Morris A. Brown
SABILLASVILLE, Md. - Morris Albert Brown, 81, of 14343 Brown Road, died Sunday, March 22, 1998, at Washington County Hospital.
Born Oct. 8, 1916, in Foxville, Md., he was the son of the late Albert Martin and Bertie Viola McAfee Brown.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Hilda Grace Smith Brown, in 1967.
In his early life, he was employed by Mount St. Mary's College farm in Emmitsburg, Md. He later worked for Western Maryland Railway and then at Landis Tool Co. in Waynesboro, Pa. He retired from Frederick County Roads Department.
He is survived by two daughters, Virginia Rogers of Emmitsburg and Irene Stotler of Thurmont, Md.; two sons, Donald Brown of Emmitsburg and Ray Brown of Thurmont; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by one son, Leon Richard Brown; and one great-grandson.
Services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Robert E. Dailey and Son Funeral Home, Thurmont. The Rev. William Kercheval will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Bethel Cemetery, Foxville.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friends may call at the funeral home today from 2 to 9 p.m.
Percy J. Pryor
Percy James Pryor, 80, of 317 S. Potomac St., Hagerstown, died Saturday, March 21, 1998, at Washington County Hospital.
Born Sept. 12, 1917, in Wolfsville, Md., he was the son of the late Russell and Rebecca Barkman Pryor.
He was owner and operator of P.J. Pryor and Son Plumbing and Heating for 25 years. He was then employed as a plumbing inspector by the City of Hagerstown.
He was a veteran of World War II and served with the U.S. Army.
He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church.
He was a member of Funkstown American Legion Post 211; VFW Post 1936; Eagles Inc., Waynesboro, Pa.; AMVETS Post 10; and Woodman of the World.
He is survived by his wife, Thelma L. Pryor; two daughters, Shirley Cunningham of Maugansville and Sandra Graber of Smithsburg; an adopted daughter, Angie Gum of Hagerstown; one son, Gary W. Pryor of Hagerstown; three sisters, Helen Schroyer of Waynesboro, Betty Brunner of Chewsville and June Manspeaker of Smithsburg; two brothers, Harold Pryor of Las Vegas and Ralph Pryor of Chewsville; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Gaynell Cline and Connie Wilkerson; and two brothers, Alvie Pryor and Carroll Pryor.
Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown. The Rev. Raymond H. Shriver will officiate. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, Hagerstown.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

Eva I. Shank
BOONSBORO - Eva Irene Shank, 99, a resident of Fahrney-Keedy Home, and formerly of 504 N. Main St., died Sunday, March 22, 1998, at the home.
Born Dec. 2, 1898, in Keedysville, she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Annie M. Shifler Rohrer.
She was preceded in death by her husband, J. Albert Shank, in 1992.
She was a homemaker and a farmer's wife.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Boonsboro.
She is survived by one sister, Mildred Rohrer of Boonsboro; one granddaughter, Helen Tait of Richmond, Va.; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Irene Shank Price.
Services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Bast Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike, Boonsboro. The Rev. Joseph I. Donovan III will officiate. Burial will be in Boonsboro Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday one hour prior to the service.

Mary O. Stockbridge
WILLIAMSPORT - Mary O. Stockbridge, 96, of 16505 Virginia Ave., died Saturday, March 21, 1998, at Homewood Retirement Center.
Born April 4, 1901, in Sherwood, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Jesse M. and Edith L. Hussey Otis.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John S. Stockbridge, in 1987.
She was a 1924 graduate of Wheaton College.
She taught for several years in Silver Creek, N.Y.
She was a member of St. Andrews Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by two sons, John C. Stockbridge of Bloomington, Minn., and Edward O. Stockbridge of Acton, Mass.; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Homewood Retirement Center, Williamsport. The Rev. Mark Sandell and the Rev. Willard Rahn will officiate. Burial will be in Friend's Cemetery, Poplar Ridge, N.Y.

Helen E. Shaull
Helen Elizabeth Shaull, 85, of Hagerstown, died Sunday, March 22, 1998, at Ravenwood Lutheran Village.
Born March 1, 1913, in Martinsburg, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late H. Littleton and Bertrand Supplee Shaull.
She was a member of Westview Baptist Church, Martinsburg.
She was the last of her immediate family. She is survived by one sister-in-law, Elinor W. Shaull of Ravenwood Village, Hagerstown, with whom she lived; four nieces; and two nephews.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Jane Young, and one brother, William T. Shaull.
Services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home, 327 W. King St., Martinsburg. The Rev. Johnny Kelly will officiate. Burial will be in Rosedale Cemetery, Martinsburg.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday one hour prior to the service.

Robert L. Vosburgh
Robert Leslie Vosburgh, 58, of Hagerstown, died Sunday, March 22, 1998, at Washington Hospital Center, Washington, D.C.
Born Sept. 7, 1939, in Frederick, Md., he was the son of the late Edward H. and Iva E. Riggall Vosburgh.
He was a 1957 graduate of Westminster High School, Westminster, Md.
Before retiring, he was a truck driver with Preston Trucking Co. in Hagerstown.
He was a member of Teamsters Local 992, NRA, NSSA, North American Rod and Gun Club in Hagerstown and Mayberry Fish and Game Club.
He is survived by his wife, Wilma "Jeanie" Vosburgh; two daughters, Tammy D. Vosburgh-Chinn of Virginia Beach, Va., and Cheryl L. Davis of Williamsport; one son, Jason S. Vosburgh of Hagerstown; one brother, Bradley E. Vosburgh of Westminster; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Louise Geiman; and two brothers, Edward Vosburgh and Paul Vosburgh.
Services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Fletcher Funeral Home, 254 E. Main St., Westminster. The Rev. David A. Highfield will officiate. Burial will be in Westminster Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.

Mildred V. Loveless
FAIRPLAY - Mildred V. Loveless, 74, of 8828 Reichard Road, died Monday, March 23, 1998, at her home.
Born June 19, 1923, in Frederick County, Md., she was the daughter of the late Emmert and Deilah Thomas Rohrbock.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry E. Loveless Sr., in 1980.
She retired from Fairchild Industries.
She is survived by two daughters, Barb E. Price and Carolyn Long, both of Fairplay; three sons, Harry E. Loveless Jr., Harold Loveless and Ronald Lee Loveless, all of Hagerstown; 16 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by James R. Palmer, with whom she resided, in 1997.
Services will be Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. at Gerald N. Minnich Funeral Home, 305 N. Potomac St., Hagerstown. The Rev. Robert Robinson will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, Hagerstown.
Visitation will be at the funeral home Wednesday 30 minutes prior to the service.
Carl A. Fink
WILLIAMSPORT - Carl Abraham Fink, 91, of 335 S. Artizan St., died Monday, March 23, 1998, at Washington County Hospital.
Born Oct. 11, 1906, in Martinsburg, W.Va., he was the son of the late Col. Ellsworth and Susan Allen Fink.
He was employed by Pennsylvania Department of Highways, retiring in 1975. He previously was involved in farming. After his retirement, he was involved in land development.
He attended Williamsport Assembly of God, Williamsport.
He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Nettie Elizabeth Grimes Fink; one daughter, Jeannean Shoop of Jupiter, Fla.; two granddaughters, Deborah Adams of Newville, Pa., and Rebecca Garrity of Carlisle, Pa.; one grandson, Richard A. Jones of Carlisle; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one son, Donald Wayne Fink; four sisters, Anna Knobe, Mary Bishop, Goldie Charles, and Hazel Dewalt; and six brothers, Ernest Fink, Robert Fink, Charles Fink, Frederick Fink, Rufus Fink and Lloyd Fink.
Services will be Thursday at 10 a.m. at Osborne Funeral Home, 425 S. Conococheague St., Williamsport. The Rev. Shawn Peck will officiate. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Williamsport.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral home will be open Wednesday after 9 a.m.

Donald L. Johnson
Donald Leroy Johnson, 74, of 1143 Sunnyside Drive, Hagerstown, died Monday, March 23, 1998, at Washington County Hospital.
Born April 17, 1923, in Indian Springs, he was the son of the late Roy and Rhoda Bell Gordon Johnson.
He retired from Pangborn Corp.
A veteran of World War II, he served in the U.S. Navy.
He was of the Protestant faith.
He was a member of Tall Cedars of Lebanon Hagerstown Forest 95, American Legion Clear Spring 222 and James W. Bowers Lodge 173.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Baker Johnson; three sisters, Pearl Grove, Doris Helser and Mabel Tompkins, all of Big Pool; and two brothers, Harry Johnson of Clear Spring and Ottis Johnson of Williamsport.
There will be no service or viewing.
