Jason E. Holovack
TUCSON, Ariz. - Jason E. Holovack, 18, of 1532 S. Moonbeam Place, and formerly of Waynesboro, Pa., died Tuesday, Sept. 9, 1997.
Born June 21, 1979, in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., he was the son of Lawrence J. Holovack of Wilkes-Barre, and Bobbi S. Robbins Weaver of Tucson.
He was employed at a case work manufacturing plant in Tucson.
He was interested in antique sports cars and their refurbishment.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his stepfather, Francis X. Weaver of Tucson; maternal grandmother, Majorie Hess of Tucson; paternal grandmother, Ruth Pulatano of Wilkes-Barre; maternal great-grandfather, Leon Hess of Eldered, Pa.; stepgrandmother, Peggy Huff of Hagerstown; one aunt; and two uncles.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Lawrence Holovack.
An inurnment service will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at Quincy Cemetery. The Rev. Clay Moyer will officiate.
Friends may stop by Snyder-Lochstampfor Funeral Home, 48 S. Church St., Waynesboro, to express memorial tributes in the Expressions Tribute Book to the family on Friday from 10 a.m. to noon and from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Church Street door chapel.
A memorial service was held Tuesday at Swan Funeral Home, Tucson.
John E. Hunter
CONWAY, S.C. - John Elliott Hunter, 76, of 2836 Old Railroad Road, died Monday, Sept. 15, 1997, in Hagerstown.
Born in Pageland, S.C., he was the son of the late Joel Robert and Leila Mae Hunter.
He was a retired retail merchant.
He was a disabled U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.
He was a member of Christ the Savior Lutheran Church.
He also was a member of Palmetto State DAV, and American Legion Post 111 in Conway.
He is survived by his wife, Anna Lorraine Eichelberger Hunter of Conway; two daughters, Pat Baker of Conway and Anne Holland of Florence, S.C.; two brothers, Jewel Hunter of Pageland and Harry Hunter of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; three granddaughters; one grandson; three great-granddaughters; and four great-grandsons.
The family will receive friends at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Holland, 410 Thomas Road, Florence, S.C.

Myrtle L. Harmison

Mildred F. Dunkle
CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Mildred F. Dunkle, 85, a resident of Penn Hall Nursing Center, and formerly of Chambersburg, died Tuesday, Sept. 16, 1997, at Chambersburg Hospital.
Born Feb. 16, 1912, in Chambersburg, she was the daughter of the late Amos S. and Edith M. Flora Myers.
Her husband, Elmo A. Dunkle, died in 1990. They were married in May 1949.
She was a 1930 graduate of Shippensburg High School, Shippensburg, Pa., and in 1943 graduated from Harrisburg School of Cosmetology.
She was owner and operator of the former Mid's Beauty Salon in Chambersburg, retiring in 1978.
She was a member of Central Presbyterian Church, Chambersburg, and the Semper Fidelis Sunday School Class.
She also was a member of American Association of Retired Persons, National Association of Retired Federal Employees, Pinellas Park Art Society, Pinellas Park, Fla.; and volunteered at Shook Home in Chambersburg and with the Meals on Wheels Program.
She is survived by four daughters, Rita M. Baughman and Edith E. Leedy, both of Chambersburg, Cynthia A. Carpenter of Tecumseh, Mich., and Bonnie E. Tecco of Wildwood Crest, N.J.; ; one son, Jacob U. Whorley of Shippensburg; two brothers, Henry M. Myers of Carlisle, Pa., and Wayne S. Myers of St. Petersburg, Fla.; 19 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be held Friday at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg. The Rev. Linda J. Jaymes and the Rev. Stephen M. Tecco will officiate. Burial will be in Upper Strasburg Methodist Cemetery, Upper Strasburg, Pa.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home one hour prior to the service on Friday.

Walter H. Boise
CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Walter H. Boise, 78, of 252 Linden Ave., died Tuesday, Sept. 16, 1997, at Chambersburg Hospital.
Born Dec. 16, 1918, in Chambersburg, he was the son of the late Arthur R. and Elizabeth Whiting Boise.
He was a truck driver for Letterkenny Army Depot near Chambersburg, retiring in January 1970.
A U.S. Army veteran, he served during World War II.
He was a member of John Wesley AME Zion Church in Chambersburg.
He also was a member of IBPOE Laurel Lodge 133, Chambersburg.
He is survived by his wife, Dallas E. Reaid Boise; three daughters, Juanita S. Carter of Carlisle, Pa., Christine E. Dixson of Chambersburg, and Minnie Boise of Harrisburg, Pa.; three sons, Robert L. Reaid and Carl W. Watson, both of Chambersburg, and Walter H. Watson of Cincinnati; 18 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Hilda Roosevelt and Viola Atkinson; and two grandchildren.
Services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg. The Rev. James A. Johnson will officiate. Burial will be in Lebanon Cemetery, Chambersburg.
A visitation will be held at the funeral home one hour prior to the service on Friday.

M. Susan Runyon
MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - M. Susan Runyon, 53, of Martinsburg, died Monday, Sept. 15, 1997, at City Hospital, Martinsburg.
Born Dec. 14, 1943, in Washington, D.C., she was the daughter of the late Agnes Guglielmini.
She and her husband formerly owned and operated Sueco Construction Inc.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth W. Runyon; one daughter, Donna Susan Runyon Hill of Damascus, Md.; three sons, Terry Lee Runyon of Holland, Mich., Garry Wade Runyon of Derwood, Md., and Dale Brent Runyon of Gaithersburg, Md.; four brothers, Samuel Guglielmini of Martinsburg, W.Va., Albert Guglielmini of Laytonsville, Md., Raymond Guglielmini of Florida and Steven Guglielmini of Jonesville, Va.; and eight grandchildren.
Services will be held Friday at 2:30 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home, Martinsburg. The Rev. Floyd Smith will officiate. Burial will be private.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m.
Joshua L. Marshall
GREENCASTLE, Pa. - Joshua Lee Marshall, 22, of 11441 Worleytown Road, died Monday, Sept. 15, 1997, at Washington County Hospital in Hagerstown of injuries from a motorcycle accident in Antrim Township on Friday morning.
Born May 22, 1975, in Hagerstown, he was the son of Trina Ehrhart Marshall and the stepson of John M. Oberholzer of Greencastle.
He was a 1993 graduate of Greencastle-Antrim High School.
He worked as a carpenter for Richard L. Piper Construction of Greencastle during the summer months and as a lift operator at Whitetail Ski Resort in Mercersburg, Pa., in the winter.
In addition to his mother and stepfather, he is survived by one daughter, Alexandra "Lexi" M. Marshall of Greencastle; his girlfriend, Stephanie Stoey of Greencastle; his grandmother, Dorothy Ehrhart of Greencastle; three aunts; one uncle; and five cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Merle Ehrhart.
Services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Miller-Grove Funeral Home, 521 S. Washington St., Greencastle. The Rev. K. Hull Byers will officiate. Burial will be in Parklawns Memorial Gardens in Chambersburg.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m.

Harry F. Doub Jr.
Harry Fleet Doub Jr., 78, of 344 N. Mulberry St., Hagerstown, died Tuesday, Sept. 16, 1997, at Washington County Hospital.
Born March 21, 1919, in Hagerstown, he was the son of Lillian Beatrice Manyett Doub of Hagerstown and the late Harry Fleet Doub Sr.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Agnes Louise Doub, in 1992.
He retired from Fairchild Industries after 39 years.
He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
He was a member of BPO Elks 378; a life member of Western Maryland Sportsmens Club and North American Rod and Gun Club.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by one daughter, Susan Ginck of Smithsburg; three sons, Gary L. Doub and W. David Doub, both of Hagerstown, and Larry W. Doub of Bear, Del.; one sister, Catherine Colvin of Hagerstown; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown. The Rev. Raymond H. Shriver will officiate. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Williamsport.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 7 to 9 p.m., where a memorial service will be conducted by BPO Elks at 7 p.m.
Mitzie M. Netz
Mitzie M. Netz, 58, of 15739 Spade Road, Hagerstown, who died Monday, Sept. 15, 1997, is survived by a brother, Leonard Reigel of Clear Spring; and a foster mother, Edna Reigel of Hagerstown.

Frances L. Harper
MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Frances L. Harper, 74, of Martinsburg, died Wednesday, Sept. 17, 1997, at City Hospital, Martinsburg.
Born Oct. 30, 1922, in Wardensville, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Bud and Lottie Orndoff Walker.
She was a member of Shenandoah Bible Baptist Church.
She is survived by one daughter, Phyllis Jean Clark of Martinsburg; three sons, Clarence E. Harper and Thomas A. Harper, both of Martinsburg, and James L. Beck of Martinsburg; one sister, Mollie Rindard of Wardensville; one brother, Edwin Walker of Wardensville; seven grandchildren; and 10-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, Franklin H. Harper; one sister and four brothers.
Services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home, Martinsburg. The Rev. Michael Bageant will officiate. Burial will be in Rosedale Cemetery.

Mary M. Bond
Mary Mildred Bond, 85, of 516 Reynolds Ave., Hagerstown, died Tuesday, Sept. 16, 1997, at George Washington University Hospital, Washington, D.C.
Born April 28, 1912, in Fulton County, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Elijah and Dorothy Hagerman Souders.
Her husband, Creston H. Bond, died in 1985.
She was a graduate of Hancock High School.
She was last employed with Dutchmaid Clothing, and previously worked at Hagerstown Interwoven and as a waitress at Beck's Restaurant.
She was a member of Hagerstown Church of the Brethren, the Personal Workers Sunday School Class, Sowing Circle and Friendly Callers.
She also was a member of AARP.
She is survived by two stepdaughters, Lorraine Oberholzer of Hagerstown and Sara Jane Baker of Sharpsburg; one brother, Kenneth Souders of Berkeley Springs, W.Va.; one half-sister, Martha Lynch of Sommerset, Pa.; one half-brother, Wilbur Peck of Sun City, Fla.; two stepgrandchildren; four stepgreat-grandchildren; three stepgreat-great-grandchildren; and 14 nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Harry H. Souders.
Services will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown. The Rev. Dean M. Miller will officiate. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery
in Sharpsburg.
