junior Davis Cup Team in White Plains, NY and competed fervently throughout his life until he retired to watching all the matches on television.
Mr. Cafarella's wife of 48 years, Gertrude (Keating) Cafarella died in 1992. He was also predeceased by his sons, Michael, Jr. and Gregory.
He is survived by his sons, Donald and his wife, Hope of Chicago, IL and Christopher and his wife, Geri of Greenville, DE; his daughters-in-law, Sue Cafarella of California and Pat Cafarella of Louisana; his brother, Carmen J. Cafarella of New Jersey; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 7200 Lancaster Pike, Hockessin at 1 PM on Tuesday, December 7, 2004. There will be no calling hours. Cagiwa, Gary Bernard
Gary Bernard Cagiwa, 51 of Fruitland, died Friday, January 28, 2005 at his home in Fruitland, surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Washington, DC, he was the son of Clara Geraldine (Cagiwa) Young and the late Bernard Galivo Cagiwa.
Gary was an Early Childhood Teacher for the Early Choices Program and was employed by Lake Forest School District for 13 years, where he was nominated Teacher of the Year. He was a member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Salisbury, where he taught pre-school religious education. Gary loved to coach girls softball through the Wicimico County Parks and Recreation Dept. and also coached several travel teams. His number one sports love was being an avid fisherman, freshwater, saltwater, and surf fishing. He was also a die-hard Washington Redskins fan. Many people will remember Gary as a bartender at the Royal Exchange Pub, where he worked for 13 years. He will also be remembered for being a musician, playing piano and guitar.
He is survived by his wife, June Marie (Hillock) Cagiwa; son, Justin Gary and two daughters, Emily June and Rachel Nicole all of Fruitland; a mother and stepfather, Clara and Thomas Young of Lady Lake, FL; a brother, Lawrence Cagiwa, sister-in-law, Linda Cagiwa, and a niece, Danielle Cagiwa, all of Waldorf; a mother-in-law, June Brandenburg and her husband, Malcolm, both of Fenwick Island, DE.
Visitation will be held at Holloway Funeral Home on Tuesday evening, February 1, 2005 from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM with a prayer service starting at 7 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, February 2, 2005 at 11:00 AM at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Salisbury. Reception immediately following mass at Goin' Nuts Café in Salisbury.

Caine Sr., James B.
OCEAN CITY -- James "Jim" B. Caine Sr., 83, of Ocean City died Thursday, July 6, 2006, at Atlantic General Hospital in Berlin.
Born in Wilmington, he was the son of the late Grover Cleveland Caine and Helen Elizabeth Bradley Caine.
He was a graduate of Delaware City High School, Washington College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in accounting and the University of Chicago with a Master of Business Administration degree in accounting. He was a Realtor and developer and was responsible for developing north Ocean City. Some of his developments include Caine Keys I, Caine Keys II, Caine Keys II Extended, Caine Harbor Mile, Montego Bay, Caine Woods, and numerous other building projects in the '60s, '70s and '80s.
He was also a third-degree black belt in Isshinryu karate.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Lou Caine of Ocean City; a son, James B. "Jamie" Caine Jr. of Ocean City; a daughter, Bradley Ann Caine of Smyrna; and two grandsons, James Caine Sheppard and Nicholas James Caine.
A funeral service will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Hastings Funeral Home in Selbyville, where visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. The Rev. Olin Shockley will officiate. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park in Berlin.

HARRY RAHR CALDABAUGH
Salisbury - Harry Rahr Caldabaugh, 90, died peacefully at his home, Sunday, June 1,2003. Born in Wheeling, WV he was the son of the late Mabel Wallace Rahr and Harry Edward Caldabaugh. He was preceded in death by the late Eleanor Long Caldabaugh, the love of his life, business partner, and wife of 54 years.
He is survived by a brother Jack Caldabaugh of HighPoint, NC, a son and daughter-in-law H.B. and Colleen Caldabaugh of Salisbury, a son and daughter-in-law K.C. and Tama Caldabaugh of Ponte Verda Beach, FL, two granddaughters; Karen Mills of Virginia Beach, VA and Kris Kirby of Chesapeake, VA, two grandsons; Kevin and Kyle Caldabaugh of Ponte Verda Beach, FL, a great-grandson Stefan Mills, two great-granddaughters, Kylie and Kinsey Kirby, and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to express thanks to Juanita Parsons, Coastal Hospice, and all those who provided companionship, comfort, and support.
Mr. Caldabaugh graduated from West Virginia Wesleyan with a degree in Math. He acquired his Masters Degree from Duke in Educational Psychology. He taught in Keyser and Elk Garden, WV. Upon moving to Salisbury, he taught at Princess Anne High School and Hebron. In 1950 he established Boulevard TV in Salisbury. In 1955 he and his wife founded Caldabaugh Communications Inc. where he was president until his retirement in 1990.
His many interests included ham radio (call sign W3LUV). He earned his pilot's license when he was 58 years old and flew his own plane until he was 85. He was an avid photographer, with his own color darkroom. He also enjoyed camping and hunting. He went to Africa on safari when he was 80, and took several bear hunting trips to Canada after that.
Friends may call at Bounds Funeral Home tonight from 7-9 PM. A funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11 AM at Trinity United Methodist Church where friends may call from 10-11 AM. The Rev. George R. Patterson will officiate. Interment will follow in Parsons Cemetery in Salisbury.
