Wagner, Gilbert C.
Gilbert C. Wagner, 71 of Cambridge passed away on Thursday June 21, 2007 at the Dorchester General Hospital. He was born in Baltimore on March 12, 1936 and was a son of the late Phillip and Mildred Walther Wagner.
He attended schools in Baltimore City and Baltimore Co. and graduated from Kenwood High School in 1955. He enlisted in the U.S. Coast Guard and served from 1955 to 1957. Mr. Wagner worked for Verizon for 35 years and had retired in 1992. On November 24, 1963 he was married to the former Jean Hoffmeister. They have made their home in Cambridge since he retired in 1992. Mr. Wagner was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Cambridge where he had volunteered in a number of different jobs. He was a member of Cambridge Lodge No. 66 A.F. & A.M. as well as Chesapeake Forest # 115 Tall Cedars of Lebanon. He had been in failing health for the past month and had been a patient at Dorchester General Hospital since last Monday where he passed away on Thursday evening.
Survivors include his wife and one daughter Sandra L. Fuller and her husband Scott W. Fuller of Mantua, New Jersey.
Members of Cambridge Lodge No. 66 A.F. & A.M. will conduct a Masonic Memorial Service at 11:00 AM Tuesday morning at the Thomas Funeral Home in Cambridge which will be followed by a funeral service with the Rev. Douglas M. Ridley officiating. Interment will follow at the Zion Church Cemetery in Baltimore. The family will receive friends during the hour preceding the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Endowment Fund of Cambridge Lodge No. 66 A.F. & A.M., P.O. Box 362, Cambridge, MD 21613. Pallbearers will be members of Cambridge Lodge No. 66 A.F. & A.M.
Waddell, Everett Manley
Everett Manley Waddell, age 68, of Rising Sun, MD, died on Wednesday, February 13, 2002 at Union Hospital.
Mr. Waddell was born on May 21, 1933 in Smith County, Virginia. He was a veteran of the US Army and a member of the American Legion Mason Dixon Post 194 Honor Guard in Rising Sun, MD. He was an avid gardener.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara A. Waddell of Rising Sun, MD; 2 sons, Edward and Ricky Waddell of Rising Sun, MD; 1 brother, Gene Waddell of Rising Sun, MD; 3 sisters, Aretta Webb of Rising Sun, MD, Melba Melrath of Oxford, PA and Faye Jaminson of Little Britain, PA; 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by 4 brothers, Garland, Wallace, Elmo and John Waddell.
Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday February 18, 2002 at R. T. FOARD FUNERAL HOME, 111 S. Queen Street, Rising Sun, MD where friends may call Sunday evening from 7 - 9 p.m. Burial will be in Rosebank Cemetery in Calvert, MD.

Wade, Irene A
Irene A. Wade, 61 of Rising Sun, MD died Wednesday, April 3, 2002 at Harford Memorial Hospital.
Mrs Wade was born on April 18, 1940 in Goldsboro, North Carolina, the daughter of the late Leslie Strickland and Mary Parrish.
She is survived by two Daughters, Joan Hilditch of Rising Sun and Jacqueline Poole of Havre de Grace; one son, Lee Harris of Jessup, Maryland; six grandchildren, Richard Knauss of Erie, PA, Jennifer Harris of Edgewood, MD, Crystal Knauss of Havre de Grace, Angela and Stephen Hilditch of Rising Sun and Hayden Poole of Havre de Grace. She is also survived by one great grandchild, Chase Holden of Edgewood.
She is preceded in death by her husband, James Edward Wade.
Graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family at Willowdale Cemetery in Goldsboro, North Carolina.

Leonard "Buddy" Wade
Leonard "Buddy" Wade, 78, of Salisbury died Thursday, December 23, 2004 at Peninsula Regional Hospital. Born in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Leon H. Wade and Sarah Poehlmann Wade.
Buddy was a member of VFW Post 194 and the American Legion Post 64 in Salisbury. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of WWII and a member of USS LSM-LSMR Association.
He is survived by his sons and their wives; Bruce and Robin Wade, and Michael and Joanne Wade; four grandchildren, Scott Wade, Justin Wade, Sally Wade and Garrett Wade; his sister, Sally Lou Tiemann of Fremont, CA; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Catherine Lee Wade.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday, December 28, 2004 at 7:00 PM, at Holloway Funeral Home, with visitation one hour prior to the service. VFW Chaplain Pete Layfield will officiate.

Wade, Edna Frances
Edna Frances Wade, 90, formerly of Riverdale, MD, died Tuesday, August 24, 2004 at Berlin Nursing Home in Berlin, MD. Born in Lattimore, NC, she was the daughter of the late William C. and Frances Jenkins Harrill. Her husband, Erwin M. Wade preceded her in death July 11, 1983.
Mrs. Wade was a graduate of Appalachian State Teachers College in Boone, NC and the University of Maryland. She taught school in Prince Georges County for 30 years. She was instrumental in starting the Educational Systems Federal Credit Union, where she was a board member for 30 years. She is now a board member emeritus. She was one of the first women on a town council in Prince Georges County. She started the first teen club in Riverdale and was also the first woman mayor of Riverdale. She was a member of Prince George County Beautification Committee. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Hyattsville where she was a deaconess and was instrumental in starting the Hyattsville Hills Day Care Center at the church.
She is survived by two daughters, Charlotte Barrett and husband, Tom Barrett of Ocean Pines, Carolyn Gilbert and husband Lawrence Gilbert Sr. of Bowie, MD; seven grandchildren: Alissa Roberson, Charlotte Ladd, Lynn Marie Villeneuve, Michael Alsop, Stephen Alsop, Lawrence Gilbert Jr. and Melanie Saderholm; eighteen great-grandchildren and five special nieces; and many great-nieces and nephews and a large extended family. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Irene Poss and two grandsons: Matthew Roberson and Craig Roberson.
The family will receive friends at 1 PM Monday, August 30, 2004 followed by a memorial service at 2:30 PM at the First Baptist Church of Hyattsville. Officiating will be Rev. Colin Thorne. A private committal service will be held at a later date at the Laytonsville Methodist Cemetery in Laytonsville, MD.

Waddell, Donna Marie
Donna Marie "Dee Dee" Waddell, age 36, of Port Deposit, MD, died suddenly as a result of an auto accident on Friday, June 14, 2002.
Donna was a homemaker. She was a beautiful woman, who touched the lives of everyone around her, and was always smiling and happy. She will be sadly missed by all of us and her memory will never die. . . we love you Dee Dee.
She is survived by two sons, Marvin Lee Biggs of Townsend, DE and Brandon Biggs of Port Deposit, MD; one brother, Edward F. "Luke" Chambers, Jr., of Delaware; her father, Edward F. Chambers, Sr. of Townsend, DE; two nephews, David Rawley of Townsend, DE and Luke Edward Chambers of Elkton, MD; many nieces, uncles, and aunts; and a good friend, Michelle "Mickie" Johnson of Elkton, MD.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday June 18, 2002 at R. T. FOARD FUNERAL HOME, 111 S. Queen Street, Rising Sun, MD.
Margaret E. Wagner
Margaret E. Wagner, 92, of Salisbury, died, Saturday, January 29, 2005 in Salisbury. Born in Salisbury she was the daughter of the late Ella Long Wagner and the late Fredrick Wagner.
Mrs. Wagner was a member at the Park Seventh Day Adventist Church in Salisbury. She also owned and operated Margaret's beauty Shop in Salisbury, for sixty years.
She is survived by her son: John Edward Wagner Sr. and his wife Joan Lorraine of Hockessin, DE; two grandchildren: Dr. John Edward Wagner, Jr. and his wife Lisa from Minnesota; Jeffery David Wagner of Seattle, Washington; three great-grandchildren: Chelsea, Katie and Eric Wagner. She was preceded in death by her four brothers; George Fred Wagner, John Lewis Wagner, Christopher Wagner and Edward Wagner.
A funeral service will be Friday, February 4, 2005, at 11 AM at Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Pastor Phil Hamman will officiate. Interment will be in Parsons Cemetery in Salisbury.

Wade, Minnie Marie
Minnie Marie Wade, 50 of Aberdeen, MD died November 10, 2004 at Lorien Frankford Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Baltimore, MD. She was born February 28, 1954 in Havre de Grace, MD to the late Herman Walter and Nola Lorretta Lieske.
She was educated in the Harford County Public Schools, graduating from Aberdeen High School in 1972. She married Charles Glen Wade, Sr. November 10, 1972, five months after graduating from high school. From this union two sons, Charles Glen Wade, Jr. and Edward Christopher Wade were born.
Minnie was a strong Christian who was a member of Bethel Apostolic Church in Havre de Grace, MD. Her family says she was a very devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Her hobby was being an avid Wal-Mart shopper.
She is survived by her husband Charles Glen Wade, Sr., Aberdeen, MD; three sons Charles Glen Wade, Jr., Edward Christopher Wade, Aberdeen, MD and Kevin Wade, Dundalk, MD; daughter Lorna M. Monahan and her husband Patrick, Darlington, MD; three granddaughters Chelsy Monahan, Hannah Monahan, Darlington, MD, and Leanndra Mitchell, Dundalk, MD; grandson Braydan Roscoe Wade, Aberdeen, MD; three sisters Mary Nelson, Helen Richick, and Charlotte Lieske, of Joppa, MD; six brothers Herman Lieske, Sr., Edward Lieske, Henry Lieske, III, Thomas Evans of Aberdeen, MD, Jesse Evans, Baltimore, MD and John Lieske, New Jersey; and several nieces and nephews.
Services officiated by Pastor Buddy Flosser will be held at 12 noon on Friday November 12, 2004 at Lisa Scott Funeral Home 552 Lewis Street, Havre de Grace, MD where friends may call two hours prior. Friends may also call Thursday November 11, 2004 at the funeral home from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. and from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Burial will be in St. James United Cemetery, Havre de Grace, MD.
Pallbearers are Zachery Foul, Jimmy Nelson, Henry Lieske, IV, Robert Wade, James Wade and Patrick Monahan. Honorary pallbearer is Frances Fulks.
